If I could give zero stars, thats exactly what they they deserve for this horrible service. Kintex was sent by Choice Home Warranty to check my toilet that was leaking from the bottom. First visit was a diagnosis of a possible broken flange, which was decided without even touching the toilet. Then I was told that if the flange was broken I needed to pay $400 for the repair before they even contacted the warranty company. When the guy came back out, he requested $450 and at this point, the toilet was still never touched. After a back and forth between them and the warranty company, they came and took the toilet apart and found that the flange was not broken, but it was a stoppage. The plumber left again and 2 days later returned only to take the toilet apart, then left it in the middle of the floor supposedly waiting for an authorization. Left the toilet in the middle of floor and never returned. Came back 2 days later and stated they could not unclog the line, but still did not put the toilet back. This whole process was almost a whole month and til this day, the toilet is still sitting in the middle of the floor. This is my first experience dealing with a warranty company and this is by far the worst ever, especially for a first time home buyer.

Earlier last week y Water Heater broke down due to it being over 20 years old. The unfortunate thing is that I was left with the impression that a new Water Heater would cost me an arm and a leg. When I called Kintex and explained to their dispatcher what the situation was, she put me on hold and 5 minutes later a visit was scheduled.In the span of 3 days they came, looked and the water heater, gave me a reasonable price for the replacement and the labor, got a new unit and replaced it. Compared to the usual pricing from other companies, Kintex offered me a nice deal. From what I have heard from my friends and neighbors, water heater replacements usually take around 2-3 weeks to complete. In my case it took 2-3 days. So for anyone that is looking for a fast and reliable service, Kintex Plumbing are the people you want!

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY! This company responded to my home warranty claim. Plumber was annoyed with my issue immediately upon seeing it. He said it was not an easy fix and he would have to call my warranty company about it. He took pictures and went to his van to call the company. He came back after l 30 minutes and said he could not wait for a response from the warranty company and had to go. I had a broken pipe and faucet with a hose stuck on it I asked him to fix the faucet even if he couldn't repair the pipe as it was covered by my home warranty. He couldn't fix the issue and said it was broken. He told me it was a cheap part and I could just go get one for $7. So nothing was done and I had to pay the $75 service charge even though he never got a response from my warranty company about whether or not it was covered. I was so insulted by his attitude as he clearly seemed put out by my issue and the fact he might actually have to do something for my home warranty service call. Would never recommend them to anyone.

Tech Peter very rude wouldn't accept cash demanded my credit card to keep on file. After speaking with his manager who agreed to accept cash for service fee my appointment was mysteriously canceled. When called back same day of appointment no appointments were available. Mind you toilet was backed up. New appointment was 1 week later. Tech again demanded credit card from my tenant before he diagnosed problem. My tenant felt pressured to give it due to the nature of the problem. Work was done, tenant satisfied

If I could put no stars I would. I had the worst experience with these plumbers that came out from this company. They were subcontracted from an insurance that I have. The first day they came out the plumber lied to me and said that he had to go buy a part would return to fix my toilet. and he never came back, when I called the office, they said that he had gone out and had to go order the part yet he never had the decency to call me and tell me that he was no longer going to show up that day. The next thing was that they came back to fix my original problem, which was stoppage and flooding in my master bathroom , when they came back to fix the toilet issue, they literally broke off a piece of my toilet, and they still wanted me to pay for a new toilet when they had broken it. Yes, my toilet supposedly was messed up but it was not broken when they came in to fix it , as of now, I still haven't had any resolve with them and this has been months ago. I feel like I do not need to pay for the toilet, especially because they broke a piece off. They saythat I need to pay for a new toilet, because my toilet was messed up prior to them breaking it.

I have one of those Home Warranty‘s, and they called to verify that the problem was covered, stopped up toilets, and they said it was. The plumber said for me to pick up the toilets if I wanted to, and that they would be in touch in a couple of days well a week and a half goes by and I don’t hear anything. I finally call into the office for them to tell me that the warranty does not cover, the corrosion of the buildup in the toilets! So therefore I’m not covered under that. Well, it would’ve been nice for you to tell me this. So where is my $65 service fee? You didn’t do anything. I want my money back and then maybe I’ll change my review. But right now all you did was take my money and ignored me for a week and a half after you lied to me. So therefore no, I do not recommend this plumbing company at all.Michael Shane Jones

They contacted me shortly after I put in a claim on my home warranty, they set up an appointment that worked for me, they called before they showed up and they showed up within the window. Tony, my technician, completed the repair in less than 30 minutes and the job was done completely and without a problem.

We got a consultation done by a worker and he was on time and gave us good information and was professional with information. He was knowledgeable about what to do and not much was done because it was a consultation. We are waiting to hear back from the warranty company on what to do next. My only dislike was the company calling to get a credit card information for a job that wasn’t done yet. I was not comfortable giving my information without first seeing or having someone come and check things out.

