Eric came out and did a nice job repairing a leak that sprung on the supply line to our water heater. He explained what was going on and showed me what he had to repair, and gave a few suggestions for future repairs we should keep in mind. Overall he was easy to work with and did a great job. I will definitely be calling them in the future. Pricing was also very good.

The first time Eric came to my house, he showed me how to avoid an $1800 expense by fixing something myself--and didn't even charge for the visit! The next time I wasn't quite as lucky, but he still made every effort to save me money. I'm very impressed!

I was initially skeptical of finding a plumber online, but Eric was fantastic. I called him and he said to send him a pic of faucet that was leaking and immediately provided me with an estimate for the job. He texted 30 min prior to coming and provided an explanation of the job that he was going to complete. What initially was a simple job turned out to be a job that took the whole day. He stuck to it, got the job done, and completed it at the estimate he quoted.

In addition, we had another leak downstairs and he was able to fix that as well as part of the package. We had to cover the parts costs but it was very nice that he stuck around for another hour to help us fix that as well.

Sami's Plumbing did a fantastic job of fixing our kitchen sink which was clogged and not draining. Not only did he get the sink draining perfectly, but he also repaired two separate leaks under the sink that (since we just moved into the house a couple of days ago) we didn't even know existed! 😀. We bought a couple of inexpensive parts he mentioned needing to do the fix and he provided the labor to fix the leaks for free! I highly recommend!!

We had a great experience with Sami's plumbing. Eric was courteous, timely, and efficient. He quoted me a price up front and asked if I'd like him to do the work or if I'd like to shop around. Since we'd had another company do a similar job (replacing a leaking gas regulator) last year for about the price he quoted, his price seemed quite fair. He ended up giving me an extra year of warranty at no additional cost. He also was thorough, making sure that all of our gas appliances were working after he had fixed the faulty part in our line. Eric Sami was amazing - he quickly identified that a water leak (creating significant damage to our ceiling) was not from a bathroom faucet / tub as another plumber told us in the past, but was instead due to a piercing of a copper line. He came out early on a Saturday morning within an hour of our call, replaced the copper line within another hour, and did it all for convenient pricing. Somehow he was so quiet through it all that our baby stayed asleep too. All around amazing experience. Thanks for all of your help Eric!

This is what a plumbing company should be!!! I called regarding a clogged toilet and described the problem. Sami's told me what the solution could be, offered to swing by and fix it but also suggested that I could try the solution myself first. I fixed the problem and greatly appreciate the honest advice given by Sam's. Will call them with any issue in the future.

Very honest!!! Eric did work for us in the past (fixed poor work of another plumber). When I called with a leaking kitchen sink, he helped me solve the problem over the phone. Easily could have charged me for an appointment - however, he opted to troubleshoot over the phone and solve the problem - no charge. The reviews are true - this plumber can be trusted!

Eric came out today to fix a slow drain. Was really easy to schedule and work with. Called back quickly when I initially called. Knew his stuff, and clearly explained what was causing the slow drain (corrosion on old galvanized pipes). Prices were good too, the initial drain clearing was about $100 less than a estimate from another plumber. Friendly and easy to work with. Will absolutely call him back again in the future.

Saturday, June 16, 2018: We had an emergency situation with a broken outdoor water fixture and company arriving in two hours. My husband started looking online and Eric ( from Sami's) answered the phone and was at our house in 45 minutes! He was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He took care of the leak and came back today for a permanent fix of a very tricky problem. He is very polite, easy to work with and very accommodating with his schedule. We will be using his services again in the near future. So great to find someone you know you can depend on! I highly recommend!

Eric is awesome. Responsive—wrote back quickly even on the weekend. He wants to help solve your problem in the way that works best for the customer, like making the simple repair instead of only suggesting the expensive replacement. But, even when the replacement is needed, his price is fair and his service is top notch. Northern Virginia needs more honest and effective service providers like Eric.

Pretty much everything you want in a plumber. Tired of all the ones you see every thirty minutes on TV, promising an experience that they never deliver? Give Eric a call. You'll get the same guy every time, so if he has to come back you won't have to explain to him all the stuff that the last three random guys did. You'll get honest quotes up front, with prices that don't seem to inflate as the clock runs. He won't pressure you, won't try to sell a bunch of other services you don't want, and is an all-around nice guy who does good work. Seriously, what else can you ask for? We had him come twice in the span of a week to install a water heater and fix a gas valve, and despite kind of hoping that we don't have to call him back anytime soon, if you know what I mean, we absolutely will when that time comes. Bottom line - need a plumber or gas fitter in the NoVA area? You'll hardly find a better option than Sami's.

Eric was great to work with and we can see why he has such great reviews; now ours included! We scheduled a time to have Eric come over, but reached out to him a couple of days prior to the appointment to see if we could come by that day as we happened to be home and he worked with us and did come over that day itself.

Once he arrived, we present him with three different problems. He diagnosed the problems quickly, was very precise, and came up with easy, but quality solutions.

He was polite, professional, and even gave us a free grout tube so that we wouldn't have to run to the store and figure out what we needed. Also, his prices are reasonable.

It is hard to find a good plumber so we're glad to have found Sami's Plumbing.

