Taylor McCarty was the technician who serviced my furnace. He explained everything that he did and made recommendations that were helpful. I have used Fayette Heating and Air for over 10 years. They come when they say they are coming and I have no complaints. Taylor McCarty cleaned my air ducts and I am pleased with his professionalism.
Management failure. I made two separate appointments for duct cleaning. On both occasions they arrived without the equipment needed to clean the ducts. So I wasted two days off due to the incompetence of the manager that sent the crew to my house without the equipment needed to get the job done. To add insult to injury the manager couldn’t find the time to return my call. My advice is to go with any other company for your HVAC needs than this one

I was very pleased with you explaining everything to me and giving me different options. I explained to him that I have my 91 year old mother living with me and I needed the quickest fix for that day, my system is 11 years old and as soon as the warranty expired. I have paid out over $1400 for parts and repairs. Some of these problems had occurred during the time of the warranty. For instance, cleaning around the motor that had accumulating dirt ($321). Learned that the original installers failed to cut hole on wall for some type of piping or vent. My son, Daniel was here at the time when you arrived. He did some small fast fixes so I did not have to pay extra. I do like the fact that they come out fast to service my furnace. Jason I give you 6 stars for taking the extra time that I needed to process the malfunctionings of my furnace. I guess I need to purchase a new one and hope it is installed correctly and have warranties.

We have always been pleased with the service and professionalism of the techs they send to do the twice yearly check of our system. We have a geothermal system and they have techs trained especially for them. They always respond quickly when there is an issue, which is important.
Very professional and polite. Explained in detail what they were going to do for us. They were extremely knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions. They arrived exactly when they said they would be here. Highly recommend.

Technicians were professional and well-trained. But the pricing structure is absurd; a repair using a $100 part (Amazon price) and 15 minutes of labor to install cost about $1000 (before club membership, which gave a 20% discount). It seems that every motor replacement has a single fixed cost, penalizing simple repairs to subsidize difficult ones.
The two young men were very prompt, friendly, hard working, and completed the task quickly while doing a great job!
Jason was professional and personable. After diagnosing my HVAC problems, he clearly explained the solution. I’m very pleased with the service he provided.

After having a unit installed The next day, it began to leak condensation all over the ceiling of my attic. One guy came to a Repair it 4 hours later, it's leaking again to even worse. Not to mention that they never Put the stripping back on my attic Door Correctly.

Don't join the comfy club membership cause they totally ruined my life. Either company will return or receive my calls about damages they done about hitting my mailbox and sending plumbers out 3 times total and tried to say they need special equipment or tear up bathroom floor and sink to get to clogged pipe. I told 2 plumbers about our big door crawlspace access that leads to the already access panel and even showed a tech a picture of the crawlspace and setup. Bluefrog plumbers came over to do a free inspection and 1st thing asked about about a crawlspace and fixed the issue within 15 mins even fixed the damaged pipe that has ripped from other tech using a motorized snake until it broke. There was even carpet in the crawlspace that had absorbed water from damaged pipe. These guys even waited for me to get a couplin and cut off the damaged pipe from miastro plumber and installed it at no charge even gave us a 45 dollar discount. All this happened a week prior to my dad passing away. Miastro and fayette heating won't return my calls or able to receive my email. Went over a week not being able to use any sinks and worried about mold issues that could occur from the damaged pipe and pipes that are not visible. This has made a grieving family more worried and makes it look like we were being taken advantage of. But they said they would send $50 for the mailbox damage. Won't reply about the other damages and potentially more unseen damages and mold issues. It's been a horrible experience at the most traumatic event of the loss of a husband and father who would have fixed the problem easily. He will be terribly missed.

We had our bi-annual system inspection this morning. During the inspection, Brendon from Fayette Heating & Air was on time, professional, and polite. He pointed out a few opportunities for proactive HVAC enhancements that had previously been identified by other technicians. The quote for the work was reasonable so I decided to have the installation performed. When I asked about scheduling the install, I was pleasantly surprised to hear he could do the install that today. Just a few hours later and all work was complete. He showed me the install and walked through all the system changes. I couldn't have asked for better service. Thanks, Brendon! And thanks to Fayette Heating & Air for continually providing great service at a great price.
Fayette Heating & Air crew arrived on-time and immediately went to work changing out the HVAC system, working diligently until the job was competed. Stacey Smith and his assistant presented themselves in a professional manner, working in hard rain to complete the outside work. Very pleased with how our HVAC replacement was handled from the Comfort Advisor (Jeff Coats) recommendations, through to completion.

The return air vent was supposed to be made larger to accommodate the new installation- it was not done. The access to the overhead space was left open for the heat to escape making the unit work harder. No explanation given. Concerned now about the quality of the work.

