I had a small leak as a result of a frozen pipe thawing. While I thought I could temporarily fix it for <$10. On a friend's suggestion, I called Bert's Plumbing for a reasonably priced, permanent fix. From the first phone call, I knew this was going to be a great experience.
They replaced a foot of copper pipe and relocated a shut-off valve away from a draft around my basement's exterior door (even adding some caulk to reduce the draft). Not only did they keep in touch with me throughout the day to squeeze me in as they could, but they were also punctual and thorough in explaining to me what was going to happen, why, and answering various other questions I had.
This was a house we recently purchased, and it meant so much that they even spent some time walking me through my plumbing and water heating system to show me areas of concerns and explain ways I could address it should it be a problem. I've already recommended them to friends should they have any plumbing needs arise.
Bert's Plumbing will always be my first call for any plumbing needs going forward.
