Glenn was courteous and professional throughout the service. We will definitely use Bieg plumbing again.

They installed a gas line for a stove at our house. Unfortunately the service tech. did not have the proper (basic) line to do the job so he had to travel 30 minutes one way to get the line and of course 30 minutes back; all while on the clock.

The line used was not very common but I did notify the office ahead of time that we had the particular set-up that would require said line.

When it was all said and done the tech. got the line installed and then someone from the office was gracious enough to call me and offer a credit for 30 of the travel minutes to get the line. I accepted.

I don't typically do reviews but this is the 2nd go around with Bieg and deserving. I had a repair completed at a property that included replacing a shower fixture. The initial repair cost $750 ($200 fixture on a claw foot tub with 360* access), which DID include hidden fees in the form of excessive delivery fees. You have to ask for itemized receipts otherwise their ridiculous/excessive fees are exposed The NEW fixture lasted less than two years with a single shower user. I called to see if there were any options or recourse. The short answer was no. The warranty was 1 year and Bieg is not brave enough, nor confident enough in their own work to warranty beyond the cheap manufacturers warranty. In conclusion, there are countless other plumbers in St. Louis that are more transparent, fair and willing to stand behind their work.

I was quoted $750 to replace a toilet at my work (I think that is highly outrageous) but needed it done so I agreed. We received a bill for $1,395 and after I called to discuss it they dropped the price to $1,166. I was told that the quote was for the equipment but not labor of trip charge. They would not work with me anymore so I am paying the bill but would tell anyone that reads this to STAY AWAY from this company.

This was the company I had to call after roto. Ruler was outrageously wanting to charge me for everything that I did not need also

I had some extensive plumbing repairs done on September 9th, 2019.
It involved taking all the cast iron pipes out of the basement and replacing them with pcv. Also had to remove 2 toilets and replace the pipe for those and had to cut through walls. They replaced the tiles and paneling in record time.
Dave the plumber and Jeff, his assistant arrived at 7:30 AM, right on time.
They were both so professional and very hard working. Dave explained what they were going to do and got right to work.
They finished the amazing job in one day. Both very friendly.
I would definitely recommend Bieg Plumbing.

If you like to waste your hard earned money than I would suggest contacting Beig for service. Hidden delivery charges that aren’t discussed upfront are their specialty.

Knowledge and friendly enough, but overcharged. Service man charged 4 hours, and 2 separate trips, for a 1.5 hour job.

The crew arrived on-time, were friendly, professional (and all masked up) and they got the job done in half the time they estimated! The plaster team also worked wonders and fixed everything up beautifully. We now have a great, new, energy-efficient water heater, and perfect hot water pressure in our upstairs bathroom!

Had excellent experience with Bieg. I had several smaller fixes (replace saddle valves, replace outside hose bib/spigot, fix leaky main valve shutoff, etc). I really liked their approach to the job, i.e. they said it is a time and material approach, they were very upfront about the hourly rate, and visit charge. They gave me a rough idea of how long they thought it would take but said it would really depend on what the work involved once the plumber took a look at it (which was very fair in my mind). Was able to get an appointment that was just a few days out. The day of the appointment the plumber (Dave) was on-time, very friendly, very knowledgeable, and did an awesome job. The outside spigot fix was complicated due the basement being finished and very limited access to where it came in the house. Dave came up with an excellent and simple solution for it. Very happy with the whole experience. I did get an estimate from one other plumbing company and they had much more of a corporate like sales process (had gold, silver, gold, band-aid options for each repair presented to me on an ipad ) and the band-aid estimate they gave me was more than double what Beig charged me. Highly recommend Bieg.

I can't say enough good things about Bieg Plumbing! Dave arrived on time and ready to work. He was the perfect combination of friendly and professional. He made fast work of the problem without rushing. The cost was lower than we expected! (How often can you say that?) I highly recommend.

