Everyone from Handyman Connection, including Marie and Omar in the office and Adam and Barry our technicians, was so helpful and friendly in getting our projects completed! Adam and Barry did superb work, were personable, punctual, and really seemed to take pride in the quality of their work. We will be calling Handyman Connection again for future projects!

Bill and team were great to evaluate the scope of work and provided a very fair estimate to replace screens for our covered porch. Cory did a very nice job especially given that he had to work around some very cumbersome outdoor stairs. Appreciate their professionalism and would highly recommend.

I hired this company to install a basketball goal. I showed the owner and salesman where to place the goal. He was able to schedule the install for the next day which I greatly appreciated. The workers asked me for the concrete, and a bucket to perform the job. They also needed supervision since the goal was not placed in the proper place. The charge was $550 and i had to pay half upfront. I assumed the goal would be reinstalled but all the owner was willing to do was take off $100. He also made a negative comment when I mentioned the name of the tree company we were using which was obviously Hispanic owned. Seemed inappropriate and racist especially since the workers he sent appeared to be Hispanic. Unless he payed them extremely well, he still made quite the profit. Seems like he could have done better for a job done incorrectly even if only for a positive review.

Replaced a lock on my office door.

We had Handyman come to do some shutter painting. The gentleman showed up with nothing (we knew we had to provide the paint). He borrowed my husband's ladder, borrowed (and ruined) a paintbrush and supplies (without telling us, we found them in our garage after he had left) and dripped exterior paint all down the side of my siding and brick (and is now stained). The work is less than mediocre as my husband has to go back and complete the paint job. 10/10 WOULD NOT recommend.

We had a hole in the drywall of our ceiling due to an earlier plumbing repair. I called on Tuesday, they had Brett in my home the next day at 9:00 a.m. Brett returned at 9:00 a.m. as promised on Thursday after drywall mud had dried and finished by 11:00. He was pleasant and explained everything clearly. He was also very clean, covering the area and sweeping up when he finished. Overall, we were very happy with the repair. I will definitely be using Handyman Connection again.

We contracted to have a deck repaired. Walt was our handyman assigned. He was prompt, professional and thorough. He was able to fit us in to his schedule to meet our deadline. He estimated 3 days but due to impending weather he worked long hours on the first 2 days to complete ahead of the weather. We will be reaching out to Handyman Connection for future items, that is guaranteed.

We had to have a ceiling fan re-installed, a new attic pull down staircase also installed and caulking around bathtub removed and reapplied. Daniel came and was on time and did exactly what he was supposed to do. Very professional. Cleaned up after he was finished. I would recommend Handyman Connection and Daniel. First of all, finding a local handyman or contractor you can trust or show up for the job is almost impossible. Handyman Connection to the rescue! I was skeptical at first but they could not have been more professional. I was notified ahead of time of their arrival by phone and text. Adam was professional and very knowledgeable about the job. He had to cut through the wall to the outside to install a vent for our oven and microwave. The job did not take as long as anticipated in the estimate, therefore Handyman reduced the price of the job. I WIll be using Handyman Connection for all future projects. I FINALLY found quality work and expertise with very reasonable pricing. I also want to thank Marie for hergreat customer service and and Telia for her honesty and knowledge in giving us an estimate, great team, great service!!

I contacted Handyman Connection after a different repair man no showed on an appointment. I used Handyman Connection for a project in the past so I knew they would be a reliable company. They were very quick to get back with me and schedule an appointment for an estimate. Their craftsman, John Noe, came to give an estimate and was able to complete the work in the same day. John was on time, very polite, friendly, professional and a life saver in completing this repair to help get my home ready to sell. I would definitely use Handyman Connection in the future!

They remodeled my shower and did a pretty decent job with it, though my water isn't as hot as it was before. Here a few months later, I pull the drawers, located on the other side of my shower and noticed that they cut through that dry wall, so now I'm going to have to pay to get that replaced.... how annoying and costly!

