Pipeworks comp came to my house on time, finish the work in a mannerly time, 10x thank you for his patience because I ran over 20 minutes late for the payment due to a last min doc appt for my baby from the hospital. The plumber still went over the work he did in the most respectful way and taught me how to maintain and save money on other things I asked to be quoted. I love working with people who teach me how to do the proper things in the most appropriate ways. My water heater failed when my husband was out of town and he came over right away to drain if needed and offer options for replacement, knowledgeable about new energy efficient options. He answered our questions.No pressure sales-we are fairly new to the area so wanted to check out other options and prices. His price was fair and competitive- he did the work-easy to schedule-online confirmations and he as prompt.

Dave offers excellent service. He was a few minutes early and was flexible with things going on in our house. He explained exactly what needed to be done and how much it would cost before doing it. He ran into a little difficulty with the faucet and had all of the tools on hand to deal with that problem. I intend to hire him in the future for any and all plumbing needs that we have. I highly recommend him. Dave has now worked with us on multiple occasions. Even install the new natural gas outlet for our new dryer. He always explains what he's doing and is clear about what the cost will be. I really appreciate that he takes the time to be thorough and to make sure we understand everything. Had an issue with shower faucet broken and not shutting off at rental. They did a good job for a fair price. Also was installing a dishwasher and current connection was not up to code for new install so they were able to bring that to code so washer delivery could install. I have used Twin City Pipeworks several times in the past. I trust them and their work. Recently I discovered a leak under my kitchen sink. I had Dave come out and he quickly showed me what was wrong and fixed it. While we were talking I told him I wasn't happy with my kitchen faucet and we decided to replace it with a new one he had on his truck (really a good move I love this new one). I had him return the next week and replace my water heater and my outdoor faucet along with some basement piping. I am really happy with the work. I have found this company to be reliable, honest and very helpful and upfront.

We needed a leaky pipe repaired. It was a Saturday. I located Twin City Pipeworks on Angies List and was surprised to receive a response from them that day, even though their business was closed on the weekend. I made an appointment for Monday. Dave arrived promptly on Monday, was very knowledgeble, answered all questions thoroughly and it was determined that a section of pipe needed to be replaced. Dave also inspected surrounding pipe and found another one that needed to be capped before it broke and flooded our basement. The result of his work was that we now no longer have a problem with those pipes. I will definitely call this business again for any future work we may need to have done on our plumbing.

We recently hired Dave for a toilet repair - his online scheduling tool was a breeze and Dave was prompt, courteous, and very professional. Dave was able to identify the problem right away and went above and beyond to locate a hard-to-find replacement part (even being willing to head over to Hudson, WI, to find a supplier). After exhausting all options to find a supplier who had the part on-hand, Dave was great about laying out our options, the pros and cons of each option, and the pricing differences. He answered all of our questions right away and we never felt pushed to go with the more expensive choice. When it came down to it, we chose to purchase a new toilet from him and get it installed. During the install, Dave was again prompt, courteous, professional, and took extra time to explain some additional findings about our floors, give us a rundown of what he had done, and answered our final questions. He's a great guy, very approachable and down to earth, and he will definitely be our first call for any future plumbing needs! Would highly recommend Twin City Pipeworks to everyone!

Dave fixed a problem caused by the substandard installation of a faucet by a different company. I will always call Twin City Pipeworks from now on! Dave also did a great job of explaining the what and why of the problem, and he had to do some creative plumbing to properly install the outdoor faucet. Dave is amazing. We literally had just closed on a home and when we arrived at the house we smelled natural gas. We called Counterpoint and they detected a small leak and turned off the gas. We now had no heat in a different house on Friday with a temperature of 20 deg. We asked our new neighbors for someone to call and they recommended Dave at TC Pipeworks. He returned our call immediately, we told him the issue and he headed to our house in south Minneapolis from Stillwater on a Friday at 3:30. He arrived in 45 mins and was able to fix the problem within the hour at a fair price. He is professional, personable and very knowledgeable.We will definitely continue to use Dave.

After waking to the nightmare of a flooded basement, one of the first action steps was to find a plumber to repair the damaged spigot and pipes. I did a little online searching and ended up calling Dave at Twin City Pipeworks. And we were SO glad we did!

Dave was courteous and sympathetic on the phone, and we were easily able to schedule the appointment. Dave arrived on time and went right to work. He quickly diagnosed the problem areas, and provided the quote for the repair. We thought the quote was reasonable. Dave did the work, and provided comments and answered questions along the way. He has a great sense of humor and solid work ethic, which was really welcomed by us as we were navigating the unfortunate situation.

Dave got the job done, and even the mitigation workers who came the following day commented on the quality of the plumbing work. We asked Dave about a couple of other plumbing-related potential issues, and he took the time to explain what those situations typically involved, and he didn’t try to talk us into having him do them. But we did ask for a quote range, which he provided.

If we decide to have more work done in the future, we will not hesitate to call Dave at Twin City Pipeworks!