Would not recommend. Poor service quality and quite expensive for something that didn’t get fixed. Was charged for half an hour more ($75) than the service I received because they said they started service at 8:45 AM (instead of 9:00 AM like they actually did) and because the repairman chatted for another 20 minutes, and that was on top of a $150 fee just for showing up. Requested service for toilet that was running. Service man said it was an easy fix. Fast forward two weeks and the same issue still exists. Called to get them to come fix what I’d already paid them to fix, and they said it would be an additional charge for parts and labor (only thing they’d waive was the arrival fee).

I had a great experience with this company! First of all Beig was the first company that sounded professional when they answered their phone & I didn't have to wait for a call back. Glenn was the plumber they sent out. Not only was this the fastest I've ever seen a plumber move but he was extremely nice! He did a fantastic job! I couldn't be happier with this company!

Did work that we didnt ask for. No apologies. They cabled our lines when I asked for them to install some sort of pressure relief valve. Not the smartest people working there. Try somewhere else for you plumbing needs

They replaced and upgraded my water heater. There was a full daybof work needed for it bit the crew was polite and diligent. The head man was knowledgeable and able to answer all of my questions.

Wouldn't recommend this company for any services. Took them several weeks just to come out to my house for a quote/estimate for services (when other major plumbing contractors took less than a few days). I still have not yet heard from them four weeks later after following up with a phone call on the status of the estimate for services. Completely unprofessional and unresponsive.

We've used Bieg for nearly every problem we've had for 20 years. Fortunately for us it hasn't been too often, but outside of one time when they were slammed and couldn't meet an emergency need I had (which they said right away making it easy for me to move on and find someone else), they've been terrific. Showing me the problems and explaining the charges beforehand, being kind with bad news, funny when here and chatting with us but not wasting time, using up their whole time with useful things so we get our money's worth, and all around great work with no call backs on anything. We're very pleased.

I am so incredibly thankful for this company! We had a situation where we purchased a house with a failing well and did not have usable water. After months of dealing with other plumbing services and then weeks of trying to get bids to switch to public water, this company came in and took our needs seriously. This was difficult job because we live on a hill of solid bedrock - No contractors would call us back because of our location but this company not only called us back quickly but they rushed our job and got us done within 2 weeks. Everyone was AMAZING! From Bob and Den personally coming out to evaluate the job, to the workers being kind and professional every day, to Candace calling to give me daily status updates. They gave us the best service and we are so happy to finally have working CLEAN water!!

A simple phone call will reveal how legitimate this 5 star rating is. They claimed to be booked for over a week - and the price was ridiculous. I would steer clear of this dishonest company.

I have worked with Bieg over the past 5 years at multiple homes owned and leased out. They are always timely when I need them most. The same guy has been servicing us for the past 5 years which means Bieg treats its employees right, and employees treat customers right.

Performed and charged for more work than absolutely necessary to make required repair. Had the same repair performed by another company on our other bathroom a few months ago and the extras were not performed or charged for resulting in nearly a $100 difference in cost. Additional unnecessary costs can be a big problem for people on a fixed income. $100 can buy a lot of groceries.

My sewer was backed up. They tried to unclog the sewer and had to run a camera down into it and discovered a broken pipe in alley. The two men the company sent out was very nice. They took care of the paperwork and sent it into the County for me .
Then the County sent someone out to repair the pipe.

Dave the plumber was very helpful and explained his work in a way that we could understand. Really appreciated the time he took to make sure everything was safe and functional. Also took the time to refer us to a Bieg specialist for future work on another project.

I had a new dishwasher installed and it was a 2 1/2 hour job. The house is new construction, so there were no issues with electric or plumbing pipes. He had trouble with attaching the screws to the bracket under the countertop, and they are not attached. I was quoted an hourly rate and it should have taken an hour to install.

I had a shower leaking into the basement and could not figure out the source. The owner, Dennis, came out and stayed for 45 minutes trying to find the leak. I appreciated his time & knowledge. We determined a plumber would come out & replace the spout and start there. Dave, the plumber, came out on time and was very knowledgeable and logical in his approach. Through process of elimination he determined he had to get inside the wall, which he did in a quick and efficient manner with the least invasive method. Upon observing the leak in the opening he determined it was not a plumbing issue but a grout or caulk/sealing issue. He then recommended a tile repairman. I could not have located this leak without them. All in all very pleased with Bieg's professionalism & knowledge.