AJ Lane with Fayette Heating & Air was very friendly, respectful and professional. He got right to the issue and had my system up and running in no time. I am so happy to be a Comfy Club member. When my heater went out, I called them. They said they could get someone to my house between 4:30-6pm. They called me at 3pm and said he was on his way! I love that they let me know ahead of time and they text with a picture of the technician. He didn't force me to do anything I didn't want to do. He took pictures of the problems he found and let me make my own decision. I also didn't realize that they offer a discount for veterans, thank you guys. I am very pleased with their service.
We paid a great deal of money for a new furnace and AC ...only to have several service calls on furnace...the board went out on the furnace that is 3 years old...we had to get another company to fix the problem...the Manager of Fayette Heating is extremely rude and offered no apology

Was at my daughter home and called them to in stall a thermostat. The come out install thermostat and charge her $346 for the in stall and another $99 for service call and we supplied the thermostat. They are way over priced . I think it is a little price to put it mildly to charge $445 to put in a thermostat. Buyers beware. I was just shocked at the price .

Today Justin and crew installed a new heating and air unit. They were very professional and did a wonderful job. It was done in a timely manner and left everything just like the found it. Was very pleased.
We purchased a house Fayette serviced for years. The previous owners were on the cozy comfy club. This means they go to the house change the AC filter. And these owners had yearly maintenance. Fast-forward to new owners, us. AC duct work completely disconnected/ ajar= attic flies, wasps, lady/stink bugs for the last 6 months coming out of vents. When I asked owner they said they didn't know why. I can tell you why. For a problem that was an issue for years, and this company in use for years on this house. It is the cause of a few reasons. 1. An accident by company employee or owner and the employees did not correct or notify owners as this disconnect of duct work was at the door opening to attic. 2. Employee didn't like owner damaged duct work on purpose, Fayette still didn't see for years for maintenance if they had other employees show up. The previous owners were old, and could not make it to attic to check for these things. Fast forward today. No more bugs because system is closed as we repaired it. Why am I leaving this review? I call them today to ask about question, and when I asked a question for shut off they say they need to schedule an apt. When I say I don't need a service call but a quick question...the woman hangs up on me. She had my number and name. No call back. To me this is a reflection on the employees professionalism, which also points back to the damage/bug situation going on from the previous owners that would have been easily resolved and discovered with Thier cozy comfy club joke.
We were warned not to use Fayette Heating and Air but I gave the company the benefit of the doubt. I understand that their service technicians are paid on commission. For a $50, non programmable thermostat, we were charged $400. On Next door Neighborhood there are stories after stories of people being gouged.

I didn’t even know you could have your duct work cleaned but I’m glad I found out.I e been using Fayette Heating & Air for almost 10 yrs with regular HVAC cleanings twice a year.Having the ducts cleaned today was well worth it, with 5 Siberian Huskies I should’ve done it sooner.The techs, Kory & Taylor were great, they did a great job & made sure I was satisfied when they were done. They even showed me pix of before & after.Fayette Heating & Air has always done a great job & every technician / service professional has always been terrific.
Did not tell me that the hose from my three units needed to be wrapped ! Would not listen when I told them I would call to set up an appointment! One guy kept texting and calling almost to point of harassment!! Send a letter to Brent Melrose and no respond from him !! I took out the Comfy and that was a waste of money for a year !!!
We had an issue with our unit at our rental property. We got a fast appointment and Glen showed up and found the problem within minutes. He provided a few options and quickly made the repair once we chose what to do. He was very friendly, courteous and extremely knowledgeable!!

Great experience using Fayette Heating and Air to perform a seasonal inspection on our heat pump systems. The tech, John Speed, was very friendly and professional in conducting the service. After more than $1500 in repairs in the last 45 days, they tell us now that the whole unit needs replacement and the price is $10,500. We get a quote for the same system for $5,100. They lower theirs to $6,500 (amazing how the price went down $4,000 in 1 hour!!!). We say no thank you but how about refunding some of the $1500 we spent because you misdiagnosed the problem? Oh No - we don't give refunds. Also they will not refund what we paid for their Care Club, since we won't be using them ever again. Expensive lesson learned but we will be sharing our experiences with everyone who will listen.

