Nextdoor Electric Electrician
Did a quick google search and Nextdoor electric popped up. Wish these guys were at the very top of my search, it would have saved me time calling a few other places! I described my issues over the phone/text and Sal was able to quickly diagnose it and also came by to take a look within a day. He didn’t even charge me for taking a look! Great service and great user experience and fixed multiple issues within 15 mins. Highly recommend!

I had a technician come out to my place for some electrical work and to assess whether we needed to upgrade our panel. The first appointment was great. But then we book a day for them to come for an all day appointment for a panel upgrade and the first availability was 15 days later, and I pay UP FRONT for the work. I get a confirmation email that my appointment is booked. Then, no one shows up to do the job, and when I call West Houston apparently my appointment wasn't booked correctly.I was initially upset because their next available date was 20 days later. However, the owner called me and apologized and moved things around to get someone out within the next few days, to ensure I didn't have to go to the back of the line.I really appreciate how he wanted to make things right for their mistake.

Jolt Electrical Solutions, LLC - Houston Electrician
This company did work on a neighbors house that required they did up in an easement thru my backyard. I’ll start by saying I seriously doubt this is a woman owned company. Never saw one woman and I’m pretty sure I saw all their employees. They tore up my yard and they never got any information from the gas company or anybody else around about where other lines were. There were none of those token flags that should be used to identify other lines going through your yard. Subsequently they dug right through my fiber optic cable. The men they had Digging did not speak a lick of English so I’m pretty sure they are not regular employees and possibly just temporary/day employees. And they worked these men to death had them digging in the Texas heat from 8 AM until 11 PM. Regardless my complaint is they destroyed my yard and did absolutely nothing to rectify the situation. They told me that they had to put something on my door that said that they were not responsible for damages which I think is a joke. Not sure who they think they are but they don’t get to decide that they’re not responsible for any damage that is done to my yard. I tried contacting them about the minimal amount of money that it’s going to cost to have my yard fixed and they are not interested. I would definitely look for a bigger establishment if you’re gonna have major work done. Someone who can follow the laws and the regulations and be safe.