Avoid this companyThey sent a technician to diagnosis and fix a clogged toilet and a clogged garbage disposal. The technician barely touched my toilet and refused to look at the clogged disposal. We tried to call him back and he did not answer my calls. We attempted to call the company to make a complaint and they dismissed and did nothing to solve the problem. I have to get another 65 dollars to get another plumber or use this company. I am going get choice warranty and avoid using this plumbing company ever again.

The technician that came out spent 5 minutes and misdiagnosed the issue with the water heater. Claimed it needed a new part which was NOT accurate at all. I got my water heater working and I'm not a certified technician. I ADVISE TO READ REVIEWS AND NOT USE KINTEX PLUMBING!!!

Very unfortunate situation.Plumber came for 60 sec and never picked up the phone. Gave wrong information to the home warranty just because he was in extreme rush.Thankfully I was able to contact another Professional company who came the very next day and fixed the problem within 15 min.Please do yourself a favour and DO NOT use this company. Jose was unprofessional as well as Nora the office manager who was extremely inpatient an disrespectful (all she cared about was the 85$ service call).

I called in for repair of my tankless water heater. The office setup 2 appointments, one for diagnosing my problem, the other for fixing it. Both times the technician was prompt, called ahead of time, and efficient - all of which are rare these days.I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and professional company.

Lovers. Couldn't even find the clean out. Even stated that I didn't have one. Maybe if my house was 100 years ago. Tell me what modern construction doesn't have a clean out. I was referred to KinTex by my home warranty. I scheduled the appointment for them to fix my tankless water heater. They gave me a block of time they would be here. I called the night before and during the day of the appointment. Both times it took roughly 15 minutes to reach someone. The day of the scheduled visit they never showed up.

Never got to their plumbing service, their customer service and scheduling is a terrible situation. On hold for 1hour and 20 minutes starting at 3rd caller in line when I called customer service to schedule an appointment. Waited a week for first appointment which they canceled day of and was rescheduled for a week later. DONOT USE IF ITS AN EMERGENCY.

Kintex was assigned to us by our home warranty company and I will NEVER use this service for anything again. After being told what the issue was the technician replicated the issue which involved backflow into the house, then merely left without advising that a huge mess was made (I was on a work call while he was working, but he did interrupt to let me know that home warranty wouldn’t cover the work and that he was leaving.)When I complained to the dispatcher about what was not done, his response was merely “maybe he didn’t see it.”NEVER AGAIN! If I could give a zero I would.

They didn't do anything other than look at it told my husband someone else would be in touch so someone else could come out and never heard from anyone. Kintex Plumbing was assigned to fix my garbage disposal. The original appointment was set for Saturday, October 8, 2022 between 7AM to 12PM. However, I received a phone call saying that they could come Wednesday, October 5, 2022 between 8AM and 12PM. I was told that I would receive a phone call approximately 30 minutes before the technician's arrival.At 12PM on Wednesday, I had not heard from anyone so I called the company to figure out what was going on. When I told them my concern about the technician not showing up during the window AND not updating me if there was a delay, the lady tells me that my window was from 9AM to 1PM. There is NO way that I got the window confused because I wrote it down and saved it in my calendar. I was told from 8AM to 12PM and I reinforced this with the lady.Her response was, So are you not going to be home? She was completely ignoring the point that I was trying to make so I reiterated my concern. She tells me that she can try to call the technician for an estimate on the time, but that he probably won't answer since he's in the field. I tell her to call him.After a brief hold, she gets back on and tells me that the technician isn't available and that there are three more service appointments ahead of mine so that she would be unable to give me an estimate of the technician's arrival time.I once again repeat that the expectation was that the technician would arrive between 8AM and 12PM. She then states, So would you like to reschedule? I inform her that I cannot take another day off from work so she offers me a Saturday appointment.Needless to say, I requested to be reassigned to another company because their professionalism was nonexistence and they had no remorse for inconveniencing me.

They had to leave to get the required part and communicated the time line for so doing. They returned with the part and completed the repair. I used Kintex Plumbing because that is the provider my home warranty company sent to repair my shower. They were very professional and showed up on time. They needed to get a part, which they were able to get within only a couple of days. I was pleasantly surprised, since it seems like it is taking so long to get anything nowadays. They came back and fixed the problem without making a mess. Now my kids can stop using my shower and use their own. :)

Through Home Warranty they were assigned to my claim. Their technician came to my house and by just looking at the unit said it has to be changed. He didn't even touch it, take the cover out to check even if it was getting power, if water was running, nothing, he just worked his magic through his eyes. He left in 5 minutes and reported to the Home Warranty that the units has a leak, moisture and rust inside. Because this is considered a maintenance issue now the Home Warranty says they are not approving the claim. I was already skeptical in getting anything out of the Home Warranty, this service confirmed me that Home Warranty does nothing to select reputable and responsible contractors but a bunch of scammers. It almost feels like they work together to make sure the customer gets screwed every time. Cancelling my home warranty and reporting this scammer.

