Best Control Wiring in Houston TX
Used them to install a whole house generator. They know their stuff. Might not be the cheapest but you get what you pay for. And slight modifications off of the normal process are not a problem for these guys to take care of. They are also very fast to answer their phones and take care of any issues that arise. They send you a quote so there are no hidden charges. what you see is what you pay.

The reviews on here are all employees of the said company. Small company = small mindedness.. Greenhands are hired then fired after it slows down because lack of productivity or motivation. How can a greenhand show their best quality when they are limited to bs work and no learning experience. The owner himself shows no concern for his non favorite employees also he curses with vulgar language. If you want to waste your time then this is the company for you. Also, they have horrible staff management. A project on the Northside would have employees living on the other side of town out there and vice versa. Belco electric. Hah.

I called Lone Star for an estimate on wiring a furnace. Another company had begun a wiring overhaul, but didn't finish. I also needed a light fixture installed. They came to give the free estimate 2 days after I contacted them (they would have come sooner, but I wasn't in a hurry, since it wasn't an emergency). They found issues that other companies hadn't found and gave an estimate on the same day. (After a different company told me they needed a full day of billable work to evaluate and offer me an estimate.) They showed up on time to do the work and it was completed in 4 hours. They installed my light fixture, split a switch in my breaker box, added a furnace switch, and wired my furnace. It was great, fast work for a surprisingly low price. I'll be back to them for future electrical services.

Meritage home builders contracted this company for electrical with my house. Wiring and plugs have worked well. My light switches have not. I have replaced about 15 light switches in my house to date. They are defective. My home warranty covered electric for 2 years. I replaced about 3 by the two year mark. After replacing approx 5, I realized this was more than a coincidence. I asked House of Power to furnish new switches and I would replace them myself. Their representative was rude and replied that it was not their problem. I offered to give supply the broken switches and that it was abnormal that switches that new were problematic. This company uses defective equipment. They are not customer service centered. They lack business integrity, being that they do not support their craftsmanship or product. A terrible experience overall.I am worried about the quality of the electrical system in my home and hope that I will have no further problems, other than possible having to replace the other 70 switches in my home over time. Each plug costs roughly $10. Right now I have spent about $150. Additionally I have spent about 20 minutes to replace each switch, approx 3 hours I will not get back.I hope that this review helps you to avoid using a company of such poor standards in both product quality and customer service.

I work in commercial/retail property management and my company has used CPL for all of our electrical needs over the last year, since we were first referred by a mutual business partner. From the very first job, we were truly impressed by the communication, professionalism, quality of work and value. Anyone who has worked with any of the skilled trades knows that finding a company that has ALL of these qualities truly is a needle in the haystack. CPL has completed jobs for us as simple as changing out one light fixture style to another to running new wiring tens of feet and have even done a few investigative fixes for us on some things that I certainly can't explain the minutiae of (but Chris, the operations manager can), I just know they got fixed...like the giant sign on the front of our building that sadly sat unlit for months and now glows beautifully! The bottom line is, you're going to get quality work at an honest price and you won't be in the dark about anything (no pun intended). Chris is very transparent and communicative about the whole process and while it may or may not sway your motivation to work with CPL, I don't think it should go without noting that he is a notably kind person to work with.

We reached out to Camden Electric to fix the work done by other contractors. My house sustained significant water damage as a result of busted water pipes back in the freeze of 2020. We had a general contractor perform repairs, and part of these repairs included re-wiring electrical outlets and light fixtures. We were told the job was done, however we had several issues with our electrical work as outlets were not working properly. Our previous contractor inspected the matter but could not identify the issue nor provide a solution. We called Camden Electric to review the work done by the contractor. Camden was able to quickly identify the issue (faulty wiring work) and perform the necessary work to resolve our problems in a timely manner. Camden Electric also did a great job of explaining our issue and assisted us in dealing with our home insurance in order to help us get reimbursed. Overall it was a great experience and will use them again in the future.
