The Empire NYC Plumbers experts arrived well before the 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. window. My old, leaky toilet was replaced with a brand new, watertight one. I like that they charge by the job rather than the hour, and that they explain everything thoroughly. Overall, I had a fantastic time working with them, and I will definitely use them again if I ever need any toilet repairs.

Wish I could give them 0 stars. Man who seemed to be “in charge” was verbally abusing his workers and even shoved the guy aggressively. Totally disgusting.

When they fix my water main They install the water meter backward. The DEP fine us over $2000 and require to replace water meter I have got the quote from other plumb for $2500 to replace water meter.

Michael was responsive, thorough, and knowledgable. He communicated clearly over the phone and via text message. His pricing was reasonable and he worked exactly as-promised to remove and cart our old water heaters and install new ones. He was a pleasure to work with.

Raymond, according to my experience, is a nightmare. Please verify his credentials before signing a contract. He is not licensed or insured. He did not show up on time and a few times came to work drunk (he later apologized saying he was going through serious personal problems). I was gullible and paid him over +50% of contract. Now I'm stuck with an unfinished bathroom. A few other contractors who have seen his unfinished work have pointed out serious flaws in his work, such as uneven floor, tiles on wall with no space for grouts. Regretfully, I will have to hire someone who will have to first uninstall all floor and wall tiles before starting it from the scratch. Nobody should have to go through what my family has. I hate accusing people on the basis of made up stories but I'm describing my authentic experience. Please use your good judgement before hiring him. Good luck!

This guy is wonderful! Edison had me send pics, got some info from me on phone and took care of my needs the same day I spoke to him. I still can't believe it all got done in one day. Another Plumber left me hanging over a month with this toilet replacement. His workers are great, friendly, and courteous. Jake did a wonderful job. So happy I found these guys. HIGHLY recommend them.

I’ve used Zara plumbing to perform all of the plumbing roughing and finish work on my projects (I’m a residential GC). I’ve worked with many plumbers in my time and Zara is truly top notch. They are punctual, they get back to you quickly (which is a rarity in the trades) and the work is done to perfection. The staff come in exactly on time, wearing Zara branded uniforms, they communicate clearly what they’re doing, work cleanly, and explain next steps. I wish all contractors worked like them. One of the best plumbing services I ever reached out too. Professional and respectful. David, the Master Plumber was able to discover the issue quickly and resolve problems that other plumbers had missed. Very detail oriented and gave a fair price for the work he did! Will definitely be calling back whenever an issue arises.