In addition to the 30 minute courtesy call, they sent an email with details about the tech, including a photo, which wasn’t a really great touch being a young woman that was home alone.James was great. They crew was very professional and friendly. They knew what they were doing. I was so appreciative that they arrived so quickly in response to my emergency. I gave 4 stars because I was hoping they would help more with cleaning up the mess. But overall I’m satisfied.
David replaced a blown low voltage fuse then was able to see that fuse blow, identifying a short in the system. Tearing apart the blower unit showed no visible shorts, checking thermostat connections showed no visible short, disconnected outdoor unit and tore it apart, still no visible shorts inside outdoor unit. Noticed insulation had chew marks, found short inside the wall where mice had attacked.
Rick was excellent, I have had issues in the past with newer technicians not knowing some things. I know they have to learn but I prefer the technicians with years of experience. Everyone is always professional at Fayette hearing.

Our HVAC installation experts from Fayette Heating and Air conducted themselves in a professional manner from arrival to completion of the job. Our job involved dismantling a 35 year old unit and retrofitting some existing pipes with the new and having to cap off an outdated vent system which was not up to current codes and reroute a new outside vent. They accepted the challenge with a good attitude and installed a new 96% energy efficient system. We live in a 100 yr. old home so we have become accustomed to being told that projects are going to take longer than if it were new construction.Matt Combs and his assistant technician arrived at 10:00 a.m. and were determined to complete the job in one day, which they were able to accomplish.They removed the extremely large older system and cleaned up the worksite so that there was no trace of them even having been here, except for the new unit remaining in its place!I originally had thought that I would try to find someone more local since we live in a small town near Lexington, however I kept coming back to the idea of SERVICE. What would happen if I went with a small company with only a few employees and I needed emergency service and so did multiple other households? i wouldn't want to be put on a waiting list and be uncomfortable until my unit was able to be serviced. With this in mind, I also decided to purchase the additional labor and service agreement so I can get reliable service immediately as needed.Also, I need to mention that I initially called to set up an appointment on a Saturday morning. I was scheduled an appointment on Monday morning with a Comfort Sales Associate (John Hutchinson), who came to our house and explained our multiple options in a very clear and thoroughly knowledgeable manner. He answered all my questions with ease and left our house with an appointment scheduled to get the job done.This was a project that I had been dreading for some time, so I can't say enough about how easy the entire process was from start to finish.Thank you so much for taking care of our climate conditioning needs. I would highly recommend your professional staff to others in need of a new HVAC system!!

Had a new system purchased and installed through them. It was defective on day 1. The technicians didn’t do their job properly testing and inspecting it. I had to report its malfunction personally like 15minutes after they left as I was bombarded with errors through the app. Its been over 2.5 weeks trying to get the part replacement installed. First I was given a wrong delivery date and told it was delivered last Monday. Then a week passes and they say it was not delivered. Then when it was finally delivered they kept telling me “someone from dispatch will reach out in a couple minutes” to get the installation scheduled, every time I called (like 5 times in past 3 days). I feel scammed. Especially when it cost $15,000. Absolutely maddening.

I own the Jimmy Johns in Lexington and we had a leak and the AC had gone out. Scott Bowman (your service guy) arrived much quicker than I expected. He fixed our issue and was out of there in 2 hours. We have used several companies in town and I will be switching all of my stores to Fayette Heating and Air!

Quick and efficient. Had some areas of damage to the stairwell trim and handrail, but I suppose that would be expected. Asked for the thermostat that was replaced with the new one, to be moved downstairs to replace the older one. Was just told how to do it myself.
Had a new AC Uit installed in December 2019. Nothing but problems since. On my 4th service call now. 1st...within a month afterwards, thermostat wasnt communicating with furnace because tech didnt properly install a wire. 2nd...system wasnt cooling due to a piece on the compressor fan going bad. 3rd and most recent...system not cooling 2 days ago, but started cooling again after I turned it off and it got up to 82 in my house!. Tech came to look at it yesterday and acknowledged a faulty surge or something on the furnace that is prevalant on hot days but not covered by warranty and costs $375...or you just reset the unit when it happens again. Uh...It's 68 this morning. Regardless,I shouldn't have to do that on a system period, ESPECIALLY one that's less than 2 years old! It's happended again!!!! Condensor fan not running!!! On my 4th call this morning AS SOON as they open!! I have definitely been sold a $7700 lemon.

