True Tech Home Services

I recently had True Tech Home Services come look at an electrical issue I had in my home. They made 2 visits, one on 07/17/2017 and one on 07/22/2017. I was charged $89 and $366, respectively, just to analyze the problem. The technicians said they found 4 shorts in the wall and they'd have to cut into the wall to replace the wiring. They quoted me at over $2200 (in addition to the $455 I had already paid) and that didn't even include the cost to repair the wall once they were done. Long story short, that seemed a little fishy to me, so I contacted the original electrician. He found their report to be completely fallacious. There were no shorts in the wall, the voltage they reported was completely inaccurate, etc. He had the problem resolved in a matter of minutes. He even took a video to show True Tech's report was completely bogus!
I'm currently in the process of disputing the charged on my credit card.
I very highly recommend staying away from True Tech Home Services!

I have used True Tech Home Services for over five years. I have used all of their services, electrician, plumber, a/c and heat, and handyman/repairs, and have been highly satisfied each and every time! They are extremely courteous over the phone and always schedule the needed service promptly. All of the technicians do excellent work, always arrive at the scheduled time, and are neat, courteous, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend their excellent service to all of my friends.

I bought a coupon for a $59 dryer vent cleaning and the manager called me almost immediately to set up the appointment. The two people who came out did a great job and replaced a bad vent tube (the tube that goes from the dryer to the vent). I also got a monitor that will alert me when the vent needs to be cleaned. They were very friendly and professional. I was very surprised by the high price of the metal vent tubing though. I could have purchased the same tubing for about a fifth of the price. In all, the bill was $188 for a monitor and a small piece of tubing. (in addition to the $59 for the vent cleaning). Good professional work though! I was impressed by their cleanliness and professional demeanor.

My question is, what happens when you’ve purchased a whole new ac unit from a company, new ducts installed, everything (less than a year ago) with warranty, and said company goes ghost. It’s now May, and said ac unit is no longer working, but TrueTech no longer exist, to rectify the situation. They were good enough to take our money, but not professional enough to give us a heads up about going out of business. So now we’ll be out of pocket even more money, after entrusting our home with Aaron and this company. Perfect!

I purchased a coupon for an electrical inspection and $50 repair from Angie's list. I found everyone that I spoke to during the scheduling and home appointment to be very pleasant and professional. Roger was my electrician and he did a great job. He was able to answer all of my questions about the wiring in my older home. He also replaced a damaged light fixture. I would definitely use True Tech again for electrical repairs and I will call them with my plumbing and air conditioning problems as well.

We have done business with True Tech for the past 3 years. They have provided excellent service for our home. We have replaced everything from the heating system, hot water tank, and air conditioner. Each peice of equipment needed replacing and the pricing was so much less than the other businesses we researched. Maintenance is scheduled and performed on a regular basis and we are totally satisfied with the service received. The office staff and technicians are alway professional and courteous. I would recommend this company to anyone who's looking for the best prices and service.

Absolutely amazing! This company has treated us so very well. Great techs in all departments. They are fast and efficient. We never have to wait for an appt. Their work is top rate, extremely affordable and guaranteed for life. I highly recommend them to anyone. If you are using True-Tech, then you are missing out on greatness and I bet you are being overcharged, like I was, for years.

The service was great, the individual that came out was very courteous and did great work. I am a quite disappointed at what I ended up paying however. I was horribly busy at work and just didn't have time to research Water Heater costs, so I trusted that I was getting an acceptable deal on the replacement. I payed $2,500 (installed) for what I found to be a ~$500-700 water heater (available at Lowes or Home Depot online), so I guess the roughly 3 hour install cost over $1,500? I was told the install was a flat fee, and not dependent on the length of time it took. I'm pretty disappointed in how expensive this ended up being, and despite the great work and courteous service I don't think I will be a repeat customer.

Once again True Tech has come to our rescue! On the hottest day yet of 2015, our air conditioner died. Thanks to Julie, whose how may I brighten your day? begins a positive experience, to Ted who worked until 9:30 p.m. guiding us through the processes, we were cooled off by the following evening. True Tech is a fast, thorough, honest, dependable and economical service provider. They are the best!

I love the way I know the total price before they began working on my Air Conditioner. I hate surprises and I don't feel comfortable with someone changing the price after they have started the work. TrueTech gave me the complete price up front. They worked hard for several hours and I haven't had a problem since. I never take time to write reviews, but I was so impressed with the people and the service that I felt the need to write a review.

