1/13/22 Derrick Vizcarrondo from Abacus came out to do our fall HVAC Work inspection. He was very friendly and efficient and provided us with some options for upgrades with estimates. My wife and I really like Abacus, third technicians are always top notch!5/9/22 had David Jiles from Abacus check out an issue with our HVAC. A couple of sharp sheet metal screws were protruding from the HVAC cabinet from work that was previously done. David quickly snipped off the ends of those screws and added some insulation around the gas line where it enters the cabinet. Really great service and Abacus as a company is very responsive, can’t recommend them more highly.5/8/22 Updating my review as Google won’t let you submit a review for a company you’ve already reviewed. I recently had a new gas range installed and the installer told me I didn’t have a gas shut off valve in the kitchen. So I called Abacus to have a plumber come out and install one. Eddie Pollack came out and it turns out I do have a gas shut off valve in a bottom cabinet. Eddie was very helpful and not only helped me find the gas shut off valve but also checked out my water heater and water pressure all for no charge! Abacus is a great company that goes the extra mile to make sure its customers are well taken care of and if you need a plumber, ask for Eddie Pollack, he’ll do you right!Ismael Martinez and his partner did an awesome job replacing my HVAC Plenum and some ductwork and installing a new Halo air purifier and cleaning the air ducts. Both men were very efficient and friendly and a credit to Abacus. So far nothing but positive experiences with our Abacus technicians.My apologies to Nik Cook. I accidentally overwrote the review I had previously left for him so I will try and recall what I had written. I cannot recommend Nik more highly. During an HVAC inspection, he found mold in our Plenum and ductwork that the company I previously used (Stan’s A/C) had missed for years. He also found that the water heater Stan’s installed 2 years ago had not been installed correctly which could have caused us to succumb to carbon monoxide poisoning. Fortunately this issue has since been resolved.In short, Abacus is an awesome company that employees great people. It’s not always your best day when something goes wrong with your home’s HVAC, plumbing or electrical, but having a company like Abacus available with courteous and competent technicians available to tackle your issues gives me confidence that no matter what goes wrong, Abacus can get ‘r done.

Fox had been our home maintenance company for many years. We had our AC/Heat Pump go out right as the severe 2021 winter storm was coming on. The roads were snowed in and we lost water for six days and power for three days. The first day that the road was passable to our house they had a crew in to repair the broken water pipes and the very next day they sent in a crew with a new Lennox Heat Pump system for us. They were here by 9:30AM and done before 4. They laid tarps down everywhere they worked and cleaned the areas thoroughly when done. The only way that we knew they were there was from the system working quietly and flawlessly. We've found that they aren't always the least expensive on bids from some of the competition, but they are fair, thorough, reliable, and very, very professional. We're happy with the purchase and the price. They stand by their work and we're very grateful to them for their efforts to take care of our water and heating needs during this time. We highly recommend Fox for heating/AC and other home service needs.

Completely satisfied with the service. Yesterday my air conditioning stopped cooling, it was very hot so I went to turbo, in less than 3 hours Carlos, who was very kind and efficient. He ran a full diagnostic and fixed what was wrong, the filter, in this case. It was a very efficient and immediate service, very grateful to Carlos and turbo for their work.

Called in late July to get a quote on a commercial ac unit. I was on the schedule for the start of August. After several calls by myself over the past two weeks being told that I would need to talk to the commercial tech about what was found and waiting for this person to call, today I was informed that the tech never went out to the job and canceled the service call. Reps in the office not able to tell me what the reason was. If I could take the one star away I would.
