I've been with Natco and later Aladdin for over 20 years. I am always satisfied with the work done by Aladdin. Whether it is a clogged drain or a new hot water heater, Aladdin is prompt, courteous, and efficient. The job is done right the first time. They've never tried to sell me something I didn't need, and if a simple repair will keep the unit running for another year, they will do it.

I’ve been going to the Eastside Quality Cleaners to get my clothes tailored for years, ever since I moved to East Village. The shop’s kind seamstress does a GREAT job tailoring my cloths - she’s meticulous, skilled w/ quick turnarounds - AND at a rate that is way below market. Over the years, she’s probably altered 30 pieces for me, ranging from $5 to $30 (when my wedding dress needed alterations done on the bottom- normally it’d be $200). I’m so glad I’ve found this place!

I came upon HBNY Plumbing & Heating's website on Google after the plumbing company I had an appointment with today cancelled for the second time. I spoke with Harry personally and he gave me an appointment for this evening. He came on time and he explained everything about the new Local 152 inspections.
He explained the report he would be filing and gave me pointers on what I can do to protect my gas lines.
The fact that he made an appointment the same day I called, the price was reasonable, he was on time, and explained everything, made me feel more at ease with the process.

Quick response they were able to have a plumber come out and install a new gas stove. The mechanic was quick and very nice.

I was my family's home in Astoria and noticed JP and his crewmembers working on a nearby sewage job on 30th avenue - because they were already in the area, I asked them for a quote to see how much it would cost to upgrade our water main. I was so surprised that they gave such a great / competitive price, especially since I just walked up to them without any consultation. So of course i said yes, and they quickly confirmed a time and day and everything was completed that day - very fast! It was excellent service (both customer service and workmanship) and not only did they complete the job quickly, but they worked swiftly and very clean.. I've had instances where workers would act as if they're bulls in a china shop and just knock/break everything that in their path... that is NOT these guys - JP and crew were fantastic and I would definitely recommend them to others.

I called several plumbers for a water heater replacement. Some weren't able to do the work for a couple days and some never returned my call. So I came across Vuksani and spoke to Edison. Explained what had happened and asked if it could be done ASAP. He came out the next day and replaced my water heater. And on top of that, he was a great guy. I've used this company twice now, and I have to say that they are the best! They are fast, efficient, and reasonably priced. The technician who came out was knowledgeable and professional. He knew what he was doing and was able to answer all of my questions without making me feel dumb for asking them. I will most definitely be using them again in the future!

My COOP had John from 72F at our steam-heated building to address some noise and over heating problems, we’ve been dealing with for years. He has a better understanding of how these systems work than the other so-called “experts” we have had tried to resolve the problem. He emailed us instructions of how we will need to fix the issue and gave out Super some unsolicited advice on how best to manage the system to prevent the problem from occurring again. We manage Not only were 72F’s fees reasonable but we were left with a sense of professional trust that is hard to find in the service industry today.

I wanted to use Gateway, what a disappointment. Called last week on Monday, someone named Anthony returned my call on the same day, he said they were closed due to the president’s day holiday, but that someone would call me on Tuesday. He mentioned that my service would be expensive because of the style boiler that I have, but he could not give me an estimate, but assured me that someone in the office would call me the following day. Tuesday came & went, no call. Wednesday, nothing again. Thursday I called & spoke with a woman who answered the phone. I told her what had happened, she said she would call me back, no apology or anything. Yeah.... I will let you guess...yep, never heard from them. How do people do that?

NEVER USE! I wish I could give negative stars. This company is a complete disaster and will bring disaster to you. No one in the company including the owner is a licensed plumber and they have inadequate equipment. I had continuous sewage flooding for three weeks, very upsetting. They came (always hours late), did a partial job, and never honored a warranty. They told me I had various problems which necessitated breaking up the floor, eager for the money.

New plumbing company—real—solved the problem in five minutes.
