I highly recommend Don to anyone. He arrived real soon after getting ahold of him. He had the toilet fixed within an hour and working better than ever. He tested everything to make sure it was working properly. Best yet, his price was way lower than expected. He did an awesome job. Call him before anyone else.

Have used Don in a variety of projects ranging from building a home theater to installing fixtures. He's honest, dependable and a craftsman.

Don came to check out some concerns we had about areas in our home that would need to be improved/repaired to increase resale price. (Relator wanted us to do some specific things that we disagreed with). Don gave us his honest opinion some areas to focus on and some tips to fix things ourselves as well as offering his assistance to fix the certain items. One of the areas was the master shower where the shower pan has cracked and was leaking. Rather than suggesting a formal bathroom remodel (which would be costly) we discussed some options that I could do myself to fix the leak which, upon completion, we're successful.

I highly recommend Don for his honesty, candid nature, and quality of work (parents had some work done by him too and raved about his craftsmanship).

We found Don on Nextdoor and we couldn’t be happier. We needed plumbing work done and he came out and looked at the project and gave us a great price and explained the best way to complete the job. We scheduled a time for him to come and do the work and he arrived on time and completed the worked flawlessly. It was exactly what we wanted and we couldn’t be happier. Had major water damage in bathroom, kitchen, basement. This company told me they will not come to look at it if it's covered under home owners' insurance due to the nature of people playing games with high / low bids while contractors run around, wasting their time.

Don was a meticulous craftsman. We had a large hole in our ceiling due to a leak. He was able to fix this hole in a way that you could not tell there had been a large chunk of ceiling removed. He went above and beyond and practiced different techniques to get the ceiling paint to match the strange paint pattern that is on our ceiling. Moreover, while he was here, he repaired our unattached faucet just because. He also fixed part of our wall impacted by the leak and proceeded to paint the walls to ensure it looked natural and finished. He went above and beyond with his work and always explained why he would do what he does. He even helped us learn more about home repair. He is coming back to help us put in a light and I would highly recommend his work.

Don has done so many different jobs in my home, including repairs and remodeling. I wouldn’t call anyone else for the work. He is highly professional, extremely competent, and very knowledgeable in his field. Don cares about the quality of his work and the satisfaction of customers. I trust that anything I hire him to do will be done to perfection.

I hired Dan to do some exterior/interior repairs on my house. His estimate was very reasonable for the work being done. My first priority was getting the job done correctly, so I collected only reasonable (not necessarily low cost) quotes from a variety of contractors. His analysis of the problem, and description of the repair/costs made sense. Furthermore, he went to great lengths to describe what he could not see (he wanted to make me aware of possible unforeseen circumstances...which I appreciated). He arrived on time, and completed the work in the time he quoted. His bill was accurate and reflected everything he had on his estimate. He was very personable and knowledgeable. My experience was very positive, leading me to use his services again for a toilet installation.

I can’t say enough nice things about Don. He is ethical, fairly priced, compassionate, knowledgeable, humorous, friendly and several other positive adjectives. He installed our hot water heater. The old one was around 30 years old. Don was on time, did the work we hired him to do and was an absolute pleasure to speak with about his family, his history and the little things we could do to make our habitat more hospitable. Great guy and plan on hiring him for just about everything from now on. When you meet a guy who shoots straight and doesn’t gouge, you should expect to hire them again and recommend them to friends. So, I’m sure you’re browsing all sorts of reviews thinking, “Okay, looks like, Don here has great quality of work, but how fast will one man be able to tackle this task.” That’s where you’re wrong, having knowledge is one thing in this industry (Don has a ton of), but being process oriented and efficient/intentional with your every move is another.

So I was having issues with my washing machine and dishwasher kicking on and off very loud. I also noticed that the water pressure in my house was really high with a common garden hose shooting about 40-50 feet. My washing machine broke and it was suggested that my extremely high water pressure could be the cause. I told, Don with every bit of detail some of the things I was experiencing over the phone. He was able to guess the exact PSI our plumbing system had based on what I described (tested upon his arrival), knew exactly how this issue developed over the years based on the way builders/development companies work over extended periods of time, along with developing an exact plan of action on how to fix it before even seeing our plumbing. In a 6 hour period, Don was able to replace the plumbing straight off our main water line AND the majority of our ENTIRE BASEMENT after that point. None of what you see in the attached picture is “standard”, in fact, I challenge you to look in a million basements for a water gage straight off your main and an adjustable pressure regulator. SIMPLY NEXT LEVEL! The expansion tank is a genius idea, Don had suggested to install, and completely eliminated the hard knocking sound you hear as water shuts on and off on all systems in you house… Scarrryyyy quite afterwards. Makes me feel like our house built in the 70s is a new custom build in these regards. After the job is done, Don won’t just abruptly leave you like doctors tend to do afterwards lol. He will explain what to expect regarding your upgrade and risk mitigation with maintenance if any at all. Leaving you feeling incredibly confident that you selected the right guy for the job. The sky is the limit for, Don and his slogan “one man that can do it all” couldn’t be more accurate.

Don did excellent work for us. He diagnosed and fixed a leak in the master bathroom. He then repaired drywall damage from the leak as well. The repair looks better than the rest of the garage ceiling. He also fixed the rotten wood at the base of our garage door... won’t have to worry about future issues there as Don used weather resistant material to fix. And a lot cheaper than buying a new door as recommended by another contractor! While he was at it he fixed the wobbly base plate of the door (Rock steady now). We also had him replace our sink in the laundry room with a better one. Through all of this Don shared numerous Valuable DIY tips that I’m sure will come in handy. He is professional, punctual and has the drive to do things the right way. I would highly recommend Don...A pleasure to work with. Thanks Don! Great work!!

Don is the best! He has rebuilt outside windows and stairs, painted rooms, etc. He always goes the extra mile. If you want the job done right the first time, Don is your man!

Having Don remodel our kitchen has been nothing but a pleasant experience. He is so knowledgeable with anything and everything, it is impossible not to learn something from him everyday. So far, Don has upgraded our electrical, plumbing, gas-lines, drywall, and light fixtures. He has gone above and beyond to make everything perfect and I can't wait to hire him for future projects. Don really helped me out in a pinch. I placed a few calls to electricians in the area and never heard back from the others. I actually spoke with Don when I first called the main number and was able to explain the situation. He came out the next day to do an estimate and was able to resolve my wiring issue right then and there. This was a huge relief because we were hosting a party that weekend and could not have our bathroom in the situation I left it in. Furthermore, he could have taken advantage of the situation and charged me an arm and a leg to fix the problem on the spot, but he didn't. I am grateful for his time and the tutorial he gave me so I could try to avoid a similar situation in the future. I will definitely be calling DTR if I have another electrical or home improvement need.

He was very responsive to our requests. And he left things very clean when he was done. We had him do a large job installing can lights in a family room and then a smaller job replacing multiple dimmer switches. He also looked at a few other concerns and helped us identify and correct the issues.

I would recommend him to family and friends and we will use him again.
