Ideal proposed a new heat pump and also found many problems in the existing system. They provided a thorough estimate, could answer all my questions, and showed how we could save money with their proposal. The workers all showed up on time, finished on time, and there were no extra charges. The system works well, as planned. I have been burned by HVAC companies in the past. The reason is simple. They do a good part of the job in your attic or roof and you cannot assess what they are actually doing. You have to trust the company. Ideal operates at very high ethical standards. If they might charge a little more, it is well worth it. If you go with a less trustworthy company, you may need to get the job done twice (due to errors) and pay a lot more.
