In the past, Carini provided outstanding service, which is why we used them. I'm sad to say that their service does not always meet the high standards they themselves previously set, but they are still among the best we've used for HVAC maintenance.

Background: Our condo HOA is using ProTec for repairs. I get the invoices and review them. They routinely charge for basic tools such as a hammer, nail puller, caulk gun, bucket, bottled water for the workers etc. etc. They keep the tools! They add a 30% handling fee to invoices from Home Depot, Dixieline etc. unless we give them an HOA credit card which we won't do. Work example: They used regular nails on a dry rotted exterior deck handrail and trim repair. Best practice is to use galvanized fasteners that don't rust through the paint. Very poor value for what amounts to handyman level work.
