Shannon responded quickly to a request for an estimate and was to meet me at the project site and provide me with an accurate quote quickly. Shannon was professional and was able to complete his work around our busy clinic schedule. The quality of his work is high and I am well pleased with the final product! This company and its owner have no integrity. Chuck will give you verbal assurances, and then refuse to honor his commitments. Make sure you have every single thing that man says in writing.

Incredibly disappointed and frustrated with my experience with Porter.

I placed an order for a mantle I was told would be 13 weeks out just before closing on a Saturday, and attempted to cancel the order the following Monday after finding a more reasonably priced option that would deliver in 4 weeks.

I was then told deposits, which was 50% of the total, were non-refundable, which was not communicated during the buying process. Porter then pointed to the invoice, drawing, and receipt, which has the disclaimer in approximately 5 point font buried in a 240 word paragraph, and was signed by me in an approximately 60 second time span on Saturday when the salesperson asked me to sign here, here, and here.

After disputing the charge, but still being required to pay based on the signed invoice, I requested that Porter donate the deposit to charity, since the only other option was a store credit.

At this point, I have not received any proof a charitable donation has been made, nor have I received a credit, and it has been 5 weeks since my donation request.

I am not disagreeing with any point you have made, especially since you have almost reiterated verbatim what I originally posted.

If I had been told verbally there was a non-refundable deposit policy, you would not have heard anything from me. The fact is, you currently have over $500 from me that was provided as a deposit, and I have received nothing from it. Simply provide me a receipt that you made a charitable donation. I do not see how that is an unreasonable request.

I am sure you understand that I do not want you to benefit monetarily based on my experience with your company. I think we can both feel good about helping out a worthy cause.

For the past six months my wife and I have been enjoying our new Affinity Kitchen. From the start of the project to the end it was more then we could have ever asked for. Starting with our first visit to the Affinity showroom where we met Theresa Franklin the person responsible for designing our new kitchen. She did an awesome job. We were a little tight on space but she was able to put so much more in the space we had. You got to have her show you the Le Mans Lazy Susan, It is so cool. When the kitchen arrived, Mike and a coupe others guys showed up and unloaded everything. These guys were very organized and neat. Then Mike got to work. I cannot say enough about the job this guy did. First class all the way. There was a lot of custom work involved in this project, wiring, lights, picking out a sink and counter tops, Theresa lead us through the process all the way. The company seemed to communicate very well throughout the project because we really never missed a beat. The project started on time and end on time within the budget we all agreed on.

After seeing a friend’s kitchen remodel and the high praise she gave Kyle and Capitol Mark my husband and I called and set up an appointment. We liked Mark from the beginning. He walked us through the kitchen remodel, explained what we needed to do. Kyle was always very professional, organized and punctual. A great communicator. His crew started demolition on time, cleaned up before they left. They took cabinets out, we had a gasoline put in, new cabinets, countertops, lighting, fans, countertops, sink and new appliances. The entire project was finished 3 days before it was scheduled to be completed. We were blown away! Who gets done on time?! Capitol Mark!
We were so impressed with the way the kitchen project went we hired Kyle and his team to remodel both of our bathrooms while we were back in Montana for the summer. That’s how much we trusted him and his crew. We face timed with Eric during the process. The project included taking a block window out, replacing with a smaller window, removing a tub, repositioning the shower, making the entry into the shower level for a wheel chair, tiling, new toilets, lighting, fan, countertops and cabinets. We flew down once to see the progress. Beautiful workmanship. .
It was a pleasure working with Mark and his team. He’s got a great group working for him. We’d hire them again.
