Buyer beware.
I bought a new Bradford White water heater from this company 2 years ago.
They use Kennan plumbing supply as their water heater supplier. After spending $1200 for a new water heater, at 2 years and 1 month, my Bradford White water heater has failed. This has a 6 year warranty on parts and only now I find out that their supplier, Kennan, will charge $175 to exchange an in warranty water heater. Even worse, this company charges and additional $300 labor to exchange it. According to the manager at Kennan (Stephanie) these water heaters can (and do) fail in as little as 6 months. If this happens be prepared to spend $475 each and every time. I suggested they not carry products that fail so soon (by her own admission in as little as 6 months). She suggested I buy a home warranty.
When I call Campagna to discuss my situation, I get only voicemail as an option. Additionally, they do not return my call when I left a message. Additionally,
the service manager that help me in the first place quit responding to my text when I let him know the office was ignoring me.
This seems like a business practiced at the art of no services after the sale unless you consider ignoring and charging excessive fees for warranty work a service.
I suggest you avoid any plumber who uses Kennan and and is ok with charging $475 to exchange an in warranty water heater. They carry products that fail often and early. They assured me of quality when I said I had not heard of Bradford White. When I called the manufacturer they said they don't charge to exchange but it is up to the service provider to warranty their defective products.
Best option in my opinion is to by a Rheem from Home Depot. Buy the 5 year parts and labor extended warranty for $69. Spend a total of $1050 + 69 out the door with installation. Have a company like Home Depot standing behind the products they sell unlike Campagne.
