Mr.Joe Mirtil was the young man how check my water problem(blue water coming out of my shower facet) He was very professional( he test my water Ph levels).Mr Bowen Faught was also very professional (he drained and flushed my water heater). He did a great job! Thank you very much for your professional help. No more blue discoloration showing from my shower. All of my facets are working very well. The job was finished to my satisfaction and the final result for the main sewer and storm drain replacement was exemplary. Good price for the project also which includes complete restoration of my yard to its original state. Very reasonable and they have an excellent team working for them. I highly recommend them.

We have used Mr. Rooter for years. They respond quickly and take care of the problem right away. At least twice we have had an associate come out on his day off to finish a job or to help out in an emergency. Once, one of the gentlemen even made/altered a special part for me at his home because our well system was old and many parts for it are no longer available.I am sure you could get cheaper plumbing elsewhere, but I am willing to pay more for the quality and the excellent customer service.

The seal on my PCV pipe that comes from my sump pump & goes into the exterior wall of my house to the outside burst when washing clothes & the pump cycled! I called Mr. Rooter Friday morning & they were at my house Friday afternoon. It was nice that not only was I getting email messages that someone was coming, but Mr. Rooter also called me to let me know when their techs were coming! 3 vehicles showed up to determine what would be needed to repair my pipe (they thought it had frozen up), but that was not the case. So all but 1 vehicle left & the tech repaired my pipe & cleaned out the bottom of the crock. Their tech, Frank, was professional & knowledgeable, even though I kept looking over his shoulder at the work he was doing. The ONLY reason I gave a 9 was because of Mr. Rooter's pricing. Was a little pricey, but according to their tech, they charge a flat rate, so there's no negotiating. Guess it's true what my father used to tell me when I was growing up, which is You get what you pay for. So, it might have been a little pricey, but the work was done the same day I called & done right the first time! I'm a happy & satisfied customer! Thank you Frank & Mr. Rooter!

Just another awful franchise company of The Dwyer Group. I have found that all of these businesses tend to get the exact same reviews. They are all extremely overpriced and staff less than knowledgeable employees. The biggest problem is that they pay their employees based off of how much of your money they can take. No plumber who is professional and has verifiable experience would work for an employer like this.....Thus you will more than likely end up with someone whom has failed as a plumber with an actual plumbing contractor rather than working for the McDonald's of plumbers. Mr. Rooter, Glass Doctor, and Mr. Elecric are all a very bad decision if you are in need of either repairs.

They’re a scam company. DO NOT USE!!! Insane overpricing, lies about the issues to try to scam more work. I called out an odd diagnosis and the tech stuttered and panicked over the fact that I knew what I was talking about and wasn’t you g the scam. After being quoted 5 times the standard rate to do work on problems that didn’t even make sense, we told them to leave and went with an actual professional. Seriously, these scammers deserve to lose their licensing.

The plumbers were very nice. They explained everything they found and how they were going to fix the problems. The guys neatly and quickly did their job. Once again, I'm glad I called Mr. Rooter!

After trying and failing to unclog an overflowing toilet with an auger and then recruiting a plumber friend to do so with an under performing drill-powered snake that hit roots in the basement floor sewer line but couldn't punch through, he advised me to call a professional. Since I had a $56 coupon from Mr. Rooter, I decided to give them a call at 3 P.M. At 4:15, Frank White arrives! He scrutinized the layout of the house's internal sewer line, took the necessary photos on his tablet, gave me an exact detail of my options and the costs. I was impressed with his attitude, work ethic and knowledge. Most of all, he solved the problem in a quicker response than I expected. I suspect that all of Mr. Rooter's plumbers are capable, but if you need their services, and if Frank White is available, grab him!

I had Lance and his partner here on November 2nd. I was so happy when I saw Lance. Had him here a few times. I was told last year. He was no longer working. The, two of them were great. They fixed my bathroom sink. It wasn't going down. The, pipes were the original ones. I give them an A+ for a good job. Very friendly also. I highly recommend Mr. Rooter. And, sure hope Lance stays!

I was in trouble, I had a mess. Complete main sewer blockage, my toy homeowner snake was useless. Mr. Rooter saved the day. Polite, quick dispatch, email ID of Greg the service Tech. Arrived with professionalism, skill, awesome heavy equipment. In no time I was clean to the street and examining my pipe with a camera. Even got my refrigerator magnet discount. A nasty day turned good, Thanks Greg and Mr. Rooter!!! They are now my -go-to- call.

Great Job. Fast service by a professional. He was upfront about the work that needed to be done and what it was going to cost. When additional work was needed he explained what was needed and why. He had the equipment to show his work was completed (Camera that goes down the drain). All together it was a job well done.

They couldn't come quite as soon as I wanted BUT they came sooner than scheduled. Joe was very professional, knew where the water turnoffs should be, explained what he did and how long to leave the faucet off, and about their warranty. Overall very pleased.

Tech was knowledgeable and virtuous and got the job done

From the bathtub drain to shower head were to be replaced. When he finished he found the shower head arm had some play so he did not replace the shower arm and head. He would have to cut another hole in the drywall to access the shower arm support screws to tighten it and did not do it.

During a storm our sewage line ended up backing up flooding our basement. Called Mr rooter they came the very next morning first thing. Team is very professional. We have had them in and out for 5 and a half days making repairs. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

We are so grateful that we called! Our hot water tank broke on our anniversary. The response from Mr. Rooter was quick and professional. Our technician was knowledgeable, polite, professional, and very easy to work with. Our new tank was installed quickly but carefully and we're so thankful. We're all set now and can enjoy a nice dinner to celebrate.

Your Service Tech was very professional. He arrived on time and fully investigated my sewer drain back-up problem before suggesting a course of action. Even when I doubted his initial proposal of a limited toilet auguring; it proved to improve the flow. The technician then performed a full line auguring that successfully removed the stoppage. The technician also improved our 1st floor toilet performance by installing a better performing high efficiency toilet which will probably keep us from getting a new blockage. The prices quoted and work performed were very reasonably priced, and the technician seemed to care very much that we would have a successful outcome. I will gladly recommend your company and Johnathon Gnizak, your technician, to all of my friends that need plumbing service.

We had the pleasure of having Stephen Edwards as our repairman a few weeks ago. He was so very helpful, courteous and made sure he didn’t cause a mess. We had him repair our toilet and unclog the bathroom drain. I would recommend this company and thank Stephen for his professionalism.

I called Mr. Rooter and they had a service technician, Kyle, at my home in 2 1/2 hours. Kyle was very pleasant and professional. My drains are all clog free and I received a warranty for the work performed. Kyle also was showing me the clogs as the camera was finding them. He was always explaining the process, what he was finding, and assured me that every inch of my pipes would be cleaned before he left. He did just that!!! I am very satisfied with the work.

I have used Mr Rooter and Mr Electric many times. The reps are always professional and do a good job. HOWEVER, at least 6 times now I have had my appointment canceled the morning of. I take time off work to be home for these and they don't care. They only care about the bottom line. If your a little guy, expect to get completely screwed on scheduling and have multiple appointments canceled.

Bryon and Dave were top notch. I’ve had a leak for about a year and they were the only ones able to find it. I would highly recommend them!!

