Best Bathrooms Bathroom Remodeling in Phoenix AZ
Ken and his guys at Acuity took fantastic care of us after we had some water damage to our home. The reclamation company did more damage than the original flooding, so by the time Acuity got to us, we were already beyond stressed. Ken took the time to understand our needs, worked with the settlement from our insurance, and put our home back together beautifully. My family and I could not be more pleased with the way our home looks. I would highly recommend Acuity to anyone that is looking for a remodel, if your home has been damaged, really anything. Their work is amazing and they are friendly and very easy to work with!

They were hired by my apartments property managers to fix water damage in my unit. It took them two months to get approved to do the work, then several weeks past the date they told me it would be done to finish the work. They left my closet doors unattached and just laying in the bathroom plus a huge mess to clean when I got home from work. When I told them to get someone out to install the doors, they told me it would be nearly another week to get a 5 minute job completed. Bad communication as well, I had to reach out to them several times during the process because they never kept me informed of when they planned to enter my apt. Just a bad experience all around. Sad thing is that most of the employees were very nice and did good work. That's why they got 2 stars.

Four months of frustration. I hired Kowalski Construction for a small project of replacing wood laminate in one room, carpet in one room, and replace kick plates under kitchen appliances & cabinets. The home was vacant and empty so they had no furniture to move and they put their lockbox on the door to allow free access. I purchased the flooring at a local store and it was all in-stock so there was no delay due to ordering materials. The laminate was installed with gaps large enough to put my little finger in, so they had to come back twice after I threw a fit. Ron Petty was the Project Mgr. We walked the house together and he approved the work, even though I had previously sent him a photo of the gap. Replacing flooring in two rooms of a small townhouse should not have taken four months. Ron Petty never initiated a conversation with me to apprise me of the status of the job...I always had to contact him. He seemed very unaware of what was happening on this project. Finally, after four months, they finished and I approved the work. I waited over two weeks for an invoice and I finally sent Kowalski an email giving them a deadline to send me a final invoice. They are very happy to take a credit card as payment, but they'll charge you an additional 3% (not even the dollar store charges me a fee!) so I had to locate a paper check. Terrible company. Sloppy work. And slow as molasses. **UPDATE** Today is August 7th...a full 6 months since I posted a negative and Kowalski is just now getting around to responding. Like I said originally, they are slow as molasses. I would also like to address a couple of points you bring up. 1) I signed off on the project completion but never once told anyone I was 'happy' with the work or that anyone did a good job. 2) The flooring was purchased at a Phoenix Home Depot and was IN STOCK. The was no special ordering of any flooring. All your people had to do was pick it up. Additionally, there were no insurance delays...only Kowalski delays. And I wouldn't have had a punch list if the work had been done properly the first (or even the second) time. State Farm sent me the full payment approx 2 months before your people finally finished the job. All I wanted was to be done with you but I finally had to call your office and REQUEST a final invoice from you...couldn't even get you do do that in a timely fashion. Therefore, Mr K, I would recommend that you not respond to issues on which you are not fully informed. By the way, at this time you do not have a 5 star rating on either Google or Yelp. Pfft...uninformed AND slow
