A+ deserves an A+! Amanda was the first person I spoke to when I called to get a quote. She is freindly, smart and knows exactly how the septic business works. We are selling our house and she walked us through the entire process. Additionally she was able to get the septic tank emptied and inspected within 24 hours of my call. Lastly she said to please give 3 to 5 business day to receive the paperwork from accounting. I got it the next day! Richard did the actual job and he was AWESOME! I had 2 issues with my septic system that needed repair. I found Artic Effluent after calling around to a few plumbing and septic service companies.
The 1st was the highwater alarm in the lift station was going off. When Deric from Arctic Effluent came to look at it, he showed me the corrosion of the pipes in the lift station that were leaking and had to be replaced. While evaluating the issue he also found mud and gravel in the septic tank which could be seen by looking down one of the vents, he assessed it was highly likely the pipe had a break. Due to the snow and ice in my backyard, we decided to put off that repair until spring when the snow was all gone..
He replaced the piping in the lift station and it now empties in half the time it used to take. The repairs took about 4 hours to complete
The 2nd issue was made worse after repairing the 1st. With the lift station emptying at the designed rate, it resulted in more pressure which confirmed there was a break in the connection between the lift station and the septic tank. I tried to delay the repairs until spring, but the water backflow was increasing and the smell getting worse.
I called Deric and he came on the same day, he assessed there were likely 2 breaks one at the outdoor tank and the other at the lift station in the garage as liquid was flowing into the garage.
Within a 4 days, Deric managed the mobilization and excavation around the septic tank and repaired the break. He then cut the garage floor and found and repaired the 2nd break. My system is now running extremely well with no more backflow of blackwater and the smell that comes with it.
I highly recommend Artic Effluent and Deric.

Late and disappeared after turning our heat off in 10 degree weather only to message they would be back. Never showed back up, didn’t answer calls or messages forcing us to spend more money by calling other plumbers. Do not recommend
