They want $18,000 to install two new replacement units. Ok… surprised with that crazy price, I look the units I currently have installed up and Home Depot Carry’s them for $832.27 plus tax and installation. The guy was clear it could be done in one day no problem. So somehow, for one day of work… they wanna charge me roughly $16,000 for labor. Let’s say $15,000 cause maybe they somehow need $1000 in parts. Needless to say, that’s ridiculous. Oh, and charged $79 to come and give me a horrible estimate with some crazy made up figures.