This is by far one of the worst companies I have ever had to deal with, right up there with bank of america. I don't usually write reviews but this is how bad they are. First off, they charged my $700.00+ dollars to fix something the city could have fixed of free. Like and idiot I signed up for there $26.99 plan to get a discount if I needed them again. They promised free inspection and quite honestly I didn't want them at my house because I felt that would screw with something or tell me something was wrong when it wasn't. I had an agreement with Stephanie that after one year my contract would expire for the monthly subscription. She also told me that all of the subscriptions expire at the end of the year. Their new Manager, Sabrina, told me that Stephanie doesn't work there anymore and that agreement would not be honored. I sent a cancellation agreement but apparently it never made it and I'm charged yet again for a service I never use. Most businesses would cancel the contract. I hope people read these reviews and stay away from their shenanigans. I'm half tempted do drive down there and give them a piece of my mind. AS FOR THE POSITIVE REVIEWS TRUTECH OBVIOUSLY WRITES THEM THEMSELVES. NOTICE HOW THEY ARE SHORT AND SWEET.

I just had to have Tru-Tech come out to my home for a plumbing problem. I am so impressed with their professionalism and honesty. I actually thought the problem could only be fixed with thousands of dollars and to my surprise it was just a $120 fix. I recommended them to my brother and he had a similar great experience. Thanks to customer service as well for following through with calling to schedule when they told me they would.

One phone number, three services. Fast easy scheduling. Josh was early. How often do you see that form any service guy? The work quality was excellent. We will definitely be using True Tech again.

1st tech on day 1 showed up 1 1/2 hours late (after dispatch called and said they would arrive), stating they didn't have equipment on hand to drop 3 network cables. Said they needed a toner. You need a fish line, ladder, and punch tool folks. They took pictures and rescheduled for the next day at 10am. 2nd tech arrived 30 minutes early, unannounced (this place is a business and the rooms were blocked out. We had to make provisions (seeing how this should have been done on day 1). They said they would walk of the distance and bring a proposal AND need to go get the equipment - They had no idea 1st tech took pictures or that he had been here. 2nd tech smelled of a carton of cigarettes! They were walking around a very professional office space, causing everyone to ask what and why they were here smelling up my clients office. They were to drop 3 network cables, total distance of 50' for 1st, 125' for the 2nd and 3rd lines. Their quote for this was $89 for the service call, and $1580 for the dropping of 3 lines. We sent them away and called another company.. The other company showed with tools, ladder, and cable in HAND. Charged us $120 per drop plus $89 service call.. People, it doesn't cost $500 to run 1 cable! -- I will never use them again, for anything. OWNER OF THE COMPANY - THOSE REVIEWS FROM GOOGLE USER are because they were posted BEFORE google made a fundamental change to their posting system, and the older reviews will NOT show their user name. Customer beware, those are honest posts. My client would like their $89 back - service call was (originally on the 19th, but the tech JOE showed on the 20th) - The other company that we called AFTER your over priced quote, charged us $120 per drop + $89. They didn't give a break on the price, they just have a proper price for their service.. good luck.

Horrible customer service. On the day my A/C went out, I called at 10am. They said tech would be there between 1 and 3 and they’ll call when he’s in route. After hearing nothing, I call them back at 3:05. While they didn’t say, it seems no record was made of that conversation as they needed all of my info again and they acted generally confused. They now said tech would be there between 5 and 6. After hearing nothing again, I called them at 6:05. They did have a record of my previous call, just said the tech was busy, and should be there soon. At this point I had lost all confidence in their business and called Advanced Air Specialist. They had a tech there in 45 minutes and charged the same fee as True Tech even though it was now after-hours due to True Tech’s mistake. I lost a whole day of work due to True Tech.

On many occasions, my house and I have benefited from the expertise and experience of True Tech Home Services in the fields of plumbing, heating & air, and electrical.

They have always been on time, professional, answered questions in laymen's terms, and resolved whatever the issues were.

I plan to continue doing business with them and look forward to their help with future problems and projects.