I was in need of some fence and gate repair and reconstruction. Handyman Connection was quick to provided me with a great craftsman for the job. Armando Galtieri came by and gave me a very fair quote for the work and was able to reconstruct the gates far better than their original structure. I would highly recommend them and will continue to use them in the future.

Daniel came out to install a new light fixture in my dining room and he done a wonderful job, I love the new light that was installed and Daniel was on time, very professional, and worked very hard to make sure everything was done correctly. Handyman connection is a great service they do everything! I had them install not just replace but install a dishwasher for me they had to remove the cabinet and do the electric and water workings for the dishwasher it works perfectly now! I also had a problem with my bathtub as the caulking work on it wasn't done very well so I attempted to do it myself as a result there was water hitting my drywall. When I had them come out to do the drywall for me they fix the caulking for free! Once more, they also explained to me that if we ended up with more water damage for a different reason that they would give us a discount on our next drywall repair! It's a great service no matter how many times I use it.

I’ve used Handyman two or three times and I’ve always been happy with their work. The last job I had them do was repairing a door lock and fixing two sinks and they did it all in an hour. It’s great when an hourly service works quickly and doesn’t drag a job out. Very satisfied and will use them again.

Bill did a great job replacing our outside backdoor and frame. There were a few more problems with the original door frame than we'd anticipated, but he was able to address them and make all the improvements needed so that our new frame is in great shape. He finished in one day and was able to keep the final bill to pretty much exactly what was quoted.

Marie at the office was extremely helpful with helping me get the right info together and working with a busy schedule on my end.

I've hired them for multiple projects and they always do a great job, they repaired my screen door and my crawlspace door at my house.

We contacted Handyman Connection - Lexington East to do some kitchen and bath renovations and install new lighting throughout the house. There was a lot to be done and Walt and his team did an amazing job! Walt was wonderful to work with…kind, professional, knowledgeable and thorough! He took the time each morning to explain what they would be working on that day and then recap at the end of the day. They paid attention to the details and it made all the difference. I am a skeptic when it comes to “handymen”, but I’ll have to say I was very impressed with the service I got from this company. They communicate well via text and emails. I always knew the status of my project. The workmanship was excellent. Daniel is very good at what he does. He’s very professional yet friendly. And lastly, the cost was much less than I had anticipated. Bonus!! I will be calling them again for future projects I have in mind. Great job!!!

Hard to nail down estimate and work availability with others but Handyman Connection estimate to work completion was initiated in hours and done within days. I was in a time crunch due to relocating. Marie and Armando were great! They scheduled me quickly and even worked with me remotely when I could not be there. Awesome team to work with.

Had a simple call to fix a leaking pvc pipe on the back of a vanity. Was set up with a man named Wes (maybe Jess) who came for service call and said that he had fixed the sink/vanity and that it was an easy fix. Said the pvc pipe/ drain had to cure for a few days before use: Charged 150$. After a few days when i went to use the sink it now leaked in a different area than it had before. I called and was assured that the service was under warranty and set up date for return visit: scheduled another day off of work and 30 minutes before scheduled visit got a phone call from Wes/ Jess the plumber stating that it would not be under warranty and (without even looking at the sink again) would have to order parts. When asked why (if he knew it wasn't fixed) he didn't schedule a return visit to complete the job: he stated he wasn't sure if it would leak or not. So i'm out 150$, a vacation day, and still have a leaking sink. The conversation made me lose all trust in the plumber as well as the company in which i had a plethora of work for them to do.

Very will run, people are friendly. They show up when expected and clean up after finishing the job. I would recommend Handyman Connections to my friends

We have used Handyman Connection for repair work for holes in our ceiling due to plumbing issues, drywall repairs, painting of our two story stairwell and installation of new tile around our fireplace and installation of a new mantle. All work was done on schedule and we are pleased with the quality of the work.

The work requested was to repair a sagging private fence. It needed to be supported. The fence was repaired in a short time and I signed the ticket. Three weeks later, the fence began to sag between the two support posts that were installed. Tyler refused to correct the problem without additional payment even though they guarantee their work. He showed no concern for correcting the poor repair and said it was my fault for signing the work ticket. What a rip-off!
I requested to get the contact info for Tyler's manager and he gave me the general email address instead. Hope Chris gets a chance to read this.