Dug up my yard and left a hole and huge rocks that I just found on top that would’ve ruined the mower and prevent grass from growing.

Although the technician was very friendly and seems like a really good guy, I was completely misguided on the cost of this job. I received a quote previously from another company for $750 for sewer cleanout, and thought that was high. So, I contacted Bieg, they sent out their technician who scoped the situation and gave me a quote between $500 and $600. I said ok, I'll move ahead with your company. We then waited an hour for another guy to show up with equipment. When he showed up the vacuum equipment didn't work, so we waited another 45 min to an hour for him to drop off the vacuum and come back with...a shop vac. Finally they are able to suck up the debris, and clean up. The whole ordeal lasted 4 hrs (a little over an hour of which was actual labor, with an hour of loading and unloading), and I was charged just under $1000!! That was almost double my quote. I will never use this company again.

They came out to see if my sewer line was broken. The tech was very professional and walked me through the whole process I will be calling them for all of my plumbing needs.

Dave came to fix my shower valve and arrived early with all equipment ready in his truck. He was very nice and got the work done in no time. After getting estimates from other plumbers, Bieg charged well under competitor estimates.

Did work to pass an occupancy permit. Competive on pricing quick turnaround. Even repaired the drywall! Professional and on time Dave and Jeff did a great job. Cleaned up after the job.

I had an emergency situation which I needed addressed before the weekend. Called around 11am on Friday and Dave was able to come at 12pm. Fixed my issue in 2 hrs and now I have water again! Incredibly friendly and professional. Would definitely be my first call for service next time.

Steve from Bieg came to work on my bathtub faucet that had been leaking ever since it was installed about six years ago. I have had at least five other plumbers look at it and they could never get it to stop totally. In the last few weeks, it became more of a steady stream of water rather than a leak. Steve managed to get it totally stopped and I couldn't be happier. He was thorough and extremely professional. He was also very friendly and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

This plumbing outfit is the BEST you can find around in St. Louis. It's a family-owned, family-ran business hence, there is so much pride with the service they provide. Dave, the plumber, is the most conscientious and attentive plumber you can find. One thing that sets this plumbing co. apart is their utmost honesty! We had a stopped up drain. My called other companies one came out and sold us on a product that would unclog the drain. Expensive bleach water. Tom with Bieg came out identified the issue and resolved it. We are happy with the results. Price was very fair. I would use them again!

Having requested an estimate for a sewer lateral repair, we paid them 500 for the video (about 200 more than we were expecting based on phone call and having this service done at previous residences). It’s one month later, and we have yet to receive the estimate despite numerous phone calls. I can’t imagine what is happening, but the high cost and non-delivery of a simple estimate is pretty shocking.

Bieg Plumbing is a bad company to use to do any plumbing work. The work they did was unacceptable. When I called them and politely told them what was going on, they started accusing me for the problem.

They installed and roughed in a shower valve in my bathroom incorrectly. They roughed it in too deep for the screws to reach on the cover plate. When he installed it the wall was open and only studs visible. I was very clear to him that I was adding wallboard and tile and to account for that when putting the shower valve in. The response I got from Bieg plumbing was that since I used a Delta Shower valve from Lowe's it was my fault that the valve was set too deep. They said I didn't use a shower valve from on of their suppliers. To me this is absolutely crazy. A Delta Shower Valve is about as common as you can get. Can you imagine sending a plumber to Plumbing supply to pick out your shower fixture for you? When I set up the appointment they did not tell me about their policy or give me the option to pick out a shower valve at Plumber's Supply. They wanted to charge me again to come out and fix the problem. They were rude and accusatory about the whole situation.

They also put in the shower plumbing crooked, it comes out at an angle so my shower head points in an awkward direction. They said they could not fix this issue.

And lastly, I also had them put in 3 water shut off valves. I told them prior to them coming that I needed a shut off for the toilet and 2 for the vanity. The guy showed up with only 2 water shut off valves. Then they charged me 45 minutes of time for him to go get some from the Plumbing supply. (About $100). Water shut off valves are as common as they come for a plumber. For them not to have 3 of them on their truck or put them in the truck before showing up is crazy. This is not some odd part that I needed. I asked about this as well and they said this is how they operate.