Had me sitting at home waiting and when I called she assured me that they would get someone out (by the way she sounded annoyed when I called to ask how much longer). Then at 8:45 PM I get a call saying no one would be able to come out today. Smh I absolutely can't stand unreliable and unprofessional company's. Please Please if you value your time because they sure don't. Call another company for your plumbing needs. Now I have to sit here with this horrible sewage smell and can't even turn on my heat because the smell comes through the ventsTHANKS MR.ROOTER

Fast to get me on the schedule (inside of 24 hrs). Paxton arrived on time and was so polite, professional and accommodating. He went above and beyond to talk me through a plumbing problem/leak and even improved upon the design/ fittings. He went on to even make future suggestions to keep things maintained and in good repair. It was very apparent Paxton is highly skilled and knowledgeable in his trade. I was his last appointment and he never hurried or rushed the appointment and was so impressively thorough. I hope you know what a top notch technician you have and hope he is recognized!

Customer service was fast and responsive with ETA on the way within 15 minutes of my call. Steven, my plumber service rep was courteous, friendly and professional. The price seemed awfully high for similar services from different companies utilized before but because of the quick response time I decided to pay some shekels. There was no online coupons to take advantage of (this was a $1300+ invoice) which was pretty lame. Would recommend, but I’m going to be more diligent in getting some other bids. Steven represented the company well.

Our Kitchen Faucet and Shut Off Valves needed to be replaced. The Technician found our favorite Moen Faucet and did a wonderful job putting it in and a great cleanup job after.

They actually were early for the appointment, they diagnosed the problem very quickly, offered a solution that I could do myself inexpensively and made sure I was comfortable with every step along the way.

The technician did not show up in the time frame of the appointment and when going to get parts took an hour when the store was 10 minutes down the road. The job was done well but at a ridiculous price for the amount of work that was performed and the time in which it took. Flat rates can be beneficial for a large job, I understand, but in this case 700 dollars to hook up a battery back up for a sump pump (~ 20 minutes) seems unreasonable and not well classified within the job rating system.

Horrible communication. The estimator outright lied about the way work was going to be done. They damaged more property than was necessary to do the work. I highly recommend using anyone else for any underground work. Was even told a supervisor would be out to discuss the work but that never happened .

Friendly, knowledgeable staff including the scheduler/dispatcher and plumbers, plumber offered great explanations to questions. Cost is high but about the same as other services. We had water discoloration, dripping shower, and installation of sink stopper. The plumber (Andrew) check the pipes in our crawl space to be sure we had no leaks and he even took videos to show us everything, so helpful.Since my original review, we've had to have Mr. Rooter out two more times to replace the water shut off valves - one to the house and one to the street. We had Bernie and Travis to do the repairs and they were wonderful. They had all the parts on hand, completed the work in a really tight space with no difficulty, explained everything they were going to do, and worked in tandem with Aqua Ohio to get us back up and running in a short time frame. In other words, great job!

Really overpriced, workers were great, get a contractor, its much cheaper.

Decided to go with Mr. Rooter for a Water Heater replacement. It turned out to be A VERY BAD DECISION. Once the new tank was in place, the exhausting part was not working. Their next step?! Blame the chimney even if I never had that issue with the old water heater system. In any case, at that point I was on my own as they are not able to address any chimney issue. Why are you in the business of installing gas water heater systems if you can't address a chimney issue which most likely you caused during the installation of the new system? Anyhow, not their problem but mine at that point. My advice to anyone looking to replace or install a new gas water heater system with Mr. Rooter: look for another company that can do the job completely regardless the situations that could come up during a replacement job.

Best technology for the problem I had. Water service line was leaking in the driveway apron. They were able to pull new copper tube through my old PVC with a 'fish' wire which saved saw cutting and then repairing my concrete driveway. The clean up was great afterwards...

I did use a home warranty service that was purchased with the home and he works with them excellently and also had to contact manufacturer for parts and he also took care of that as well had parts delivered in a couple of days and came that day to complete the work. I have recommended this company to my family and friends and will continue to do so. It is nice to know you have a reliable plumber on hand whenever something comes about. I left email on company website about my problem with my toilet at 430 am. Company opens for business at 7 am; therefore, I planned to follow back up later in the morning. To my surprise, I received return phone call at 7:10 am in spite of the company only being open for 10 minutes. I was scheduled for service call for the next morning. Technician was on time and fixed my issue in 15 minutes.

Blake White did a great job detecting the problem and quickly resolving the problem within 30 minutes. He was very professional, courties and polite!

I have never been treated so awesomely! The fact that they figured out how to save us thousands of dollars instead of just charging us what we agreed to, is beyond greatness. Then after the service was done, took another thousand off because the job was easier than previously planned! We are just beyond grateful! I had a toilet leak and could not use my toilets. It happened on a Sunday. I called and made an appt for Monday. Mr Rooter will not quote prices on the phone. The plumber came and he was pleasant he said the main was plugged. He said cost would be 1000 and I was speechless. He said they use a camera in case there were Tree root problems. He then came down to 800 and then finally 717. This is before he did anything. I am a single lady and I honestly do not know plumbing. I had no useable toilet and I work from home. So he found a soft clog and was here and gone in less than two hours. A lot of the time was me asking about the price. After talking to other plumbers and family and co workers I know it was expensive and I really got overcharged it was 350 per hour for a toilet paper clog. I am very disappointed and very upset as a single middle aged woman. I will tell everyone I know and I have told everyone I know how expensive Mr. Rooter is. Unless you are rich stay away from this extremely overpriced company. You will pay way more than ANY Other plumber. It’s a shame the way this company works. No tree roots and just a soft clog. I can’t sleep over how this company took advantage over a lady who doesn’t know plumbing. The price is outrageous!!!! Please call anyone else because they will hurt you in the pocketbook. Shame on you Mr. Rooter.

Scheduling service was both convenient and easy. Mr. Rooter sent a confirmation email that includes an actual photo of the technician coming to your house. The technician was very professional and very patient in answering all of the many questions I asked. When he left, I fully understood what he was replacing on my sump pump and why. He was very neat and wore footies over his shoes when inside of my house. It’s my first time using Mr. Rooter, but if I ever need another plumber it won’t be the last time.

The price may be higher, but the next day service, reliability and professionalism can't be beat. No waiting around for hours or days to get a call back and arrive on time.

We found a copper pipe/elbow leak in our crawl space. The first plumber was unable to do the repair and after trying to get 4 other plumbing companies to come out on an emergency basis (we already had our county water dept. turn off the water to our home) I finally contacted Mr. Rooter - late on a Friday - and the plumber was here within an hour (had to finish another job). He was able to repair the pipe and made sure that I was able to contact our county water dept. to have the water turned back on. He also noticed that the leak had caused water damage and mold was forming. He suggested we get someone to look at that. He helped us make the call, sent the pictures we had, and we connected to Right Restoration. Turns out that we do have a major mold issue and mitigation of it is needed. We are so thankful for how knowlegeable the plumber was (Stephen Edwards) and his assistance!!

Mr. Rooter was very a responsive company. Additionally, they arrived on time. The plumber was friendly and exceptionally professional. Because I was a repeat customer, they quoted me a price and then discounted that quote by $56. They successfully completed the work in timely manner and the work performed was impeccable. However, If Mr. Rooter has a con; it is that they are not an inexpensive solution. In fact, they were actually over $100 dollars more expensive that my worst quote even with their discount. The only reason I went with Mr. Rooter was because they were responsive and professional and willing to work within my schedule. Would I use them again? Yes, I would definitely use them again, but only as my back up choice due to their pricing.

