Excellent service and professional craftsmanship.

New to the area, we have counted on Murray for both electric and plumbing services. We called after talking to neighbors and reviewing users. The high compliments are not exaggerated. They are always courteous and efficient. Folks at the office are professional yet personable and communicate amicably. Do give them a call.

When I called to have a GFI outlet replaced, that is exactly what I told them I needed. When electrician came out he brought a new GFI outlet and proceeded to change it out. He was very prompt and nice. I ask for a breakdown of charges. I was charged a diagnostic fee, when he never even got his equipment out of tool box!! I will not be referring this company. I will also call the home office regarding this charge. Update 7/6/23:
After speaking with the accounting department, they will send a refund via mail for the diagnostic fee.

Technician was kind, but after installation of ceiling fan it wobbled a lot and he said its normal. Then, for getting a longer rod and installation was almost $600. Bad quality and way over price from them initially telling me $89. DO NOT RECOMMEND COMPANY AT ALL!

We needed our casing replaced at the base of our toilet which was leaking. Called this morning and they came out this afternoon. It was quick and easy! Brian Sager fixed it and did a great job! Thank you!

We had an emergency and I looked everywhere and all the companies said sorry we are booked on emergencies u til next week or tomorrow maybe. My sister told me to call Murrays and wow the lady on the phone was super sweet and compassionate! She told me Joel would be right over. It was 7:30am! They were quick and they didnt charge me after hours amount. They charged me the same that another company charged me. He offered to wear a mask even though he was vaccinated! He kept wiping his feet off before coming in even though my carpet was destroyed from previous damage. Joel was so sweet i cant get over how fast courteous amazing and perfect he was! Lester showed up promptly after hours to do an emergency plumbing repair for me. He was very efficient and thorough. He took the time to explain my options then proceeded with his work. We could have had some major damage if not for his efforts. I highly recommend Lester. He was the best.

Said they would be here at 8am-8:30am and didn’t show till 11am. Charged $440 for plastic drain under the sink, soaked the cabinet, and a left the drain clogged with water standing in the sink. If he was a manager he needs to work on his customer service skills and not argue with customers. Did not attempt to address the other two issues we called about either.

We have an old 1948 farmhouse we bought. Had old two wire wiring. We first upgraded the old 60A service panel to a 200A and these guys did it so nice and neat we got a quote on doing a rewire. They were literally HALF of a major electric company out of Tulsa and it’s for the exact same project (whole home rewire, new outlets and switches. They moved outlets to correct locations. They were accommodating to put things in certain places I asked. Jordan and his crew are top notch and I’d recommend them for anything electrical. Positive attitudes and easy to work with.

This review is long overdue but it has been about a month now since My husband and I, hired Murray and I’m still mortified. So here we go I recently had the unfortunate experience of hiring Murray to handle a plumbing issue in my home, and I must say that it was an absolute disaster. Their service was subpar, and I strongly advise against hiring them for any plumbing needs.
First and foremost, the communication with Murray was abysmal. It took multiple attempts to get a hold of them, and even when I did, their response time was extremely slow. I had to constantly follow up and remind them about the scheduled appointment, which was frustrating and showed a lack of professionalism.
When the plumbers finally arrived, their incompetence became apparent. They seemed ill-prepared and lacked the necessary tools to properly diagnose and fix the problem. One of the technicians also said he was in charge of Murray plumbing and I can’t recall his name but he reeked of cigarette smell. Instead of efficiently addressing the issue, they spent an excessive amount of time fumbling around and making matters worse. It was clear that they lacked the necessary expertise to handle even basic plumbing tasks.
Furthermore, the plumbers exhibited a complete disregard for cleanliness and respect for my property. They left a mess behind, with tools and debris scattered throughout my home. Not only did I have to deal with the original plumbing problem, but I also had to clean up after their negligent behavior.
To add insult to injury, the cost of their services was exorbitant compared to other reputable plumbing companies in the area. It felt like they were taking advantage of my desperate situation and charging whatever they pleased, without any consideration for fair pricing.
Overall, my experience with Murray was a complete nightmare. From their lack of communication and expertise to their unprofessional behavior and inflated prices, I cannot stress enough how dissatisfied I am. I strongly caution anyone considering their services to look elsewhere for a reliable and reputable plumbing company.

Anthony provided excellent quality and service for my family. With 24 years of experience, his work ethic and performance reflects it. He was extremely polite and kind. He answered any and all questions I had and took the time to show me how to properly utilize my newly installed appliance. I highly recommend Anthony and Murray Electric and Plumbing. His dedication to duty and service to customers is beyond reproach.

First want to say the plumbers were awesome. Went above and beyond. So I do not blame them whatsoever. They can only do what they are given the go ahead to do.

However…
It was been 9 days since they “finished” the job. They got paid the full amount on day one and maybe that’s where I messed up. Should not have paid in full because then you can’t get ”office manager” to do her job and ensure the job Actually gets finished. She keeps asking if I called the city of Muskogee or if I see flags or tags or called it in..um hello..that thousands of dollars was supposed to pay for you to do your job. I would be good to do the job myself but they need to send me my check back! May as well save your money and do it yourself. Looks like I am going to have to. Ripped off. Don’t pay up front! Beyond frustrated with this company.

I normally do not post poor reviews, but I'd like my experience to be considered when others are picking their service.

I hired this company to correct the pressure of a sink and to fix breakers that kept tripping for various circuits. I was overcharged and no problems were resolved. I tried to contact the company twice, once left a message with a phone service, and was ignored.

The two people attempting to make the repairs were polite and made professional assessments. I am glad to pay anyone for their opinion and time, but both spent about one hour each without making any changes while charging a total of almost $600, which is extremely expensive to someone raising a family with an average job.

