Allow me to begin by saying, that I had NO idea that a PLUMBER was the professional to call to repair a gas leak. Long story short, we called Lyday Plumbing after smelling a gas leak in our home. The gas company shut off the gas to the entire house for obvious safety reasons. We were without gas heat or the ability to prepare food ( gas range) overnight. Matthew from Lyday Plumbing came out the next day and was able to isolate 3 separate leaks in our crawl space in the lines that lead to our gas fireplace. He shut the gas off to the fireplace in our crawl space so we could at least have the gas company restore gas to the rest of the house ( weather was dipping into the 30’s overnight). He was also able to provide a reasonable estimate of what it would cost to repair the lines. Matthew was very knowledgeable, personable and professional!
