Let’s start with a big thank you! To Everyone in the office, thank you!! To the expert plumber Rich, there isn’t enough thank you’s In the world to give you! Your shovel was no bigger then my arm and you dug out several hundreds of square footage of dirt by hand! BY HAND!!! It’s hard to describe the amount of work Rich and his 2 different apprentices did (1 apprentice at a time). With several mountains of dirt, they managed to keep things neat, covered up, cleaned up, filled back in. What a HUGE job they had to do! Rich always kept me informed every day. He always let me know what steps needed to be done and made sure we were good with it.
After all this mess we not only gained a company we can trust with our home, but we gained some friends. We have had our lives as we knew it turned inside out. Insurance claims don’t come with instructions, but American Leak Detection as a whole helped us deal with one of the most difficult of insurance adjusters. Rich and the 2 young men that took care of the dirty work, definitely need more then a pat on the back! If I could give them a raise myself I would have!
I went back in this morning and you can’t even tell there was dirt from under my house in my house, they cleaned up and left no trace of dirt! I can’t say enough goodies about y’all! I could go on for days!

I'll give them a star for the correct installation of a bidet in my master bathroom but that's all. (backgrounda: this bidet installation is part of another bathroom renovation, where we bundled up some work and have the contractor include this bidet installation as part of the whole package). The date after finishing the installation of said bidet, we noticed scratches on the travertine floor, these are superficial scratches that if you're not looking directly at the floor you'll not notice them. After reporting these to the contractor, he asked me to report it directly to Custom Master Plumbing, which I did promptly. The supervisor, Gerardo, passed the message to the plumber  who gave me a call himself. The call went something like this... I didn't do it, I was wearing knee pads and all my toolboxes are made of plastic. Note: during the bidet installation the plumber was wearing knee pads and yes all their toolboxes were plastic, BUT they had tools directly on the floor and did not use any other protection over the travertine floor; they did use cardboard to protect the wood floor though. No explanation of how we use the bathroom seemed feasible to the plumber: we don't even wear shoes inside the house, we do not have any metallic objects in the bathroom area and most of the time we're either barefoot or wearing socks or slippers. Anyways the contractor then reported that Gerardo the supervisor fully trusts his guys and that Custom Master Plumbing would NOT take any responsibility for the scratches. In total, we have about seven (7) travertine tiles with scratches, all around the bidet and our contractor will try to get these scratches removed. With this kind of attitude towards responsibility, I do not recommend this company.