I do not recommend this company at all. They have terrible customer service, they want to blame the customer, they will find ways to charge you as much as possible, and won't fix something that they did wrong.

Steve came to my house to look at my kitchen faucet and see why it wasn't rotating. It was beyond repair, but noticed it was made by a company that has a lifetime warranty. He went out of his way to call the company and had it re[placed. Within a week my new one came in and Steve came back out to install. Steve was very professional, has good customer service and will highly recommend Bieg Plumbing to others.

We called them because of a water leak in our kitchen, and they were at our house in less than 2 hours. To be honest we had never called a plumber, but their pricing seemed fair and they took care of the issue quickly.

Called last week for an appointment. They told me they'd call the morning of May 3rd to let me know what time of day. I missed her call at 10:04 a.m. I called at 12:40 p.m. she says Oh, we have you down for 3:30 p.m. - hang on the plumber is here in the office. She puts me on hold, comes back and tells me ...he is not able to come today he's busy and has changed his schedule....can you do the 16th of May? 3:30 p.m. hasn't occurred yet and we missed one call. If your job is important SKIP this outfit as apparently they can stand around the office and cancel your appointment the day of BEFORE your time is even close. Their hold message drips and gushes with praise regarding how they've stayed in business during the scamdemic because of folks like me. REALLY?!!? I hope they go under.

Outdoor repair appears to have resolved our basement leakage problem. However, fill dirt should have been tamped down better and sod installation over the repair area is probably still needed. After the first rain several holes developed around the repair. I spent about a day trying to fill these in and tamping down the fill dirt.

I bought a new State Industries Water heater (made by AO Smith) and it was installed by another plumbing contractor. Three weeks after the installation the thermostat went bad. The original plumbing contractor was not an authorized repair company for State/AO Smith and wouldn't repair it saying I need to call the manufacturer for warranty repairs. The Manufacturer gave me Bieg plumbing. I called them. They were helpful and courteous. They sent their W/H repair tech named Joe. He looked at it, went to his truck, brought back a new thermostat and in no time had it replaced. We have hot water again! My thanks to Bieg Plmbg and Joe and the office staff!

The two person team did a great job on replacing two vertical sewer stacks. They were hard working, made sure to cleanup any mess that was made and restored everything to the way it was before.

Only issue was communication issues between the corporate office and the plumbers on the job site. I was contacted twice about questions on work that needed to be completed and what was completed.

I would use them again. The price was a little high, but you get what you pay for and I got high quality work.

Had to do a minor but important plumbing job. Got several quotes. Bieg was on the high side but based on other people's experienced with unlicensed plumbers we decided to go for it. Bieg was great: the estimator came to our place and produced an estimate. They then followed up to schedule the job. The plumber (Dave) came at the exact time and was super professional. We had lousy service from Merlo plumbing. Not only did they NOT fix our water pressure problem, they fixed something that didn't need repair and did it shoddily. Despite months of requests to come back to do the work they should have done initially (with nearly $1000 spent on unnecessary, inferior work), they gave us rude attitude, then ignored us, never returning phone calls or emails.

We called Bieg. Not only did they agree to come out and look at it (when usually contractors don't want to work on someone else's mistake), Mr. Bieg HIMSELF was so concerned for what happened to us from Merlo, he came out personally to inspect it. He spent the time to investigate and troubleshoot. The NEXT DAY, he had his plumber come out. They fixed the original water pressure problem and at a reasonable plumbing fee.

A few weeks later, water was in our finished basement b/c the work Merlo mistakenly did initially (and poorly), was leaking badly. We called Bieg again. They came out right away and fixed that problem from Merlo's incompetent work. After Bieg worked on it, we've had ZERO issues.

Thanks to Bieg, our water pressure is better than ever and there is no leakage in our finished basement.

The copper water line was leaking in the front of the house causing some basement water issues. The water line was replaced and the meter casing was replaced. The workers did an excellent job and the job was completed in 4 hours.