Kintex took a few weeks to get information to my home warranty company thus delaying authorization and repair. Their initial technician told me that builders grade faucet replacement wasn’t available, though I knew was incorrect, but wanted me to provide pictures of one we would want then they told my warranty company that I didn’t want a builder’s grade replacement. After following up with Kintex many times each week over the couple weeks and constantly reaching out to my warranty company who had to get Kintex to supply them the report we finally got our faucet replaced. All through the ordeal I informed both companies that a builder’s grade faucet would suffice. Yes, warranty companies take their sweet old time in authorizations but the lack of Kintex getting the report to them caused longer than acceptable delays.I do have to say that once Kintex got the faucet the installation went well.

I had plumber come out through my American home warranty plan. When the plumber arrived, he didn't have a tool in his hand or a clipboard nor name badge; I could have been letting a complete stranger into my home. Within 2 minutes of him being in my home he had already tried to upcharge me $250 and decided he was going to drop on my brand new tiled floor the flange which contained all of the wax from the Ring that goes on it. After the plumber made a big deal about the tile covering the hole where the pipe connects the toilet, I told him I can chip it away; which I did in 30 seconds. After showing him that the tile is no longer an issue, he insisted on telling whomever he was speaking to on the phone that he can't work on it because there's tile in the way. He then said my supervisor said I can't work on it I repeated so that the person on the phone could hear I remove the tile & it's no longer an issue, but he refused to work on the toilet that he was called out for. I immediately asked him to leave my home and he was more than happy to do so. It's quite obvious he doesn't like working Saturdays and didn't want to be there in the first place; he sat in the parking lot for about another 15 to 20 minutes before he left. Very frustrating very disappointing. I'm sure Kintex plumbing can do better than that, but I would never allow that man in my home again. Poor representation of what seems to be a good company, sad.

A piece of my ceiling caved in and started dripping water everywhere. Kintex was there the next day, found the issue and fixed everything. They were on time and the plumber was very nice and efficient. I would definitely recommend and will use them again for any future issues.

Honestly, I'm very disappointed with the assessment that I got from one of your technicians because he said I would have to replace the entire faucet to fix the leak that was only on the hot water faucet. That would've cost me over $700. Instead the handyman in my building was able to help by simply ordering a faucet cartridge that was only $25 and he charged me $50 to replace it. So my total cost was $75 and it took him less than 10 minutes to do it.Not only do I pay $600 a year for my home warranty, but on top of that I paid $85 for the service fee to have your technician show up and give me a useless recommendation. I recommend you relay this message to your manager to have your company train the technicians better.

This company is the worse, if I could give them a Zero I would. They don’t return phone calls. They were more concerned about selling me faucets than doing the job at hand. Took them weeks to call me after it was approved. When I told her that I already had my facet because I was changing my vanity. She said I have to let the technician know. So I’m like what’s the major deal if I have my own facets. After that conversation, I didn’t hear from these people for two weeks , by then I had gotten someone else to do the job. I told my warranty company to NEVER assign this company to me again.

Waste of time!! Were called to clear a backed up kitchen sink drainage. Took 4 days to arrive. Could not get the snake to the blockage area and said they’d return with different equipment. Did not return and after my follow up told me pipe was likely damaged and they would not return. Next day I purchased my own snake, ran some hot water and did it on my own.

The delay between the troubleshoot visit and the repair visit was 10 days during which time I was unable to use my shower having to go to the gym for that purpose.The technician was crass at the best but got the job done and was able to repair the tile he had broken out quickly and cosmetically very well.

This was the second company Sent by American Home Shield. I asked for a second one because the first one did not diagnosed the pipe leak and said the problem was related to the garbage disposal (gd) being jammed due to negligence. This new tech not only fixed the gd, but he also fixed the leak and stoppage problem. I had bought a new gd but there was no need to install it.Tech was very professional, seemed sincere, and fixed everything quickly and expediently.

Kintex was sent out by our warranty company for a slow shower leak. Technician said he couldn’t find a leak. We showed him a video of it actively leaking. He said well it’s not leaking now. This is second time this company has just taken our call out fee and done nothing. Called our own plumber who found the leak and fixed it. I would not recommend this company.

I was forced to use this company due to Choice Home Warranty’s selection. I have a shower with concrete walls and floor. So I had a shower arm on a shower head that sprung a leak.The technician that came out first said that the fact that the shower wasn’t done would be a problem. I had to explain to him that was how the shower was designed. Plus… was he telling me that it would be easier to break tile, repair the shower and the try to match the tile and fix everything. Anyway, he came back said that he couldn’t do anything about it, apologized and left. A few days later I get a voicemail saying the repair was approved and that I needed to call the to schedule the appointment. So I called to see how it was approved when he said there was nothing he could do. I get a hold of a lady that proceeds to tell me that before we Can make the appointment I need to pay the uncovered costs that the warranty doesn’t cover. They wanted over $500 because the warranty doesn’t cover repiping. I proceeded to explain to her that the shower arm was broken and needed to be replaced and that it doesn’t need to be repiped. She argued that the repiping was necessary in order to replace the shower head. Needless to say, she didn’t know what she was talking about but she sure tried to sound like she did. This company is a scam. They already receive $75 for a call out fee. They are going to get paid by the warranty company and then they try to rob you blind in the process. $500 to change a shower head. It took me a trip to the department store and less that $5 to fix problem. Ask for a different company if your warranty tries to give you these people.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Totally unprofessional, incapable of coordinating simple tasks and the plumbers proved to be poor communicators who showed no interest in resolving the issue. First, scheduled a service call and had to wait two weeks for approval from the home warranty. Upon return, the new plumber had no idea what the first one did and made a dozen excuses to why the work couldn't be done and how terribly the first plumber did in documenting the request. Also explained a $300 part that I was being charged for outside the $125 service call was unnecessary. These guys are crooks. DO NOT HIRE!

