They came to install my water softener & 5-stage RO filter system around april 2022. Quite expensive, as you expect from any plumber. Everything went fine, a small leak was reported the same day and it was fixed the next day.
A year later (now), when the time came to change the first 3 filters of the RO system, I set my self to do it, and I realized they got them in the wrong order: the filter of stage 1 (sediment filter) was swapped with filter of stage 3 (carbon filter). Nothing serious seemed to have happened and I hope won't happen because of this mistake, but only thing I can say is, be on top of your traders while working at your home, no matter how much they hate us home owners doing that. This is a very amateur mistake. The first stage of ANY-stage RO system is ALWAYS the sediment filter, and, needles to say, it was extremely clear in the installation manual.
