Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

I needed my water heater tank replaced. Technicians James and Jasmin came the same day. They were extremely professional and did the job quickly and neatly. It's been almost a week and everything is working great. Thanks!

I was experiencing recycling water into sump pump for months with no luck in solving. Called Rotor Rooter. James & David came out right away identifying the problem. Then Kevin & Tom arrived. They got down on hands knees & belly to dig down to reach broken pipe by downspout. They finally reached the pipe and was able to make the repairs. It took a lot of effort in fighting all the roots & slade surrounding the job. Kudos to them for not giving up. The dig was deeper than expected. Definitely a 5 star job. Arrived early, assessed my issues and was very informative on additional issues I currently have with water in my basement walls and flooring.

Scheduled to come between 12:15 and 4:15 when they didn't come I called them and they said they were running behind and I was the next call waited didn't show called again said they were comming didn't show8:00 called again said they would call me back finally a call back said they couldn't do it till morning. Ok called me at 7:15 said they'd be there within the hour ok snow 10:00 gave me a good reaming to the tune of 535.00$ to open the drain I thought Jesse James was dead!

Easy to schedule an appointment, especially on a Sunday afternoon. The tech #1392 was professional and friendly. He gave an accurate estimate, provided the plumbing service, and went over invoice and the warranty at the end of his visit. The convenience and trusted name of Roto-Rooter made this an easy choice for my plumbing emergency.

I called first and was told they would diagnostic was free and if they found an issue I would be given an estimate. That wasn't the case. When plumber arrived I explained that I thought I had a possible small build up on vent or stack. He reported they don't do that. Then the guy did exactly what I already did myself. Ran a bunch of water. Flushed the toilets several times and looked at the piping. He found nothing and said I probably solved the problem myself. Then proceeded to charge me $100 plus tax! I shouldn't have paid it since I signed nothing and it wasn't what I was told and they didn't help me. But the plumber himself was a good guy and I knew it wasn't his fault so I paid. Buyer beware. Ask more questions when they arrive!!! Or better yet call someone else! ;)

My sump pump failed and my basement had started flooding during a heavy rainfall. Mud and water were every where but luckily the plumber replaced and installed a new one and the next day the water restoration crew came out. Excellent work and all cleaned and setup to dry within 1.5 hours. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

I had service 2 days in a row and both technicians were fantastic. They walked me through what exactly was going on and let me know rough estimates of prices before performing the work, which was greatly appreciated. They were both polite, efficient, and cleaned up after they were done! My technician on the second day was Joe. Unfortunately I cannot remember the first day technicians name. I will definitely be using them in the future and recommend them highly!

Extremely professional and well mannered person name JASON came on site to fix plumbing issue. He knows his work. Within minutes he found out cause of the issue and within few minutes solved it as well. Every company should have professional like him.

Have used Roto Rooter in the past. They have great quick service. Took minimal time to clear the obstruction in my drain. The tech recommended I have the drain scoped with a camera at no charge. Within the hour another tech showed up with the camera and completed his work explaining the results with me. Recommend.

I called at 6:00 PM and they were here by 8:00 PM. The drain to the street was unclogged by 8:30 and they were packed up and gone by 9:00. I thought that the two-man crew was experienced, very competent, and professional.

Outside faucet extending into crawl space below house needed to be replaced. Job was completed by installer in 51 minutes. My main concern was the charge for labor was $434.24 with the total bill being $689.34 which included tax. Faucet seemed to be installed securely although two holes which aligned with the mortar outside were left empty. Installer said he could not put screws into brick. I have put holes in mortar with a retainer and then put in screws. I paid him full price with a check.

On the Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend my basement toilet and tub decide to back up...all over the place.to To be accurate, I had a slight problem 2 days earlier and hired someone to come snake out the line. .... He started and never finished or.came back! So now Morgan appears...on time... from Roto Rooter and assesses the situation very informatively and professionally. He had his work cut out for him but an hour or so later everything was flowing again as it should be! I had a stubborn bathroom drain block that I couldn't get myself so called Roto Rooter. It was well worth the money. They provided prompt, professional, and reasonably priced service for the almost 2 hours it took them to break through 30 years' buildup of hair. Steven W did a great job, replacing my trap and cleaning up the bathroom better than when he showed up. If I ever have another block, I know exactly who I am going to call.

One of my tenants called me regarding a sink that was clogged. I tried all morning to snake it out with no luck. I called a few places to see if they could come help. We got talked into water restoration services after our main sewer line backed up into our basement. I spent an entire day moving furniture and stereo equipment so the job would be easier for the crew. They got the job done quick, and they had to leave blowers down there for three days. The following morning, my wife was giving my daughter a bath when someone started pounding on the door and repeatedly ringing the doorbell. It scared her so she looked out of the kitchen window, saw it was a roto rooter truck and answered the door. She explained she wasnt expecting him because there was no call or schedule, but he said he needed to check the equipment so she let him in. Later she called the customer service line to complain about what happened, the GM called her back to apologize and said he would make sure he would have someone call when they came the next day and that it was mandatory for the insurance adjuster to have three air moisture readings, and claimed thats why that guy came, not an equipement check. So she waited around all day and no one called or showed up. It appears that Roto Rooter sends out a professional looking and sounding person to convince you to spend thousands of dollars on a service, and once they get your money, customer service goes out the window. The man who came banging on the door was caught on a Ring doorbell which we will be posting to the Roto Rooter Facebook page and youtube after we submit this review. They are completely unprofessional. They left a mess all over my walls and tool boxes. And I'm sure it was intentional that they didn't come back out today, because my wife called to complain. Since the GM stated that the readings were mandatory for the insurance claim, if this in any way effects the claim or prevents us from being covered, we will be seeking legal advice.

I think your prices are a lot on the high side. That being said, Nick L made the experience educational and enjoyable. He was polite and informed and did a great job of cleaning up afterward and being respectful of my house.

Of course it's Sunday and all our drains are backed up. Normally my husband Chuck would take care of this problem but he had open heart surgery 6 weeks ago He was very frustrated but I told him to call a plumber. He found the ad for Roto Rooter in the phone book and called. They came within 45 minutes. The serviceman was excellent. Courteous and very efficient within an hour our plumbing problem was resolved. Had an emergency situation at the house. My kitchen sinks were not draining so I thought it was my main line again. Having the 6 month guarantee on the service they did in December got them out here very quickly (within 2 hours on a Saturday) to do the guarantee work. Unfortunately it was not the main line but whoever put the plumbing in the house before I bought it did not glue or clamp the line and once snaked it pushed it apart and ruined my ceiling. The technician ( not only found the root cause of the problem, stayed late to fix it, and even helped with the clean-up. Definitely went above and beyond the call of duty and they have a customer for life in me.

Last evening we had an issue with our main sewer line backing up into our basement. This is not something you ever want to experience. It also made it impossible for us to use any water in the house. This needed to be fixed quickly. We called Roto Rooter, and they had a technician at our home in less than two hours. Every person we encountered along the way, two dispatchers, Jerome and David, and the technician, Matt, were very personable, polite and helpful. Matt (#103) was very efficient, thorough and professional. He corrected the problem, and we were once again able to use water. We are very thankful to Roto Rooter for the timely response, and to Matt for a job well done!

Think twice before calling them! A tech named Jose came to my house, looked at the water in my bathtub, told me it would be $350 but could be even more because my husband uses drain opener. There was some long explanation about disintegrating steel pipes, yada yada. He said he would probably take apart the sink to clear the clog. As we were talking, it somehow came up that my husband is an Army veteran. Since my husband was at work, I called him to have him send me a photo of his ID to show to Jose. After all this talk about signing waivers, taking apart sinks and such, Jose literally used a plunger on my bathtub drain for 2 MINUTES and cleared the clog, then told me you need a better plunger. Then he wanted me to pay $175 for his 2 minutes of plunging. Seriously. By the way, he hadn't written anything up, no estimate, nor had he given me a waiver to sign. When I said I wasn't going to pay that much for 2 minutes of plunging, he refused to discuss it, went to his van, sat in my driveway and made phone calls. I went in the house and called Roto Rooter and was told I needed to talk to his dispatcher. His dispatcher told me a manager would call me. I waited but the manager never called. I offered the guy $50 to leave, which he still wouldn't accept. Still no call from his manager, although Jose took a call while standing in front of me that was obviously from a work colleague. Finally I paid the guy $70 just to leave because he was making me uncomfortable and my husband wasn't home. Never again!!! Nice way to treat a combat veteran and his family. By the way, the manager still hasn't called.***UPDATE*** The manager called me this morning, apologized, and said my $70 would be refunded. So... in an emergency I might give them another try.