Saturday night my 3 pump. Sump pump system went out and we had water water flooding in. I hit the internet and the first 3 I clicked on had fprm for me to Gillingham out and they would call meRight away(None did)Mr Rooter had a phone number to call and the girl was concerned about our problem and said they would help us. 2 hours later Mr Rob Eggers is at our door and he found the problem, had the parts on the truck, replaced a pump, check valve and flow switch before I knew itHe was very professional, polite and explained everything as he went,I will use Mr Rooter from now on and recommend them to all my family and friends,Ken GillinghamAshtabula, OH

We are very happy with Mr. Rooter service. The service man arrived when expected. The work was completed faster than expected and the area was cleaned up. Mr. Rooter will be at the top of our list if we ever need a plumber in the future.

We had a plumber to our home on a Friday. He assessed the problem and gave us a quote for $2044. On Saturday, they spent 8.5 hours at our house only to leave a leak that they created overnight. A second plumber showed up on Sunday and spent 2.5 hours. He said the issue was fixed, and he looked over everything thoroughly. It has been 4 days and now we have a leak from another part of the work they did. There is no answer at our “local dispatch”, and we have an active leak. I would not recommend using this service to anyone. The experience has been terrible.

I had a short time window for the estimate appointment, which I shared at the time of booking. My appointment was scheduled two days in advance. I did not receive a confirmation for my appointment so I called as soon as they opened on the day of the appointment to ensure the time window was confirmed, which they did confirm (8-10 am). I never heard anything and my technician had not been assigned to my appointment yet when I called at 10am to cancel.

Inconsistent, I have used them for electric service on my home and condo and have had great experiences and terrible. If you can afford to wait use a smaller independent service.

Dave, Greg and Byron are both professional and courteous. Their work is top notch. My only complaint was the clean up. I was told the floor and stairs would be clean and things put back. They didn't leave trash or old material, but the floor and stairs had a muddy film and nothing was moved. This project was very expensive. I feel it could have done a little better.

Dave was very prompt at arriving as scheduled for our appointment. Dave got right to the job at hand and presented us with our options. He performed the job in a timely and efficient manner, and left the area exactly how it was prior to any work. I would not hesitate to contact Mr. Rooter for any plumbing difficulties. Although the work was mid-range price-wise, it was a necessary expense since everything we had tried to do ourselves did not resolve the problem.

The entire sanitary sewer drain had to be replaced from my house to the street. The service plumber came out the same day and evaluated the situation on Monday afternoon. The job was completed on Wednesday afternoon. Very impressive!

This was my first experience with Mr. Rooter and with Joe. Before retiring, I ran a service facility for a Fortune 500 company... so I know how important good service is to a consumer. Mr. Rooter gets 5 stars for price and speed of service. Joe, in particular; was so excellent at his job and went far beyond what I would have expected to take care of my installation needs and more! I won’t go anywhere else for all my plumbing needs and will request Joe specifically.

My service guy was Joe George. He arrived in a timely manner, he was professional and seemed knowledgeable about my issue. In the end turns out my pipes were not clogged, it was just a back up valve preventer causing the problem. He checked everything to confirm my problem and told me to have a great rest of my day, no charge for showing up and diagnosing the issue. Great company, honest, and trustworthy!

Toilets were installed by this company less than 2 years ago. I understand the warrenty, but felt the tank works should have lasted longer than just over a year. Prices are a bit high, but they do have coupons. Work was done quickly and no problems so far.

I was able to have someone come out the same day and knew exactly when to expect them. They did a great job of explaining the situation. They were fast and friendly.

I think that we have been overcharged. The plumber came to our home late. We asked for a small person due to our bathroom being small and we were sent a man about 6' tall. He replaced our inner parts of small toilet. He left for over an hour to get parts. Was not given a receipt. I was not home my husband was. I would of called the company and complained. For what he did should not have been $390. Not very happy!!

Mike Dicaro was excellent! I was so surprised to get an appointment the same day to fix our garbage disposal! He tried to fix our original to save us money but ended up having to replace it! This company is a rip-off! I needed a water service line replaced from main shutoff to house and their quote was nearly 5 times more than their national leading competitor quoted me for the same job plus a new shutoff valve in the basement. I would never recommend this company!

If I could give a half of a star; I would! smh things started with Mr. Electric. Matthew was very professional and arrived within his time slot, I was given. He informed me that I may need a gas line for the services I was inquiring. He directed me to Mr. Rooter, which is one one of their partnering companies. He set up the appointment and somewhere several hours later. I received a called saying that I would be rescheduled for the next day between the hours of 11-1pm. I have received 2 calls saying that they are still working on someone to come out. I gave them a call around 4pm. At that time I was told that I was next in line for a tech. Did i mention that the lady told me yesterday i would be placed on high priority due to the cancel. It is now 8pm smh I am still sitting here waiting (some priority) smh. I forgot to mention that someone called for the 3rd time and said they were sending someone ...only for them to call back and apologize and say the tech doesn't have the right equipment and that she was working on trying to get someone else to come out. UNACCEPTABLE!!!

These guys were here with-in the hour after I placed call. Very nice, the other thing I did not know Right Restoration also got involved.

The plumbers that were sent out from Mr. Rooter scoped our working stack, and then provided us with an estimate of $8500 to have our basement floor torn out and to have a pipe fixed, with no diagnosis. We got a second opinion from another plumber who showed us the working stack and scoped the non working one, and was able to fix the clog for $1200. We essentially paid hundreds of dollars to Mr. Rooter for no service and a ridiculous quote.

We had a pretty bad blockage in our sewer system and it caused overflow into our house. I called many local places and they refused to help so I called Mr. Rooter. Jesse & a few of his crew showed up pretty quickly and were able to diagnose the problem. They showed us on camera that our sewer line had spider webbed and collapsed causing the overflow of sewage in our home. They quoted $7500 to dig up our yard and replace the piping which is reasonable for such a huge job. We also needed descaling of our cast iron pipe which was I believe $1800. We financed our major repair and they sent crews out in two days to get the job fixed and it was done all in one day! So far I couldn’t be any more happy with the job they performed and I am so happy to be able to use our water system again. However, we did have water damage and lost our bathroom and part of laundry room but that’s currently being handled by insurance. It’s been stressful and it’s been a very rough week but so thankful for Mr. Rooter because they are the only ones willing to do this job!

I've learned a valuable lesson in having a handyman do various works around my house. All of which has had to be redone. Mr. Rooter might be a bit more pricey, but the work is guaranteed and frankly, for the piece of mind, it is SO worth it. I always request the same plumber, Bill Spitzer, that has started to fix everything everytime. He already knows what's going on, knows what I want to accomplish in the future (and helps analyze important steps to take to make those plans become reality), and goes above and beyond for me. I will always have Bill do my plumbing work and I recommend him every chance I get.

My plumber showed up within an hour of my making the call. They professionally cleared my drain clog put the pipes back together and cleaned up. I highly recommend my Mr. Rooter Plumber Dave Balog and his assistant Gabriel!

They came out within an hour of my call. Joe was very professional and explained everything to me.

Worst service I've ever had. The whole thing was a sham. First off, I called 3 places for help with my plumbing. To be fair, this was the only place the called me back. However, they never showed up the day they said they would. The next day they arrived. So, now I had to take an extra day off work. But, at least they showed up, is how I looked at it. They worked for maybe 2 hours and assured me the job would be done correctly. After the workers had finished, they presented me with a bill for over $900. I felt like, at least my problem was solved, and my family could use the restroom and shower.The next day, my laundry room floor was covered in water. My bathroom floor was covered in urine. My bathtub was filled with debris and water. My kitchen sink was filled with backflow.I took yet another day off of work, losing more money. They were late, but they did come out and work. Four trucks. They worked for nearly 5 hours. Then, they told me it was a city problem, and the Supervisor would be out soon to verify, so the city could take care of it, and it would be the financial responsibility of the city.The supervisor shows up, assess the situation, and returns to inform me I owe them an extra $248.52 for the work they did that day (despite guaranteeing their work from the day prior). Then, he tells me I need to pay over $5,000 for further work that's needed.None of this was told to me the days prior. Very disappointing.And, one more thing, they took an electrical part I ordered for my oven, and placed it in my sink and ran water over it. Why?Terrible experience.