He offered great pricing and was very communicative on how we wanted it designed. Handyman Connection was very professional (Sent us alerts when their team was on the way and they were never late) and we loved that they don't sub-contract out the work. Overall I will totally use them again and recommend that you should as well!

had a scheduled estimate, which changed to ill need to call the office and set up another time. Once estimate was given, I asked for one change and lets proceed. No response. I call, takes 2 weeks after I prompt them to receive 2nd estimate. I agree, again no reply. Call again, so we need to send you a payment link?. Yes. Link finally comes, is cancelled immediately, and they say we dont have the resources to help you. This company took a month a half to tell me they dont have the resources for a couple of small drywall patches

Armando is excellent. His work is great. He installed backer board in my bathroom and it looks great. He also repaired part of my subfloor in my kitchen. He had to take out the floor that someone else did and fix it. Wish I had called him first. He wore his mask and was very professional. Cleaned up his work after he was finished.

They were okay. As I prepare to paint I am finding places that were not repaired. Most of the large spots are just fine.. several cracks were missed.. I do think that they are too expensive and I don't plan on using them again. However communication was good with Marie and Tyler.

I contacted Handyman Connection to address a small repair to a kitchen cabinet. I was provided a fair estimate. Armando arrived a couple of days later and completed the repair in a professional manner. The results were better than I expected.

My property got damaged due to the fire from my neighbor. They gave me the list of materials including two windows for upstairs and bathroom. I just tried to order windows with their measurement from company which they recommended. I had to wait for 3 months for these windows and I was frustrated when I got them. The sizes were wrong. Where is my 3months.........? They are saying they told me that the window company has to confirm the window size but I can not remember whether I heard that. I was not familiar with this kind of work and materials. No mention about confirm window size in the email conversation. Most important thing is that the window company which they gave me information does not provide size confirm service. They did not reply my compensation offer yet. How can I give them a good review and stars? In addition, they did not fix detached house wrap what they worked on due to the commercial property policy..... Hmm..... that was very simple work. So I would like to give them negative star if I can do it.

i am so pleased to have engaed Handyman Connection of Lexington and Nicholasville. Daniel came yesterday to inspect two of my malfunctioning electric fixtures. He did an excellent job - it's easy to tell that he is very knowledgeable and went out of his way to answer my questions completely. This wasn't really any suprise because the first person I talked to at Handman connections was Jolene the office manager. No body could have been more helpful or pleasant. I woule recommend this firm for any similar projcts.

We had been looking for repair work for the exterior door of our business and stumbled upon Handyman Connection. Gerald came to inspect the problem and got us a quote. He was very nice and professional. The installment work was perfect! William went above and beyond to make sure the work was done correctly. It turned out 10 times better than the old installation. Price was more than reasonable. Definitely recommend!

Trex Deck install. Owner came out to measure and put it in writing what materials and how much for me to order. It was a special order so had to wait for it. When it arrived he had not estimated correctly so had to go and order more which delayed the project by several weeks. Once the installer, Brad, came out to start the project he wasn't going to set posts in concrete. He finally agreed to do it. His mitering and cuts of the materials were horrible on several corners. I could live with 2 of them but one had to be completely redone it was so bad. He set one of the posts in the wrong place to go down steps into the yard and it is right in the middle of the spare bedroom window. These steps were an extra charge of $500 because Chris, the owner, forgot to put them in the drawing of the deck and I didn't catch it. So when I told Brad I was supposed to have steps they told me I would have to pay extra for them since it was a different work order. And if I wanted a hand rail I would have to pay an extra $150 for it even though the post was placed in the wrong position! Then Brad was gone and Daniel came out to finish the project. He over cut one of the boards and now there is a hole in the board. When I complained about it he tried to fix it best that he could, but a hole is still there. I asked him if he could redo that one piece and he said I didn't have enough material left . I stupidly paid them because this project had been going on since April and the deck is only 10 by 16 feet. I called the next day to see if Chris or his other assistant would come out to see all the flaws but was told by Kate, the office worker, that she didn't know if they would or not. They certainly didn't hesitate to come out when I called for an estimate. They might be OK if you need a picture hung or a light bulb changed but I would think long and hard before making that phone call to them. And just because they tell you they can install something doesn't mean it's going to be quality work.