Was doing laundry Sunday. Went downstairs to change a load when I smelled and saw every home owners nightmare. Sewage in my basement!!!! Needless to say I was not too happy. I called my dad right away and without hesitation he suggested I call Roto-Rooter. I did just that and in less than 45 minutes I had Steven W (Tech #1392). Steven was very polite and professional. He answered all of my questions and explained to me in detail what he was going to do. Turns out my main was blocked and needed to be snaked. Had a toilet backup on a Saturday afternoon. They had a very competent tech at my house within half an hour. Manual auger did not fix it; so he pulled the toilet, snaked the stack and reinstalled the toilet within the hour. Great service and lighting fast. Happy customer. A+

Called a plumber for the first time in A LONG TIME. Roto-Rooter call center told me they could have some over within the hour (it wasn't an emergency). Local office called me 15 minutes later and said someone would be over within 20 minutes. Plumber showed up 5 minutes later - Amazing! Plumber - Tomm P. was professional, courteous and explained everything. Clogged kitchen drain is no longer a problem. I will call Roto-Rooter again if/when needed. Worst experience with Roto Rooter over priced and went right to a 8k estimate, used a local plumber after and costs 3 % of what that. Also charged me more for not fixing the problem than when it was fixed by Roto Rooter 2 years ago. Also said if you change your mind your getting this charge again than the 8k. These guys only cared about money

I had to have my sump pump replaced. He got here on time wasn't even here 15 minutes. I was unaware that a sump pump could cost $650 with only 15 minutes work. I'm glad to have it done but my bank account is running low.

My kitchen sink stopped draining, and my own snake was insufficient to clear the line. I also had an outside faucet that had cracked and would leak when on.The plumber showed up promptly, worked quickly, and thoroughly inspected and tested his work. I've actually got another plumber on site today for another issue, and when he was down in the crawlspace noticed the new pipes that had been put in and commented on the quality of the work.[EDIT] Just finished up with my second service call in the last two weeks, and I remain impressed. I woke up to find my refrigerator ice maker, resulting in a small pond forming in my kitchen. When I went to shut off the line, I discovered that was also shot, so the leak continued. Even with having to go into the crawl space to try and clear more slack for the line, and going off-site to get parts, the problem was resolved in less than an hour.

I needed someone to come out ASAP to fix a issue we had with water backing up. I called roto rooter and they were able to send someone within the hour! The plumber went over possible options and costs before starting work and was honest upfront. We did end up having to go with the more expensive option, but it was still pretty reasonable. Dave was the tech they sent, he was quick and even cleaned up a lot of the mess it caused. Thank you!!

After my sewer backed up in my basement I chose to have my basement professionally cleaned by Roto-Rooter. The cleanup crew did an excellent job. The company followed up to ensure that my basement was clean and dry. Everyone involved was knowledgeable, thorough and courteous.

I had a great experience with our Roto-Rooter technician, Frank. He arrived promptly and was both courteous and efficient. He said he could fix the problem, and he did! Good job! I will be calling Roto-Rooter if I have any problems in the future.

The plumber who came out, Gary, was excellent, straight forward, and efficient. Will request him specifically in the future. It did take two days to get someone out, and there was an obvious breakdown in communication somewhere. No one called me to follow up or let me know when they would be coming. It took me making a call again on day one (where I was told they would be out next day), then I had to call around 2pm on day two because I had still not been contacted by anyone, finally it got assigned properly. That was pretty frustrating. They are also a little more expensive then some other people I called, but they did give me a little discount due to the delay, and lack of contact which was greatly appreciated.

Good service, same day service. Was disconnected multiple times trying to call back after confirmation call went straight to voicemail. Service person was generally good. Website stated employees automatically would be wearing a mask but I had to ask him to put one on before entering my home. He then gave me his opinion on the COVID vaccine, which I also could have done without. Will use the service again, just wasn't the interaction that I wanted.

Our sewer was plugged between the house and the street. Called Roto-Rooter at approximately 9:30 AM on a Saturday and was told a serviceman would be there before noon. The service tech (Steve W. tech #1392) arrived on time as promised. Being familiar with the building trades, I gave Steve an accurate description of the problem and he knew exactly what the issue was. After a brief chat, Steve also told me what had caused the problem. I had no other quotes on this job so I have nothing to compare the price to in order to say it was a good value or not.What I can say is this company was very responsive, definitely on time and Steve did a quick job of it with no further problems which I consider good quality work.

I’m writing this review because I received such great service, it deserves attention. For the last 6 months to a year, we have had difficulty with our kitchen sink clogging. Every 2 -3 months I was calling a plumber. We have used another popular local company, the last several times. Every time, the plumber would fix the clog, but the drain was still slow and in a couple months, we were calling again . This was getting really frustrating and expensive. This time, I decided to call Roto Rooter, as I was at the end of my rope. This was THE best decision. Matt O was our plumber and he was professional and courteous. I had a lot of questions and he answered them all and helped me understand what the ongoing problem was and how to fix it. He spent a very long time clearing the drain and making absolute sure that it was working properly. The other company NEVER spent this amount of time. Matt worked diligently and earn cleaned up. Everything was spotless when he left. He told me all about the enzyme monthly treatment , and how that works to help prevent future clogs and educated me on other preventative measures. My service today was great. Rotorooter came out exactly when they told me they would be there and cleared out my clogged sink very quickly. We have a particular drain, which acts up just about every seven years, and has an odd bend that I just cannot snake. This is the third time we have used Roto Rooter for this particular problem. We could not be happier with how quickly Roto Rooter was able to respond. We called a little before 7PM, and the job was done by a bit after 8. The dispatcher on the phone, as well as the plumber (Luciano) were pleasant, personable, and professional. The price, although not cheap, was in line with the after hour rate for a drain snake from any other plumbing service. Luciano left everything in the work area clean and dry.

Let me say this first we have a tankless hot water heater. We noticed it was leaking so we called a few diffrent plumbers to see who was the most affordable to fix it since it was 2 days after Christmas. The First company that came out said that it's not fixable that we needed a brand new one. And couldn't even give us a estimate on the total cost. Roto-Rooted came out told us they could fix it no problem and gave us the total it would cost to fix it beforehand so we knew how much we would need to fix it. Oscar was amazing gave us great tips on how to make our water better for our childrens skin. Like adding a water softener to our water. Replace a old tank type thing that we didnt even know was there. And started a ticket with the water tank company that will keep track of all the work done since the type of tank that we have is known for having issues so that way if we Keep having problems they would replace it. One part that needed to be replaced was our heat exchanger instead of giving us a pricw for a new one he told us to call Navian and see if it is covered under a warranty. We would have never thought to call them seeing most warranty's don't transfer from one owner to another. Due to bad weather they were unable to make it to us the original day we had scheduled so they gave us 75$ off of our bill. What other company would give a discount due to a snow storm? When a new part started leaking a week after they fixed the first leak they came out and fixed it for free even though it was not caused by them it was due to the tank being neglected for years before we bought our home.Oscar kept us up to date on everything he had to do. Like I replaced this piece but this is not working how it should so I have to go get this or we have to wait for the manufacturer to send us this part. And still never charged us more then the price we were given at the beginning. They have life long customer's from us as long as they stay the way they are now with upfront pricing and honest workers!!!

I had a very good experience with Roto-Rooter for their hydro jet service in my basement. My housemates clogged up the pipes by flushing flushable wipes down the toilet so I gave Roto-Rooter a call. The person on the other line was very patient with me and I had no problem at all setting up an appointment to get a quote, which was free of charge. A few days later I arranged for the plumber to come again to actually provide the service and he finished within the hour and was very respectful of my space. The whole experience was very good overall, and I would definitely recommend this to a friend!

I called this company 4-5 days in advance to have them come and do some basement waterproofing and drain tile work. The master plumber shows up 4+ hours late making me waste a half day of PTO just for him to not have the materials necessary for the job. He offered to clean out my drain tile for an absolutely absurd rate at which I asked him to leave. Will never call this company for anything again.

Just got back from vacation. Call around 5pm Kitchen sink plugged water would not drain at all. Girl on the phone was great and said they were very busy but should be there by 7pm. Called again to say they would be there at 8:30. Guy looked tired when he got there said he had a long day. He was great had a tough time snaking out the line but kept on trying. Finally got it. The work done was quick and easy. The service man explained everything that was going to happen. The only down side was the timing. Dispatch and the first person I talked to provided a time frame and the service man was later than the set expectation.

