Replaced gas piping to bring to code.

I had another company come to my house prior to A Perfect Plumber, the company was A Brighter Glow. I had them come and service two fireplaces to make sure they were ready for use during the winter months. They did a shoddy job. Did not clean the glass properly and left what appears to to be mice droppings and poison (from previous owner) The gas main piping needed to be replaced according to code, so I had them quote for the job in addition to servicing my fireplaces. The quote was fair and came around $2000. After they left, the weather was warm, so we had no need to light the gas fire.
When the time came, we could not get one fire place to ignite. We did all the youtube videos, had competent friends come and advise...nothing. When I called and emailed the company, they said there would be another charge for coming out to light the fireplace. Now, I did not want it done instantly, but at their convenience when they were next in the area. But No. So, I went and got another quote for the bigger job.
A Perfect Plumber came in $10's less, so not a huge deal, but they came on time, were clean, courteous and efficient both for the quote and for the actual job. Once the gas line was done, they went to light the ignitor and seemed to have issues too. But, they fixed it and I now have a very nice clean and safe fireplace! Brighter Glow gets 1 star from me! A Perfect Plumber get 5 stars. The crew by the way were polite and not intrusive in my day, they worked hard all day without any fuss. Thanks guys.

Jason was amazing... it was around 5pm on Saturday night! We had been working all day on braking down our saltwater tank and had hooked up the hose to rinse it out. Water was shooting out everywhere so I decided that I better check the crawl space to make sure nothing was leaking. And boy am I glad I did. We had a puddle of water, but it wasn't all from the hose. Apparently our drainage pipe from our kitchen sink was cracked and had been leaking, for who knows how long into the crawl space! I immediately called a plumbing company and they couldn't get anyone to the house until Monday at noon, so I called another company and got the same answer. I saw Iron plumbing and thought well it's worth a shot and Jason answered! I explained the situation and he told me that he was in Brighton...we live in Littleton!..but he would head out to us as soon as he possibly could. I felt a wave of relief pour over me. I figured it was going to cost me an arm and a leg so I asked how much and his response was extremely reasonable and perfectly affordable. When he got here and found out that not only was the drainage pipe cracked in not just one spot but two, he also discovered our hose pipe had frozen and cracked also! He went right to work and he worked so hard! For hours! He had everything he needed to do the repairs. He was such a kind man and he really cared about us and our situation. He stayed well past midnight to ensure that we had the ability to have running water in the morning. He was very professional and extremely kind and generous...honestly we have been so stress doing a house remodel and breaking down a 90 gallon saltwater tank so we can get new flooring I really think I may have cracked if he hadn't come to rescue us! Thank you Jason! You did an amazing job for a very reasonable price! And we will always remember you coming to help us. We have your number on lock now and we definitely will be using your skills again.. if I could give you more than 5 stars I would.

He was here 45-mins to install a new kitchen sink faucet (basic install), faucet plate is crooked. $200 + $29 'service charge'.... store is <10-mins from my house. Never again.
