Best Electricians in California

Michael is the best electrician. I have used him both in a condo and a single family home. He explains the issues and explains the possible solutions. Excellent work, shows up on time, and cleans up after himself. I always call Michael any time I have electrical needs. 5 Stars and highly recommended.

I recently got a bid for a project from a different electrical company that I was very unhappy with. Not only was the quote very high, but their suggested approach was extremely complex and would have involved tearing down walls and tearing my yard.

Then I remembered that I'd had a positive experience with Chasov Electric several years ago so I reached out. Michael came out to inspect our property and immediately proposed a much simpler and more cost effective solution. He took photos on his tablet and sent mockups of his proposed design in advance.

Harry and Alex completed the project and they were delightful to work with. They arrived on time, confirmed details and decisions with me throughout the day, and carefully inspected all their work prior to departing. I'm very happy with how the work turned out.

I can't speak highly enough about the professionalism and creativity of Chasov Electric. They are true engineers and electrical magicians. I would definitely recommend them, especially for any projects requiring creative or complex electrical solutions!

Byron Tay responded the same day, came on time, gave me a very reasonable price, and did the job fast and with great care and professionalism - even though our house is an older victorian and the wiring is very complicated. We were so impressed by him that we asked him do to a second job while he was here. We had gotten many quotes, mostly ridiculous prices and/or requirements by the electricians (many of them unlicensed, by the way; Byron Tay is licensed, insured and bonded). Byron was no-nonsense, and kept to his word. We will hire him for any electrical job going forward.

As a bldg manager of multiple units I’ve had my share of electrical issues n varied electricians I’ve worked with but the team at mega electric displayed professional and attention to details throughout the entire process on working with our units. Their knowledge n skills ensured that every issues I had was swiftly diagnosed n even shared to me simple hacks I could have done by myself. I am getting natural gas out of my 1920s home, and Eric from All-Electric California helped me game out what I needed to do with my electric panels to 1) get up to code and modern safety standards, and 2) prepare for my next few steps of installing heat pump HVAC, heat pump hot water, EV charger, and electric fireplace insert. My panel and sub panel were mysterious, often labeled incorrectly, and even had arcing happening in a troubled switch. Eric helped me fit all my needs into my 100 amp panel without upgrading my service from the street. It was great to find a knowledgeable contractor who understood my vision and helped me make it happen!

I have never used Woo Electric Co as electricians (I never had the need); however, they also manage/own a few rental properties. As my landlord, this family run business is great. It is an unusual and very telling perspective being a tenant. Just knowing the family over the last 4 years, I trust them. Tim is the front-man handling the day-to-day contact with his brother Aaron behind the scenes backing Tim up. Occasionally you get to meet the old man, Chester (very personable). If I had a need for an electrician, I would call these guys first…

Art was able to be at my house within 20 mins of my call. He checked out the problem (some outlets that were not working or resetting), ran to the store for supplies, was back and changed them quickly. He was courteous, efficient, and did the job well.

They showed up on time, and were friendly, efficient & helpful. Stefan did a great job. Very pleased.

I am SOOOOOO glad I called Bay Electric regarding an inspection of my condo building's electrical system that our new insurance company was requiring. Kevin was traveling, but still got back to me ASAP -- he was super responsive, easy to deal with, and a straight shooter. Another electrician had said it would cost at least $1500 to do the electrical inspection and report. But Kevin did it in an hour and charged me his very fair and reasonable hourly rate. If I ever have electrical issues/needs again, I'll definitely be using Kevin again.

After visiting our house they lied about the difficulty of the job to get us to agree to a quote that was three times longer than the job actually required. Work was sloppy with no attempt whatsoever at cleaning up after themselves and a crooked outlet. They charged us for over an hour of driving to get materials that I could have gathered in 20 minutes on foot -- we live right by two hardware stores. WORST contractor experience I have ever had.

I believe many of their positive reviews must be bought / bots, they are simply too terrible to be believed.