My technician's name was Ken. Ken was very knowledgeable on my issue and even provided me with more information on certain pipes and lines in my house. I appreciate his honesty and helpfulness!!! On a day that was already frustrating (not knowing what was causing my floor drain in the basement to backup), he made it worth it by finding the problem and tips on how to prevent the problem from re-occurring again!!

Main drain was plugged. Basement toilet and shower backed up. Service tech was friendly, efficient, explained the problem and what cost could be before he did the work. Completed job in timely manner and cleaned up after himself.

Our toilet has been making noises and having issues flushing, so we called Roto-Rooter. The plumber Bob was nice, but ultimately did no repair and gave advice. We were charged $125 for the diagnostic charge and were told to replace the flapper. We went out bought and replaced the flapper ourselves as Bob told us to, and the issue is still occurring. We called Roto-Rooter back to explain the same issue is occurring and we did what the plumber suggested to us, we were advised it would still be $125 fee for a plumber to come back out. Disappointed in customer service.

Bob came out within 2 hours of calling, assessed the problems and made appointment to complete all the problems with the toilet, kitchen faucet, and leaking and corroded pipes. Came as scheduled. Completed all the necessary work as promised and in a timely manner. What a great guy and very professional and knowledgeable. Great job.

Price Gauging At Its Finest - Yes they are on time and quick to respond. However, they charge one rate regardless of the time it takes to complete the job. So a clogged kitchen drain that my household snake couldn't reach, took the plumbers 8 mins and cost $325 plus tax. They prey on the fact that you can't fix it yourself, that your kitchen is blown up with standing smelly water, and tell you the price before they do it acting like they have no idea what is wrong or how long it will take. Never could I have imagined that I'd be paying that price for 8 minutes of work. This is plumbing, not surgery. Roto Rooter should be ashamed. Do yourself a favor and go with your local plumber.

The technicians came on time, diagnosed the leak problem, educated me on what the problem was and how to avoid it in the future, fixed the water leak with new parts, everything took 15 mins at the most. Very efficient, I will definitely recommend them.

I've used roto-rooter many times and always had good service. Last Sunday Frank came to my house because water was backing up in my main floor shower and from under the toilet. He was here within the quoted 30 minutes from the time they called me. He was able to get everything working properly again and I couldn't be more pleased with the service.

The technician, Joe Rutkowski, was very polite. Hunted down the problem & was done in under an hour. Very thorough. Will definitely recommend Roto-Rooter 2 others.

I had my bathtub clogged. Their technician came and cleaned the main line and I paid $ 300 for service. My deal was bathtub drain should be clear. Initially it looked like water was draining. But after 30 minutes bathtub clogged again. I called them back but technician showed up next day. The technician demanded another $ 200 for clear the bathtub drain. He said it's different job. Actually that was my main issue I called them and paid for. But he was not honest. That was exact same job I already paid the $ 300. They demand $200 to take care the issue and left. I had to called another company guy to take care the same issues again. I had to pay twice. I think that was not honest business policy. I will never use them again. They took advantage of the situation. I don't recommend them. They should have better business etic.

Paid $1800 for a leak they claimed was fixed. I spent even more fixing the ceiling after they assured me the problem was resolved just for a few months to go by and the leak in the ceiling to come back in the same spot. I called in 5 times to see what they could do for me. They keep telling me that someone will get back to me. Never heard back. Ridiculous prices especially for the results Im dealing with.

I came home early today to my husband complaining about no hot water. He went to work and I went down to light the pilot. Nothing. I called one place that wanted a fee just to come out. I called roto rooter , they had no charge to come and check. The tech, Kevin was amazing. He showed me the problem, gave us a fair price to replace the water heater and took 2 old ones away with him. He did not have to do that. We got immediate service and he made sure everything was set before he left. These are the only people I will call for future plumbing needs. Scott Brown #851 returned the following day to treat the roots in my main sewer line. The treatment is supposed to kill the toots to keep the libe clean. It is recommended to be done on an annual basis. He scheduled the appointment and was on time and had it done in no time. I appreciate his recommendation to hopefully save me more problems in the futurer. This is the fifth time I've relied on Roto Rooter for my drain services in the 25 years we've been here. Highly recomnend this company.

It's seems like there is some communication issues with this company, as operation are not locally taken care of, and you will call, call centers to get information. Rather expensive and theyvreqthey a lot of communication. I own some rental properties and have had many people come in and out of my house without issue. The first person from Roto could not figure out how to get in, even though it's a simple push lock and I went over this when making the call. Th second tech ended up jamming my lock and may be replacing it. I have personally never had an issue nor has anyone else that I have had do work on the house.Too much money, and not easy.

I had an emergency on a Sunday afternoon and Roto-Rooter sent someone out that day. My main line was backing up into my basement. Fun! My service tech, Terrance L was amazing! Extremely friendly, personable and knowledgeable. He got to work right away outside clearing out the line......in freezing cold temperatures! I’m telling you it was COLD!! He kept that friendly demeanor the entire time. After he was all said and done and the backup was fixed he let me know of a potential problem I might be having in the line. He explained what it could be, that it didn’t seem like an urgent fix, where it was and without being able to underground, ballpark potential costs. Overall, I just had a great experience

After a late night sewage back-up, we called Roto-Rooter. They were very responsive, and came right out to assess the situation. Terrance was our service technician, and he was extremely kind and knowledgable. I was surprised that they had time to come out to my house within hours of me calling. I was expecting them to come out the next day or later in the week. I had a backed up drain line coming from a kitchen. I spotted the backup on a Sunday night around 7 pm. They were able to have a technician at my home that night. They showed up around 9 pm and immediately snaked the drain and solved the problem. The technician, Maykol Reyes (#1206), was a real professional and provided good advice as well.

I had a clogged kitchen sink line cleaned by Tom. He did a great job snaking the line, then cleaned up afterwards. About an hour later we noticed a water leak under the sink and he returned within 2 hours to repair the leak. All services were performed in a timely and professional manner. This is the second time we’ve had RotoRooter plumbing services and are very pleased with their service.

Great service and response. Dominic, the technician, was very professional, pleasant and very thorough. He cleared the blockage after full drain cleaning from the outside trap into the house stack and out into the town sewer. I will call RotoRooter again and ask for Dominic. RR is returning this week to do a camera exam of the sewer system for no extra charge. This may show where there are problems and if repair work by me or the town is necessary. There is generally a 2 hour window but that is understandable.I am grateful for RotoRooter - the best and most dependable. Other 24hr competitors don't answer their phone, especially on weekends nor do they give me confidence in them and leave me being jerked a roiund with the price.RotoRooter is right up front and you can depend they will do the job right!

On a Saturday afternoon I ran into problems correcting a leaky toilet so I called Roto Rooter. They dispatched a technician and he arrived wirhin an hour of my call. I foeget his name, but he introduced himself and was very courteous. I explained the issue and he assessed the situation. He explained the options clearly and thoroughly. He had the parts needed and went right to work. He completed the necessary repairs in an orderly fashion and left the work area spotless. His professionalism impressed me and I will not hesitate to call Roto Rooter again. .

Steven (1392) was knowledgeable and plasant. He is a great professional. However, gentleman on a phone during the initial conversation gave receiving information about the services. He claimed that there is no cost for the estimate.

ServiceTech (Terrance Leslie) showed up as scheduled and assessed the situation. He advised me that on top of cleaning out my sanitation sewer pipe to also make access to the vent pipe which was covered in my garage because of an addition that I built in the garage. It was easy access to it and he ran a cutter down into it and removed some tree root that was in there. Problem solved, flows like a charm. He was very courteous, professional & helpful. I would recommend him to anyone.

I called roto rooter because my drain was clogged. It was a 30 year old pipe that had rusted in on itself. The plumber came in a timely manner and replaced the pipe. The job took about an hour to complete. I always call roto rooter with any emergency repairs and have been satisfied with their work.

Your service agent was very prompt after I called. He (Dave K 4527) was very knowledgeable. I feared he wouldn't be able to snake both ways from the outside vent, but he showed me a special curved end piece that allowed him snake down in both directions. He showed me the mass of roots, including a larger pencil-size root he pulled out. The price was reasonable given the quick response and results. I even got to use an Angie's List discount. I wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend Roto-Rooter to anyone that asks.

I was very satisfied with the work rendered by your team. Roto Rooter is quick to respond. The storm drainage system underneath my house had corroded. They came out and assessed the situation, were very thorough in an explanation of the plan, scheduled excavation within 48 hours, and finished in a day. They had to remove a part of the sidewalk but saved my bushes. They re-routed the drainage from my sump pump and tied it all in nicely. And the workers were very pleasant and professional.

