If you are like me when it comes to repairs I am just used to opening my wallet and let myself be robbed because of not being mechanically inclined. I got three estimate for repair to my AC unit and was given a range of 3000 to 5500 dollars being told this was needed, that was needed and so on. So what the other repair places made seem like the end of the world turned out that just a minor repair was needed and the cost was minor. I was so relieved. Our house was built using Quest pipes (polybutylene known for deteriorating after 10-15 years), and a water heater in the attic.
A few weeks ago, after a flooded closet and insurance mess, we decided to have the house re-piped with something safer, more modern. We worked with RPG Construction following a referral from our neighbor, and they’ve been really great, reasonably priced, and do very solid work.
They specialize in plumbing, but also helped us with the other work we needed as a result of the re-pipe. It’s tough finding solid, trustworthy contractors right now so working with RPG was very refreshing.