The text messages and phone call 30 minutes prior. Jeff the technician was absolutely positively amazing. I expected this to be in and out in a few minutes rush job ...admittedly I was very skeptical. Jeff took his time even though it was cold and nasty and it was in a crawlspace. He also looked at my air conditioner which was an added bonus. He’s very kind hearted and explained my remedial questions with ease. He wore booties in my home which was very appreciated. He explained my options which are way out of my price range but he did try and sell product which is good for the company. I can’t say enough nice things about Jeff and I’m sure he would appreciate it if you told him so. He deserves a pat on the back and maybe a little more 😉

Unfortunately this business is extremely unprofessional. My furnace went out and I called this business. They came out promptly after-hours and immediately diagnosed the problem. The technician did not have the part, but set up an appointment to come the following afternoon to fix my unit. This is where everything de-railed. The office CALLED ME in to morning to see if I could move my appointment up, and I said I couldn’t. They said they would keep my original appointment instead. I went home after work to wait for the technician. After about an hour past the appointment time, I called the business to see if something had happened. They told me that they didn’t have the part to fix my unit and never had the part (although they had called me to come fix it a few hours earlier?) The part that frustrated me was that if I hadn’t called, THEY WOULD HAVE NO-CALL, NO-SHOWED. For a customer with NO HEAT, in the middle of the winter.I will say the issues was eventually resolved, but there was no apology or offer of compensation for my lost time. I can say my husband and I will never use this business again.Do yourself a favor and use literally any other company (after we thought the technician wasn’t coming we called around and found out the part we needed most other companies keep on the service truck). I am extremely disappointed the technician resorted to lying about being able to fix an issue to get our business.
Austin's service was very good. He answered my questions and explained things thoroughly. My only complaint - and it is NOT with Austin - is that the UV bulb in my air filter had to be replaced (at considerable cost) for the second time in 30 months! I hope that won't be typical!

Our air conditioner has been out for a while. We asked Fayette Heating and Air to give a second opinion on Friday and they responded that day. They determined the fault and had it fixed at the beginning of the next week. Very professional and prompt. They even texted a picture of the technician so we felt safe opening the door.

Could have spent thousands and thousands when a couple of hundred did the trick. On the same unit. The low price checkup is a scam to get in house and scare you into a new unit.Do not trust them!

Being a first time home owner you quickly learn about things the hard way. Jim was awesome when he came to inspect my 30 year old system. He treated me and my family with respect and explained what was going on the whole process. George came the next day to install a new system and he was the same. What was suppose to be a couple hour job ended up being almost a 12 hour job due to the previous unit being installed haphazardly putting our lives at risk. George made sure everything was Installed correctly even going as far to fix the mistakes that shouldnt have never been made in the first place. I will no doubt be using this company again along with all the other services they offer.

Very professional salesman, keyword.I called out this company mistaking it for the original installers of our HVAC unit, another local HVAC company, and immediately saw red flags when the repair technician spent ten minutes attempting to sell me on their monthly service plan before giving me the actual labor costs they would be billing for. The quote seemed extremely high to me for labor alone, as the part I needed was still under manufacturer warranty. The salesman insisted that I would be saving money by committing to a 12 month service plan on my unit. I realized my mistake and immediately contacted the original installers who offered to give a second opinion free of charge and were able to quote a labor costs less than 1/3rd of what Fayette Heating & Air had stated, over the phone, for the same repair, and they would be installing an OEM part not a Honeywell part which is what Fayette Heating & Air was offering.Would not recommend this company due to their predatory sales tactics and subpar replacement offerings.
Was not impressed with this place. I had this issue where I had a foul smell every time my ac ran, they said they could fix it for approximately $1700.00. I reluctantly paid it. They performed there fix. I had them come out a week later because I still had the same issue. They said I needed to leave the fan running for 1 week straight and there fix should work. Had them come out again for the 3rd time after leaving the fan running for 1 week straight because I still had the smell. This time they said I needed to spend another $3500 to fix the issue.

Matt Combs, Stacey Smith, and the FH&A team did a great job with our residential HVAC install of 2 systems on New Year's Eve Day. They were everything we wanted during this process- friendly, professional, efficient, and clean. They gave us updates throughout the process about what they were doing and how long it would take. One of the systems was in a difficult to reach attic space, and required them to break apart the old system and remove it in pieces before placing the new one. Purchased a house two years ago with a 26 year old outdoor AC unit. Decided to go ahead and replace it this year, so we began contacting companies for quotes.Between the 3 quotes we received, getting advice from my brother in law who works in HVAC in San Antonio, and speaking to a few friends about the prices they've seen/money they've spent, we decided to go with Fayette. Their price was fair and they were quoting an Amana unit, not a Trane, which is much easier to work on and non-OEM parts are cheaper and easier to find.They scheduled the install on a Friday for the following Monday. They showed up at the earlier end of the specified time range and finished up within 2 hours (I'm sure getting in and out of my crawlspace wasn't fun). The guys were friendly, the gentleman who gave me the quote and scheduled the install was very friendly. I have zero issues with the services I received and we are very pleased. Everything was done correctly the first time.We will most likely call and inquire about routine preventative maintenance in the fall.I will keep this review fluid, meaning I will update this review if any services I receive in the future aren't up to par.Optional read:Something I noticed when talking to folks about HVAC quotes: people compare quotes for completely different units and they often don't make sense.For example, someone told me not to call Fayette because they quoted them $8-10,000. Well, that was for a full system replacement- AC and furnace. I just needed the outdoor AC unit replaced and the quote was much lower, as it should've been.Additionally, I had a 2.0 ton unit and wanted a 2.5 ton unit installed to cover more sqft. One company quoted me a 2.0 and Fayette quoted a 2.5 at nearly the same price. A friend of mine was comparing, but by the sqft of his home he needed a 3.0 ton. Different tonnage, different prices. Not even to mention the possible efficiency ratings you can choose from (you're often just quoted the base SEER rating of 14, I went one rating higher).So, in conclusion, make sure you're comparing quotes correctly if you're someone that doesn't really know a lot about HVAC. Nathan and Logan spent 6 hours yesterday installing a hot water heater. We were in the middle of our first snow storm for 2017 but they came that afternoon and stayed until 9:00pm to get it done. They were both so very professional and personable we actually enjoyed spending the time with them. Nathan thoroughly explained why he thought a Flow-Tech would fix our Hard Water issues and we are so glad we made the purchase. We were so happy with their service we signed up for their Comfy Club and look forward to a long term relationship! Excellent Service!!

