After trying for a month to get 4 different electricians to show up at my house, the first estimate I received involved doing a complete service change and rewiring the entire house. Needless to say I needed a second opinion. That's when I called Powell Electric. They were professional and courteous. They fixed the problem which was caused by a couple bad circuit breakers and a bad outlet. The whole repair took less than 1.5 hours. They had all the parts they needed on their truck and fixed the problem without taking advantage of us. Honest, ethical and reliable. This is what a service company should be. I highly recommend them. My service rep, Jaime Ambriz was top shelf and Powell Electric will be my electrician's for life!

Had a Tesla wall charger installed. The price was far below other quotes I received. The customer service was great. The team showed up on time, did the job quickly, and cleaned up before they left.

We should have waited for Alex! Another company came by, fiddled with this and that for about an hour and “assessed “ the intermittent connection issue, applied some electrical tape, and overcharged us for the privilege. Alex came by, asked direct questions, listened intently, checked the panel, focused on the exterior connector, assessed the issue within minutes, advised us to call DWP and didn’t charge us for his valuable time and expertise. Strongly recommend them! Vigen found a solution to get a much needed ceiling fan in our master bedroom and did the work on the spot. In addition, noticed several electrical issues and fixed them during the course of his work. Super professional and friendly. I will definitely call them again. I couldn’t be happier with the work and they did it in the midst of 2 very curious dogs lurking at every turn.

All bad. We need the right answers not a guessing act. The man came into my home, charged me a $150 an fixed nothing. My plugs still dont work. Im calling someone else an asking if the can fix my problem up front. Last time i make the mistake.

Almost impossible to believe--charged me $890 for a job I learned later could have been accomplished by changing to a different kind of bulb! The tipoff to their suspect way of business is that they refuse to give breakdowns. That means you never know what you paid for materials and what you paid for labor. It's in their contract, but they didn't show me the contract until after the work was done. That's when I saw no breakdowns. Had they dealt honestly and let me see that at the start, I would NEVER have hired them. I have researched and now know the materials cost under $50 and so the $840 was for about two hours work.
$420 an hour, not bad. Demand the contract first. See where it says no breakdowns, and say Goodbye.