This is a home warranty claim - My water heater stopped working and needed to be replaced. The Kintex technician came out and said that it needed to be replaced and that the vent was in the wrong location on the roof. Kintex suggested that the claim be turned down because of the issue with the roof vent although the water heater needs to be replaced. I had an inspector come out and he stated the vent is in the correct location and would not prevent the replacement of the water heater. Very disappointed in this company. I would not recommend as it feels like they try to find something that will keep them from doing any warranty work.

Overall a good experience. They didn't have the parts, so they had to return about six days later. (I wasn't really surprised they didn't have the parts, so I'm not faulting them for this.) This was through Sears Home warranty, so I just had to pay for the service call. Village Plumbing wanted $2500 to repair my tub and shower, so I saved quite a bit going through Sears. The Kintex plumber was very polite and respectful.

I was very impressed with the service I received from Kintex Plumbing Technician Marin. He was Amazing, knowledgeable, Respectful, Polite, Professional, Honest and his Customer Service was awesome. I paid American Home Shield and the first Plumbing company they send to fixed the same issues and they didn't. Kintex Plumbing Technician Marin was able to do and did it with Excellence. I had a problem with my water heater in February 2021 and my warranty company assigned the job to Kintex Company. At the first visit of the technician, he said the gas control valve was bad and ordered a new one to replace it. After the replacement, the problem was not fixed. I informed my warranty company who sent them back. The same technician who replaced the control valve showed up the second time and said again that the gas control valve is bad and needed to be replaced. I doubted his diagnosis that the new gas control valve he had installed a week before was bad. Meanwhile, they kept asking me to pay $150 out of pocket to fix it saying that the warranty company had declined to fix the problem the second time. However, the warranty company said they did not say that and scheduled Kintex Plumbing twice to come back to fix the problem. On both occasions when I called Kintex Plumbing, they insisted the warranty company did not accept to cover the repair, which didn't make sense since the warranty company had sent them to fix it the first time and the second request was for them to properly diagnose and fix the problem. On my second call, again, I was asked to pay $150 out of pocket, which I refused to do.I STRONGLY DISCOURAGE ANYONE READING THIS REVIEWS FROM USING KINTEX. My feedback is one of many others on the web.

Our water heater has been acting up since we purchased our home last summer. We contacted our home warranty company who gave the job to Kintex Plumbing. Kintex was relatively quick to respond and showed up within 2-3 days. That is where the good experience stopped.The technician that showed up was in a hurry the entire time and acted like he was being inconvenienced by being there. He was extremely quick to be dismissive our our problem only saying that we can either live with the noise or we can purchase a replacement water heater. We asked for an estimate for a new water heater and after over a week still have not been able to get one.We cannot comment on this companies actual capabilities because they did not want to get any business or do any work. Not even being able to give an estimate puts this company in the bottom of the barrel. Highly recommend you try someone else for your plumbing needs.

I've hired many plumbers throughout my 35 years of living in FL. Never have I known of such unprofessionalism. Sydney left a very poor installation so I called a couple of real plumber companies for a 2nd opinion. The work done by Kintex was not only wrong but it was illegal too. Leaving an open air vent buried in between 2 walls and then sealed with cement would have brought me a big fine from the City.

They were terrible. Slow to determine unit needed replaced. Scheduled a repair then said they didn’t have the part. Then said insurance would not cover the repairs for a new unit. But they were going to replace a transformer until they found out they stopped making them. Great for the insurance company. They wanted $3400 to replace the unit. I was able to get someone to do it for $1900. I will never use them again. I see why they are the go to provider for the insurance company. They started right away discussing the problems before they even determined the issue. And Fedelity homeowners insurance was the insurance company. I am sure Kintext gets a kickback for finding any issue that will prevent the company from paying out claims.

Beware !!!!! Unfortunately they were unable to complete the repair because they were not allowed to go on the roof to get to the sewer/toilet vent access.. I had to call another plumber to come and fix the problem. I would never recommend using Kintex. I also advised my home warranty service to no longer refer them. Plus I had to pay them for nothing. I used Choice Warranty service for my home warranty and when I explained the situation they refunded the cost of the second plumber. I would recommend Choice Home Warranty service whole heartedly.

I would never recommend this company. This company provided a diagnosis of rocking toilet and wanted to collect a $65 trip fee. Sorry, that's not a diagnosis. Also, the technician came into my home without knocking. I called the company to complain and Dora was incredibly rude and unwilling to hear my complaint. She also suggested I was racist when I said, oh, like Dora the Explorer. I was simply associating her name with something I knew, but somehow she was offended by that. After the technician said they wouldn't charge my credit card....they charged my credit card! I'll be contesting the charge.