Contacted due to water coming into basement via wall joint. Problem was quickly identified and a repair quote was offered almost instantly. Work was completed quickly and competently and we were informed of status along the way. Our primary technician, Jonathan, was excellent to deal with - the other team members we interacted with were pleasant as well.

The plumber (Richard) was extremely kind and friendly the entire time, and provided expert advice at each step of the way. Chris is my go-to person when it comes to plumbing. I always ask for him because I know he'll get here on time, explain exactly what the problem is, give me options to getting it repaired, and do a job that is thorough, professional and lasting.

I had a bad, BAD clog in my kitchen drain. Mr. Rooter’s plumber showed up within the window of time promised with the dispatcher’s call ahead to let me know when he’d be here. Marcus came in and was extremely courteous. He diagnosed the clog by running the water to find the clog wasn’t very far out. He gave me two options of snaking the drain to break up the clog with a 30 day warranty or snaking and jetting which would offer me a one year warranty on the drain clog and really send the broken up clog all the way out of my drains. He gave me the pricing options and being the holidays, I chose to snake the drain now and have them back to jet my drains next summer. I’ve been in my house for over 25 years and have never had them jetted. The snake definitely hit and went through the clog. Marcus ran the snake through again and you could hear more of the clog break up. He filled the sink and running the water he flushed out the drain. He cleaned up everything with a special Microban cleaner and packed up his stuff. He was very easy going and knowledgeable and answered ALL of my questions. I would definitely call Mr. Rooter again for any plumbing issues.

I have had Mr Rooter out 3 times for a house I purchased that needed some updating. Every time the work was explained to me and completed as it was explained with pictures and all. The rep Aris also spoke to the Home Warranty People to get the costs we could handled and a manufacturer for repair parts even made arrangements to have them delivered and came that day to install them. I can't say enough how great the company has been to work with and also my technician. I can just text him when I have issues he responds quickly and has my request and appointment scheduled. Working with Home Warranty does take time to talk to them and explain every bit of a repair and Aris never complained and even said he would talk to the manufacturer if needed and he did follow through with that request. Just excellent technician services, great customer service and very polite and respectful of removing shoes, shutting doors, cleaning up and also turning lights off. I highly recommend giving this coming a call for any of your needs and do recommend them to all my friends and family and look forward to the next issue that comes about as they make the repairs quickly, around my work hours and always great.

Joe was right on time. He found during his scheduled work some other serious issues with the plumbing in my home. He was able to repair those and do the scheduled work all in one day. I was pleased with his knowledge and work. He cleaned up after himself and explained all that he did. He probably saved me from bigger problems which I am so glad about. Meant to be. And the sink he installed is beautiful as well. Good job.

Plumber came and gave estimate on replacement of two hose spigots and installation of shut off valves for each. He did the work after I accepted the estimate. He was extremely personable and professional. Quality of work was excellent. I feel like the price may have been a little high, but I did not shop around and wanted it done ASAP.

I had a leak at a T junction in the copper water line.I know it is an easy repair to remove the junction, clean it and resolder it, but I am physically unable to do the job. Mr. Rooter was very rapid in responding with a repairman. Instead of just repairing with solder he cut out the junction and when he went to replace it he seemed surprised that he had to add copper pipe and couplings to make it fit.I feel the price was way too expensive, but what can you do when a pipe is leaking?. He could have repaired it for a cost of leads than three dollars.Just for them to get things out of the truck is extremely high. He did a good job for what he did, there is no more leak, so that is good.

Needed faucet replaced, disposal removed and new pipes with shutoffs. They did a terrific job! Called to let me know repairman was on the way. Repairs were done very professionally. Very clean and very respectful of my house, kitchen. Just a very excellent experience. Would definitely use them again.

Our sump system was failing this past weekend. Mr. Plumber came and replaced our main pump. After other evaluation s they also found a drainage issue as well . Later that night I tested the original backup and it failed as well. They came out on Monday and put in a whole new system in and credit my account from the pump they installed the previous day. The back up system comes in a two pump set up, the main and back up. After they left I had further questions and was having trouble setting up the internet connection that sends out alerts. The manger came out first thing Tuesday morning and resolved all other issues. Excellent customer service and piece of mind .Thanks

We had a backup in our basement floor drain. Joey G. came out on a Saturday morning and was very friendly and accommodating to our requests for safety with cleanliness. We have someone in the house with an underlying health issue, but Joey made us feel very comfortable! Technicians did an excellent job a few years back replacing our sewage pipe. Unfortunately, the service quality has decreased considerably. They hired to unclog a drain which has remained clogged after their visit and have cancelled subsequent appointments to fix it.

Tried to get service for a tankless electric water heater. First appt was moved to the following day. I only found out when I called and asked for a status update after the original window had passed.The following day, we met with Jeremy, who was great. He inspected our set up and confirmed for us the tank was not working. He even provided a couple of quotes for replacing external boxes down the road. Jeremy set us up with an appointment for the following day to get a plumber in to install a new heater with the caveat that we would have to provide the unit. Not a problem, I called the manufacturer and overnighted (100 overnight fee on my part) the freight so it would be here for our scheduled appointment the next day.The next day came and no one showed. I called back 30 mins after the window closed and they said someone was just late. I called an hour and a half later and they told me the service call had been outright cancelled. I was told a manager would reach out to me to discuss. This is around 5pm on Friday night. Well beyond any reasonable time frame to get another provider out to help us out with this issue btw.This manager that was supposed to call never reached out, so I call back Saturday morning. They set up another appointment for me for Sunday after I explained that we already got the electric inspection from Jeremy. Sunday also happens to be fathers day. I let the nice lady know that I don't have much faith in their timeliness, but if they can get me in first thing I would be flexible again and adjust my plans. Well, I adjusted my fathers day plans 3 additional times including to outright cancelation of lunch plans. And they STILL never showed.I get that sometimes a job isn't for you. That's fine, but If you cannot complete an install, at least tell me with enough time to find replacement contractors rather than drag it out into a long weekend. Its been 5 days without warm water in our house.Its unbelievable to me that this company has zero care about the flexibility needed to be available for them to show up, and just no call no show the appointment (or outright cancel with no indication). Its now 5:00pm on Fathers day (wasted day) and still no one showed.

Called with the leak after we found the water pooling on Sunday afternoon. Technician arrived on time and ready to work he was clean,efficient knowledgeable .found the leak and damaged part. replaced everything needed. He called.for a remediation supervisor at Mr. ROOTER. and all was taken care of waiting for our insurance company.

Used frequently for work jobs, they do good work but the tech doesn't usually arrive during the window of time scheduled.

Plumber Frank White examined the job, gave me an estimate and explained every scenario that could cause that estimate to change (fortunately it did not). He was fast, courteous, and cleaned up well after the work was finished.

Paxton was really helpful and very knowledgeable and very professional in replacing my water tank!
I would highly recommend him for any projects that may come in the future!