Everyone at H2O Maestro was courteous and professional, from the folks who answer the phone to Mike, Kennedy & William— the technicians who came to our home. Because we had been without hot water for almost a week, they made us a priority. First visit was yesterday afternoon at 4. Today at 1, a brand new water heater is up & running. Highly recommend!

Kennedy Pearl was very professional and courteous. He tried to light old water heater several times. Kennedy explained that it would most likely be more expensive to fix the water heater than to replace it. Most likely could not find the parts to repair.He then placed the order for new water heater and came back in a timely manner and installed it in the time estimated. Left the work area clean and made sure the unit was on, heating and ready for use. I would certainly recommend Maestro H2O and especially Kennedy Pearl.

The technician, James, did an outstanding job. He came out on Sunday and fixed my unit in under 2 hours. He provided an In-depth estimate before starting work and was a little cheaper than estimate when finished. He also provided me with an estimate for further work that would help my unit run more safe and efficiently.
They arrived on time and completed the work quickly.
Bryen was incredibly helpful on our latest visit. He really took the time to explain how things work, gave me some winter tips that I did not know previously. Great experience and his advice will be very helpful in the future. When we had our inspection last month, John and Chris were very courteous, friendly and professional. They worked quickly, respectfully and did great work. I work from home and they were very respectful. We’ve been comfy club members for several years, at our last home as well. The pricing structure is set up to where you almost have to be a comfy club member, but it’s worth it in the long run, because anything HVAC is expensive.

Fast and effective, but far too expensive. $343 to replace a $10 capacitor in a few minutes. I understand the value of diagnosis, knowledge and tools. I'll pay the $130 service call fee without complaint, but another $200 on top of that for 15 minutes of simple work is exorbitant. I'll do more research before calling next time.[Follow up] - They called me to follow up on this review. I appreciate that responsiveness. However, I'm dropping this review to one star, because their representative was only interested in listening to my concerns, then telling me that they wouldn't do anything about it. It escalated that we were nearly yelling, trying to talk over each other on the phone. They offered no adjustment and I finally hung up on it when he refused to let me talk or get off the phone gracefully.

I contacted FH&H2O today with a sump pump issue. The young lady who answered the phone was very helpful. I was given a time late in the day but mid afternoon I was contacted and informed that a technician was able to arrive earlier. Just had my semi-annual checkup of my HVAC unit. While talking with Jacob Williams we got on the topic of the condition of the interior of my vent system. He took photos which made it hard to deny something needed to be done. The solution was an air scrubber and a thorough cleaning of the vents. I called and spoke with Kim. Told her repeatedly that I had an issue with my air conditioning unit which is outside. She was very nice. She informed me that it would be $89 for the technician to assess the unit to see what the problem was, then he would price out the work and about 90% of the issue could be fixed with what was on the truck. We discussed an appointment she said that we don't schedule anything after the slot of 2-4. I told her I work to 430-530 every evening. She then suggested a Saturday. I said perfect. Even though it says 24/7/365 and there are spots for 4-6 and 6-8 listed on the website. The technician came very polite young man. Stepped 3 feet into the house and said unfortunately I can't do anything with AC because of the temperature, to get correct pressure etc.. We had a short conversation I asked questions he answered. We talked I would say 10-15 minutes. Then he said OK that's $89. In my head I was like for what you didn't do anything but answer a few questions. I paid. My problem is why wasn't I informed of the issue of not being able to work on the unit because of the temperature when I called and spoke with Kim? Now I'm out $89 for a conversation that I could have had with anyone.

