At 5pm, Plumbing NYC answered the phone and put me in touch with the master plumber who said he could be at my apartment within 50 minutes – and was. The plumber had the materials to fix the toilet and finished the job in minutes. He was friendly, courteous and thorough -- and checked my second bathroom for free.

The gentlemen were so professional I will call the company back to do more work. I am now proud to say I have a plumbing company that I can share with anyone who needs plumbing work. Thank you

I've left multiple voice messages with this company after they overcharged me for a basic plumbing issue. Their original work was poorly done, caused a leak and a potentially dangerous electrical issue that we had to call another company to handle. I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company as I still haven't heard back from them.

They only seem to have an answering service but it's been impossible to talk to an actual person to deal with any customer service or billing issues.

Handymen from the company replaced interior and exterior doors for us. They gave me a timeline and kept to the schedule. I won't hesitate to use them again in the near future.

Extremely unprofessional; the plumber never showed up and repeatedly lied and said he was on his way. The Bright Star Plumber dispatcher also lied and said they were sending another plumber when one NEVER came, resulting in four hours of my time being wasted. I finally called Roto Rooter and they sent a highly professional and very competent plumber right away, who did an AMAZING job.