We have used Bieg for a number of jobs at our house. They are always on time, on budget and super friendly. I have really appreciated each visit as they give me advice on how to do maintenance, what I should look at next and just great conversation. I feel safe enough to leave them alone while I run errands or leave for work.

However, nothing makes a difference like working with smart people! Bieg made space in the schedule for quick service and sent one of it's finest....a smart, experienced guy with a great sense of humor. Quick assessment produced a quick repair making the pump better than original! Having worked with three other plumbing companies, it's refreshing to get more than expected. I had work done recently and it was a big gob all of the men who came were very professional and nice and kind they did a very good job I'm so pleased I choses them I will recommend them and will use them again if needed.

We had a new hot water heater installed. Exactly on Bid and then even helped with a spire rebate. Dave and Nick were quick, neat, and Covid cautious. We appreciate there efficient work and professional advice about some future worked needed with our electric setup.

My husband who is a disabled vet fell and broke our toilet this morning. Our only other bathroom is on the second floor and he cannot do stairs. Called Bieg, a referral from another plumber, and they responded within 30 minutes, fitting us in between jobs because of the situation. Joe, the young man who did the work was wonderful. The tank was the only part broken and he tried to get us just a new tank to save us some money but unfortunately, none were. He had another coworker go pick up the new toilet while he took out the old. He explained what he was doing, was extremely knowledgeable, very respectful and he tested the toilet repeatedly to insure there were no leaks and he cleaned up the floor! He refused to take a tip. Bieg is now our plumber of choice.

As a first time homeowner I had a lot of questions - Joe was very helpful in walking me through everything he was doing. Very professional service and general advice. Also, when I had a question about billing those in the office did a great job explaining the details to me. Definitely will be using their service in the future!

I will start by saying that I have used this company before at other properties I have managed. Don’t think I had any issues .

Now I’m the facilities manager on a property that can’t seem to get these guys to show up . In my experience . You try and always treat your vendors like family they are the ones who can get you out of a. Bind.

I’ve been at my property now for almost three years. I’ve called maybe 3 or 4 times since they are a “preferred vendor”.

First time I called I believe it was for a massive leaks coming from the restrooms on the third floor. Called and asked about some flush valves . Gave me the run around .

When you book normally the vendor will ask you when are you on property till . My hours are 6-2 never got a service call that could happen in my window.

Fast forward to June 29th 8-9am I tried to schedule a call for the same flush valves / seals for those toilets they say they can’t get anyone on the schedule till after the holiday. Alright that’s fine . Schedules me 8 days out minus 3 days for holiday etc.

Then calls me at 3:30 pm this afternoon to tell
Me that my call can’t be completed today. Which this isn’t the first time it has happened to me over 3 times I’ve never gotten them on property .

So I asked why is that this Keeps happening one time i get it 2 times i understand 3 times with no explanation or accountability is a terrible taste to leave in someone’s mouth.

Preferred vendor. But yet that didn’t even have the common courtesy to book me early in the day on their schedule a week in advance .

At this point . I’m just going to assume that they don’t want to business with me or my property which is sad to hear because recommendation comes down from people above me who
Would be disappointed to learn of the experience we are having more than once.

Great customer service! I needed a plumber on super short notice to inspect a sewer line on a house I was buying. They sent Tom out within the hour, he used a camera in the lateral sewer line, checked the stack in the kitchen and the stack for the bath. He gave us some good feedback about the pipes in the basement. I had to call later because of a misunderstanding with the bill. Mark and Don were very courteous and straightened everything out quickly. I was very happy with Bieg Plumbing and will definately call on them when I need repairs down the road!

The Bieg employees were very nice and friendly. They were respectful of my home and floors. Once the job was mapped out they were there within days and completed the job in one day. I would recommend them to my family and friends.

We had Mark come out to clear out a large blockage in our sewer line. The job was done effectively and efficiently. Just as importantly, Mark walked me through many of the choke points in our system, things to watch out for in the future, and ways to ensure our systems works as best as possible.

