Had an issue with shower faucet broken and not shutting off at rental. They did a good job for a fair price. Also was installing a dishwasher and current connection was not up to code for new install so they were able to bring that to code so washer delivery could install. Our 30+ year toilet broke 4 days before we had guests arriving. We fortunately were able to purchase one quickly and Pipeworks came out and completed the installation. I have used Twin City Pipeworks several times in the past. I trust them and their work. Recently I discovered a leak under my kitchen sink. I had Dave come out and he quickly showed me what was wrong and fixed it. While we were talking I told him I wasn't happy with my kitchen faucet and we decided to replace it with a new one he had on his truck (really a good move I love this new one). I had him return the next week and replace my water heater and my outdoor faucet along with some basement piping. I am really happy with the work. I have found this company to be reliable, honest and very helpful and upfront.

We needed a leaky pipe repaired. It was a Saturday. I located Twin City Pipeworks on Angies List and was surprised to receive a response from them that day, even though their business was closed on the weekend. I made an appointment for Monday. Dave arrived promptly on Monday, was very knowledgeble, answered all questions thoroughly and it was determined that a section of pipe needed to be replaced. Dave also inspected surrounding pipe and found another one that needed to be capped before it broke and flooded our basement. The result of his work was that we now no longer have a problem with those pipes. I will definitely call this business again for any future work we may need to have done on our plumbing.

Dave is amazing. We literally had just closed on a home and when we arrived at the house we smelled natural gas. We called Counterpoint and they detected a small leak and turned off the gas. We now had no heat in a different house on Friday with a temperature of 20 deg. We asked our new neighbors for someone to call and they recommended Dave at TC Pipeworks. He returned our call immediately, we told him the issue and he headed to our house in south Minneapolis from Stillwater on a Friday at 3:30. He arrived in 45 mins and was able to fix the problem within the hour at a fair price. He is professional, personable and very knowledgeable.We will definitely continue to use Dave.

After waking to the nightmare of a flooded basement, one of the first action steps was to find a plumber to repair the damaged spigot and pipes. I did a little online searching and ended up calling Dave at Twin City Pipeworks. And we were SO glad we did!

Dave is the best! I was impressed with him & his service the very 1st time back in 2016 when he replaced my water heater. So this past week I needed to call him because the pilot light wouldn't reignite on my water heater. It was Wednesday the 9th & the soonest available online appointment was for the following Monday the 13th. Dave made a point to call that same evening, saying he'd try to stop by between appointments the following day. He managed to showed up by noon & discovered the pilot ignitions part needed t/b replaced. Unsure as to whether he could get the replacement part, suggested I keep the original monday appt. To my surprise, Dave showed up a short time later with the replacement part & had my water heart up & running in no time. I'll start off by saying that I HIGHLY recommend Twin City Pipeworks and they will be my first call for any plumbing needs going forward.

I scheduled an appointment to have a water main valve replaced so some other home maintenance issues could be done. Dave was on time (maybe a little early?), fixed the issue without having to replace anything. He also gave me tips on how to keep this valve in working order, to use it regularly and it will work fine for years. Dave also took the time to look over my other appliances to make sure everything looked good and was working properly.

Both times Dave was scheduled to be at my home, he was exactly on time and we had a candid discussion about my home's needs. The work performed was done quickly and professionally. I will certainly be using his services again for the next home project.

Update: I had him out once again and still extremely satisfied with his work and professionalism. He worked with me to find a better solution to my needs even though it was a smaller commission for him.

Our house has a good basic plumbing system. However, we sometime wish to add a feature (e.g. frost-free outside faucets) and encounter the occasional problem (e.g. a tee that should have been an angled connection). Dave has handled both kinds of situations with apparent ease -- the mark of a real professional.

Dave replaced the innards of a water saver toilet from the 1980s that he said predates most of the old water saver toilets in existence. The toilet had never really flushed well, but in recent years didn’t work unless a pitcher of water was added to the bowl in order to facilitate flushing. A different plumber had tried to repair this toilet years back, but after an afternoon of attempting to make it work properly, gave up and left. Dave restored the toilet to perfect working order in approximately 5 minutes.
Then, Dave tackled repairing the gasket and valve which turns on water in the basement to the outside water faucet. It had been leaking and was unusable because it leaked profusely if the water supply was turned on. Dave made this repair quickly, replacing a section of pipe and the valve—and no more leaking. I have been able to use the outdoor faucet without water leaking all over my furnace room since Dave’s repair.
The four experiences I’ve had with Twin City Pipeworks have all been extremely positive. That’s why I continue to call Dave. He’s honest, hardworking and does a great job. Unlike some other plumbers, I’ve never had to call Dave back because his work failed immediately after he left the premises. The job has ALWAYS been done right the first time.

He finished two jobs in around 40 minutes. A plumber who did the same work four hours years ago took around two hours and charged more. That plumber kept on going out for parts. Dave replaced all older water piping with new PEX water lines. He also repaired some other plumbing issues that he or I noticed while he was here. Work was completed in 1 1/2 days at a very reasonable cost. We now have full flow throughout the house and the water even feels softer.