If I could give negative review I would. They have delayed my appointment twice after I kept telling them that it’s urgent. On the third time I asked if they could sent me a confirmation email so I can show my tenant that they are coming but the lady said they can’t and I told her they previously sent me confirmation so why can’t they now and the lady literally says well sir it’s not us we can’t do anything about it and was being rude the whole call and due to the unprofessional I literally cancel my third appointment oh yea also on the third appointment they said they would come in 11 but then they delayed it again until 3pm. I placed a call to them this morning and they were out at my house within two hours for my upstairs shower that was clogged. Everyone I spoke to was very friendly and the tech Luciano who came to fix the problem was very professional and did the job fast and answered all my questions. I'd like to start with the staff that handled my phone calls, these employees were the friendliest, accommodating customer service reps I have EVER had spoken with. Im not sure where you find them or train them but these people are what EXCELLENT customer service looks like. Matt Orban service technician #103 that came to my house was was one of, if not THE BEST repair guy to ever set foot in my home. I just bought my house and it was in need of some repairs and in the past 6 months I have encountered some NIGHTMARE human beings calling themselves handymen (which is what led me to try and repair my bathroom leak myself, I was fed up with poor work and expensive prices) Matt Orban has restored my faith in hiring a big name repair person to fix my problem. He gave me an estimate as well as options without any obligation to getting the repairs done through Roto Rooter (in case I wanted to shamelessly try again) however I decided to have him do the work. He was in and out of my house in less than 2 hours and cleaned up after himself. Obviously he was not responsible for replacing the tiles so keep in mind the photos are for the pipe and faucet work only. Matt walked me through every step of the way, was polite as well as on time and efficient in his task.Because of Matt Orban not only will Roto Rooter have a customer for life I will do my best to recommend this company to any and everyone I can. Thank you to the whole Roto Rooter staff from start to finish this was the best experience with a repair company I have ever encountered and even though it was under terrible circumstances everyone made an unbearable situation manageable.

First appt a guy came and thought he fixed the problem. He left and within 45 mins, 4pm, the problem started all over again. I called and they said someone would be back within 2hrs. After 2 hrs, 6pm, I called and spoke with a very unprofessional, nasty guy in dispatch. He told me his guys leave at 6:30 and he didn't know if or when someone would be out. Web site states 24/7 service. At 10:45pm the same dispatch guy calls me to tell me no one was coming until the next day. Meanwhile, I had another plumber look at the situation but not touch anything, roto rooter started the job and they should finish. I tried to explain to the guy from dispatch what the problem was so he could leave a note for the tech since I wasn't sure I would be home the next day. He said all he could do was tell the tech to do a thorough job. The next day, thankfully I was home when the tech got to my home and the problem was exactly what I tried to explain to dispatch. The tech fixed the problem and was very kind. The dispatch was ridiculous and the way he treated me I would NEVER use them again or suggest to anyone! Horrible.

Only had to replace a wax seal for a leak, but technician was very helpful in providing info and answered all my questions i had. He was very curtious and even told me that my shut off valve didnt work when i had no idea. Unfortunately to fix that was a little over budget for me but i was grateful that he informed me off the issue. Came out, had some tree roots in the sewer line that backed up -- they cleared it up for us. Recommended next steps, but wasn't pushy about it whatsoever.Problem though: I washed my hands as soon as he left and noticed the water pressure was bad. Went to check the basement , and turns out the tech left all of the water faucets running in the basement and did not clean up whatsoever. So while he fixed the big problem, it could have created another problem had I not double-checked everything.

Yearly cleaning and scammed my credit card. NEVER quoted amount and said, I will charge you the same as last year. Last year I had a major back up issue and this year a simple yearly clean out. I have video of all visits! I asked, do you know the amount and he said, I have it in the records.

We had a clogged main line...on Xmas Eve. As the problem carried through the holiday, nothing I did on my end (snaking, line cleaner, etc) was working, and none of our bathrooms were functional.We made an appointment online while unwrapping gifts - its was really easy. Our tech Tom (Tomm P 1075) arrived right at 8:30am as scheduled, and in less than 20 minutes had our lines open & my pregnant wife happy again! Completely disappointed with very poor customer service. Was having issues with my tub and sink draining. Set up 3 appointments with them and waited for almost 10 hours for them to show up for nothing. The first day I waited 4 hours for the window they gave me. They called me after I put my son to bed so I had to cancel, the second time after waiting 3 hours they called me to tell me that they still had 15 people ahead of me, then today I waited for almost 2 and a half hours, called dispatch and was on hold for over 12 minutes. What's the point of making an appointment if you just show up whenever you feel like it? This is extremely unprofessional. I've been without a working shower at my house for a week and because I didn't call a different plumber it's still not fixed

This was a really easy solution to a stressful problem (main line issue). I used the online system to book our SAME DAY appointment (faster than I was able to get a call back from our trusted plumber). Although they missed the two hour window, I got a call letting me know they were running behind, then the promised call before the technician arrived. They actually rerouted someone who was in my area to get to my appointment sooner. The gentleman was polite, fully masked and COVID-friendly. He completed the work efficiently, and told me the price ahead of time. They also had someone come out with a camera to look in the line and explain what the situation was. Overall, very satisfied. And happy they have a 6 month guarantee on their work too.

Called them for a plugged bathroom shower and toilet backing up from the sewer.Service technician arrived work for about 35 minutes. Told me the problem was solved. I asked him should I flush the toilet to make sure it still works? He said no it's fine. I took care of it. As he was driving away. I flushed the toilet. It backed up as did the shower again. I called the main office they said oh we'll have him come back right away. He did not return 12 hours later. Still waiting for service. Keep getting the runaround. I've asked for a refund. Was told I have to wait till Monday even though they just charged my credit card today for work not completed.

Came out quickly and finished the job quickly. However, we never got a call saying that they were on their way despite requesting one. Also they seem a little pricey, but I don't know how they compare to the cost of other companies.

First of all the technician (Frank) came right away and solved the problem with an hour. We had been dealing with-raw sewage for two days in our basement. He kindly explained why our efforts were in vain and were actually making the problem worse. Bob and Dan were awesome. Had clog in drain pipe going out to city storm drain. Sump pump couldn't pump water out so it just kept cycling. They were able to camera trace the line to where the clog was. Dug out and replaced piping. Reattached to city storm drain and put in T cleanout with bubbler. Sump pump is now working as normal. No more fear of it burning out. Thanks Roto Rooter!

I had read many bad reviews once I decided to have them do my work, I still decided to give them a shot. I had a main sewer drain problem, the repair that they did was nothing like they described and they only did about half the work they promised. I am very Unsatisfied With the work that was done. In my opinion, I would go somewhere else for your plumbing needs.

Root-Rooter came to help our family after our downstairs toilet backed up. We were given a two hour arrival window, but we only waited about 20 minutes before a technician was at our house. A young man named Tom (1075) was extremely efficient and knowledgeable. He was professional and courteous throughout our dilemma.

Steve arrived to apply a root treatment to the sewer drain. Evey time I have previously called Roto Rooter to come out, it has been a tree root issue, tenants flushing wipes or feminine products and has been costly. They informed me about this preventative application which was only $100 so I decided to give it a try. Steve, like all the other technicians, was courteous, capable and a gentleman. I have recommended Roto Rooter to neighbors and have always been satisfied with their service. It was my second night in my new home and my basement drain began to overflow. I put a call into Roto-Rooter and they sent Steve W to my residence. This young man was very informative and did all he could to remedy the problem. I would use Roto-Rooter again just based on this trip alone.

I had a very positive experience. I had to have an eight foot spot repair on my main sewer line near the foundation. Dan did a great job with the estimate and explaining the repair needed. Mike and Chad did an excellent job completing the repairs, with minimal impact to my yard, despite completing the work in the rain. I would highly recommend this company.

The technician did an awesome job, however he didn't send me an email of the duties he performed. He wrote it on paper but I specifically asked him to email me so I can send the information to my in laws. Well, you can't have everything in this world. That's why heaven is worth striving for! Worst service ever!!!!!! Called a plumber because my ceiling was pouring water from the upstairs toilet into my dining room. Took 3 hours to come. Large damage to my property. Plumber first quoted me $1800 for a broken pipe. When he asked if I could pay and I told him no. He then comes back and says it was a clogged toilet. Took another 2 hours to “fix”. The next morning water pouring into the ceiling again. This time completely destroyed my floors and walls. Another plumber came out. This one said the first didn’t snake the toilet all the way or properly set my toilet. Thousands of dollars in damages. Not satisfied at all.

