I've called on Above & Beyond Drains & Plumbing eight times.

Joe was there for me when my water heater broke down, when one toilet needed a new o-ring and a new water supply line, when another toilet needed a new water supply line and a new o-ring, when my kitchen faucet needed replacing, and the latest... the installation of a water filtration unit because I have hard water and my home was starting to lose water pressure.

[Please note, all these repairs occurred over a span of 4-5 years... not all at once.]

If you're counting, I lied... I've only called on Above & Beyond seven times. I began this review with eight because I am so confident in Joe and his work, that, should I need a plumber in the future, I will call Above & Beyond.

And I got water pressure back the same day Joe installed the water filtration unit.

I call them for an urgent water pipe burst in my attic. The plumber name Adam can out in a timely manner. I wasn't sure of the location of my water shut off valves in which he assistance finding.

Showed Adam the location of the repair and from the time he arrived to leaving was about 30 minutes. Job completed, leak check satisfactory and on he went. Also he even informed me about the difference of grade copper pipping.

Drain Medic has been troubleshooting a leak problem at my 88 year old mother's house and has gone above and beyond the call of duty to address the issues. They discovered 4 areas and fixed all promptly and at a reasonable price when not covered by insurance. They have thoroughly explained each step of the process to her and mostly likely saved her thousands of dollars when others wanted to rip open the walls and quoted her minimum $2600 to fix. Insurance has covered most of the expenses with Drain Medic handling everything. Cannot thank them enough for dealing honestly with the elderly and communicating clearly.

California plumbing is an incredible company. I have used Aaron and his crew for years for many different projects all around San Diego. They are well versed in many different plumbing situation in service and repair. The one project that sticks out for me is on my moms house. We had a terrible drain clog and aaron was able to come out and on a emergency call and clear the line with hydro Jett. After they cleared the line he used his sewer camera equipment to check the lines for any issues. Outstanding Job!!! my moms lives on Chula Vista. We always recommend California Plumbing !!!!!!!!!

I would never use this plumber. Their cost is twice as much. They would not discuss my options of using pex rather than copper and they would not explain why. I got specs from SDGE nad Steve told me SDGE did not know what they are doing. I beg to differ. Too much money. I always get three quotes. Don't over pay for plumbing. Bob the plumber is good, inexpensive and licensed. There system for getting quotes to you is outdated. They take too long to respond!