I was told that I needed a new water heater during my first visit but a different report was given to my home warranty company . The person that came out for the repair was very unfriendly and was visibly unhappy when I asked him to wear shoe covers not only his first visit but again during his rainy second visit. I was in a bed room when I turned and he was suddenly there saying that he needed to turn on the water to drain the line. That would have been fine had he ask to come into the room. I could have been undressed or who knows. His attitude was not polite at all and I couldn’t wait to get him out of my house.

They are a associated with some type of contract work with TXU. They came out and they never contacted me on my status. I paid a DEDUCTIBLE that now they are saying it’s a SERVICE FEE for the driver driving to my house. Apparently the issue is not covered because it’s under cement. They told me they do not get any payment that I needed to contact TXU. Now they are each throwing the ball at each other not to refund me my DEDUCTIBLE. Had they said it was a SERVICE FEE I wouldn’t be upset or putting up an agreement!!

I have a leak that has caused the ceiling to collapse. They sent a plumber out and he could not find a leak. So the plummers sent out an a/c repair company. The a/c repair company came out and said it's definitely a plumbing problem. So today the plummers have come back out again and said that it's a plumbing problem but they are not allowed to get on the roof. I can see the pipe under the a/c unit just open it and fit it. Nope they can not open it cause he can't get on the roof. There has been nothing but back and forth with this company and pointing blame at the other company. I need a leak fixed that is all yet no one seems to want to fix it. Today when I asked the plummer who is going to fix the drain he just said my home warranty will have to figure that out. Thos has been going on for 3 weeks now.

The gentleman that came was rude, loud, not listen at all. I had to walk him out the house. He was so obnoxious I had kids in the house she was screaming over me. When I was speaking to him I tried to calm him down I asked him please let me explain to you but still he was still doing his own thing. There was no way he was going to fix anything because he walked in on his own notion of what he was going to fix but I kept telling him that’s not what’s wrong but he kept telling me he knows best.

My restroom was in real bad shape before Kintex Plumbing came to my home! My toilet was clogged, and to make matters worse some how there was raw sewage coming up the drain from my bathtub. It smelled horrible!! One of the girls that worked there said that she would be sending their Drain Specialist his name was Dennis. Dennis showed up before the time frame they gave me, he was friendly, courteous, and really knowledgeable about the work that he was performing. He managed to finish the job all within 1 hour of arriving. I really appreciated what Kintex did for me. From assisting me with scheduling an appointment, to the plumber's excellent customer service! I saw some of their reviews on Yelp! and let me tell you those reviews on there did not compare to what I experienced! I was extremely satisfied with this company, and I will definitely be referring you to my friends and family! 5 stars for you Kintex Plumbing! You go Kintex Plumbing!

I have TOTAL PROTECT coverage, and they had set an appointment for the morning with Kintex Plumbimg and the guy showed up in the afternoon… I thought to myself, well at least he showed up… Then the guy was clueless about my water heater system, he did not test the system, only asked questions if I had properly maintained the system, I told him YES, and that recently I have a professional come in flush and clean the entire system and filters everything. He took pictures and said he needed to research with the manufacturer and would later call me, and left. So instead of getting a call from him, I got a call from TOTAL PROTECT, saying that Kintex Plumbing inspected the unit and determine that the problem was caused by lack of maintenance and that the filters were not cleaned. And of course, he did mentioned that he never opened the system’s box or check the filters or did anything other than look perplexed and out of place !!! And here’s a shout out to TOTAL PROTECT, this was the second plumber they sent to fix my water heater… at least the first guy came on time and was honest about the fact that he did not know nothing about my heating system and left quickly and not wasting much of my time like Kintex Plumbimg did !!! Word to the wise, don’t use this plumber and don’t buy a plan from TOTAL PROTECT…. It’s a waste of time and money.

Great service. I requested the repair on Tuesday afternoon and the plumber was there Wednesday morning to repair the running toilet. Great service by the technician Antonio. He was very professional, had a sense of urgency and his plumbing knowledge was impressive. Fixed it in no time. Saved me a lot of money I could have paid to the water company due to the leak. Antonio is a great representative of the company and you are lucky to have him on the Fort Lauderdale, FL team. Kintex is very difficult to communicate with. They are a FL and TX company with an automated phone system. To speak with anyone it takes several phone prompts and a wait time of 45 mins ( if you are first in que) The person answering has no plumbing knowledge. They scheduled a plumber, then called the day scheduled and rescheduled 7 days later. We canceled the service and called a local plumber who arrived within 1 hour of our call.

Scheduled them through a home warranty 4 times in the month of December. They finally showed up the last time 1.5 half late. Customer service is terrible. It takes 30-45 minutes on average to talk to someone. They don’t call you if they can’t make an appointment so you’re there waiting during their 4 hour window the is supposed to arrive. They wasted so much of my time in December.

