Walter from Roto Rooter arrived promptly, with a truck full of tools. He was knowledgeable, explained the process, and provided an upfront estimate. Price was fair (not great but not his fault). Walter commenced working right away, he wore a mask and gloves throughout the entire process. Job was lot harder than either Walter or I expected, and he had to rely on his expertise and 20 years experience in order to figure out how to resolve the Sewer main line issue. Walter remained calm and dedicated. It took over four hours to fix the unecpected blockage problem (large thick rubber hub) but Walter was able to, and explained the issues and process every step of the way. A true professional!Job well done, thank you Roto Rooter and thank you Walter.Recommended.

Phil Smith, our technician, showed up when he said he would, handled our flooded basement with a cheerful attitude despite the dire circumstances, and finished the job in a timely manner. We were so impressed with his work that we had him check out our sprinklers as well. Knowing what to do when you discover sewage water in your basement is a comforting feeling. Found Jack on Thumbtack and I am so glad I did!! He came to our rescue one early morning in under an hour from connecting with him via the app (he was able to squeeze us in). I first hired him to fix our toilet and he figured out the issue in no time! Since he did such a great job, we hired him to come back and fix our leaky faucet which he handled quickly. I’ve dealt with many plumbers in the past and no one has done as great a job as he has nor have they been as efficient, forward thinking, professional, or respectful as he’s been. He also took the time to cleanup after himself which hardly ever happens.

I don’t have a super so whenever things break down I have to scramble to find someone. I’m happy to say I found my go to guy who is incredibly reliable. He even makes himself available via text if you have any questions about your issue.
For example, I needed to replace my faucet, so he sent me some Amazon links of a couple of models he thought were great options that didn’t break the bank!

I booked an appointment a week ago and called to confirm it in the morning. After confirming the appointment at 8:30 a.m., the company emailed me at 10:30 to say they wouldn't be able to make it. I took the day off from work. According to the person I spoke with, they are an emergency based business so this happens! I would not recommend.