Called that morning and someone was out in less then an hour. Our service man was Dave, very friendly and had my sink fixed in no time. Great experience and fair prices!

Had Beig install a new hose bib for me. Could not have been handled more professionally from top to bottom. From the phone call to schedule the work, to the plumber on day of installation, the communication and service were A team quality. Nice to have folks you can trust with this kind of work.

The plumber came out to look at our sprinkler system pipes. He ordered a part and when it came in, returned to replace it. With further inspection he realized there was a crack that would require a complete replacement, upwards of $1000. I asked if we could plug it and do this later and not only did he not charge me for the part we ordered, but after 2 hours of work he didn't charge for the visit! I'll definitely use them when we decide to replace the system.

Glen arrived promptly at the expected time. He was professional and courteous. Got to work immediately and finished in a timely manner. I appreciated his upbeat attitude and his willingness to explain what was going on and answering questions I had .

I would definitely recommend Bieg Plumbing and will use them again if I have any more plumbing issues.

Glenn did a great job. I have an old house and not the best conditions to work with, but he was able to make the repairs. Will definitely use them again and will recommend them!

Serviceman Dave was prompt, friendly and respectful. The work was done in less time than expected and the price was fair. He left the work space clean and tidy. I would definitely use Bieg again.

I cannot say enough about this wonderful company. I can't go into all the problem I was having but it was tremendous to me. I called Bieg and the office girls were absolutely wonderful. Bieg was prompt, pleasant and although there was some unforeseen additional work to get our job completed, we were informed the entire time and they kept the costs under the agreed contracted price. At one point they had 3 people consulting and working the job! Their laborer Jeff was awesome at drywalling and very knowledgeable (30 yrs experience). I completely enjoyed my Bieg Plumbing experience!

This company was a life saver. Came to the house after one day and took care of my problem of a very clogged sewer drain/pipe. Explained what was happening with a camera view. Helped me complete a sewer lateral repair program papers. Everything is working great! Will definitely use again.

Work on restaurant

They solved my problem quickly and on a weekend! They charged me less money than what they quoted me, which is always appreciated! The plumber knew exactly what was wrong within five minutes of the visit. Haven’t had any problems since. Will definitely use them in the future.

This is a quality company, but I do have an issue, I had a shower that was leaking and called for service, I offered the model number of the faucet and pictures before the service call so that the correct part (Cartridge) would be brought , When the tech came he did not have it and had to go to a special place in webster goves to get the part, I had to pay labor for the trip, $120 extra, to be fair he did tell me he could come back another day for no sircharge but I would require for me to schedule and stay at home to meet them a second day. All in all the work was wonderful and the tech was pleasant and profressional

Steve replaced the water pressure reducing valve in my water line, restoring excellent water pressure in my house. The whole process from my initial call for service, to the repair was handled professionally and in a timely manner. Steve was friendly and skilled in his trade. I will be using Bieg Plumbing in the future.

Everyone here seems to really know what they're talking about - from the phone rep who makes appointments, down to the plumbers who do the physical labor. This was extremely appreciated when we came to them with a seemingly invisible leak and a poorly-designed water pipe system. Bieg Plumbing found a creative workaround for our problem that DIDN'T involve digging up our entire basement floor. Not only did they locate the leak, but they fixed it for us in a way that will make any future problems easier to deal with - and they were super quick about it!

Had to book two weeks in advance. Agreed to pay high travel expenses for them to come out based on good reviews and took a day off work to be home for the service. Waited for them late into the afternoon and called for an ETA at which point they said they wouldn't be able to make it. I can't waste another vacation day so I'll need to find a plumber who will service on a weekend. They brag about their professionalism their phone recording,it seems to just be lip service like a lot of businesses these days

We’ve used Bieg Plumbing a couple of times. We found them originally at the recommendation of another plumbing company I called online. They couldn’t get me in, but told me they would take care of me. We have been so pleased with their work and with the people they’ve sent. Everyone is always knowledgeable and goes the extra mike to educate me about what they’re doing. From first call to end of job everyone is always polite, communicate well about timing, and go out of their way to help in anyway.