Bob did a great job on replacing my water heater. He looked it over and told me what I needed and gave me an accurate estimate. My tank was very old so it needed a few things updated as well. He replaced everything and took out the old tank. He was very professional and made sure I knew how to shut things off and adjust anything if needed. I needed a valve to be replaced on a water line leading into my refrigerator. The valve was shot and would not stop water from filling the ice machine in my fridge. I am 100% satisfied with the service received. Although it was not an emergency, the technician arrived within 30 minutes of the call (was given a two hour window). Clog was removed from the drainage sewer and tested for correct water flow. The technician continued the unclogging multiple times just to confirm that all blockage was removed. I recently had the pleasure of working with a fantastic plumber, Trey, to help with a clogged drain in my home. From start to finish, my experience was outstanding. I feel completely taken advantage of. I had a part replaced in my shower valve that took the technician less than 40 min. My water wouldn't turn off so I didn't have the time to get my regular plumber. I thought I might pay a little more for the convenience but not to the tune of $415.00 to change a part that cost $85.00 marked up. The labor was $295.00 . When I called the company the answer was we have a flat rate?????? all I can say is SHAME ON YOU! DON'T CALL ROTO-ROOTER. The one star is because he did get the shower working.

Dakoda quickly took over and assessed the situation and didn't waste time putting a plan into action. The dig/excavation crew (Jim and John ) who showed up 2 days later to make the major repair was also excellent. Our apartment building was without hot water for two days. The repairman walked into a plumbers nightmare from past repairs that were shoddy to say the least. Roto-Rooter was the ONLY company and or person that we called out of plumbers all around the area that actually had someone there to answer the phone and respond within a few hours of the call. We were unable to use our water or toilets because of the clogged sewer and in a 5 person household, that just can't happen. They came out on the weekend at night and were able to free the blockage and with the knowledge, tell us what he felt was the underlying cause of it. Ultimately being able to have another person come out the next day with a camera to diagnose the issue and within the next day, had a crew out to dig up and replace the P trap that had rusted out and and blew a hole through which was causing our sewer line to not connect to the main sewer. We did not have the $ for such a huge job but we're able to get approved on a Sunday for a fixed rate loan so that that could expedite fixing the problem. And they were able to get it completed within a few hours.

Service tech, Daniel came on Christmas day to help us with a major plumbing issue that affected our bathroom, kitchen sink and utility sink. He was EXCELLENT. On Christmas Day, he stuck with us til he found the issue and made sure it was fixed. He was informative, helpful, professional and friendly. Plus, the company doesn't charge any extra for holiday service calls, same price 365 days a year. I highly recommend this company for your Roto Rooter needs!!!!

First, they were able to come out the say day I called which was awesome when all other local plumbers seemed to be on a 4-5 day backup. Second, I have been in the house 20 years and did not know where the main cleanout was located. Even after getting measurements from the Town, still could not find it; Bob found it, straightened it and began his work. Third, for what seemed like an easy one, the snake was stuck twice in the roots in the line, but an hour later, he was able to clear out enough of the roots to create water flow. Lastly, not satisfied that I would be satisfied, he arranged for a camera service the next day to make sure we do not need more work for the long term drainage. Awesome, professional, kind and informative. Bob (and RotoRooter) get 5 Stars from me!

The technician had the task of replacing the wax ring on the toilet to prevent a small leak from making its way to the basement. He was kind and profesional; he completed the job without any problem and was on his way. The technician (Lonnie) that came out was very friendly, respectful, professional, and talked us through everything. He flushed the pipes and gave us some great tips for things to do in the future. The only issue was that they weren't able to come at our scheduled time. But, it wasn't a major issue, they came the next day and Lonnie more than made up for it! 5-stars for Lonnie!

Located plugged sewer line clog with a quikness tech was very informative and did a great job

The dispatchers on the phone kept us in the loop as to when we would see a tech come. We had an emergency situation. Dave came first and was so friendly and professional. When we found out we weren't getting anywhere in the dark searching for the air pipe for our main sewage line in a frozen yard, he helped us move our service to the morning time. The next tech that came was just as pleasant to work with. He found two sneakers and a bunch of other objects that neighborhood kids had stuffed into our pipe. He gave us a new lid for the pipe that could be screwed in securely so we hopefully wouldn't deal with this blockage again. He also gave us good recommendations for other drainage questions we had. Both techs gave us the estimate before beginning work and were the most personable guys on the planet!

Good service. When auger snake did not clear rain gutter underground pipe blockage, a water jet was then used. Plumber was able to diagnose a bigger problem with a broken cast iron riser pipe. Blockage was cleared for now until that issue and the digging it would require could be dealt with at my convenience.

Called for a problem on Saturday with a clogged drain. The initial estimated wait time was 4 hours but they are able to respond in one hour.Terrance Leslie, the he technician (#319) was efficient and professional and efficient and was able to resolve the problem quickly.

Nick did a very good job. He worked hard and was honest. I like that they come and give an estimate without charging you 100 dollars.

So, gave 3 stars not because of work performed, but because apparently since last time I used them they have turned into a quota based business.I have used them several times in the past and have not had any pushy sales pitch. Have a older house that obviously has older pipes that are showing their age. Original plumber that came out was nice and was able to clear the blockage in less than 5 minutes. Asked if I wanted to have him have a camera guy come out so he could verify that he cleaned all of it out. Should have known better because this cost extra in the past. Camera guy came out in his nice brand new Ford PU and could tell as soon as he got there he was looking to repair the problem. Tried to scare me into going for the repair by saying that because of what he saw , the warranty on the work would be voided and was adamant to the plumber that he marked it that way when I didn't agree on the repair right away. I'm not stupid and I understand that things can happen unexpectedly, but don't be pushy with me because now you have lost a longtime customer because I hate pushy sales people.

On Christmas Eve, our main water line to the road became clogged. Given the holiday, I wasn't sure if it would get fixed before Christmas. I called roto Reuter at 0600. They had a tech out to us by 0800 and the problem fixed by 0900. Quick, professional, would recommend to a friend. Even on a holiday. Thanks, Bob!

We had to have Roto-Rooter come back out, shortly after our 6-month warranty was up, today. The pipes in our house, combined with our autistic daughter liking to put wipes down the toilet, makes for a mess every so often. We joked with Brandon that we have Roto-Rooter on speed-dial! Brandon was very professional and encouraging, and understood our frustrations of having to have Roto-Rooter come out again due to whatever technical difficulty, be it wipes or pipes, it was this time. He could sense our stress level and was very empathetic. While here, he also was a gem with our daughter and was very patient while answering all of her questions as to what he was doing. He worked efficiently, patiently, and was extremely professional in all areas. But what caught me most was his awesome demeanor with our daughter and the expediency of his visit. He accomplished the need today and then worked with my husband to discuss future plans, including sending a camera man out to continue researching the depth of our piping issue from the house to the street. He gave us options and allowed us time to discuss them between each other before making any quick decisions. I was able to rely on roto rooters. 8pm on saturday night my sewer line backed up into my basement. They were at the house within an hour. And they got this quickly resolved. Steven tec # 1392 was very helpful. He informed me that baby wipes were being flush down the toilet and i was able to address this with my 4 year old. So this doesnt happen again. Thankful that they are available 24/7/365 you never know when we will need them again.

The whole process was great. I called on a Sunday when my basement was flooding and they arrived within 1 hour and helped fix the problem causing the flooding. Also recommended a pipe shield that will help keep our lines clear going forward. If you are having any sort of issue these are the people to call!

Like any self respecting emergency, it occurred on a Sunday afternoon late. I found the waterline coming into the house was leaking just before the water meter. I contacted Roto-Rooter and they said they could get us a service call shortly. After a little more than an hour later, the plumber showed up. He explained the problem to me and what he would need to do. He installed the new part and restored our water. He was quick, efficient, and professional the whole time. My wife and I really appreciated the quick response. Roto-Rooter is definitely our go to plumbers.

Quick response: I called 8pm, they came 8am next morning. Guy was polite and put on shoe covering and ppe. He asked a few quick questions about the problem, then he got right to work. Done in about an hour, pulled out a clump of tree roots with his machine.Very polite and efficient. I'm glad I called.

David (#978) was excellent! Although running a few minutes late, he apologized and got right to work. He was a great listener while at the same time utilized his expertise. He had my drain clear in about an hour. He gave me tips and also explained exactly what he was doing every step of the way. He got my drain running as best as he could, given the condition of my drain line. Although pricing was a bit higher than competition, these guys are the real deal! I hope I don't need service any time soon, but if I do, roto-rooter will surely be my go-to!

