In the last 8 years I’ve spent close to $25k having my heating system tinkered with by various plumbing companies who gave contradictory solutions to the lack of consistent heat in my 4 story townhouse. They refuse to give you any idea over the phone of their repair costs or ballpark estimates for standard repairs even in buildings that they are contracted with. So you have to schedule an appointment to know what their hourly rates are. That means that for someone with a full time job you’ll probably need to schedule twice with them even for a simple repair. If you’re retired or work from home I guess that’s fine. But in the modern world, that greedy policy no longer makes any sense.

They use up ther employees for 5 months then fire them before givin them any benefits