We have always been very happy with Fayette Heating & Air. They installed both of our units when we had our home built in 2001 and have been with them since. We're very pleased with our current technician, Dakota Tedder. He's very professional, knowledgable, and nice.
Technician was thorough, explained what was needed, and completed the work the same day. Pleasant young man.
Called to have someone evaluate my fuel- oil furnace- made sure the representative knew these were rarer furnaces that might require a special technician . The next day a tech shows who has no idea how to handle a fuel oil furnace. A new appointment is set for the following day with an arrival time between 2-4p. At 415, I called and was told the furnace tech was on his way. At 515, I called again and spoke to a representative who said she would notify the team. I asked if there was any way they could communicate with me , so that I would not have to wait another hour on this Friday of Memorial Day Weekend - I’m told they will be in touch. At 540 pm- no call. No show.Do yourself a favor and find a company that has their processes and communication down. This was a waste of time for me because I was on a deadline for a home inspection for the sale of my home. Very frustrating and unprofessional. Buyer beware!

Big advertising budget. Very poor execution and delivery. Meeting time was set at the building location. I called to confirm the morning of. No show by technician. I called the office 3x over the course of the hour and was told either that he was there or on his way. After waiting 1.5 hours at the location I called again and was told that the technician was actually in another city on another job and that had been the case all morning while I waited for them at the building. Simple communication with the customer would have easily avoided this.

The service I received on my AC unit is good. I have no complaints about that. But the high pressure sales tactics were over the top. Clearly the repairman that came out was well trained on how to sell a new system to the customer. We told the repairman that we were not going to buy a new system at this point, but he kept pushing. We let him provide us with the options out of politeness, but I do not appreciate the high pressure sales tactics. And he was pushing a mid-level brand on us and telling us that the well known brands were not as good. There must have been a bonus involved for the repairman.When we do replace the system, we will not be going with Fayette Heating & Air for this exact reason. And it is not just this one repairman, we own rental properties and we get the same thing at those from Fayette Heating & Air.
Another $385 spent on the worlds most unreliable HVAC system installed by Fayette Heating and air. This system was installed new during home renovation in 2018 and has required 6 service calls including todays replacement of a capacitor. Duct work falling off, return air vents not installed, fan speed regulator replaced. its a never ending maintenance nightmare. I could never recommend Fayette Heating and air to a friend or family member.

Cade Lisle explained everything to me and told me what should be fixed. My unit is only 3 years old. I've had several issues with it. Never cared for a single technician that came to fix my unit except for Cade Lisle. Fayette heat and cooling needs to hire more like him. Thank you Cade for putting my mind at ease and fixing the problem.
Nate showed up on time - early in the appointment window. He discussed the various issues with me clearly and concisely and did not try to push products or services I did not need. Have been a loyal FH&A customer for years.
Worst service I have had. Didn't even look at my unit and immediately tried selling me a $800 motor or a new unit and the didn't recommend the motor. I had to tell the tech to go look at my unit to see what was wrong. He came back in 5 or 10 min and said bad motor. You want the $794 motor or should I have them come give you an estimate for a new unit. And don't believe the 100% customer satisfaction they advertise. I was offered a $120 maint agreement for 2 visits but not my $89 back. Why would I want someone I can't trust to come back?

Fayette Heating and Air installed a new a/c unit in our home. The technicians were on time and finished the installation within the timeframe provided on the estimate.The problems we discovered after the installation were:The compartment that holds the air filter in place was torn away from the fan area allowing air to flow out of the ductwork.There were a few torn or loose seams in the ductwork.A considerable amount of fiberglass shard was throughout our garage. These (I assume) came from cutting the insullated ductwork panels surrounding the a/c comparment. The fiberglass panels should have been cut and trimmed outside of our garage.A broken metal bracket and several screws were found on the floor between the unit and the wall.We made the repairs ourselves rather than calling back Fayette Heating and Air. It took us about 1 hour to secure the the filter compartment back to the unit, tape the torn and loose seams and cleanup the fiberglass shard and other items left behind. .Overall, we were satisfied but were disappointed in the details that should have been found and corrected prior to departing from our home.