This plumbing company was contracted by my home warranty insurance company. Was called out after certified electrician (also contracted by warranty insurance company) came out and was able to determine that the reason my dishwasher is not working is because it is not receiving hot water. It was explained to me that water coming in to the dishwasher must be approximately 120-130 degrees at the source and the dishwasher is very minimally responsible for heating it further by 5-10 degrees max. My kitchen sink which is directly next to the dishwasher and the bathrooms on the other end of a very big house were warm but it took some time. Turned up the water temperature on the water heater. I had to use them for plumbing issue. They were sent from my Old Republic Home plan. I have to say after reading their reviews from others with home warranties and my own experience with them they do not take care of clients with the warranties but gets 5 stars from their own clients. I took off work to wait for them and now got a call saying they weren't coming after the waiting window. I have had to deal with them 3 times now for the same issues and I am done!

Awful experience,Terrible service, technician was amateurish. Awful sourcing process and overpriced, shocked they are in business at all. Maybe I was unlucky but it was one of the worst service experiences I’ve had in years. It was a simple shower handle replacement. Plumber spent about 30min for actual work. Showed up the first time and made his assessment then came back without asking customer what style or price point I was hoping for the replacement handle. He showed up with a $7 garbage handle. When I stopped him and asked for something a bit better he had to go hunting from one retailer to another (Lowe’s, Home Depot, etc.). Things I could have done. Anyway then they wanted to charge me nearly $500 for all this, it’s a $200 job at most.Beware Houston...seems the reviews are biased.

Terrible customer service. I booked a service with Kintex through my home warranty. The plumber showed up, told me he didn't have the equipment to perform the task required and would request another technician be sent with the proper equipment. That was a lie. The service request was invoiced without solving anything. I tried calling customer service multiple times, and they refuse to send somebody out, or to correct the billing issue. In short, this was akin to theft, and I'm furious.

Worst experience! Unprofessional treatment and bad customer service. Poor plumbing job for resulted in in reduction of pressure in the water system. Bad procedure and issues with inlet valve. When call to check, the person came to my house with aggressive behavior, shouting and claiming he did not have any responsibility. We have to call a real plumber company and paid to sobe the problems you created. Definitely, not recommended a shame we had that experience.

Terrible! Zero stars! I was referred to this company by home warranty (which by the way said they are the only company that services my area). This technician for company came in for 2 minutes and said he would be back later with the parts and walked out. He never came back. I followed up with the company and they said they contacted the home warranty to verify coverage...never saying they could not do the repair or why they had to verify. Again never heard back from them. Followed up with them again and they said the service job is not covered by my home warranty. I called my home warranty and they said the service job is covered...however Kintex Plumbing reported that the problem I had was due to faulty installation. SCAM!!!! I have never had any other company repair. Reading the reviews of this company they have done this before. Do not use!!

I filed a claim with my home warrenty Cross Country to replace my leaking garbage disposal. It took 10 days from the initial contact to get the garbage disposal replaced. I would not recommend both Cross Country and Kibtex. Slow, poor communication and customer service.

I have used this company before gor a hot water heater replacement and had no issues so, the lack of professionalism this time just floored me! It's a long story but I'll say this...service technician told me one thing, told his office another. They left my house a mess then refused to continue with the job (after he told me that he'd call me back and exactly what it would take to find the leak and reroute the plumbing)without explaining why, leaving me with the leak and additional damage. Don't use them for waterline issues. The lack of communication, lying and, inability to finish a job that they started has left my house without water for almost a week. Literally had to call my warranty company to send out a different provider. Very disappointing!So, I actually have an update. Received a call from the manager yesterday. I informed her that she was two days too late and another company was resolving the issue. Come to find out, she wasn't even interested in knowing what happened. She literally reached out to chastise me because of my review here! On top of that, when the new guy came out, he informed me that the other guy's diagnosis was incorrect and the leak was behind my daughter's shower...exactly where I told the other guy I thought it was coming from! He just needed to cut the drywall a tad bit higher, smh. Again, I reiterate, do not use this company for plumbing issues.

My tech person was Marin and he was very communicative, on time and professional. He determined that my very old toilet float mechanism was the culprit for the leak as it was spraying on the underside of the lid then leaking down the outside to the floor. Sink had low water pressure. Technician came out and diagnosed the problem to be sediment stuck in the sink and shower. Told us we needed new cartridges for shower and sink. I get a call from my home warranty saying the service won't be approved because Kintex is saying my entire house needs to be re-piped. They are a scam. Dont trust them. They will lie to you.