Had the nightmare of loosing our hot water heater on a weekend. Nick came out and was professional, and explained our options and even did several estimates based on my questions. He went all the way back to the office to get a new hot water heater, and didn't leave until it was installed and all leaks were fixed. Excellent service, and thanks so much Nick!

Greg H was very friendly and knowledgeable about all the questions I asked. He was quick and entered my house with covers on his boots. He was able to fix the problem with no issues and gave me a quick assessment of some other issues going on. No doubt I will be calling with any further plumbing problems I may come across.

My mom just used there wonderful service. Yes it was pricey but what plumber isn't lol. Let's just say it was between 2000-5000 But we had no water at all coming in. The old filtration system which was over 12 years old was the culprit. It finally went out. But since there was no shut off valve to separate that from our water coming in was a mistake whoever installed it 12 years ago. They will install a new system that does not need salt fed into it in Our water is not that hard so that really wasn't needed back then. They are going to upgrade our system. They were very courteous and manerable. They explained everything and gave us several discount. My mom's discount plus a Military discount for me. Yes it might of been done cheaper but they do a great job, and sometimes doing it right and a complete job is worth it. No headaches... Now we have water again and with the upgrades to the system we are worry free. Plus when we sell the house that's a good thing for the inspection. Had to add this once they decided to look into the trap that they installed with a camera they found that the pipe coming into the house cleaning need replacement. This is very costly 4500 plus the other. This project has gotten ridiculous. O f course my mom had no choice since there can was no water for a few days. I am sure we could of saved money. How much I don't know since there was alot of labor. Probably could of gotten a cheaper device and the work on the pipe might of been cheaper. Possibly by half maybe. But in a crisis be you don't have time to nitpick you go with who you trust. Even with the high price I still would pick them. You get what you pay for always. My father cut corners long ago when he was alive now we are fixing his mistakes. Yes this is another job and they did a great job and even gave my mom a discount. Also the basement had water damage and they sent out a mitigator to help with the insurance claim which was very helpful. I will submit pictures after the restoration part is completed.

I was very happy with the overall experience. They were able to come out the same day. I was contacted when they were on the way and was sent an email of the picture of the employee who was coming to fix my drain. He explained what needed to be done and what the cost would be before doing the work. Afterwards, I was told it was covered for 90 days if it happened again! I would recommend this company!

I called Mr. Rooter about replacing some plumbing for my washer hook up. They were very polite and were able to send someone out that day. When Joe G arrived he was professional and explained in detail what he needed to do and gave me a price before he started. Joe was polite and did a great job! We were having some pretty serious drainage issues with our kitchen sink and downstairs bathroom (which are tied together). After several months of trying to DIY (or DIM as it were) I finally called Mr. Rooter. After a bit of a delay due to their not being able to arrive the day of the appointment (which I can't fault them for, a job takes as long as it takes, right?) they showed up early the next day and after a quick exam & estimate, we gave them the go -ahead for the fix. Randall was very polite, seemed knowledgeable and reasonably quick. His crew worked efficiently and cleaned up everything afterwards. Randall even came back a couple days later to address an issue and explained why this issue was happening. At no point did I feel like I was annoying him with my questions or that we were being overcharged. I found the price fair for the job, and will definitely be calling back should any other plumbing problems pop up.

He told me what needed to be done and then worked diligently to complete the task. Great job, Nick, and I STILL love my shower.Mr. Rooter's dispatchers told me he would be at my home between 7PM and 9PM and that they would let me know when he was on the way. They did just that and he arrived by 8:30PM. Big points for communication something other service company's need to learn. Overall, the price was fair and our experience a superior one. I will definitely call Mr. Rooter next time I need plumbing work done.

Received an email and phone when the technician was on their way. In the email, it had a picture of the technician so I knew who to expect at my house. They showed up on time and installed a new sump pump in a timely manner. I would recommend this company for any plumbing needs.

Frank was wonderful. He explained everything he was doing to me, gave me options on how to proceed, and watched to make sure my cats didn’t escape when we needed to open an external door to bring in equipment. The first visit didn’t fix the problem due to unforeseen circumstances, so I called back and they sent Frank out the next day. He was able to patch the problem (until I can have a bigger procedure done) and didn’t charge me a dime. Very friendly and courteous.

We needed someone to hook up the water discharge hose from our new washing machine to our wash tub. The hose that came with the machine was too short. Mike came out and was able to do it well and with very satisfactory results. Very professional company with kind people. Highly recommended.

Couldn't have been happier under the circumstances. Friendly responsive office staff and professional, friendly, skilled plumber. Fair price. Not the lowest, but considering how well everything went, it was well worth it. Actually, in that light, it was a bit lower than I might have guessed.I made an online request to three different companies late last night for an urgent plumbing situation. This morning at 7:20am, the office called and got me on the schedule. The work is now completed, good experience, and as of now at 5:10pm, neither of the other two companies has even called me back. That says a lot.

Can't comment on their pricing, because I didn't have time to compare. Needed a repair done asap and out of the 5-6 plumbers I called, they were the only ones that could come out same day. Jonathan, the technician that came out, was super friendly and answered all my questions. He showed me pictures/video and explained the issue and fix. Would definitely recommend them to a friend for their speedy service, professionalism, and transparency.

Mr. Rooter has been to my place 2wce now to clear the main line. They have done a good job and are upfront with pricing. Estimates are free and If they cannot do it they do not charge.

Disappointed that a job 3 years ago wasn't as thorough as this job was today. I wasn't prepared for the total cost. It hopefully will eliminate the problem.

Not only does this company have a fair policy, but they clearly have integrity in 1st place. When I had a sudden and severe plumbing problem, I called them and they came out the same day, at a time that was convenient for me. They kept me informed with a call before arrival which allowed me plenty of time to leave work and get home.Steve was first on scene. The hydro truck came that night and they got it cleared out so the immediate need was met. Steve held my hand through the process of reviewing all of the plumbing issues. He gave me the possible scenarios that we had yet to confirm. I would need to replace my stack and the main sewer line (it was able to be relined, aka trenchless). It was all so overwhelming.The work needed took three whole days over the span of about a week. My team was great. I was never without working plumbing (a promise they made me at the start). Steve and Chris did the plumbing and another team (Matt and James) did the liner. Vince walked me through the numbers, the financing and answered all of my questions.Each step of the way, everyone I talked to on the phone and met with was extremely helpful, courteous and each provided excellent customer service. I completely understood what was happening along the way. I felt valued as a customer.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.The pictures are of after the work, specifically, the new main portion connected to the new stack and the line from the kitchen sink (above ground portion).

I had a great experience with Mr. Rooter. The field tech Chris was dispatched quickly. When he arrived he was very professional and courteous. He was honest and upfront about all costs and the description of his work. He worked quickly and efficiently, making sure that I was informed of what he was doing and what was occurring next. Josh was great! Diagnosed the problem and cleared the clog quickly! Was finished cleaned up and done before our guests arrived for a baby shower.