My sewer line had backed up in my basement which was a nightmare. Roto-Rooter sent a plumber out within 30 minutes of my call on a Saturday. He checked the situation and found that there was a snake in my vent pipe in my yard. He was calm, courteous, and assured me that he would be able to deal with the situation (and the snake). Outstanding service! I had a clog in my main drain pipe in the basement. I called at 7:03am and they were here by 8:30am. Guy was very helpful and informative explaining the likely cause and how I can prevent future clogs. They also warranty their work for 6 months. Be prepared for a fairly steep bill but you get what you pay for!

Horrible experience. First they showed up 45 min after the time given we were told 9am-1pm...tech didnt show up till 1.45pm. Not only could they not find the issue but the tech then dug a hole in my front yard big enough to put your foot in. No marking to indicate said hole or caution tape...I have 2 kids by the way so this was definitely an issue. Only giving one star because no stars isn't an option.

Nick was amazing did a very through job, located the problem and fixed it in no time. He cleaned up and really went the extra mile to get my drain unclogged on a Sunday. Very courteous young man. I would request Nick to come back to my house if I ever have this problem again.

What I thought was just a delayed response to the youngest member of our household flushing a quarter of a roll of paper towels from cleaning up a mess ended up being a concrete pipe cracked on top of its entire length. Two large root clogs blocking more than 80% at both ends of 15 feet of piping outside of the house didn’t help either.First gentleman was on site less than 3 hours of initially making the call and identified the problem as not being a simple root or waste clog within 30 minutes. He called for a camera inspection in order to clearly determine the issue. Guy was there in less than 90 minutes. He asked me if I wanted to watch (from a safe social distance) the inspection camera on screen. He explained what he saw and helped us to understand the necessity of the repair. 36 hours later, another gentleman showed up first thing in the morning in order to get us flowing again.These guys work hard and are there when you need them. No nonsense. Respectful, professional service.My family has been taken care of every time we’ve needed to call.

We had a drain that was backing up into our garage. We called Roto-Rooter and they were there within 30 minutes. They were extremely knowledgeable and figured out the problem quickly. The back up was fixed and they were gone in less than an hour with no mess left behind. Plus the repair comes with a warranty. I would recommend them to anyone.

Rotorooter came and cleaned out my mainline after hours. Because of course whose drain backs up between 9-5. The tech Andy was quick to respond and came and explained everything he would do and cost before doing any work he was very professional and courteous. He then what I thought was very quickly got to work and in no time had my plugged drain working. I would definitely call them again and recommend them to anyone who needed work done.

I called Roto-Rooter to unclog the bathroom in my office, 4 of their technicians came and sent over 20 feet of cable to the pipe, the cable got stock and they couldn't remove it , they cut the cable and left. Another compony charged me $6400 to reroute the pipes and fix the mess the Roto-Rooter made. My building And the plumbing is only three years old.I emailed Pat Swanson and he didn't do anything. The worst company ever. Roto-Rooter delete all the negative comments on their Facebook account.

When I told him about a complicated outside issue I was having, he paged his colleague Mike D., who, within minutes, was able to complete a job that a competitor could not do. My wife and I just bought a house and we were having a problem with water draining. Gary came to the house and was able to figure out that there was sludge build up in the pipes so he called Rey out the same night and was able to blast it out with some high pressure water. Gary and Rey walked us through each step before they did anything and told us if they couldn't get it done one way, they would find another. We are very happy with the service that Gary and Rey provided to us and everything is working perfectly now.

Plumber was not confident that he could clean the line, called the town to suction the line and still charged me $400 plus dollars. Plumber had another worker come to use a camera down the lines to tell me the cost of repair, but no need for repair as of now. He told me if he tried it and he couldn't get it done it would be $200 plus dollars and $400 plus dollars if job was completed. I guess the town coming to suction everything out was plumber completing the job. Total rip off, plumber knew that I could of called the town for help and instead of him being honest he chose to charge me anyways.Grateful this nightmare is over with having a plumbing issue. Having to dish out money or not. Lesson learned call your town sanitation/sewage department first and than a plumbing company.

Extremely happy with the repair, but very unhappy with the cleanup,I felt the pay loader person could have been much more responsible with the finishing touches. He destroyed more shrubbery than was necessary, and also hit my siding. Mud was piled hap hazardly and all over the lawn. The plumber was just fantastic

One of their plumbers worked on my basement sink with leaking water lines. Instead of fixing the leak, he forced on the replacement line, ruined the faucet fittings, and left without me knowing.

The plumber who came was very helpful and used several techniques to identify the exact source of the issue. After discovering the source, he suggested a solution and then performed it with no errors. He was extremely professional and I would be lucky to have his assistance again if I have any more issues in the future.

The work was performed as expected, they cleared my plugged sewer line. Dave S was cordial and did a great job. The scheduling could have been a little better. They were supposed to have someone out between 9-11PM. After no one came by 12AM I had to call and found out the assisgned technician was still working on a previous job and was delayed. It would have been better if they had at least called me back and told me of the delay.

Came home one night to find sewage filing up the utility tubs in the basement after a shower. Since my daughters have a play room in the basement you could smell it the second you walked into the basement. Called at 5pm, and they were at my house within 2 hours. They do not charge for emergencies and the process was very easy. The tech showed up and was very friendly, and within an hour the main line was working like new! Scott came out after hours on a Sunday to snake out our mainline. He was very courteous and professional. Recommended some products that may help me with my root problem.

Due to drainage issues with a couple of my downspouts, had Roto-Rooter out to clear/flush drains that go to the bubblers in the lawn near the street. Bob Warham worked diligently for hours to clear the drains of tree roots and debris, part of his equipment actually broke off when it hit a huge tree root. Despite his work, the drain on one side of my house could not be cleared (I watched him and I know he tried), so, I contracted to have Roto-Rooter back 2 days later to hand dig and clear out the drain pipe and pressure jet the drain line and sanitary sewer - a different tech/plumber, Jim, worked diligently and cleared the problem (at least for now) I spent approx. $2,000 to have all this work done ( an unexpected shock) but I know the work was done right, they were honest, the techs/plumbers were very professional and hard working. Bob from Roto-Rooter is great. He's professional, friendly and explained in detail the likely issues and process with our cleanout. Our washtub in the basement had backed up. We called late at night and Roto-Rooter scheduled us for the next morning. They arrived on time as promised, calling ahead to let us know they were on the way. During the cleanout by Bob, another rep, Dakota, examined the pipes with a high quality camera. It showed where the sludge had built up and confirmed there were no roots or other debris in the pipe. Bob then finished the cleanout and we confirmed success by filling all the sinks, draining them at the same time, flushing all the toilets as well - and you could hear the whoosh through the house piping and even out in the yard where the cleanout was. Great service, friendly and experienced crew. You fear the worst when you make emergency calls like this but these guys are great and I'd call them first for my plumbing needs.I'd recommend them any time as they exceeded my expectations. Great experience with Roto Rooter. Came out on a Sunday for emergency. Arrived very quickly. The plumber that showed up (Daniel) was great easy to talk to found problem quickly and took care of it. Cost was suprisingly reasonable to for an emergency on a Sunday.

The plumber that came to the house was pretty good. I called for service on a Sunday and they came promptly to assess the issue with my garbage disposal. The disposal had to be replaced, and he made an appt with me for the next day, which was ok. However, the dispatchers at Roto Rooter rescheduled our appt 3 days in row, after I called to confirm each day, which was obviously disappointing. A job that could have been fixed in an hour took a week. I complained and received a $75 discount, but i would not used them again.

Mike Marks came and cleared our blocked kitchen and utility drains. He was personable, efficient and conscientious. He explained to us exactly what he was going to do, exactly what it would cost and did exactly what he said he would. Mike took great care to cover his feet (unnecessary is this messy home, but appreciated), and the wheels of his pipe snake cart. The cost was just slightly above average, but the service and care were definitely above average. Mike even took care to replace the undersink items he removed to do his work. Well done, Roto-Rooter. I will use them again, and request Mike.This company offers 24 hour service, and reportedly does not charge extra for coming at night or weekends. That's a big reason to use them right there.

Called these guys twice in the past two months; once for a faucet installation and leak and the other time for a sewage backup in the basement. Both times they responded quickly and were here the very next day. Both times the guys were extremely professional, were honest and straightforward with the possible complications and how much it would cost. And both times they fixed our issues with no problems. Will call them again for any issue we have in the future.

