My husband and I recently bought a house built in the 80's that needed some love. There were a few weird things going on. The most frustrating and dangerous issue was the large amount of exposed and old wires in the attic. Our lights would flicker and some would just not work at all. We called Cory with Volthouse Electric and he scheduled a consult with us immediately. He did a thorough walk through, explained our situation, and gave us a quote. after we talked with Volthouse we had a second opinion come and check it out and they priced us over twice the cost of Volthouse. We immediately called Volthouse back, Cory came out the next day and helped us out!! Im so thankful for the fast response and the amazing customer care, I can finally go to work and not worry about my house catching fire from faulty electrical. I would highly recommend Volthouse, by far the best electrician I've ever worked with!!

Short story - fraudulent and unprofessional.Long story - Genesis electrical did not finish the work they agreed to finish. They demanded payment in full prior to final inspection (we paid 60% after rough inspection). When the job was agreed upon there was no discussion of payment in full prior to final inspection. Further, there was nothing in the estimate regarding paying them in full prior to final inspection. During our argument with them about this, they sent us an altered estimate in which they changed the original estimate to say the the final payment was due prior to final inspection. Hilariously stupid to think we had not saved the original estimate. I am no lawyer, but this probably qualifies as fraud. I will be contacting the attorney general if we have any more problems with this company. I don't care if it cost us 10,000 in legal fees, if we have ANY more problems from this company. I WILL CONTACT THE ATTORNEY GENERAL AND GO AFTER THEIR LICENSE. That is how bad it went. We had to find another electrician who would be willing to put their name on the permit. This was a difficult task, because master electricians are reluctant (as they should be) to put their name on someone else's work. Finally, their work did not pass final inspection. Not surprising, considering they so badly wanted to be paid BEFORE final inspection. So we had to pay to get that work fixed.

We tried to use this business to install a plug for a microwave oven above the stove (and install the microwave), and install plugs and switches throughout the house. They scheduled an afternoon appointment over a week ago and no-showed without a call. Left messages that are still not returned.*******UPDATE*********A person from Aztec Electric responded to this review and indicated that he believed I was in Fort Worth and had not contacted him about electrical work. I can assure everyone here that I had indeed contacted him, and my review stands. I even gave him another opportunity to come back and do the electrical work. I called, he never bothered to call me back, so my review now shows Aztec Electric no-showed me TWICE without so much as a callback BOTH times. Don't bother with this Company. There are plenty of other great electrical contractors who are more than happy to come and earn your business.

Don Gordon, owner and master electrician, does business the right way. They do excellent work and if there's a problem they stand behind it and make it right. Nice to find good people doing great work in this town when everything's moving so fast it would be easy to cut corners. They don't. Highly recommend.