Do not use Kintex plumbing !They are unreliable, unprofessional and are only interested in making money. My warranty company sent them out for a water leak and a messed up water heater. First of all they collect the deductible before they provide any service and basically they are only paid to diagnose the problems. They should make that clear when the device call is scheduled. Then they have made several appointments to come out and check my issues and they no show and no call. Well guess that their customers time is not a priority. The first time they came out they totally missed the leak and blamed it on the a/c company. When the a/c company came out they confirmed that it was a water pipe leak. I called Kintex plumbing again and they came out and detected the leak and stated that I needed 50 ft of pipe replaced and they would also request authorisation from warranty company. I also had a work order for a leaky toilet and they cut through the drywall to look for it and couldn’t locate that leak. Well guess what? That drywall area that was cut by the technician was never repaired. When he checked the water heater that day he also told me that it needed to be replaced. Well , another technician came out to my home this week and told me that the water leak was not active at this time because it self sealed itself and they were not going to do the work of replacing the pipe as previously informed. Can you imagine that? The pipes reseated themselves , definetly something new that happens to pipes now. It is definetly a serious leak because the drywall and insulation is severely damaged from the leak. So now I am out of a couple of hundred dollars and am now in a worse predictament now. Not only did they not repair my pipe and water heater issues , took myMoney for nothing and now I have a big hole in my drywall. What a poor representation of plumbing companies here in Houston. Whatever you do don’t use kintex plumbing unless you want to be left in the same predictament as my self!!!!

American home Shield sent kintex plumbing to fix kitchen sink leak and garbage disposal problem. The plumber walks in without a tool in his hand. It was pretty sad to see a plumber walk into our home with his hands in the pocket. The original request was sent on Jan 21 2022 and as of of Feb 9 2022 almost 3 weeks later my kitchen faucet still leaking and when i contact AHS their response waiting for report from kintex plumbing. Do not call kintex plumbing for any of your needs better find someone else who can actually fix your plumbing problem

I am very grateful to the company Kintex Plumbing, LLC and personally Klimen Stefanov for professional assistance in fixing a leak in the shower cabin, which employees of other plumbing companies could not find and fix for years! Kintex Plumbing, LLC was contracted through Sears Home Warranty to replace my hot water heater. There is a process to get this done and unfortunately, the Kintex Plumbing technician did not set the proper expectation on the process required to get approval from Sears. After speaking with Kintex Plumbing customer service, I realize the technician actually lied about the process. I ended up getting approval from Sears to secure a vendor to complete the task, pay out of pocket and have them reimburse me.

Earlier today Kintex Plumbing came to my home and serviced both of my electric water heaters. I had no idea that there were so many components to electronic water heaters! The technician immediately knew what the issue was and in no time replaced the thermostat and elements in both of my water heaters. The job was done fast and thoroughly. Overall I had a great experience with Kintex Plumbing. Started out with a very courteous individual on the phone who answered my call immediately and got me scheduled for next day service. The techinician showed up on time and were great. Clean work and good explanation of the issue. I would definitely work with them again and recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing service.

This company was recommended by my home warranty service. I really appreciate there concern and policy as it relates to Covid-19. The technician arrived and customer service addressed my concerns. The technician diagnosed the water leak problem from my toilet very fast. It seems the connection had loosened over time. He simply tightened the bolt and the leaking stopped. No problems since.

I’ve recently had an issue with my warter Heater and my warranty company would not cover it. The office manager , Dora called me and offered to do the job through them, Kintex! She quoted me an amazing price she had an awesome attitude very professional and very patient very knowledgeable about every. They put me on the schedule immediately and install the water heater less than three hours. My family and I are very thankful being that it is a few days till Christmas and they got the job done. Highly recommend !

Kintex has been to my home several times now and I recently started to have issues with my water heater. I always have a really busy schedule but the girls at the office did their best to accomadate my needs. When the tech Kyle came to my home he answered all of my questions and offered me a great deal to get my water heater replaced. He was very professional, fast paced but over all the work was done correctly I haven’t had any issues thus far.

Kintex charge my credit card 85.00 sent out a contractor who DID NOT do what the job requires and that was to locate the leak and repair it, he DID NOT do it, all he did was went into my restroom put his ear on the wall and said you have a leak within your walls something I told him when he came, he than told me that I HAVE to get someone else out to do that. So KINTEX I wouldn't recommend them to NO ONE not how they BETRAYED THEMSELVESSMDH.....

I have a home warranty policy and Kintex Plumbing was referred by them. I've had problems with my home warranty before for not covering items, but because previous companies would find some excuse for not wanting to work on the item. The plumber who came to my home from Kintex, Kyle, was honest, detailed, and super efficient. From what I understand the company that came before them just didn't want to do the job, but thankfully Kintex Plumbing was there to help! After a week of struggling with no hot water...I have hot water!

Kintex Plumbing was dispatched to my home by my home warranty company. I had a clogged drain pipe from the AC so the home warranty company initially assigned the claim an AC company. When the AC technician came out and evaluated the issue he concluded that it was not an AC problem but a plumbing one since it had to do with a drain pipe. So I called the home warranty back and they rerouted the claim to Kintex Plumbing. The technician was very professional, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. He took the time and attention to assess the problem in its entirety. He explained to me thoroughly what the root cause of that type of issues normally was. Even after the pipe was unclogged and the water was running through the way it was supposed to, he waited to ensure that the problem was resolved completely. I will definitely recommend Kintex Plumbing for any kind of plumbing and especially drain issues. Thank you!!!

I have 4 kids in the home and no surprise i have a clogged toilet. I had to go through my home warranty and they sent kintex plumbing to my home. I had Dennis out and he had to run the camera but we found the problem and they were able to get it cleared. Dennis was able to get it done and seemed very knowledgeable. I was very happy to have the bathroom back especially with kids.