I called Roto-Rooter for standing water in the basement and a plumber was dispatched and here within the hour. Nick Ludlow was the plumber who did the work and I couldn't have asked for a more courteous, informative and patient person. He was very diligent in checking all the drains until he found where the clog was. In the end he apologized to me because the job was longer than he thought. We just had a sewer back-up problem - water all over the basement after doing a load of wash! I called Rotor Rooter and Terrance Leslie, the service technician, was at my house within one hour of the call. The problem was resolved very quickly after Terrance rotor-rooted the drain. Worked really hard to clear out main line, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was draining properly, access damage and clean up. Called Roto-Rooter for a clogged basement floor drain. From the moment the reception answered my call she was pleasant and helpful. I had asked for a tech to maybe come the next day, but she said oh no I can have one to you within the hour. We were thrilled with the service we received from Roto-Rooter. Steven W. provided us with excellent service. He was on time, efficient, and solved all our problems. Just the week before we used another local plumber that apparently did not solve our issue. So even though we had to pay twice to solve our problem, we now know that Roto-Rooter is the one to call, and they have a 6 month warranty as opposed to the other company which was for only 30 days. Maykol, technician #1206 did an excellent job after our basement flooded. He came out and spent a Sunday afternoon / evening installing a new sump pump and a back-up sump pump. He took the time to explain to me how it all works and how to perform maintenance. He was very courteous and professional. I would definitely recommend Roto-Rooter and Maykol!

This is why I think most google reviews are controlled & fake. I called these people on Saturday and now the end of Tuesday I STILL haven’t seen this so called tech they promised me no later than Sunday. No communication, this dispatcher doesn’t care and has no compassion. Every time I called she seemed like I put her out and bothering her giving me the attitude that it’s pretty much left to ‘we’ll get there if we can’ which in my scenario I have learned means never. Roto Rooter, please answer me this- how are you successful if this is how you conduct business? I’m floored at how many positive google reviews there are which has to be bull. Flooded basements, clogged drains are usually time sensitive and you did absolutely nothing for me. Your business tactics are disgusting and I will never use you and never recommend your company. What’s the point of 24 hour service when you can’t even come out after 3 days?! Thank god I decided to drain my own basement because it would’ve molded up and made my family sick by now. This company is a joke.

We had rising water coming up in our basement bathroom the night before our daughters birthday party. We called Roto-Rooter at 10pm and we had someone at our house 30 minutes later. Terrance Leslie was the savior of our party. He was very up beat and personable, he made sure the drain was clear, and gave us tips to keep it maintained. He made a horrible situation into a very positive story. If we ever have an issue again we won't hesitate calling again and ask for Terrance again. He made us a customer for life.

My plumber showed up at the scheduled time and completed my repair as expected. I couldn't be more happy with the work he completed and he left no mess behind for me to clean up. I thought the price was a little higher than what I was expecting, but I have never claimed to be a plumber myself, so the fact that it ended up being the price I was quoted was acceptable by me.

We had a pipe burst over the weekend and we were very relieved that Roto had some appointment times available to help us quickly that day.Unfortunately, that's where the positive stops. Our time was pushed back almost instantly, and then I spent all of a Saturday sitting around, having to call off of work- it was getting to be past that time frame again. No one showed.I reschedule for Monday and our time was pushed AGAIN and then our tech Deric (who was very kind and communicative, unlike the rest of the company) had not received any ticket info on our appointment by 11am- when our time was 8a-12p. I had to cancel and go with a different contractor that I could trust would be on time and efficient.I frankly felt like my schedule and time was wasted, I was not heard or respected. I will not be using or recommending Roto for anything in the future.

We had water backing up in our basement this morning, and in less than one hour the Roto-Rooter man came and cleared the drain. Joe, the technician they sent, spent time talking with us about the sewer line to the street and how old homes such as ours (1929) might develop problems, especially given our history. He spent a lot of time helping us clear the clog that was the culprit. Very professional.

Our Tech Terrance Leslie did a fantastic job on Thanksgiving Day! We were in a panic with a clogged kitchen drain on one of the biggest cooking days of the year! I called first thing in the morning after I discovered a burst pipe in my basement. The person on the phone was friendly and very helpful. They had someone out to my house early afternoon. I have to say I am super impressed!!!! My basement sinks were clogged (super disgusting) due to lint building up over YEARS (who knew you needed a lint trapper?!!?) I went to their site Monday, scheduled an appointment 8-10am THE NEXT DAY! Received confirmation and that someone will call me within 30 min. before they come. RING RING Tuesday morning 7:22am, they were on their way! Bob showed up on time, figured out the issue and fixed it, very pleasant experience. When you have something pretty gross going on and you're embarrassed you worry about having someone come, but I have to say, I felt comfortable with the service (whether he wanted to comment on the mess or not, he did not) fixed it and gave me a deal! I can't speak on price because I am unsure how much something like this would cost, but I feel regardless, you also pay for promptness and professionalism.

Called Monday at 10:30 am. tech (1392 ) arrived at 12:00 pm let me know upfront what it would cost . Snaked out laundry drain from in the house twice without success ( he waited patiently while we filled the washer so we could test the drain properly ). went to the outside access for the drain and made third attempt. Again waited for the washer to fill completely. Third time did the trick. Polite, professional and, worked clean.

Called Saturday morning for an appointment with a Roto-Rooter plumbing specialist to repair damage to the In-Sink-Erator drain and leakage by the faucet. Within 3 hours, Steven W. (Tec# 1392) arrived at our home, viewed the case, and gave a most informative advice as to best solution. We accepted his suggestions for replacement parts. After one hour, Steven returned with the parts and had the installation of these completed in one additional hour. The workmanship showed the marks of an expert plumber. Everything functions to the fullest of our satisfaction. Overall, the service provided by Steven and the Roto-Rooter team is rated as outstanding.

Tre was prompt, courteous and professional! The clog took some extra effort but he got everything flowing again perfectly! We even talked a little Bills football.. I would recommend your service and Tre again for sure!! A bit expensive but I get it….

The plumber I normally use was closed and I needed service same night. Roto rooter came, sent a very good guy to my house and fixed the issue. Gave me some pretty good advise for the future.Only issue I ran into was making the call, went through a non local call center then returned my call back to me with the same area code as my phone which has an area code across country and normally won't answers calls from that area code. Asked why, couldn't give me an answer.Anyways, service was quick with a good dude.

Serviceman had to return a second time to fix problem.We had a gas leak and called Roto-Rooter because of the good reviews. The service was good, but serviceman didn't do a pressure test at the end to make sure the leak was resolved. When the gas company came to check, the leak was still bad and it took us 3 more days without has in the Buffalo cold to get the problem resolved. This could have been avoided if the guy checked the leak at the end. They were also not cheap.

The R R techs came in and found the source of this 15 year nightmare!!!! So grateful to them both. The labor was more than the job!!! Thank You Roto Rooter❤️

Contacted roto rooters for a simple flex line to be uninstalled.. my appointment was 330 pm... no tech showed so I called by 4. They told me it was a 2 hour window... was never told that previously. Ok 6 comes around still no tech so I call they say hes running behind. I reschedule to 12 to 2 the next day i missed a call with them i called back 7 minutes later for them to tell me oh well they sent him somewhere else they'll contact me when THEYRE ready. Completely unprofessional. I called a different prestige company they're on they're way out. They were just nasty and rude unprofessional and the manager was even worse . I do not recommend.

Had to have my outside faucet replaced after it had cracked during the winter. Luciano was my service tech and was extremely professional. Diagnosed the problem in a timely manner, explained what needed to be done and completed the task quickly and cleaned up after himself. This is the second time I have used Roto Rooter and they are very easy to work with and can take care of a problem immediately. Will work with them again.

Called Roto-Rooter to come out from recommendation from water mitigation and they came out to house in timely fashion and technician was nice and all but after leaving us with his recommendations and estimates we were given a bill of $135.94...what happened to the FREE ESTIMATE that is listed on website???...at least mention cost at some point instead on departure...hoping someone will contact us to resolve.

He even suggested that we use a product to keep the drains slippery so fast and other things do not stick to them. Main and feed drains were both clogged pretty solid, right before the holiday. Scheduled an appointment through the website for the next afternoon. Customer service called me the next morning asking if I would mind them showing up early. Mind? Hellz naw.Big Doug showed up with his snakes and started bossing those drains around, told them tree roots what's what, that's what. In and out in an hour, drains flowing like it's their job. 10/10 would order again.