I later found other companies who made the correct repairs, for about $60 each.

My experience is one of many, and this might have just been honest mistakes, albeit very costly ones for us.

UPDATE: This company later reached out and refunded the additional services incurred

Brandon came out right after I got off the phone, calling for help. I was limited on money, but no more than an hour after he left, the pipes thawed! Because he helped us and gave us insight on what to do since we couldn't pay for longer time. He is AWESOME! We appreciate him and his knowledge. It helped and I am so grateful. Thank you!

This place and it's people are seriously awesome. I had a water heater installed. I was quoted between 1 and 5. Missy in the office was very friendly and helped me pick correct size tank. At around 1:45 or so is when someone was at my house. Zac and Bryan were my technicians and they were both great. Very knowledgeable and informative. Very happy to answer any questions I had and they had positive attitudes. Got me fixed up quick and did it right. Made sure I was all up to code. Took care in connecting everything. This company gives white glove service and I highly recommend.

Upgraded service panel, removed old overhang wire, installed ground wire, final charge was same as estimate (which never happens)! Team was incredibly friendly, helpful and professional. Cost of estimate was deducted from final bill as well. Anthony Benson was my service tech, he personally maintains a 5 star rating within the company which is well deserved!

Brandon cleaned my old mossberg sewer line out. He did a great job. Nice young man.

Had problems with a fixture in an animal enclosure, and they were able to diagnose the problem and fix it within an hour. Service was quick, the electrician (Jason Smith) was knowledgeable and responsive, and the fixture is working good as new.

My husband and I had several different electrical jobs that needed addressed, plus one big project too! A friend of ours referred us to Murray Electric and we were more than pleased!
The technician they sent out to assess our needs and give us a bid was more than gracious and respectful, with lots of knowledge and extra information that we hadn’t even thought about.
The day that Max and his co worker came out was a flawless day of not only checking off all of the items on our list, but they were both so respectful, professional, friendly, informative, hard working, and Max made sure to keep us in the loop as the work was being done.
We honestly felt like they treated us like family, and the price was more than fair for excellent work.
If you want peace of mind about something as important as your electrical work, then Murray Electric is the place for you!

I have never, ever worked with such an amazing electric team as the people at Murray Electric. They were so fast and clean and perfect.
We had another company (Mr. Sparky) come out last week and told us our electric repair would cost 1400$ and take several days but Murray electric came out and finished the entire project in 5 hours and only charged $500!
Ted even cleaned up everything around him to make sure the room was perfect when he left.
We will never use anyone other than Murray Electric.

Fantastic service. A technician was here within about 20 minutes of me calling. They replaced our vent van motor in about 45 minutes including the time to go and get a replacement part. Wouldn't consider calling anyone else.

Cody came out and fixed a switch for me. Had to come back a second time to make an additional repair and did not charge me, despite working for 2+ hours. Great service! Will use again and refer others.

I didn't have the luxury of shopping around as I really needed to get an outlet installed for a kitchen range. I think they saw my position and overcharged me, $2,100 for the single outlet with 25 ft of conduit ran outside of house. They were at my house for four hours. This type of work should have been $6-800. Shop around if you can.

Update: June 28, 2023 - I haven't heard anything from the customer care team and it has been two weeks. I assume their reply here was just to appear they are going to do something.

TLDR: I do not recommend this company due to customer exploitation in relation to cost.

Murray Electric is very friendly, knowledgeable, and oriented towards problem-solving. Both the office and the electricians themselves are great to work with.

These guys came recommended to me and they were great! They responded quickly, they were friendly, and they worked fast! Will definitely pass on the recommendation to others!

A limb took out power at one of my rental properties. After calling numerous places Murray Electric was able to get it taken care of. Jason was professional and my tenant had only great things to say about him. Will definitely recommend and use in the future.

I have done business with this company for years and I have always been satisfied with the outcome. The thing I like the most about Murray is that its a local company that has been around for more than 30 years, I've learned that when choosing a company that means something.

Needed my outside natural gas line shortened and add the appropriate connections for my grill. Representative was professional and finished the job in a timely manner. Very pleased with the results

Just...wow!

As typical a situation, I attempted to hang a chandelier and somehow messed it up.

I had heard their ad on 92.9 The Drive and thought I would give them a shot at fixing my screwup and also do some other electrical work I needed done at our home.

They claimed in the ad that “when you’re in a hurry, call Murray”. Well, they delivered! I called around noon and they were at our home by 2:30!!

The electrician listened to what I needed done, did the work completely and professionally, and the price was very reasonable.

I strongly recommend their service and have no hesitation of using them again...especially if my wife wants another chandelier hung.

Jason was very professional, courteous. He explained everything I had questions about. He installed 3 ceiling fans with lights and made sure the wiring in the attic was in good shape.

He was nice and polite but nothing was completed at all. I paid $89.00 for nothing but to be told that he can’t get the shower handle off with out breaking it. Which is odd because a friend of mine got it off first try. I feel a service fee should be charged if service was done but nothing was done or even repaired.

Told us 89 to come look at the gas line but never said how much more just started working once done said it was 725. Then 725 more to fix it.

Brandon was so good with my plumbing problems. He was here in a timely manner and corrected the problems quickly. He had to go get parts and returned quickly. I highly recommend him for any plumbing need. He is professional, friendly and conscious of keeping my home clean especially because of the rain at the time of service. I will ask for him with any other plumbing needs.

I needed someone to come out to my house fairly quickly since I smelled what I thought was an electric fire. They came out that day and not only fixed the problem but didn’t over charge me either. They are fair priced and professional. I will be using them again.
