Best Repair Water Heaters in Los Angeles CA

Sorry, but after repeated calls, I got no response regarding making plans to have a new water heater installed. They installed our last one and were great, and wanted to offer them repeat business, not in an emergency, but still somewhat urgently. During COVID, plumbing services are still essential services and are allowed to conduct regular business. To not even return phone calls for days or not at all is just not the responsiveness I expect from a business where I'm trying to give them repeat business worth hundreds of dollars. The inconvenience of having to find a reliable, trusted alternative is annoying, when this would have been a win-win situation. If they have that much business that they can ignore new business from returning customers, good for them, but to ignore our new offer is not OK; I'm not going to beg to be their repeat customer. You pay a vendor not only for the charges of the work done, but also by giving them the opportunity to do the work in the first place, and being ignored is cavalier and inappropriate.

We had a leak under our kitchen sink due to the connectors between the pipes and the p-trap, as well as the pipes themselves, simply being old. We had another (large corporate) plumbing group come out and give us an astronomical and unreasonable price estimate for the fix, along with a big timeline in which it could get done. Uncertain, we decided to call someone else for a second opinion, and are so glad we did! Not only did Flood Brothers come in at a much more reasonable and realistic estimate, and give us the estimate for free (the other guys charged us just for the estimate, no work done at all), Tony was professional, punctual, and honest about what really needed to be done. He was able to fix the leak and replace the pipes the next day in about an hour (much faster than the other company had said they could do it). His work was neat and he cleaned up everything spotless afterward. And he fixed more than the others had offered to fix at a fraction of the cost! He was very polite and answered all questions knowledgeably and professionally. We were so impressed, and plan on using Flood Brothers for all of our plumbing needs in the future from now on! We're so glad we found you! Plus, we are so happy to be supporting a local, family business.

Just fantastic. The plumbing issue we encountered was unique and difficult to diagnose, so it took several visits to resolve. Despite this, the entire team was professional, responsive, and respectful. The way in which they assessed and resolved the problem was thoughtful and skillful. They did an excellent job of cleaning up after they did the repair in a timely manner. Over 35 years of owning homes and dealing with plumbers, this team has exceeded all expectations. We highly recommend them!!

The plumber arrived on time , and introduced himself and then got straight into the job of replacing the shower.

Thank goodness I found Ralph when the pipe burst under my kitchen sink. Water was everywhere. I don't know much about plumbing, but somehow he fixed the pipe in about 40 minutes. Called and he came out in three hours. Reasonable price for such responsive service.

Very impressed by comprehensive and high-quality services rendered by Plotke Plumbing. My condo needed overhaul remodeling before leasing out: carpeting, hardwood and tile replacement, painting, electric and plumbing works were needed. It could have been very challenging, costly and time-consuming if I had to hire each vendor. When I consulted my needs with Plotke, they said they can take care of them all. They contacted respective vendors, coordinated and managed their work. The duration was about 3 months and the cost was amazingly reasonable. See attached for how my condo looks like now. My mother had property with three houses on it. We’ve used Kessler for decades. Always upfront and straightforward with their quotes. Honest assessment of when their technicians will get there. Very professional. Now that mom is gone, I will continue using Kessler! They are family to me!

During Covid and my mother faced a huge bathroom clog. Mr Speedy came out fully guarded! and fixed the issue at no time. Excellent plumbing service, if you need a plumber who does the job and give you an honest quote , i highly recommend Mr Speedy plumbing West Hollywood. hopefully we wont have any clogs, but if I need any plumbing service to be done by a professional i will call them. stay safe guys!

The workers were on time and were able to repair my shower faucet. They also found out that my property did not have a water regulator and they fixed that also. The workers were very professional and did a great job. I highly recommend them!

Ernesto was awesome. He was very accommodating to the slight emergency I had and came very quickly and got the job done past supper time! He guarantees his work also, which only adds to his willingness and ability to get the job done in such short notice and odd hour on a Saturday. This is a quality plumber and person as well. Craig was incredibly quick, responsive, and came right away. He was super informative and saved me a lot of money by showing me how to fix the shower head rather than replace it. Showed up on time. Highly rec.

Richards Rooter and Plumbing has great reviews but my experience was disappointing. First, it was $250 to even come to our apartment building (which would then be applied towards the repair.) Then it was $750 (so an additional $500) to cut open the wall and find the leak, even though I correctly identified where the hot water pipe was leaking based on feeling a warm spot on the wall.

Richard suggested a temporary clamp for another $500 (though he said it’d be free if it didn’t work) and coming back to fix it the next day (it was 2:30pm). I asked if it could just be fixed today and had to leave for an appointment and he set about cutting open more of the wall to see the extent of the corrosion. By the time I came back at 4:30pm, he’d put on the temporary clamp which didn’t fully stop the leak (still requesting $500 for it) and said he could fix it at 9am for $2000 with the clamp $500 going towards it (so $1500 more).

I felt like the charges were really high, especially since water was still leaking into the units below. The way Richard seemed more focused on getting paid than actually fixing the leak made me feel like he was taking advantage of the situation and didn’t seem to care about water dripping into people’s homes.

Later that evening, another resident called their own plumber unbeknownst to me and had him fix the leak that night (for $600). I texted Richard as soon as I learned of this so as not to waste his time and he got a little salty, texting things like “And we have a contract if that means anything to you” even though he only wrote an estimate for the repair.

All in all, Richard was available, communicative, and showed up when called, but he was ineffective, expensive, and then snarky when he didn’t get his way. He couldn’t fix two pinhole leaks (even temporarily) for $1250. He would have charged an additional $1500 to do a job that someone else did for $600. I only hope my experience informs others.

Prompt n fair prices for basic plumbing need

WORST experience with a plumber ever. Did not pull the permit that we told EZ Roth plumbing that we needed for an inspection with the city of Los Angeles. Costing us a lot of money in re inspection fees. After we paid another contractor to pull the permit and 3 months after the furnace was installed EZ Roth plumbing finally pulled a permit because they knew they could not get paid without it and of course at this point it was useless as we already had to pay the other contractor to pull the permit so we could finally pass our inspection. When EZ Roth plumbing installed the furnace it was failing to light because the installer had bentdamaged the pilot light. I had to fix it. Rude and Unprofessional.

Very unprofessional and inconsiderate people. I had an appointment with them took time off work to wait but they never showed up. What ‘s worse is that they did’nt even call. Called them several times but only answering machine so left messages but they never returned my calls. Please don’t use this company they dont deserve your business there are a lot more small business that deserve your patronage

Woke up to 4 inches of water in my house. Super Ninja Justin showed up and saved the day! It was a big job and Justin did not leave until all the work was completed. Justin was so professional and courteous. There really are not enough words to express how amazing Justin is, he takes pride in his work and it shows. Will never use another plumber!
