Very disappointed. Had emergency on Saturday. Recommended by a neighbor. Employee came right out but couldn't do the work without a permit. My husband is on oxygen. No power at all. Employee tried to reach owner and his sons to get permit. No return call. Could have had it done sunday. When monday came around I was told I would have to schedule the service for the following week. Really? Wont recommend them to any one

Lost power a year ago when a tree fell on the mobile home. I fought almost the whole year with the city trying to get the power back on. Another company tried but seemed unable (or unwilling) to take on the challenge even though they told me they could get it back on for nearly the whole year. The day I called Burbank Electric, I tried 4 others before them and none answered or even returned my call. Richard, from Burbank, answered my call the first time and was confident he could get it back on. I was skeptical. He came, gave me an estimate and told me he could get the power on. He did the work on a Friday (7/2) and, after a holiday weekend and a tropical storm, power got turned on. He did exactly what he said he would do and he followed through. He even followed up with me after his work was done to see if JEA was going to restore the power.
Burbank Electric is very highly recommended and I will call them again in the future if electrical work needs to be done.

12/1/2021 - Called Burbank Electric again for some electrical issues. The rental house next door was tripping the oven breaker constantly. Richard ran a new wire (50 amp instead of the 30 amp that was there) installed a new 50 amp breaker. Problem solved.
At my house, installed a new permanent power outlet for the garage door opener ( it was ran by the installers to an outlet controlled by a switch), then 2 new breakers so my lights would work on a switch, then got an outlet working that’s been tripping a breaker for almost 5 years.
No surprise everything was done above my expectations. The garage power is outstanding and the tenants are very happy they can cook again. Thank you Richard. Again!

Hired Dependent Electric at the recommendation of my local irrigation installer. I needed an additional outlet in my garage, and an external outlet ran to the far side of my home for a new irrigation pump. They came out and gave me a great quote, asked all the right questions and were clearly knowledgeable about what they do. On install day, were here on time, happy to work (even in incredible heat) and finished the job with everything working as it should. Price was fair (I'm not hiring the cheapest electrician, that's rolling the dice). They also arranged for the inspector to come by, and filed the paperwork! Would HIGHLY recommend and would call them again without a second thought. Thank you!

Seems like they don't care who they put behind their work vans if they're smoking out the van full of weed or going up to the pawn shop in the middle of the day but the owner gets mad when you point out there are better, more professional options. Don't waste your time reaching out to the company and just call the police so their work vans can be seized. I wish the owner would had responded to my phone call better than me having to come on here to make my point on his Google Review. Owner seems like the angry, vindictive type who just cares about an imaginary amount of stars when he should have just as much passion about managing his people. So what if you've been around for so long it can all go away from poor management which it seems this business has a culture of poor everything from poor work ethic and all the way up to poor supervision of employees. This is an ambulance chaser's wet dream with this company where a work van comes into a small parking lot at over 10mph and tries to squeeze between multiple vehicles and a vehicle backing up, all just to pawn a DVD player for $10. Are your employees that hard up for $10 or just in a rush to spend that $10?

We recently moved to Jacksonville and had several electrical projects that needed to be completed in a timely manner on our new home. Nick and his team completed them on-time and on-budget. No change orders, no surprises, and no headaches. I had an electrical journeyman's license in two states prior to moving here and I have been extremely pleased with the quality of work, and with the accuracy of the bids. I highly recommend Nick and his team, and will continue to reach out to him as our first choice for all projects going forward.

The absolute worst experience ever with a electrical contractor. I am trying to post all the pictures of the damage that was left but it’s over $10,000 in damages. They might be the best in the commerical game. But run away from the residential side of there business.

I worked there for a total of 9 years. Larry deserves a lot of respect. He requires his employees to provide excellent customer service and top quality work. I am thankful to have worked there.

Dangerous driving and rude workers

No show.

Was in traffic off of Peacan Park Rd for about 30 min. The line was very long. Here comes one of your drivers cutting everyone off. He pulled through , drove on the grass, almost hitting another vehicle. The driver of the vehicle honked at him and your employee shot him a bird. Very unprofessional!!!