We had a misunderstanding, in that I opted for Jetting vs Snaking. So almost an hour later we came to that understanding & he switched to the Jet service. Though, he had to snake more (pulling out quite a bit of roots) after Jetting couldn't clear the clog.While disappointed they found a blockage that requires digging to replace some/a broken tile, I'm trying to decide if I can afford paying for the work.I appreciate David's work & Nick's detailed explanation after viewing the camera inspection.I also appreciate NO PRESSURE from Nick to decide about underground repairs. This is regarding Mr Rooter's 14 day period of applying some of the $1016 cleaning charge against the $2800 dig/repair quote.I did have difficulty understanding the actual amount charged to my credit card (thinking it would be less) which I attribute to the original misunderstanding (changing the original service order to Jetting) & therefore somewhat surprised the total was over $1000.As compared to a Roto Rooter estimate, I felt much more confident with Mr Rooter's approach & that is why I went w/them.Update June 2022:I've downgraded from 5 to 4 Stars (would downgrade to 3, but the drain is running freely, as of this update).Missing from my original review, above, was that on 11/30/21 Nick drove a stake in my side yard/plant bed to identify the blocked spot.Also relating to my original review, there wasn't enough time (before I left Ohio, for 3 months) to save up for & schedule the dig & repairs - plus I was overly hopeful their 11/30/21 cleaning would keep the drain flowing for a much longer period.However, when I returned to Ohio in April, there were signs the drain wasn't running freely, that was confirmed with the next rainfall.I called & scheduled the dig/repairs but neither David nor Nick was sent.Josh arrived early (they called 1st) & almost immediately there was negativity.Josh said the November notes didn't specify how deep was the blocked drain (at their pre-staked location). And there would be an additional $400 charge to reinspect (w/camera) the blockage area & also determine the depth of the previously staked spot. He added that if the blockage was deeper than 2.5' it would require digging equipment, rescheduling the work (& suggested the $2800 November repair estimate wouldn't be sufficient).I balked & complained I shouldn't have to pay again to determine the depth of the blockage. I felt this was a type of bait-&-switch tactic & he offered to halve the extra fee.I felt I had no other realistic option but to approve him to proceed as otherwise I'd be back to calling competitors for their bids.Josh began his inspection & at some point he said he'd gotten past that staked area (which was 6-8 feet from the back corner of my house). And he offered, instead of digging ($2800), to jet-out the rest of the drain ($9xx) or until he reached an actual blockage. I agreed.Subsequently Josh jetted all that side of the house & around another corner, to the front of the house & to where that drain connects to the main sewer line (which then goes to the street).As Mr Rooter's tag line is If I can't open your clogged drain ...... you don't pay!!, I've now paid twice (totally $2000) to unclog that drain.Something's not right.August 2022 update:It's very disappointing that, after my (relatively positive) 11/21 review, they responded here.But after my 6/22 experience & review/complaint that - referring to their Tag Line, I feel I've paid TWICE (11/22 & 6/22) for one actual cleaning service - I only hear the sound of crickets!

Defiantly would not recommend this company. We had a representative come to our house to replace the ceiling fan and be had to cut some if the ceiling away and told us we were responsible for that repair. Also we had someone out to fix a broken electric line to our garage and the grass had to be torn up and he told us we were responsible to fix that trench he was leaving. I have spoken to others, and they tell me that their representative fixed their grass. I'm sorry this is unacceptable to me. We still have remnants of this trench in our backyard. Never will I call this company again. I cannot believe that I have not been contacted by anyone from this company regarding this. I cannot, will not EVER recommend Mr. Anything to anybody. In fact it's just the opposite. I tell people NOT to call. And I explain why. If you do not believe me, join Next door and read the post where someone is looking for an electrician. You will see that I told them not to call your company and why. This is totally inappropriate for the way this was handled, and the company hasn't even reached put to me. I may be one pers0n, but I make it well known that I will never be using your company, and I will see to it that my friends and neighbors don't either.

I started out calling some smaller companies and wanting 1/2 the money up front is a NO_NO for me. When you ask if their bonded and you would like to see that you will get the run around.Mr. Plumber is bonded they use quality products and they stand by their work. You may pay a few $$ dollars more but their prices are compettitive (for a larger company) and just having the piece of mind is well worth it..

I was scheduled for an appointment and no one showed up? No one called, no one worked to let me know why I wasted an entire evening sitting, waiting. Very poor customer service, now we have a device, called a cell phone, it works wonders in communications. Perhaps Mr. Rooter should invest in these devices?

Carl and Joe were great. Professional, great communication of the problem, and had covers for feet which was great. And explained cost, nice installation and cleanup.

Rob was on time and looked at the problem. He gave us lots of options and various prices so we had a lot of information to make an informed decision and no pressure to do the most expensive. He was great and we are very happy with the service. No more problems and we would have Rob back if we had another problem someday.

I was so thankful that Mr. Rooter was open and able to provide service to me on a Sunday. The technician, Bill was pleasant and very personable, he explained what needed to be done and what he was going to do as well as showed me on the electronic video camera the root systems that were blocking my drain that he would be scrubbing and blowing out.The service was exceptional. Jon Bowser is the absolute best! I had a sewer backup in my basement and Jon was out within hours of me contacting Mr. Rooter. He was professional, polite, friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating - more than I could have expected. He turned a nightmare into a pleasant experience! The entire job (including city inspection) was complete in less than 2 days - wow! On top of all this, we exchanged numbers and plan on playing softball together. Mr. Rooter is lucky to have Jon, he represents the company extremely well.

Yes, Mr. Rooter is a little pricey, but you should know that Gregg removed my old hot water tank and installed a new one in about 1 1/2 hours. He even took the old tank with him. Gregg looked all over for another cartridge for my shower. The only place that he could fine that cartridge was in a new shower knob kit. I was happy to get that. The disk in the shower cartridge was not in the correct position, so a Mr. Rooter supervisor Randall came out and positioned it correctly at no charge. Now everything is working fine and I am very happy.

The gentleman who came out was very polite and explained everything, it was a little pricey but well worth it.

Mr. Rooter used quality products and displayed attention to detail throughout the job. The whole job took only 2-1/2 hours. Mr. Rooter hauled away the old tank and toilet. If you are looking for a first class, professional company I would definitely recommend Mike and Mr. Rooter. They will be our plumbers from now on!

Steve Dzierzawski came to our house to remove a whirlpool tub and replace it with a new tub, surround and all new bath and shower fixtures. Steve was really friendly and helpful and obviously a very skilled and experienced plumber. This bathroom had been remodeled 20 years ago and the remodelers had done an absolutely HORRIBLE JOB! When Steve removed the whirlpool, he was shocked at the really bad workmanship both plumbing and electrical. In fact he called O'Dell Bledsoe of Mr. Electric to make electrical repairs where the whirlpool had been. Steve was very considerate about leaving the house by 4:30 because my husband gets home at 5:00 and does not want people working in the house then. Steve did a really good job removing the whirlpool, tile and bath fixtures. He recommended a new tub and a surround plus he went to the trouble to get polished brass fixtures that I requested to match the sink fixtures. He showed me that where the tub met the surround there would be absolutely no leaking. We had dealt with a bad leak for several years. He had to remove some of the floor tile near the tub when he removed the tub. Once the new tub was in place he carefully replaced the tile he had removed. You could never tell the tile had been disturbed. Steve was also knowledgeable about the placement of grab bars and conferred with me about my wishes about placement of the bars. All and all the bath now is completely functional and BEAUTIFUL! Everyone is impressed with it. Steve also repaired a lower bath sink that would not drain. Steve does excellent work - he is the first person I would call for plumbing work. I highly recommend Steve Dzierzawski.

We have a clogged sink and called Mr. Rooter at 9:30am to have it repaired. We were told a plumber would come between 3-5pm, and received a call at 4 saying we weren’t forgotten, they were just wrapping up at another house before coming to ours. At 5:45 and no plumber, we got a call stating that they couldn’t come out today...their website states 24/7 guaranteed service yet they did not deliver. Had we known before, we could have booked another plumber but we were left high and dry by Mr. Rooter and their false guarantee. If you are in a pinch and need plumber, you’re better off with another company.