I will try to be brief....we bought a new Lennox system (heat pump) in July 2019, 3 months after install it stopped working. Over 14 service calls later the unit was finally fixed in July 2021 after the techs had to consult with someone from Lennox. So now it is May 2022...about 9 months later and unit stopped working again, almost made it an entire year! We are Comfy Club members, so I called and lady said she will have tech out, tech calls and I explain problem to him, he says will be there within hour, so far so good. Tech arrives and starts off by saying that if it is drain clog, we will have to pay him. I said we are Comfy Club members and he said doesn't matter. I then explain the unit has not worked than 3 months in a row, he corrected me saying they were last here in July 21 for a service call. He went under house and pulled little drain cut off switch out and dumped water out, my Air handler is in a tall crawl space under the house. He said the drain line was clogged and opened the trap access cap and said there was water in it. Well since it was a drain trap of course there was water in it. Also every part he mentioned was installed by Fayette during original install. I mentioned that they were just here in December for our Comfy Club service and he asked if they cleaned the pan or treated it, told him don't think they did, just whatever came with service, he said that it cost extra. So apparently not..He then said he would have to charge me and I told him to bill me...he said he is supposed to wait until he gets paid. Told him he would be waiting awhile, because I was not paying him tonight. Especially since we are Comfy Club members and no one at anytime said that we would need to pay them for a service call, had I known that I would never have called this evening and waited till normal business hours. He then said that our unit is out of warranty and the Comfy Club only covers stuff inside the Air Handler...umm is the drain pan not inside the air handler? Like I said before this is first time it has worked 9 months in a row and I also think we have extended warranty, not sure without checking paperwork. I was adamant I was not paying him tonight, if they send me a bill fine. He left, he was at my house no more than 10 minutes. After he left I started thinking...my Air handler is in a tall crawl space and circulation vents are open, so it gets humid. When we were down there this evening I had a can of soda, which had condensation on it immediately. So an air handler blowing cool air would generate a lot of condensation, which would cause the switch to activate. Seems a bit odd that when he first got out of truck he seemed to know immediately what was wrong and claimed the drain was clogged. After he left I ran my Air hose into the drain line....it was not clogged!! So the issue is probably in the drain pan or possibly a bad condensation switch (overly sensitive) which according to the tech should be covered by our Comfy Club and or warranty, because it is inside the air handler. I would not recommend doing any business with this company and/or getting a Lennox...almost 3 years later and still calling about a new unit...cannot remember brand of old unit but only made 2 calls in 14 years and last call was when it was done. Comfy Club, if what tech said was true, is a waste of money don't bother with that either. Really not sure what they did in December except change an air filter.

Jacob performed my spring maintenance on my HVAC system. All was good. Jacob was honestly one of the most pleasant service persons I’ve met. He was very polite, very nice, and took the necessary time to perform the maintenance check.
Technicians are professional. But today I was told that everything was taken care of at no cost due to my unit and ALL COMPONENTS WITHIN ( make sure you read that service management) were under warranty and there was no charge. I get a call later today saying I'm being charged close to $400. I was hit with a service fee which I have never had before. They said the part was under warranty, but I I didn't pay for labor warranty. This is absolute bulls***. On my receipt it shows I paid for the part. They said nobody changes warranty parts out for free. Sorry but that's a lie. Unless they start working with someone who's been a customer for almost 5 years, I'll ve going elsewhere.

Used online form to request estimate to replace my ac and furnace. Contacted by company rep that scheduled appointment on 7/8 at 1:30 pm. No one arrived at appointed time. Contacted the company and Carlos told me there was no appointment scheduled but could see that company was responsible for the mistake. Offered to reschedule but I declined. Not a positive first impression of Fayette Heating & Air. I will move on to other companies who respect my time.

Called to have my furnace looked at on a Friday appointment was set for around 1 to 3pm didn't show up till almost 5pm was told it was a controle boad that was bad. And told it was going to cost 600 bucks to fix if i joined their membership, it was gonna be 1200 if i didnt and my systemis under full parts warranty, Was told it'd be ordered that Monday. Called Monday to make sure it had been ordered, was told it'd be 3 to 5 days befor the part would be in, Called Thursday to see if they received it, couldn't get anyone to give and update was told that dispatch would call back shortly with an update, no body Called this game of phone tag has gone on for 2 weeks now and still no heat. Called another company to come out and was quoted half the price to fix and can get the part next day, very poor customer service from fayette heating and air do not recommend
Phil and his apprentice did an amazing job helping us complete all the electric in our finished basement. They ran the lines and then returned to put in lights and power sources. The talent and knowledge Phil has is second to none. I really felt like he listened to what we wanted and came up with a plan to achieve it. Thank you!

During a routine checkup of our furnace, it was discovered that the heating element had a hole. This rendered the furnace to be a potential hazard and the entire unit would need to be replaced. After meeting with Kevin, a Comfort Advisor, we selected the best option for our needs. The shop had the parts in stock and scheduled the replacement very next day. Shelby and Cody arrived on time and set to work. In under six hours they had the new furnace as well as a new A/C unit outside set and functioning properly. Shelby took time to explain all the functions of the new thermostat (in addition to heating and cooling, it allows for remote access and schedules). The guys were very courteous, professional and efficient. They cleaned up after themselves so well that the only way to tell they'd been there was to see the new furnace in the basement. We are very pleased and highly recommend Fayette Heating & Air!