I had a backed up disposal, a leaky pipe and a backed up tub drain. After finding Eric's website and sending an email at 8pm, I was pleasantly surprised to get a response within an hour that same evening. I highly recommend Eric Sami as a plumber. Used him for the first time today to overhaul a toilet and it won't be the last. As homeowners for 20 years, we've seen the gamut of repairmen from poor through great and Eric rates among the best - he's competent, professional and personable. His prices are fair. He called me back to book the service visit when he said he would, he phoned 30 minutes before he arrived and he was here on time. He clearly explained everything he did, his work was very good and he cleaned up thoroughly. He gave me comprehensive well-explained quotes at my request for other work we've been meaning to have done (capping a gas line, installing a new water shut-off valve, pressure cap, and a new toilet) and we'll be sure to have him back to do that work as well. Thank goodness for Eric. Our water heater stopped working, but before he came out, he walked me through an attempt to re-light the pilot light on my own, which would avoid any charges. The light went on but wouldn't stay on, so he made room in his booked schedule to come out. He said he would be here by Noon, but he got here at 10:30. He was super friendly and very professional, and since he had figured out on the phone what part was broken, he came right in with a new one and installed it. The water heater is now working great! It was worth every penny. I will be calling him from now on if we have any issues. So glad I found him.

We had a toilet to install, a garbage disposal to replace and some under-sink plumbing to get up to code, and a flap on another toilet that needed a bit of work. Sami's Plumbing, LLC - Here is the plumber you have been looking for! I called for a quote for a corroding pipe on my hot water heater. Within minutes I was on the phone with Erik. He arrived within an hour, assessed what needed to be done and gave a quote that was reasonable. Two hours later he had purchased the parts required, installed the pipe and a new faucet, and tested that all the plumbing in the house worked! A+++ plumber and an excellent businessman. Eric is an excellent, no hassle plumber with a very friendly personality. I had a clogged kitchen drain that I couldn't reach with a 25 ft snake. When I first called, he wasn't going to be able to make it out until the following morning. He called me back a few hours later and said he could squeeze me in and could be there in 30 minutes. He quoted a price, and stuck to it. He didn't try to up-charge me for other services and gave me some good tips on how to keep the drains clean using an enzymatic cleaner. He also cautioned me about using some types of drain cleaners that might eat through my old ABS pipes. He even helped me pick out the best brand on Amazon. I will definitely use him again if the need arises.

What's not to like? He was quick, professional and got the job done. He even showed us how he was fixing the issue so we could do it ourselves. Afterwards he pointed out other potential problems so we could get ahead of it and not be forced to do expensive repairs later.

Excellent service as I had two drainage problems unclogged. Arrived on time and even called ahead to inform me they were on their way which I can always respect. Other things I noticed that I appreciated was he wore covers over his shoes when entering the house without needing to be asked to do so. Work was completed as described. Sami’s Plumbing provides excellent customer service and fair pricing. Eric, the owner, visited us twice recently; first for backed up sewage drain and then for a leak behind a wall. In the first instance, on a Saturday, after contacting Eric, he was out within an hour. We were so desperate to get the clogged drains fixed as soon as possible, especially that we were backed up in every possible drain and grayish nasty water was flooding our kitchen floor. Eric has extensive experience and knew immediately where the problem was – that is the main sewage line. Within couple hours he fixed the problem which was not easy. In order to access the main sewage pipe, he needed to work in a small carpeted area and had to remove the toilet. We were concerned of some damage to our freshly carpeted area but Eric is very professional and showed care for our home. He worked very efficiently, covered the area, wore protective booties and cleaned everything after himself, so we didn’t have any further problems. He also provided us with extensive information about how to prevent future issues, how to obtain insurance in avoiding major repair costs, and how to clean up the mess. He charged us market rate and not emergency fees. The second time, we had a leak in our downstairs bathroom behind a wall. We called Eric again and he came out promptly to check on the problem. Once the drywall was opened up, he realized that instead of a plumbing issue, we had an HVAC drainage problem. Still, he helped provide a temporary solution to give us enough time to get our HVAC person out. He didn’t charge anything for the quick fix. We so much appreciated his services and we would use without hesitation Sami’s Plumbing again. You really cannot go wrong by selecting Sami’s Plumbing and it would be a mistake not to use the company for your plumbing needs. Finding someone you can trust in this area is difficult. It’s nice to know that even if we go several years without any issues, if and when something happens, Sami’s will be there to help.

We had a great experience with Sami's Plumbing! We had a pipe leak which resulted in no hot water for the house. Eric Sami came over right away to help us with our pipe leak. He took his time and explained all of our maintenance issues thoroughly. No pushy upselling! We called a large plumbing competitor and they said the earliest they could come was in FOUR days. Now, we have our immediate issues taken care of and I would definitely call him again for any plumbing problems.

I was super impressed with the service Sami provided. I had a leaky faucet in my kitchen and my apartment building said they were shutting off the floors to do maintenance so I called Sami. He came to my apartment and wait for 3 HOURS for them to shut off the water and they NEVER did!
Sami immediately made himself available for a week later to conduct the repairs and charged me exactly what he told me he would the first time, even with the terrible three hour wait the week before. No hidden fees or extra costs. He fixed my faucet in 1.5 hours and installed shut off valves. He explained to me what all the valves were for so if I needed to turn them off or on in the future I knew exactly which one I needed to.

Fantastic service! Sami’s fixed my clogged drain line and I highly recommend them—I will use them again. Eric was at our house within 3 hours of my call, and even called when stuck in traffic on his way. He replaced a pressure-reducing-valve and removed/repaired a leaky shut off valve that was in a very hard-to-get-to spot he had to reach (and work in with a torch) through a very small hole in the ceiling. He clearly knows what he's doing and was both professional and friendly. We will definitely call him the next time we need plumbing services and will recommend him to our friends and neighbors.

Eric quickly identified the problem and made the necessary repairs, even dealing with rusty bolts and hard to find water cut off valves. Nice, professional, and efficient. I highly recommend.

SAMIs Plumbing did a wonderful job! He was on time, he had wonderful customer services, super knowledgeable - but the best part was he was able to clear a clog 28 feet out under our house! I can't say MAHALO enough!!! He was in and out and left no mess!!! All I will say is AWESOME! NO KA OI!
