I am recommending this company without hesitation. Everyone I talked with, from making the initial contact and appointment to the electricians who arrived were courteous and professional. Today and Alec were the best - professional, personable and informative. Alec is an apprentice electrician and I observed how Cody interacted with him, teaching him on several different occasions. There is obviously a lot of respect and courtesy given between colleagues. These are the kind of people I like to have in my home doing work for me. I plan on having them back in the next several months to do more work.

I have been using Bowne Electric for about twenty years off and on to help me maintain and update my old central Austin house. Believe me, I have tried other electricians, but after a few bad experiences, have learned Bowne is hands down the best in all categories.

They came and changed out a fan and electrical outlet. It took less than hour. I was quoted $150 an hour and then was told it would $240. Spoke to owner who they called to get price to charge me. He agreed to stay with what he charged me for labor and than added $34 for the outlet. The fan was not wired properly. The light and fan would not work separately. they had to come back and rewired the fan.

Did the job (gas bonding) quickly and efficiently, and answered questions I had. Great service from start to finish from company. Prices were inline with other quotes (5 other providers).

Clearly incompetent, unable to to finish projects on time. Repeated issues of cleanliness, and time management. When installing cam lights and boxes failure to cut only necessary material away. Always leaving more repairs for other trades to do behind them. This includes cabinet damage, drywall damage and water line damage.