Other service: replace kitchen sink. Dave was great. On time, clear about price up front, and good quality work. Although he originally planned for a couple of hours work, the sink I bought didn't fit, so we figured out a solution where he would come back in the afternoon to install the new sink after I bought a different one. He did not charge extra for the added time to come back, and the final result was really nice in a non-standard situation.

Discovered a leak in pipe joint that I could not repair. Contacted TC Pipeworks after finding them on line. Very happy with promptness in responding to our call, they were able to come the same day and they explained clearly what needed to be done and quickly made the needed repairs.

Dave from TC Pipeworks was available next day to come to my house and fix a leaking copper kitchen drain elbow.

I’m pretty handy myself (handy enough to uninstall my dishwasher), but this leak was inside of the wall behind my kitchen sink, saturating the plywood and dripping into the floor below.

Dave did a great job with the initial issue and he even addressed my non-functioning garbage disposal and dishwasher supply and drain line while we was there.

I didn’t do any price shopping, so I cannot comment if it was a cheap or expensive fare.

Dave is great. HE replaced a kitchen sink Ptrap. He’s prompt and thorough and explains upfront all the potential options he can see. Integrating new technology into older houses doesn’t daunt him and if you show any interest, you’ll get to hear about the history of plumbing and building codes while he works. I purchased a home recently, and when I turned on the water to an outside faucet, there was a leak in the ceiling. And I couldn't even locate the turn-on valves for the other outdoor faucets. Dave & Tim came out the next day, and found that there were leaking pipes leading to all 3 outdoor faucets. They gave me advice on what to do, and a quote for their part in repairing the pipes. While they were there, they replaced a float in on of the toilets.

Our garbage disposal stopped working and we thought it probably needed replacement. PDave first checked to see why the current dispossl was not working and discovered that it was jammed. He was able to remove the debris causing the jam and got it functioning normally. He advised that our current didposal was a good quality disposal and was running great, so no need for replacement. Not sure which one is the one I am thinking of. Dave was very very personable but told us that what we wanted could not be done. Didn’t look more then 15 minutes. The next plumber came and said he could do it all. Nothing against Dave, just felt like he didn’t want the job. He did not call either to say when he would be here, just showed up. Which was fine because we were watching for him. I just kept waiting for that call that would tell me how far out he was.

Dave was early to my appointment, and was able to solve all of my plumbing needs! He located why there was a leak under my sink (drain was no longer sealed to the sink), discovered the cause of the water stain on my kitchen ceiling (loose toilet in bathroom above) and cleared two slow drains (tub and laundry sink) as well as replaced the faucet to my 40-year old laundry sink that struggled to completely shut off. He also offered great advice on how to keep my drains clear without draino. I would use him again and again - but probably won't need to for a very long time.

They showed up on time wearing shoe covers to protect my white carpeting. Very professional workmanship. Upfront with the fees involved. Highly recommend the service.

Dave showed up actually a few minutes earlier than scheduled. Some plumbers run late, so I was pleasantly surprised when Dave actually showed up early. He took one look at what my issue was and had the parts on his truck. He gave us suggestions to improve some other issues we were having and gave me a quote on another job I need/want done. He knew about lifetime warranty which was unexpected but much appreciated. He did some other jobs as well plus gave good advice on miscellaneous questions that I had. Normally I don't give a top rating, because where do you go from there if you find better service? However, I am convinced that you will find no better plumbing service than that provided by Dave and Tim aka Twin Cities Pipeworks! I had them install a new hot water heater, a sump pump backup system and a sink drain system for my basement bar. They delivered on time and money as promised. Twin Cities Pipeworks was a great company to work with being prompt, fast and courteous and I highly recommend them for any of your plumbing needs.

He looked at our water heater and determined that nothing major was wrong with it. He certainly could have done a bunch of unnecessary work, but said it was only the pilot light. He also pointed out what kind of water heater we need the next time we need a new one. I really appreciated his honesty, and was a nice guy to talk to! Will definitely use them in the future.

I called what does non-emergency issue with our toilet. It was taking a long time to fill up with water. Urge to their website to schedule an appointment. It was very easy and user-friendly.
Choice an appointment for the next morning. They were there 15 minutes early, solve the problem with a small part and we're gone before the appointment time began.

June 2018. Called for a leaking sink drain repair. It's great to be able to schedule online. Got email confirmation, reminder via email and now the review. I like these steps! Dave(??) showed promptly at the scheduled hour, was very pleasant, courteous, fast and cleaned up after himself. I didn't compare costs from others (this job was too small) but I would gladly contact him for future jobs!
June 2019. Called Dave again. Bigger, more costly job this time: replace water heater! Dave promptly responded and scheduled me for next morning service. He always has a smile and is a pleasure to have around. He took care of replacing the malfunctioning unit, removed old unit, and left premises looking great! He pleasantly answered all my dumb questions, too. He even resolved a problem with a leaking outdoor faucet while waiting for the water heater to drain. Dave is the man to call, you will be pleased with his work.