Amazing experience. I called this morning and they arrived within an hour to clean out our storm drain. Our storm drain had been clogged for awhile and we were worried it couldn’t be cleared but our technician Rob didn’t give up and did a stellar job! Now my kids can finally play in our yard again. Very professional, kind and straightforward, will definitely use this company again in the future should I ever need plumbing work again.

Called Mr Rooter after sewage backed up in my basement. Cost me $540 to told that I have $9000 worth of work to be done from cleanout to the street. My boyfriend got it down to $8100 because he knew someone there and they came down to $7500 after I got a lower quote. Day of the job I get a call while I’m working (hospice nurse) telling me that they told me there could be problems with pipe to the house (that conversation never happened) and now the additional work needed was going to run me another $8500. Again, boyfriend gets on the phone with them and it magically came down to $6000 in a matter of minutes but another upsell immediately followed for downspout Work that needed to be done to tune of $4500. What??!?! I hadn’t been able to live in my house for 10 days and then they’re “finding” more issues with my front yard dug up.I firmly believe that the new problems were “found” because I got approved for $25000 in financing. Their rep kept saying just put it on your financing. I also firmly believe that because I am a woman they tried to rip me off more that what I actually wound up paying. The technicians and office staff are very nice but the company’s business practices are shady to say the least.

The worst company! Quoted us 6500 to fix a broken drain pipe in a slab. Come time to fix it they jack hammered under my sink and told us the whole thing needs done and it would cost 25,000. We can't afford that, so we had them fill the hole back up with cement. Mind you this is after we have already given them 3500 dollars! When I inquired about getting some of that money back they got smart with us. I still want some of that money back since you guys didn't fix anything! Cementing a hole back up doesnt cost that much! Speaking of money I got a second opinion from another company they would charge us 10,000 for the job. Literally thousands less than Mr. rooter! This is ridiculus! I want some that money back, you tore my floor up, didn't fix anything, recemented under my sink. And you got paid 3500 for that? How is that even fair? As its stands imine better off today than i was a week ago! Somebody needs to call me from this company, I tried reaching out and you Don't answer the phone. 😡😡😡😤😤😤😤😤😤

This is a great company if you want them to show up to your property, pretend to snake a drain for 30 minutes then offer you no further solutions and leave you with a $225 bill, pipes that aren’t fixed, and a big mess from their dirty boots. Not to mention another company came out next day and did the same thing but with actual repairs done and half the price!

Left my bathroom a message. Then got black greasy stuff all over my bathroom towel and just left everything lay. Brought the snake in the house and got dirt and mud off over my carpets. Now I get to scrub carpets and a bathroom

Slow or clogged basement bathroom. When he came out for free estimate i was told 400 dollars to snake out to the street after a removal of toilet and reinstall.... 1 hr after getting into it his boss or supervisor showed up and they approached me to come down to the sump area. This is were they pulled my grinder pump out after disconnecting it. I was told that there wasnt a clog but a bad pump.... that was already removed. The supervisor was there to drop the bomb of the price. Not a $400 job but now a $1,945 job and that was with my military discount od $200 and it was already half done. I had no choice but to have then finish. I only asked for a detailed itemized bill and was told they dont do that. I asked for a simple break down of parts and labor costs.... they said they cant do that. They said everything was a code...????....Anyway i pulled the model up of the pump and Amazon was $450 plus attachment pipes for $45. And the rest was labor. So about $1400 for 5hrs of labor which included him going to the store to pick up the pump...Anyway job was done people were polite and cleaned area well.... everything is working fine. Just not happy about ..... rope a dope ... they way they cornered me into the job.... and not furnishing paperwork as requested..... other then that great job.

I've had good luck with them in the past this time I called on a Sunday you make an appointment for Wednesday because I was taking the day off to get the repairs done they called Wednesday said they couldn't make it out till Thursday so I called Roto-Rooter and they were there within two hours. It is what it is at least I got my problem resolved on my day off!

We just had service done by Jon S. Everything went very well. We had a gas line that needed removed and capped, which required the gas to be shutoff to the whole house. This seemed very routine for Jon. He knew what to do with our other gas appliances, and was very safety focused. He tested and verified all gas appliances worked properly when the work was done. Then he proceeded upstairs to a toilet that wasn’t filling correctly and was loud. That needed a new shutoff valve (which required the water to be shutoff in the house). After a new shutoff valve, new tank line, new fill valve in the tank, things were done. I was impressed that he waited 10-15 minutes in the bathroom waiting to ensure the new valve and line was leak free after several flushes. Toilet fills and sounds like new. Two hours of work, all parts included, $420. I know ZERO about gas and water, and was happy to pay this. I would welcome Jon S. back to do other work in our house.

I really like the work that was performed. The installing of the new water heater and uncloggig the drain took 4 hours tops. I really appreciate that he explained the work he was going to do and then when he finished he showed what he did.

Scam. Hopefully, you don't need anything beyond a stuck drain; and even if you do, you will most likely pay upfront and be at the mercy of their timeline. Thousands of dollars and still had to pay outside contractors to fix what they ineptly tried and failed to do.

Mr Rooter came to my home for a clogged drain and told me my main sewer line was separated and would cost 5,500 to repair. I called Big Tom’ s for a second opinion and they fixed clog for $200 dollars. In my experience Mr Rooter can not be trusted they lied and said they put a camera through my drain but they lied about what they saw. Big Tom’s showed me my drain with their camera so I could see the tree root they bored thru.

Scheduling service was easy, they came when they said and handled everything promptly. The technician who did my install, Mike, was great. Easy to work with, explained everything to me and made sure all my questions were answered. Everything looks great and works perfectly.

Cold water side of shower broke off and would not work anymore, so they replaced the whole assembly.

My husband and I originally had scheduled an individual from Mr. Rooter to come to our old house on a Thursday between 6pm and 7:45pm. Mr. Rooter then called and pushed back the time and date to the next day between 8am-10am. We currently do not reside at this property. It is in the process of being sold and come Monday the new owners would be taking possession. Due to an unforeseen circumstance, we needed Mr. Rooter to come resolve an issue before the new owners took possession. This means that the property does not have wifi.. no furniture.. so my husband and I could not work remotely while we waited. My husband and I took time out of our busy work schedule to wait at our old property... by 12pm.. still no sign of Mr. Rooter. My husband had a deadline for work so we had to cancel Mr. Rooter and get back to our jobs. 4 hours wasted!

Mr. Rooter's tech a Chuck M came out to clear a clogged drain for me and was very professional. He inspected the drain and looked into it further to determine the cause and recommended two steps of action to correct the problem. He discussed each process in depth with me (including pictures for a better understanding). He performed the repair and re tested it. He finished by cleaning the room leaving spotless. I called for a quote on a home i don't yet own and was given all the different options. The manager I spoke with took his time and made me feel comfortable knowing that they would be able to service any and all plumbing needs we would have.I look forward to working with them in the very near future.

Mr Rooter technicians were polite and professional. Pipes were cleaned and unclogged however they broke our cap off and did not replace it. Instead they put an oversized one on top (not sealed or screwed in) leaving our laundry room to smell. This service costed $1,100 and I’d expect it to be 100% complete with a fixed and sealed replacement. Next, we were told that our entire draining pipeline needs to be replaced and was quoted at 18k-20k. The pipeline footage was never emailed with the quote to my husband as discussed. Got a second opinion and our pipes are fine. They have been described to us by multiple plumbers as “predatory salesmen” and I couldn’t agree more.

