After having Goettl plumbing come out last night and try to soak me for 3500to4000 dollars to remove a water purifying unit which was leaking all over my kitchen bottom sink. The bottom was caving in due to the water collection over a period of time. Trish from Roto-Rooter got Tony out right away. He removed unit..wiring..capped it and replaced floorboard after Jason the mitigation expert came out and inspected for mold and water damage thank God there wasn't any or very little no mold. I paid half of what the other company charged.After experiencing such devastation with the loss of family members and a son who took advantage of mom with dementia and took everthing in these tumultuous times I was so happy to have Roto-Rooter on my side.

I would give this company zeros stars. I been dealing with them since Oct 2018. One of the of the employees came to fix my tub they took out one cartridge and replaced it then sent another worker which was not the same guy as the first time. The second employee that came out broke the other cartridge then they sent another employee to fix the problem but then took out one of the metal siding from the porch roof to see if they could fix the problem through the out side and till this day the metal siding hasn't been replaced the maneger had to come out to fix all the mess but not my metal siding from the porch roof and still they replaced my cartridge and once it was fix. It turn out that was not the problem it was the whole tub faucet that needed to be replaced at that point I lost faith in them and just had to hire another license to contractor.

My home's basement flooded while I was doing laundry there. I highly recommend In House Plumbing. They came out for what is probably a pretty simple issue, a clogged sink, but for me it was a huge issue. They arrived when they said they would and quickly went to work. The issue was in the line away from the house, but it didn’t take long for them to get the clog cleared up and my sink working again. Once the job was done they cleaned up after themselves and were on their way. And all at a very affordable rate. I’m a small business owner myself and I like to use local small businesses when I can. I had them help my daughter out when she had and issue at her condo, and will continue to use them for any issues that might arise at my home.

The YES/Blue Apple AC technician suggested and drafted a proposal for repair - that my air conditioner was oxidizing and had daisy-chained condensers, causing an imbalance in my unit, causing it to overheat, and said it could shut down at any time. Any unit can shut down at any time. This tactic to scare me, the homeowner, was unsuccessful, as I have a family member come the next day, an HVAC technician who has been for 34 years in the valley double-check this new issue on this routine maintenance check. After inspecting the two condenser batteries in one unit and one condenser, or what I call batteries in the other, he explained that there was nothing wrong with the unit; he told me that this was just NOT TRUE. They both had equal and correct amperage and no need for concern. The brown on the fan motor at the top is normal as the units do heat, and that causes the paint on the motor head to brown. ALL units have some degree of discoloration. In other words, AC units are made to dis-spell heat which almost always causes paint to turn brown or peel. This resin is usually set by the high temperatures. Appliances with metal components are vulnerable to corrosion, especially if exposed to outdoor conditions; THIS IS NORMAL. This technician, LIKE SO MANY in our valley, was trying to UPCHARGE me. I suspect this is the sales model most electric, plumbing, and HVAC companies use to make money. No wonder they are willing to come to the house on a service agreement at no charge. But it didn't fool me, and Thank you; I will keep my $900 in my pocket!
Don't change out something that was never defective. IF IT IS NOT BROKEN, DON'T FIX IT. If your AC unit fan stops, turn off the AC and call a tech. If your compressor stops humming or changes sound, turn off your unit and call someone; if your AC is blowing warm, turn off your unit and call someone. STOP replacing parts that THEY TELL YOU WILL QUIT WORKING. Yes, your machines can stop anytime, but wait until they do; some last 15 years, some less. I have three HVAC services that I double-check each other because I was ripped as a single mom. I didn't want to inconvenience a family member. Now I do both, verify all recommendations made by family and other AC companies I have hired. Don't fall for this way of doing business. Be a savvy homeowner, especially single parents and older people. Good luck! All these pictures are normal wear and tear.