Extremely dissatisfied. I called my home warranty and they scheduled kintex come out to fix a shower valve that broke all of a sudden when starting. (The metal spoke connecting the handle to the internal plumbing broke) They came out and evaluated, and I'm just finding out today several days later after no follow up that they stated it wasn't normal wear and tear so my claim was denied by my warranty company. (keep in mind that I had already called plumbers in the area before I called my home warranty service to see if it would cost less through an individual than my deductible ) the plumber prior said yes that's a common issue with those shower faucets that come standard with these homes and he's replaced several throughout the yrs in the area but that it would cost more for him to do than my deductible. So question is how much actual knowledge of these types of common situations that sound like they should be well known in a company that specializes in plumbing are being miss labeled, or could it also be that the pay thats compensated for the work by the warranty company wasn't what they found fair and would of rather denied the claim? (He stated he might also need to cut out the back wall to get to the parts inside, and could end up as a lengthy process so before working on it he wants to make sure he has all the tools he needs) why give all the details and information on the next steps while you were in my home if you infact knew you were going to say it was miss use and the claim would then be denied?**UPDATE** 3/25/20My warranty company offered an option to do a second opinion with another company and they sent out 'Lindsay Company' this time around. The gentleman here came in, checked out the Valve and said almost exactly what I was told by the plumber prior to Kintex coming out. He said he sees this happen alot with this Moen brand valve, overtime they get kind of tough to turn and eventually break and he's replaced several. He's working on replacing the valve as I type this out. Kintex I would hope that you would share this with your employees (especially the 2 that came out) to make sure it doesn't happen again. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!!!I was assigned this plumbing company by American Home Shield. They never showed up even though they stated via voicemail and email they are on their way within 25-30 min. No one showed up. They closed my claim through American Home Shield that job was complete! They falsified! I am reporting them and I want my money back!

This plumbing company people are very rude They overcharge for their services. They were sent to our house by the warranty company to do repair, person behaved rudely, claimed job done without doing any work, and asking $500 for a simple paint job. Never use them, it's better to learn from other's experience then fell the pain by yourself.On your response - I was continuously talking to my wife during that time. She/we never approved start working on the project. Your technician couldn't communicate/understand in English and went ahead with what he was instructed and you lied to warranty company that we approved the job. There was 3rd person trying to be a translator/manager over the phone but she was very rude and delayed. And $500 for just the paint job? I called two other contractors to get a quote, they were less than $400 to complete the patch and do the paint job on the patch and other water strained areas all together.

I would not recommend this company. They came to my house to take a look at my garbage disposal, I was advised they were getting a part from the office. I inquired an ETA as the services were already paid for. No ETA, no contact of when the job would be finished. I had to contact to get a resolution to find out the job was closed. Very unprofessional.

Very professional company. Re-piping my entire home and installing a tankless water heater was a huge project and throughout the plumbers were courteous, knowledgeable, and thoughtful about the work. All work was completed on time, the walls they cut open look exactly as they did before the work, and the city inspector was very complimentary about the quality of their work. Overall, I'm extremely happy with Kintex and its employees and would happily hire them again.

Received service from Kintex plumbing in April and do not recommend this company at all. The technician, Ike, spent the entire time he was here on a phone call plugged into his ear, had terrible customer service skills and was rude and condescending. Extremely poor service!

Not very impressed with the follow-up service. Just had a technician over to check the Kitchen Faucet leak. I was told that I need to get a new faucet. Called back to make another appointment to get the same technician back to replace faucet but they cant give an appointment until 12/06... I cant use my kitchen for a week!? Plus the phone service staff is not very helpful and understanding.

Worked with them through my home warranty. They told us they'd be back when they got the part to fix the problem & never returned or called back. Its been about a week now. There are plenty of other companies with more integrity. Lindsay Company was great btw.

Mario, the plumber with Kintex, did an excellent job in replacing my tankless water heater. Did the work fast and with excellent quality. I even liked the way he positioned the water header and routed the piping- it looks like a piece of art.

Very frustrating speaking with them. I asked for a simple request to email me the report and invoice when inspection was done. They went ahead and charged me the inspection fee 5 days ago and I have been calling everyday for them to email me the report along with invoice. Today I spoke with them she was very nice but when it came down to the report that was requested and already paid for they still have not sent stating that they already have sent. I have been checking me email every 30min waiting for the report. I cannot see how this company has over 4 stars in reviews....

Minted Plumbing came out to my home yesterday which was awesome in itself because I am unable yo take off through the week. The ladies that scheduled me were precise and efficient as they went out of their way to make sure that I would have my water heater serviced at a time that I could be available. The technician that came out was professional, peasant, and knowledgable. I had no idea there were so many components to an electric water heater! Overall a very satisfied customer! I have been trying to schedule with them for a Home Warranty repair.
I have been on hold over 20 minutes for 3 days in a row. The recording tell you your next in the que only to be put on hold when the young lady answers. If they are overloaded when making and appointment, how can they be effective with repairs
