The first time we asked them to quote a couple of small projects including a leak from the main water line, a clogged sink, and replacing a leaking outdoor spigot. Jerry and Marlin were my plumbers who were here to fix a leak coming from a radiator valve. Thankfully they were able to stop the leak without replacing the valve. It’s a recessed radiator that would have made valve replacement a much bigger job. They are two very knowledgeable and friendly gentlemen, highly recommend.

We've used them for everything from a new boiler to a clogged toilet. They are trustworthy, reliable, and efficient. Chris has rescued me on two separate occasions from potentially expensive HBAC problems by recommending only modest repairs. HORRIBLE. THE FIRST VISIT HE DID NOTHING EXCEPT CALL THE BOSS BILLY and then CHARGE $409. Next day Billy came hour late stayed less than two hours talked on his phone didn’t concentrate. After a day my boiler went out. Billy told me to call someone else. I did. New plumber said Billy forgot to turn water back on the boiler. I was horrified. I paid them $900. Then $350 to new plumber to fix their irresponsible work. Do not use them.

I contacted Harry from HBNY Plumbing to do the gas inspection for LL152. He scheduled me within the week and was on-time for the appointment. He was professional and efficient, and completed the inspection. He did point out some minor work needed to satisfy compliance of the inspection, which I did a few days later.
I was 100% satisfied with his work and his rate was very reasonable. I will definitely recommend him to others!

Although there was a large bottleneck in the kitchen, three guys were moving. Everyone did a great job and was very clear about when they would arrive. There aren't many things I can compare it to, but I believed the price was fair considering the amount of labour involved.

I would not use again. We had a leaking tap in the bath and our building management wouldn't take care of it and referred us to Fred Smith Plumbing. I booked an appointment in the morning for 1pm-3pm that day. At 3pm someone from Fred Smith rang acting like they were calling to book the appointment anew! I told them I had already booked an appointment and they acknowledged it but said they would REALLY/DEFINITELY come tomorrow. If booking it may we worth checking to see if it is a REAL appointment! At any rate, I didn't have time to find another plumber so agreed they could come the next morning. They only turned up 20 minutes late which was pretty good. After a quick inspection, they said it needed a spare part and they had to go across town to get it. Over an hour later the plumber returned with the part and replaced the part in about 15 minutes and declared it fixed. The total bill to stop a leaking tap: $429.72. Labor $248, part $146.60. PIus tax. I know this is Manhattan but I gotta think there is better out there. I will certainly be trying my luck with another provider next time.

We had gas shut off by National Grid. Paul and Chris showed up. They figured out the technical aspects very quickly, gave us a quote. The problem was fixed quickly. We passed both National grid and DOB inspections without any problems. Throughout the process, both Paul and Chris were true professionals. Very responsible, considerate and honest. It was truly a pleasure dealing with them.

Quick response they were able to have a plumber come out and install a new gas stove. The mechanic was quick and very nice.
