We are a restaurant in east village and our water heater broke. These guys came and replace it right away. 5 stars for them.

Good work, Too expensive!

The first time we asked them to quote a couple of small projects including a leak from the main water line, a clogged sink, and replacing a leaking outdoor spigot. We contacted them after being scammed by another company over a water leak. Joelle promptly identified the issue, provided a fair quote, and returned to fix the pipes. Before he could get out and fix it, he gave us two options to choose from and helped me understand how to essentially Band-Aid it. He was helpful, forthright, and totally professional; we will definitely hire them again if necessary.

Given that it was a Saturday, we were appreciative of the reasonable prices. We'll make sure to maintain their phone number on hand!

NYC Emergency Plumber & Sewer arrived, found the obstruction in my floor drain, and scoped the pipes to check that everything was in working condition. They were wonderful to work with and quite professional. They are excellent, and I would employ them again.

I had a couple of issues that needed fixing/investigating. One was that my washing machine didn't have hot water. The guy broke my drain pan moving the machine out and then just said I need a new box. He did not attempt to disconnect it or clean it (which might have solved the problem. ) I bought a new water leak sensor and asked them to install it. Gateway said that would cost $1500. I already paid $490 for the initial visit. Even though it would only take an hour or two, they said they charge for 4 hours regardless and that they are $350/hour. I hired a task rabbit to do it for $160 instead.

AWFUL!! The guy was very unprofessional and walked away before even beginning to help us. He literally said 'figure it out yourself'
