After putting together most of a floor lamp I'd ordered, when I got to the very last step, it dealt with wiring that seemed too thick and long for the lamp design, but, also, it required threading the wires into a very tight lightbulb socket. It was recommended by the company who sold me the lamp to hire an electrician to handle this task since it was a bit too complicated for the layman. After compiling a list of around 10 highly-rated electricians around Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn, I called/emailed each one to see about dealing with my lamp.