We recently had a sewer line repair job done. It took four days to complete. Four days with no water. Four days showering outside the comfort of home. The crew tied in 3 pipe to 4 pipe coming out of the house. The pile of dirt where the trench was dug is over a foot high in some places and is filled with old pieces of concrete and sewer pipe. I have two kids and a pet that play in the backyard. The plumber said this was loose fill but could have easily been compressed or tamped down by the backhoe with minimal effort. A section of our back fence that was removed for the repair was left crumpled up in the corner of the yard. There is also a section of old water line that was discovered during the four day dig that was left sticking out of the ground. When this was pointed out, one of the crew said that it would be taken care of and just tried to step on it to put it back in the ground. I feel that these things pose a hazard and should have been taken care of while the crew was here. Times given for the crew to arrive each day were never kept. I took off of work on Monday because I was told work would begin on that morning. NO ONE SHOWED UP UNTIL 5:30 pm. There are two lengths of 3 PVC pipe left in the backyard as well. My family pays money every month and has for years for the True Tech Service Plan. I would expect this to afford us a little bit of added effort on jobs performed. The individual members of the crew were polite and courteous, but the state of the finished job site does NOT reflect the cost of repairs or the money paid.

Beware of their contract!!! They act like that their contract will save you lots but it actually is more of a headache than any sane person should face. Canceling the contract should be as easy as calling then receiving the canceling form but not with this company they give you the runaround for months saying that they mailed it, before finally emailing you but instead of doing what a normal company does they send the email without any subject so it goes directly into the spam, plus you can't find it in your email since their email address is not @ true tech. So, again I say beware of the contract.
Additionally, their services are higher so shop around even if it is an emergency, i.e. no water, no heat, no cool air!

I called about a back up line. True Tech said, that because local and close (within one mile) the service call would only be $45. When the plumber showed up, he wanted to charge me $350. I didn't use them, but they still charged me $40.

We have been a TTSP members for a couple years. They have come to the rescue multiple times on weekends and on holidays and they recently replaced our furnace at a great price. Thank you. We are happy customers.

Great until about a half a year ago. Once their long time office manager Sabrina left, they have had a slew of incompetent people in and out the door. We are monthly subscribers and have been so upset about their unreliability, unprofessionalism and lack of customer service offered lately. One day they said they'd arrive around 1pm, only to hear from them at 3pm to say he was at an open field with no house. Obviously the person could not even write down the street right! Then they said he had driven all the way back to MWC before reporting this, so we had to wait for another hour until he'd be back in Norman. He did not end up arriving until 7pm! We waited and wasted the whole day waiting for him. Now, this last time, I called the day before I wanted service and they guaranteed someone would be out the next day around 4pm. At 6pm they called saying no one was coming and that they could come the next day. I had already told them I worked the next day and needed it that day. Useless and money wasted. I will never use them again.

Josh came out for a Hague water system and tankless for my house. He was very professional and knowledgable about his product and field. They are a great company and we will use them again and again.

THANK YOU! Our AC stoped blowing air around 6 pm. We called 2 other companies that gave us the run around at 2 AM they had both said neither could come out. We tried to survive the night and I finally couldnt take it. We called and within 1 hour of the tech being called he was here and had figured out what happened. Thank you so much! Sleeping with a newborn is not ideal without AC. You guys saved us!

This place is a SCAM. They wanted to change me $1000 to FIND the problem and the second thing that came out of the tech's mouth was HOME OWNERS INSURANCE. They just want to know how much $$$ they are going to get. The tech thought it was necessary to talk to me like I'm 3 since I'm female. Well, this is one female they didn't scam. RUN FAR AWAY!!!

Aaron and his crew have always been prompt for all my appointments. He is most knowledgeable tradesman I have worked with. I recommend him without hesitation.

I think Brandon did great. He's been down her twice in the last two or three weeks, and he's done a great job each time. You guys really do a good job overall, and we really appreciate knowing where you guys are and that we can use you anytime.

I specifically asked them to come to my house and charge my A/C unit; nothing more. Instead, he spent an hour looking for reasons not to. He literally found dozens of things to repair that were not the issue, and then said those things had to be fixed first. Not true! The unit was charged by a qualified tech the very next day with no strings attached. Stay away from this group!

The electrician was a professional. He Arrived on time . Corrected the problem with little down time.I subscribe to True Tech;s yearly service. I had accumulated enough points to save $200.00. Can't beat that. Thank you True Tech

I called these guys and asked for someone to come get my Generac Generator started. They showed up within 15 minutes and did just that. Thank you guys for the fast and friendly service.

Quick, correct service. Came out quickly and repaired problem created by electric company which they didn't own up to (yet). All working well. Reasonable charges.