I had Bill for service and he was excellent. Showed up exactly at the time I was told he would be there and was extremely professional yet personable! I highly recommend Handyman Connection Lexington for any handyman work you may need. I needed stringer boards installed so I could mount a squat rack in my garage. I was initially told they would provide a written estimate and then schedule the work at a later time. Because it was a relatively small job, Bill offered to complete it the same day which was amazing! Again, highly recommend and if you need carpentry work, Bill is your guy!

It was not given to me in writing because he didn't have any forms with him. He scheduled to do the work on January 16. This appointment had to be cancelled because the worker had a family emergency. It was rescheduled for January 21. This appointment was cancelled for the same reason. It was rescheduled for January 22. No one ever showed up. When I called to check why not, I could not get through to talk to anyone. Someone called on January 23 and apologized saying It looks like we dropped the ball on this one and asked if I wanted to reschedule. I accepted their apology and told them I would not need them because I already found someone else to do the work. How can anyone operate in this manner and expect to stay in business?

Daniel did incredible work installing lighting around the house, as well as fix a ceiling fan that I thought had no hope. He was easy and fun to work with!

Called for a simple dry wall job (only needed tapped and mud) for small area, after showing up late for the estimate we was told they would get back to us in 24hrs with a quote, after 9 days we reached out today to see why we didn’t have the quote and a lady named Marie said we would need to text pictures of the project and they could give us a quote over the phone???? What happened to the guy who came out and his quote???? Then Marie calls back and was rude and very condescending for no reason, stating it’s going to be $600/day and it could take several days “did we understand”
I’m assuming they are busy like the rest of us but that’s no reason to be rude!

Daniel of Handyman Connection of Lexington has done extensive work at our new old home. We moved to Lex six months ago, and we have enlisted Daniel's help through Handyman Connection a number of times. He was assigned to us at his first visit; after that, we have requested him for all others. He has done quite a bit of work for us:
--replaced a fan (20 foot ceiling)
--installed one chandelier and replaced another (20 foot ceiling)
--fixed plugs
--fixed a water leak and replaced rotten studs and installed drywall
--hung bathroom lights
--hung three 150 pound mirrors seventeen feet up
--hung artwork
--installed two sconces on either side of the fireplace.
Daniel has done excellent work and is extremely conscientious. I would recommend Daniel and HC of Lex without reservation.

Made an appointment to meet with a contractor for a house remodel we were attempting to purchase on 08/12/22. A Gentlemen by the name of Daniel G. met myself, my wife and the realtor at the residence. We spent 2.5 hours going over the remodel project. Daniel was nice, professional and offered good ideas on certain aspects of the project. I requested that we have the quote the following day if possible as our purchase depended on this estimate. I received a phone call from Daniel 7 days later 08/19/22 explaining that his boss had to sign off on the estimate and as soon as he did he would let me know. It is now 08/31/22 and we unfortunately never heard anything else back from Handyman connection or Daniel.

Right from the start I knew the cost, showed up on time and worked until the job was done. Very professional and knew what manners were.

I highly recommend Handyman Connection. Adam was wonderful to work with and knows his craft! We’re already assembling new lists of things to do at the house and look forward to working with Adam again.

Brandon installed pulls/handles on my kitchen cabinets and also repaired some drywall. He was right on time, very friendly and did an excellent job! I would most definitely use his services again.

Their carpenter, Adam, replaced some rotted wood on our exterior door molding. He really did a wonderful job assessing what needed to be replaced and making the repair so it looked just like the original. He was on time, professional and the service was reasonably priced.