Our responder Andy was incredibly courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. He took the time to explain and outline all options available to us, and was not pushy or judgmental. In the past we’ve always used local plumbers who would come (if not an emergency, which this wasn’t) at their convenience, but our tech was at our house at 10pm...less than an hour from the time we submitted our request. Due to covid he wore a mask, for the cleanliness of our house he wore protective foot covering, and we were charged affordably for the task, and not the time it took. If all of Roto Rooter employees are as exemplary as Andy, then by all means...look no further.

This is my second or third time calling these amazing people. Everyone that has come to my house is respectful of my house and my small animals that run around while they work. They were very careful not to disrupt their surroundings or make more of a mess then they had to. They explained everything that had to be done and didnt try to push other work on me that wasn't necessary

Kevin (with Roto-Rooter) did an incredible job. He was knowledgeable, professional and very thorough throughout the entirety of the job. The repair work was done in a timely fashion, but made sure that every detail was handled with expertise. If, when, I need to have any work done on this old house, I'd be happy to give him a call knowing the quality of the service we'll be receiving. The service was good. When I spoke to the sales agent that came out we were told that we would get an itemized receipt. However, it’s been over a month and I still haven’t received anything.

We had a pretty gross backup in the basement, which indicated we needed the sewer line cleared. Roto Rooter scheduled it, I drove home from work, and the cleanup crew was there 5 minutes later. We all decided they didn't need to clean. The plumber arrived shortly after, and everything was done and over in about 30 minutes. They also guarantee the work for 6 months. Excellent! It's on the pricier end, but that's not bad for instantaneous professional service.

Very courteous he was aware of his surroundings and social distancing was practiced . The gentleman was very neat and paid attention to any sewer droppings that he may have splashed on the floor and cleaned the surrounding areas he was very pleasant to speak with.His whole total visit was maybe under 45 minutes. The serviceman came and installed a new water heater this past Monday (Labor Day). He did a good job. When showing me the finished product, one of the pipes was leaking. He said it was condensation. Tuesday - it was still leaking. Made an appointment for that day - they never came. Wednesday - make an appointment for noon. At 7:00 that evening, they called and said they had to reschedule for today (Friday - 9:00 am). They never came again and have not called. The serviceman was great (not wearing a mask though) and my 11-year son said he heard more F-words from the basement than he hears at school, but getting a serviceman here now is a problem. For almost $1900 ($300 more than the highest estimate from other companies), I expect better customer service.

I called for an issue with my garage drain and Morgan arrived on time. I was very impressed as he worked extra hard working to find out what was happening. We had a backup that had come up during recent rainfall and he went down and did a total thorough clean out of the drain by hand and using our hose to hose it down. He sold us some Pipe Shield that will also help. The problem appears to be due to s strangely put in drain and just needs to be monitored a few times a year to ensure its working properly. He was very good and patient in explaining what he found and did and to also give maintenance advice. He was very personable and I appreciated his frankness. I will be calling this Roto again for any future plumbing associated needs and that confidence is very helpful to me a recent home owner here.

Scheduled online while I was at work (convenient). Gentleman showed up on time and was very thorough with making sure he addressed multiple issues that came up while he was trying to clear the lines. Notified me of an issue I'll have to plan to have addressed at a later time.

Did not complete job. As after they said our sewer line was clear next day backed up again. Had them come out 3 times and walked through the house with muddy shoes and equipment. Will never use again!

Had a back up in my basement on a Saturday night and Daniel from Roto-Rooter cane to the rescue. He was able to quickly diagnose the problem and came up with a solution. He explained everything that needed to be done to solve the problem. Very happy with the quick, professional service.

From the initial phone call requesting service to the final follow up after the work was completed, communication was excellent. I couldn't be on-site while the work was being performed. The initial call was to an operator around 9 am who took all the required info. The operator let me know someone would be out there by noon. I received a phone call from the operator about 11:30am someone was on the way. At noon I received a call from the service tech and described my problem in a bit more detail. After a short time the service tech called back with the cost and request for authorization to perform the work. Again great communication and no surprises. Received another call when work was completed. Meanwhile my wife found a coupon to apply to the bill which was applied during the final invoice. 6 month warranty for the service and a follow up email the next day... Will definitely consider to use them again!

After a late night sewer blockage, I called Roto-Rooter early on Sept. 7th. I was able to get an appointment for the same morning. The tech, Jason, tech #5524 arrived on time and throughout he was courteous, and explained every step he took and efficiently fixed a blocked main sewer line. He even told me that the toilet paper my family used was the worst choice and suggested better alternatives.While doing the job, he informed me that there might be some serious issues with my 60 year old, 100+ foot sewer line. He arranged to have a Roto-Rooter camera tech, Dave Becker, to come while he was still working on the sewer, to run a camera through my main sewer and see where the problems might be. Of course, the camera did show that I am facing an expensive job to replace my existing sewer line. But, while I mull my options, I cannot state enough that both men were upfront with their advice, always courteous and they made a serious issue plain to see, and I would recommend to anybody with sewer problems to use Roto-Rooter. Seth was great. Had an urgent septic line problem that needed an out of the box creative solution to patch it temporarily until the line could be replaced, and he helped out, and got it done.

I made a morning phone call and had the tech Steve on site by noon. Great guy. He was personable and knowledgeable and fixed our issue. He was equipped and wore PPE.

Technician showed up to repair my hot water tank and literally said I don't know that much about hot water tanks Needless to say I didn't accept their over priced service and called a s smaller local company. When it comes to trades the smaller local companies offer more honest options and higher quality customer service.

Our service technician Nick (#3798) was one of the best service professionals I have ever dealt with. His quick thinking and problem solving allowed for us to have hot water the same day it went out. I was very impressed with his knowledge and precautions to make sure the install of our new water heater was fast but safe. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Our sum pump died and basement got flooded. Soon after replacing the sum pump, we realized that something was wrong, as water was backing up and overflowing where it should be draining out of. We called Roto Rooter and Bob from the West Seneca store came over relatively quickly, despite their backlog of requests. He was incredibly courteous and helpful, and was able to resolve my problem within an hour. I had a great experience with Roto Rooter and would highly recommend them to anyone with any sort of plumbing/water issues.

I called Roto-Rooter as there was sitting water in the dishwasher. It took less than 10 minutes to figure out the issue and about 1 hour to fix it. The man who fixed it was professional, suggested two options to try to fix it and explained the process as he was doing it. He re-configured the pipes to the correct configuration. They were not only very helpful in explaining what all was happening but also helped us figure out the best way to work with our insurance. we own several properties and called our plumber for help but he was in Ohio at the moment....called a back-up plumber in WNY and they never called me back...Called RotoRooter and not only did they take care of me for quick service but that we would get a call by service rep when they would be arriving. The service teck #1396 was on time and knew how to assess situation.. He check both clean out locations one at each end of the home and found the issue was at the p-trap outside. within 15 minutes total problem fixed. Issue was water was not flowing to street and the build up of water within the waste line in the house was such that the water was backing up below the toilet seal. what a mess $375.19 ttl well worth the investment.

My appointment was a 10-2 spot. Took time off work to be home and they didn't arrive until 6pm! When they finally arrived service was great. Can't say anything bad about my service guy.

Our sewer line backed up and flooded a third of our basement literally at the end of the day. It was our first time with Roto-Rooter and will not be our last. We were extremely impressed with how sympathetic and professional everyone from customer service was about getting a field supervisor over to our home urgent as we had family from out of town coming to the house any moment. The first supervisor that was on route to our house was caught in a car accident, but customer service had already organized another supervisor to get to the house. Mike arrived within the timeframe originally communicated to us prior to the switch in supervisors. Mike was professional and showed his experience. He immediately had an idea of what the issue was and resolved it quick. He explained the issue with our drain pipe, as well as solutions to prevent the line from backing up again. Mike did advise the the price prior to, which based on our research was a reasonable pricing, but he advised us of a $40 off coupon Roto-Rooter has and it saved us more money. Overall, we were extremely happy with all the services provided by Roto-Rooter staff and will recommend them to anyone needing assistance.

They were able to send a technician out immediately to unclog the laundry sink. He was professional and was able to solve the problem quickly. Pricey, but you get what you pay for as they say.

He came out first for a free quote on a backup sump installation and took the time to explain everything to me. When I wanted to make slight modifications, he listened and told me whether or not the changes would work. I booked Roto Rooter and a few days later two guys were in my house performing the installation. They arrived exactly when they said they would and did solid, efficient work. They also made sure to wear booties every time they came in and out of the house. That's a plus for anyone looking to keep his/her house tidy. When they were finished, they cleaned up everything to exactly how it was. Many thanks to great plumbers and a solid company! I'm very happy with the final product.
