I've hired Duhon electric for various jobs at my home and rental property. They've done replacement of old outlets, install ground-fault new outlets, and installed ceiling fans/lighting fixtures. These are items where I really want a licensed electrician doing the job, and Duhon Electric has been very professional and reasonably priced.

Paul is an expert electrician and he has graciously worked with my schedule. He's solved numerous electrical issues in my house with ease.

Really happy with the outdoor light install we had done. The lighting was absolutely gorgeous and it really brought the outside space to life. We loved how easy our team was to work with and how accommodating they were on price.

Seven years into my apartment's occupancy, I still haven't gotten around to having any sort of lighting installed. I contacted a licensed electrician in my area, and he promptly came to replace all of the lighting in my home. His service was prompt, reasonably priced, and left no mess, and I couldn't be more pleased.

Unbelievable as it may sound, the electrician proved to be rather useful. For a reasonable fee, he repaired my lamp.

It is my professional opinion that Aztec Electric is the real deal. I have been a contractor for 40+ years. In those years I have run across and dealt with many contractors, but not as professional and prestige as Aztec Electric is. I will continue to use them in the future. These guys are awesome! 5 stars isn't enough. I will call them first for any future electrician needs at the business and at my own home. They went above and beyond during the unprecedented winter storms in Texas When we were the only business in the area that that still didnt have power, when it was restored to everyone else around us, after 2 days of straight brown out - I knew we had an isolated issue at our property. Mind you it was after 9pm, and I knew it wasn't a rolling black out issue (our meter was on) but no power at all in this large 3 story building. I called a dozen electricians and all were either no answer or told me it would be days before some one would come. Already feeling defeated, I looked one more time on google and found Morningstar Light & Electric and decided to call. Natalie promptly answered my call, I explained my situation, and after a brief hold she told me some one was on their way. Sure enough Ken showed up through the miserable driving conditions and walked and talked with me for over an hour and got our power back on. He answered all of my questions and showed me step by step what I could do it something similar happens again(I would have never figured it out - with all the knobs, buttons, levers on this commercial main disconnect).From the first phone call to them I didnt even ask about what their charges, rates, or emergency after hour fees would be- I was just glad to have a professional come out and help me . I told Ken and Natalie to contact me directly the next day and Ill take care of the invoice my self. A couple of days go by and Natalie calls me to tell me that Morningstar Electric is not going to charge us a dime!Electrician Ken and Morningstar Electric came out here in the middle of the night during an ice/snow storm that Texas has never seen before and gave light and heat to all the people stuck here! WITH NO CHARGE!

I highly recommend Grounded ATX. I had two jobs performed by them. The first job was to move an electrical outlet from one location to another. The second job was to install a generator plug for my generator. Both jobs were performed in a timely manner. The cost was reasonable for a Master Electrician with many years of service in the field.

When I called to set up a service call, John asked me to send him a photo of my panel... So, he had all the parts he needed to make the repairs with him when he came out. Great service all around.

Please avoid using this company as the person who schedules ( Mindy) their work is The most unprofessional person ever! She just cost me 4 hours of pay doing exactly what she wanted and not what the customer told her she could do. Appointment was set for 9 rescheduled for 12 then she told the tech the appointment was at 2. UPDATE-BACK STORY. Mindy tried to schedule an appointment set by the previous owners of my home the same day and was mad that I could not comply with an appointment that i was just finding out about that day. I do work and can not just get off for something that was NOT scheduled through me. I asked her to set up an appointment for a week and for it to be in the morning due to my work schedule. We did this and then she tried to move the date and time. I explained that I already had scheduled time off and could not move it. She then asked to move it to 2 not 9. I said no it needs to be in the morning due to my work schedule. I then asked the previous owners to schedule it because she was difficult to work with. I have emails that show 12 today as the time. Not last week or the week before. Then after I chose to give this review she called me to yell at me for the giving her a bad review. And this is the owner none the less. I’m just glad I didn't pay for their service as she was so unprofessional. On the bright side, Austin their Tech was awesome and super friendly. Maybe the owner should take notes.
