Had an appointment at 8:30am this morning. The technician called at 8:30 amto say he was running late. Followed up with him at 9:30am but no answer. Had to leave a message at the office. When they called back at 10:30am, they said he showed up at 9:10am and when he got no answer, he left a hanging card. No one ever came to my house, no hanging card on the door. Obviously they went to the wrong address. Will not be using this service at all.

I experienced septic and drain issues over the weekend at my elderly parents house. They called me back right away and came within an hour. They were very professional and explained what they were doing and the price. They delivered great service and I was very pleased. I will only use them in the future.

I have used Durham Plumbing many times for a number of different services. They are always responsive, on time, and reasonably priced. I don't call anyone else for estimates on jobs, because I trust Durham Plumbing to show up on time, get the job done efficiently, and stand behind their work.
Durham Plumbing Repair is, frankly, the best! Their new employee Todd has 30 years of plumbing experience and it took him literally one minute to diagnose and fix my drain, which I thought had been plugging up for years. The Studor Redi-vent was the problem; a simple replacement piece under my kitchen sink.

Got a $1600 quote from another company (Quality Service Today -- stay away!!) for a leaky well pipe, then called Durham Plumbing who came the next day and charge $270 for the same job. Highly recommend!

My company has done business with these folks for over 10 years. Until now, they have been responsive and did good work for a fair price. Recently, however, 5 phone calls over 3 weeks leaving messages each time with no response. Called another plumber who came out the next day.

They estimated $250 but charged $550 for a simple tub faucet replacement. The plumber was not good at all. It was supposed to be a two hour job but took the guy close to 7 hours. On the first day he said nothing, drove away leaving the job unfinished and our front door open. We had to call to ask what happened to him and for someone to come back the next day to finish the job. This company used to be very good but apparently has new owners or new management.

Calvin from Durham Plumbing Repair was very professional and very knowledgeable... he fixed several things that he saw wrong with my plumbing situation. He worked fast to get it done and did it proficiently. I would definitely use this company again. Calvin needs to be added to the employee photo I saw on the site as well. He seems like a good employee base off how well he did the work at my house.

Rudy did a great job determining the problem, ordering the part that was still on warranty and then installing it when it came in.
We found a leak in a pipe in one of our walls. Durham Plumbing came out immediately (on a Saturday) and fixed the leak. They were very responsive, professional, and friendly. I would definitely use them again.

They sent someone over for a free quote as soon as I was off the phone, they arrived within 30 minutes and gave me a very reasonable quote (less than half what a big-name competitor had asked for) and then performed the service on the spot, very quickly and cleaned up any mess they made. Definitely recommend!

I contacted three different plumbing companies about a leak in my ceiling. Durham Plumbing Repair responded quickly to my inquiry and said they could send someone out at 8:30 a.m. the next morning. Two plumbers arrived promptly at 8:30 a.m. and worked to diagnose the leak. Within an hour, they had the leak diagnosed and repaired. They had to cut a hole in the ceiling due to the location of the leak and cleaned up afterwards (the company does not do drywall repair, so I will need to find someone separate for that). Overall, it was a great experience and the price charged seemed extremely reasonable! I would definitely recommend this company to others and would contact them again for my future plumbing needs!

Durham Plumbing is terrific - responsive, knowledgeable and efficient service. I have used them for over 40 years and will never stop.
Actually plumber did great work, very nice, no complaints there. The issues were with the office staff, very unprofessional. I had someone come out for a quote, easy and quick, then was ghosted by them for weeks. They would rarely answer the phone (and I called almost every day for a few weeks until I got someone) and would not return my voicemails. It took a bit over a month to get the quote right and set a date for a plumber to do the job. The day came and no one showed up, not even a call from them. I called after about 4 hours waiting at home and got someone who didn't even apologize but said they double booked the guy. We rescheduled and after a 2nd attempt got the plumber out to do the job. Not worth the frustration of the office.

We called Durham plumbing last night and spoke with Winston, this morning he arrived at our house. We knew we had a leak but, we weren’t sure where or how bad. Winston was incredibly knowledgeable, he talked to us about our options, made sure we knew what he was doing, and explained the cause and the fix for the leak. We are incredibly happy with the professional service we received from Winston at Durham Plumbing Repair and we would recommended them to anyone looking for plumbing services. It’s a huge relief to have it fixed!

Price was reasonable, work done when promised, professional and friendly staff. Totally satisfied with past and most recent work. We highly recommend them.
They adequately repaired the shower faucet and replaced the seals in a leaking tub faucet. However, they arrived at 10:20 when they said they would be here at 8:30.
They needed to remove a panel in a wall to replace piping for the shower and used a cheap plastic panel, then sealed it badly, which they are supposed to come back and seal it again.
They put two screws into the older sheet rock and I guess they figured we just wouldn't notice or care as they didn't even cover them with putty.
The faucets work perfectly, but the aspects around the job were not of a high quality.
We tried to use this company to repair a shower. We got a walkthrough and quote in March and scheduled service for mid-April. When they arrived, they said they needed a part, would order, and should be back within a week. For the next 4 MONTHS I called every few weeks to try and get an update on where the repair stood, what was going on. We had three subsequent visits, where each time the plumbers came unprepared, spent a few minutes looking at the problem they had seen weeks ago, and left saying they needed another part. All in all, in AUGUST with our shower still not working, I called another plumber who fixed it in one visit. It's ridiculous that I wasted so much time expecting a fix from this company that showed again and again that they did not want my business.
Durham Plumbing Repair was at my neighbor's house, and I was lucky enough to talk to Matt before he left. He promptly came over to my house to do 2 minor repairs (leaky toilets). I had already talked to another plumber who wanted 4-10 times the amount for repair options. Matt was finished with the work in about 30 minutes.
I will DEFINITELY use them again, if needed! I HIGHLY recommend this company!