So the tech was nice but they charged my parent almost $500 to ad a plastic cover over 2 cables in 2 small bedrooms. No electrical done, no rerouting, no wire replacing. Just this track…. Took advantage of an elderly couple. Real nice guys….

I had a very good experience with Handyman Connection.  My project involved an extensive shed repair -- removing and hauling away approx. 24 feet of peeling, damaged T-11 siding along with attached guttering and 1X4X8' strips, replacing the siding with treated 3/4 plywood, then installing new strips and reattaching guttering.  The siding had to be cut to fit into a triangular roof and around a window.  I asked for waterproof caulking around all seams and drip edging to be installed, too.

I requested an estimate, got a reply that afternoon, a man was at my house within 24 hrs to look at and discuss the project, and i had a written estimate 24 hrs. after that.  The estimate was very reasonable and I accepted it.  Two skilled repairmen were at my house three days later, they worked on it for 2 solid days.  The repairmen were friendly and knew what they were doing.  They were on time, worked solid, and had everything cleaned up and looking great.   I also got notices on my cellphone telling me when they would be arriving and they were always on time.

I think that Handyman Connection is very good because you know what you're getting and their work is guaranteed.   I will call them for any future projects that I have.

Very happy with the work performed by craftsman Daniel Shea. Completed a drywall project on time as promised, together with other minor repairs. Would definitely call on Handyman Connection and Daniel Shea again.

Update (December 2020): I needed to have a drywall ceiling repaired (due to a water leak), and reached out to Handyman Connection again. The work performed by craftsman Daniel Shea was again truly outstanding. I will be sure to call on Handyman Connection for any future needed home repairs.

Exterior door repair. Prompt and professional

We had a project that required plumbing, carpentry and shower tile work. They handled all of this seamlessly within the timeframe given with the estimate. Every one of the employees I dealt with was courteous and professional. Most importantly, they did what they said they were going to do and arrived when they said they would. On top of all that they did a fine job on the project. We are very pleased with our new bathroom.

Set appointment for a quote to have a door installed. At the time scheduled, I was waiting on the technician to show up but they did not show. I called and the person answering the phone told me when the technician called her and said that someone gave him a Hazmat paper to fill out. I stopped her at that point. 1) I was waiting on the technician and he didn't arrive. 2) we do not have any hazmat forms onsite.
Then she said she could reschedule the appointment, so I asked for an appointment within the hour, considering the technician couldn't have gotten too far, but that was not an option.
I feel the company was either mislead by their employee, or the company knew the technician didn't show.
Not the type of integrity I prefer to do business with.

Handyman Connection Lexington/Nicholasville- Armando was the handyman that was sent. He was very professional, answered any questions I had, and completed the job on time. I would highly recommend him.

Based on the job requested, I could have been quoted during a phone call vs. having someone visit. Once the tech arrived he quoted me a flat rate that was for these type of jobs, which was outrageous. They want to get the tech out there and then bank on the customer not saying no. Be careful and do your homework.

Daniel installed a new ceiling fan. He removed the old one and moved the new one to a different location. This involved patching drywall and painting, along with electrical work. Daniel did a great job, including cleaning up afterwards.

James was the contractor that installed an exterior back door and 2 storm doors. He was professional and thorough. He was very knowledgeable about the job he performed and also personable. He cleaned up the mess and made sure I was satisfied with everything he had done before he left. I would definitely recommend James and this company.

It has been great working with this team of folks. The young ladies in the office (both Marie and Joline) are efficient and communicative, and the technicians are great at their job. I had the pleasure of working with Daniel on some carpentry and paint, enjoyed the man and his work.

Be sure when you get an estimate that EVERYTHING is written down on the invoice that is discussed prior to work being done. I mean every single thing. Not happy I was told one thing during the estimate and the exact opposite happened during completing payment. The work done was great, however I don’t like being lied to and egg on my face for having trust.

I hired Handyman Connections to replace a microwave hood with a range hood and its exhaust ducting.
