I needed to install a new Grundfos pump to replace the Grundfos pump that had given me 12 years of service. I contacted the Grundfos distributor and he gave me the name of a couple of companies that purchase Grundfos pumps, one being Petroglyph, which was nearest to my location. I had also purchased a 20 gallon water pressure tank to be installed to lengthen the pump turn on cycle. I scheduled Petroglyph to come out for what I thought would be a 1-2 hour job. I expected the cost to be around $200-$400. The job took Curtis and his helper 3.5 hrs and I was charged $364 for materials which included copper pipe, a pressure gauge and a valve, as well as a restocking fee. The total charge was a whopping $937.43. Upon job completion I did a toilet flushing check and the Grundfos pump started on only the second toilet flush. The air pressure in the water pressure tank was set too high and had not been checked. Petroglyph could not tell me what the pressure should be. I was disappointed in their expertise on this matter. Reducing the air pressure, we were able to extend the cycling to about 5 toilet flushes between Grundfos start ups, but further reduction could possibly produce better results. I am disappointed in both the cost and expertise.

Be careful with these guys. My estimate was for $760 and after fault of the plumbers got stuck with $922 bill. I asked for an updated estimate but was told they were working on it. I never received the quote that I asked for twice. I only found out the cost when I was given an invoice. Owner just gives lame answers to questions. Mostly just concerned with attaching his business card to my equipment. Do yourself a favor and choose someone else.

Best service I've had anywhere in awhile!! The ladies that answered the phone were so accomdating and helpful. They also went above and beyond while we were dealing with a warranty issue. The technicians that responded were knowledgeable and quickly and efficiently fixed our problem. 10/10 would recommend!

COMPLETELY SATISFIED with our recent service call. Andres is prompt, professional, courteous and very knowledgeable. Lesly in the office is great too. So happy with them we scheduled the annual service on our Noritz tankless for next year. Looking forward to a long relationship with these folks.

Was supposed to start today after doing an interview on Monday at a Starbucks. They told me they've had 4 people recently quit and needed to find someone dependable and that would show up on time. Then I was sent a text that they were offering me the position and I was supposed to start today so I showed up to their house/office on time (early really) and started to fill out paperwork. There was a page that said this is not a guarantee of a job... I politely voiced my concern about it and Curtis was very upset about that and Leslie asked what his thoughts were and his exact words were (in a very negative tone) you don't want to hear what I have to think extremely unprofessional and incredibly rude!!!

A-O Smith water heater company sent Petroglyph P&H to my house on a warranty service call. I was given a courtesy call when they were on the way the technicians arrived ahead of schedule and completed the job promptly.
I will definitely consider PP&H next time I need plumbing and heating services.

Very prompt and thorough service! Excellent turnaround time from assessment to repair of our Rheem water heater.

Told curtis up front that I did NOT want this to be a 1000 dollar job and that he can go. He assured me that if it did not take long to locate the leak, that it should be around 500 or 600. He failed to show up on time on first day. Came late on the second. The leak was located pretty quickly. But the job ended up costing nearly a thousand. He did not show up on the first day until 530PM. My appointment was 1 to 3. He nearly went over his estimate by 360 to 469 dollars. I did add a turn off valve at the leak location. However, that should not have driven up the bid to almost double. He Was late on the day of work. Left the job site at 1130 and came back after the water authority wanted to turn water on. I even called him to try to get back sooner. He got in a fight with the water authority personnel. He went over entire bill with me.. I said ok.. Then he said want me to fill hole. I said ok thinking there would be no additional charges. He did not say he would charge more. After all, we were way over the original estimate. Nope, he went back and scratched out the bill and rewrote it and added another 100 dollars. The final bill was nearly 1000. I had been had. Scammed. Ripped. There is no other way to put it. I told him the night before to just leave. My first impression was right. Curtis is a shyster. There is no better word for it.

Absolutely stellar service. We had a huge confusing debacle with the gas company and Petroglyph went above and beyond to help us get our gas turned back on. I can’t recommend them highly enough. You won’t be disappointed. Everyone I interacted was friendly, clear in their communication and very professional.

Buyer beware!!! Hired Petroglyph Plumbing to do the annual cleaning on my tankless water heater and was quoted $155. I was billed $575 for the job when it was completed despite nothing major being wrong with the unit. The company has very dishonest billing practices that they do not explain to you until the job is completed. The owner Curtis is nonresponsive to the dishonest billing practices. It appears that they take longer than necessary to complete the job to bill for extra labor hours. I do not recommend hiring this company.