Had root issues in my sewer line. Causing water back up in my laundry floor drain. Turned into an emergency when sewage was coming up through the drain. Called Mr. Rooter to come out on a Saturday. Had them out the week before for an estimate. They were available and arrived prior to scheduled time. Called many other places who had no availability until end of month. Joe was courteous, and professional along with the other men that came with him. They were very knowledgeable and did a great job. I ended up having to do a hydro flush because the roots were so bad. They were able to get the hydro truck out to my property super quickly to get it handled. Once roots were cleared they were able to clear all the waste that was pooling behind the roots. Joe explained everything and was patient with me and my questions and frustrations. The guys and company are very efficient, professional and do great work. I do feel their pricing is substantially higher then other local businesses. But I have no complaints on the professionalism of the workers and company. Satisfied with the job done.

I've used them in the past with no problems at all. Did not use them recently. Gave estimate $500 to replace old faucet in basement. My son replaced it for cost of $40 faucet from Home Depot.

The staff that came out was very responsive and able to fix the issue at hand. They were able to communicate the issues, costs to fix, and then fixed the issue.

I had two bathroom sinks that were clogged and one pipe that needed repair. Dave Balog and his associate (I unfortunately forgot his name) provided excellent service. Came on time and were extremely friendly. They seemed to be very knowledgeable in their field of work. They were in and out and didn't leave any mess which is hard to do when you're working in a field like plumbing. I extremely recommend them and will be using Mr. Rooter in the future.

Pros: Matched competitor’s lower price. Install done in the same day.Cons: they didn’t clean up…..I had to scrub the floor in the laundry room, wasn’t shown how to change the temp and wasn’t asked what temp to set it on. My water is luke warm and I don’t know how to adjust the temp. The water is “spurting” out of the faucets. Also, he pulled the doorknob off the bi-fold door and was not able to put it back on. I will have to either buy a new door knob or find someone to repair it for me.

Clogged main sewage line this past Saturday afternoon. Called the dispatcher and she had the serviceman Frank headed my way within 20 minutes. Line unclogged within an hour or so. Service folk like Frank A+++, represent their company as should be! Call no one else but Mr.Rooter. Very impressed.

Dave was my serviceman who replaced a failed sump pump. He was extremely knowledgeable and beyond courteous. This company doesn’t play that shakedown game with pricing either where you get charged a service fee just to show up. They also don’t charge extra for weekend calls. They may not be the cheapest but they came out when everyone else was too busy and I now have a working sump pump again it’s a great relief.

The person who answered the phone said she can have someone out in less than 1 hour. He showed up and unclogged my drain. I was so thankful with the short notice that someone was able to come out and take care of it. Definitely would recommend!!

I had a leak from the bathtub faucet upstairs that ended up taking down the ceiling below it. The house is a hundred years old and plumbing is a nightmare. Local plumber couldn’t find where it was leaking from. Nathan, from Mr. Rooter came and very efficiently found the leak and fixed it for a very reasonable price. I also didn’t have to wait days for an appointment. Highly recommend.

I called due to a hole discovered in my 4 waste stack pipe. They were very responsive and were able to get a plumber out the same day (yesterday) to look at it and give me an estimate. The plumber had a welcoming personality and took a look and worked up a price on the stack. This is where things turned my stomach. After working up the price he looked at me with a straight face and told me the cost would be $3871.00. When I immediately expressed my shock and told him that was outrageous, he then told me he could drop the price to $2500.00 without getting into too much trouble. I thanked him and excused his service. I told him that I like to break things down and that even at the $2500 estimate, if they bill his time out at $100.00 per hour, would be 25 man hours. I told him that I felt at worst this would be a 8 hour job as I was opening up the walls for their access so all they had to do was the plumbing. He stated that it would be an 8 hour job which makes his billable rate at $312.00. Now please keep in mind that I am not calculating material into these quick figures but the cast wye needed is available for under $200.00. If you calculate his hourly rate at the original $3871.00 it would be $483.86. I haven't even paid attorney's (partners at law firms) that kind of money. He then left and I sat there in utter disbelief. I have been in the construction business for over 43 years and in my opinion, this is absolute robbery. I ( and some other construction friends agreed) this should have been a $500-$1000.00 job. I called their office back to express my mindset and although they were very nice over the phone, the lady asked if I would like to speak with a manager, of which I said yes. I waited several minutes before hanging up the phone with no one ever coming to the phone. I truly feel bad for people (single moms, people not in the trades) that are not familiar with how much work should cost and, in my opinion, are being taken advantage of. I explained to the lady on the phone I did not understand why they would come out with a 33+% price reduction within 30 seconds of the plumber understanding I knew the price was outrageous. That in of itself tells me these guys are not looking out for customers but instead getting whatever they can out of the UN-informed public. I fixed it myself today and my 12 year old son helped. We were done in 4 hours. I'm not saying to not use this contractor, what I am saying is do your homework before committing.

Absolutely ridiculous predatory and outright fraudulent pricing. Paxton from Mr rooter Quoted over 2k for a faucet replacement and spigot repair. Paxton recommended treatments I didn’t even need. Called a local plumber and he couldn’t believe it. Said what Paxton had recommended would actually exacerbate my issue! In the end, the local, highly recommended plumber, Quoted less than half of what Paxton quoted me. Avoid Mr. Rooter.

Glad my drain is clear, 7 workers showed up and stood around talking, have to repaint trim mold as they dragged the hose across it and scratched it, while they work booties, they walked in the water and sewage and then tracked it up the stairs, on the carpet and floor. After drain was opened, they stood around and talked and I had to break it up so they could wrap up the job and I can begin to clean and sanitize. The supervisor talked excessively trying to explain every step of the process, think he likes to hear himself talk.

They are always very responsive and maintain communication throughout the repair. On both occasions ew used them, they fixed the issue the same day (within hours of our service request).

They were awesome going out on a Saturday evening to look at the gas line problem, calling me a few times to give me an update on the ETA and the issue once they were there. Definitely using them again in the future!

It was a Saturday afternoon when I went into my basement and found that the water heater was leaking a steady stream of water. My kids and grandkids were due over in a couple of hours for a cookout. I called Mr Rooter, they were able to get a technician on site within the hour, assess the situation and replace my water heater with minimum interruption to our outdoor festivities. Overall, the water heater was replaced within 3 1/2 hours from my first call.The old water heater was removed and everything was cleaned up. I couldn't tell that they had been here. Our technician was very knowledgeable and did a great job. I would highly recommend the Mr. Rooter, one of my better interactions with a service in the recent past.Thanks again!

Had used them for my rentals the first time they were out they did a great job and were done quickly out the same day and I got what seemed like a very fair price under 200 for a simple clogged drain. That was 5 years ago and something seemed to have changed because I had them out at 2 of my properties to do the same thing and snake the drains. One there prices have gotten exorbitant the one house was almost 400 dollars with a $56 coupon. But I wouldn't have been fine with just a higher price if they did a good job. The toilet they went though to unclog the drain they reinstalled incorrectly and ended up leaking all over the floor. Even after this I tried really hard to be understanding as I know stuff can happen I called and they assured me they would be out the next day to fix it between 2 and 4 with a 30 min heads up so me and the renters took off work for that time. 3 30 rolls around and no call, I call them and they tell me they are running a little behind but they will be out shortly. They keep jerking me around until after 8 with this 4 hours after the latest time they said they would be there. We ended up having to cancel since the renters had small children to get to bed. So thank you Mr. Rooter for leaving me in a worse position than before I called and not coming out when you promised to fix the problem you caused, I really appreciate it.