Dave is the best! I was impressed with him & his service the very 1st time back in 2016 when he replaced my water heater. So this past week I needed to call him because the pilot light wouldn't reignite on my water heater. It was Wednesday the 9th & the soonest available online appointment was for the following Monday the 13th. Dave made a point to call that same evening, saying he'd try to stop by between appointments the following day. He managed to showed up by noon & discovered the pilot ignitions part needed t/b replaced. Unsure as to whether he could get the replacement part, suggested I keep the original monday appt. To my surprise, Dave showed up a short time later with the replacement part & had my water heart up & running in no time. I'll start off by saying that I HIGHLY recommend Twin City Pipeworks and they will be my first call for any plumbing needs going forward.

I scheduled an appointment to have a water main valve replaced so some other home maintenance issues could be done. Dave was on time (maybe a little early?), fixed the issue without having to replace anything. He also gave me tips on how to keep this valve in working order, to use it regularly and it will work fine for years. Dave also took the time to look over my other appliances to make sure everything looked good and was working properly.

Update: I had him out once again and still extremely satisfied with his work and professionalism. He worked with me to find a better solution to my needs even though it was a smaller commission for him.

Dave replaced the innards of a water saver toilet from the 1980s that he said predates most of the old water saver toilets in existence. The toilet had never really flushed well, but in recent years didn’t work unless a pitcher of water was added to the bowl in order to facilitate flushing. A different plumber had tried to repair this toilet years back, but after an afternoon of attempting to make it work properly, gave up and left. Dave restored the toilet to perfect working order in approximately 5 minutes.
Then, Dave tackled repairing the gasket and valve which turns on water in the basement to the outside water faucet. It had been leaking and was unusable because it leaked profusely if the water supply was turned on. Dave made this repair quickly, replacing a section of pipe and the valve—and no more leaking. I have been able to use the outdoor faucet without water leaking all over my furnace room since Dave’s repair.
The four experiences I’ve had with Twin City Pipeworks have all been extremely positive. That’s why I continue to call Dave. He’s honest, hardworking and does a great job. Unlike some other plumbers, I’ve never had to call Dave back because his work failed immediately after he left the premises. The job has ALWAYS been done right the first time.

They were a little behind schedule, but called me with a good estimate of their arrival time. Two sinks had dripping problems, with one having a difficult-to-remove faucet handle. Both sinks were restored to normal service within a reasonable time, including needing to install one new cutoff valve. Total charge was within my original estimate. For the life span of the house people did their own jimmy rigging on those pipes. My sink was slow and clogged and smelly for most of the 30 yrs I lived here. Dave from TC Pipeworks was available next day to come to my house and fix a leaking copper kitchen drain elbow.

I’m pretty handy myself (handy enough to uninstall my dishwasher), but this leak was inside of the wall behind my kitchen sink, saturating the plywood and dripping into the floor below.

Dave did a great job with the initial issue and he even addressed my non-functioning garbage disposal and dishwasher supply and drain line while we was there.

Dave is great. HE replaced a kitchen sink Ptrap. He’s prompt and thorough and explains upfront all the potential options he can see. Integrating new technology into older houses doesn’t daunt him and if you show any interest, you’ll get to hear about the history of plumbing and building codes while he works. This was my third time hiring him to work in my early 1920s house and he’ll be my first call if (when) something else goes wrong.

I had water all over the floor and was not sure of the source. Dave arrived within 20 minutes and quickly identified our failing water heater as the culprit. We discussed options and he got our new, higher quality water heater installed. He also replaced both the gas and cold water valves and brought them up to code. I purchased a home recently, and when I turned on the water to an outside faucet, there was a leak in the ceiling. And I couldn't even locate the turn-on valves for the other outdoor faucets. Dave & Tim came out the next day, and found that there were leaking pipes leading to all 3 outdoor faucets. They gave me advice on what to do, and a quote for their part in repairing the pipes. While they were there, they replaced a float in on of the toilets.

Our garbage disposal stopped working and we thought it probably needed replacement. PDave first checked to see why the current dispossl was not working and discovered that it was jammed. He was able to remove the debris causing the jam and got it functioning normally. He advised that our current didposal was a good quality disposal and was running great, so no need for replacement. Not sure which one is the one I am thinking of. Dave was very very personable but told us that what we wanted could not be done. Didn’t look more then 15 minutes. The next plumber came and said he could do it all. Nothing against Dave, just felt like he didn’t want the job. He did not call either to say when he would be here, just showed up. Dave was early to my appointment, and was able to solve all of my plumbing needs! He located why there was a leak under my sink (drain was no longer sealed to the sink), discovered the cause of the water stain on my kitchen ceiling (loose toilet in bathroom above) and cleared two slow drains (tub and laundry sink) as well as replaced the faucet to my 40-year old laundry sink that struggled to completely shut off. He also offered great advice on how to keep my drains clear without draino. I would use him again and again - but probably won't need to for a very long time.

June 2018. Called for a leaking sink drain repair. It's great to be able to schedule online. Got email confirmation, reminder via email and now the review. I like these steps! Dave(??) showed promptly at the scheduled hour, was very pleasant, courteous, fast and cleaned up after himself. I didn't compare costs from others (this job was too small) but I would gladly contact him for future jobs!
June 2019. Called Dave again. Bigger, more costly job this time: replace water heater! Dave promptly responded and scheduled me for next morning service. He always has a smile and is a pleasure to have around. He took care of replacing the malfunctioning unit, removed old unit, and left premises looking great! He pleasantly answered all my dumb questions, too. He even resolved a problem with a leaking outdoor faucet while waiting for the water heater to drain.