I would definitely consider trying another company, went with them on a new furnace and A/C unit and already have a problem after 2 years. I do understand that things go wrong but they are more interested in pushing their comfy club service then backing products they are selling which leads me to believe that they know that their product is garbage. I think $400 to replace a $30 capacitor in 30 minutes is a little outrageous and supposedly I wasn’t charged for the capacitor. I called a couple other companies and they would have charged half with the capacitor so take that into consideration when considering this company!

Knowledgeable technicians, A1 management and customer service representatives. Their pricing is also very fair, especially when compared to industry averages in their market. Their drug free - felony free advertising is also legitimate, yes I ran a background check on a technician just to see if they were really standing behind that promise. I know for a fact they terminated one of their top technicians who had fantastic technical skills and amazing customer service skills, due to an incident that Tech was involved in that resulted in him being charged. They have a zero tolerance for that kind of behavior, and everyone who has serviced my Equiptment there has been on time, clean cut, and obviously drug free because let's be honest....It's not hard to spot Frank the Crank head coming from a mile away. Have used them before for Mother’s condo and happy with service. So when har air conditioning started to fail, we called them to check it out. It was working at a minimal capacity, and really needed to be replaced. Mother had immediate health issues with surgery scheduled in a couple of days when heat wave was in place. I went to Fayette’s office to see what could be done, as I was concerned about mother being inconvenienced by lack of air conditioning during recovery at home. I talked with Jennifer V. At the office and explained our situation. She left for a few minutes to see what she could do, and came back to tell me that they would have three installers there the next morning and have the new system completely installed before mother came home from surgery. They did exactly what I was told, and everything was in order. It is rare these days to get a large company to respond with a personal, caring attitude. Extremely happy with this firm!

On 10/16/19 They came out and inspected my unit because it was not kicking on. They found it was 5lbs low on Freon and after inspecting said no need for a dye test. They charged me $250 plus recommended I sign up for comfy club for both units at $180!a year. Fast forward 83 days they come out and tell me that I am 3 to 4 pounds low again and want to charge me $90 for a service call plus $150 to $200 for charging unit again. Now of course this time they also want to run a dye test and find the leak which is completely understandable. But why should I pay for the service call and Freon from an incomplete or incompetent job 83 days ago.

I’ve had nothing but issues since I purchased a new HVAC beginning with a bad hard start relay on AC unit that had to be replaced 9 days after the new unit was installed.These are the problems that have occurred:*leak in the coil* unit has frozen up more than once* capacitor had to be replaced*wire having to be replaced inside the furnace* clogged drain*recently a new compressor installed (7/9/20)I’m a comfy club member so I get 2 checkups a year and rarely do I not have something that needs to be repaired when they come. The AC always manages to have issues during the hottest days in the summer. The unit is only 5 years old and only 1 year (2018) did I not have an issue. Having so many problems with this HVAC unit I think I should get a new unit at no cost. I have no problems with the personnel as they have been courteous and professional. My problem lies with the equipment.

The tech identified the problem within minutes and was very professional. He then made some calculations and we discussed the cost of repair vs replacement and upgrade. Ultimately we chose upgrade which turned out to be an excellent decision. The new system was much more efficient and really a perfect option. We didn't realiz le how inefficient our ten year old system really was! The installation crew was as professional as the original technician. They made everything easy to understand and even swept the basement floor after the installation! We've signed up for the comfy club because I want these guys in charge of both our heating units from here on out! Highly recommend this company.

Excellent customer service and professionalism. Just had a transformer replaced on a Sunday morning. Now feeling nice and cool on a hot July day.
I never write reviews, but I felt like this information should be shared. A month or so ago they came out to clean out our duct work. My husband asked when they were there if they wanted him to help move our bed since the duct was under the bed. They said no, they could get it done. A week ago, we discovered that our bed was broken when the left side of our bed collapsed at the headboard railing. This is a SOLID WOOD mahogany bed!! You can see scar marks where they tried to jam it back together. We didn't notice it right away but, there is no doubt that this was something they had done and tried to cover up. We sent pictures and called. We got a phone call today saying that it had been too long, and that the men said that WE had moved the bed for them!! This is an outright LIE!! We are now out over $2000 to replace our bed. Highly disappointed in the customer service regarding this issue.

They wanted to charge me $94 to come out and give quote to replace our unit. Not diagnose it but just give a quote for a new unit and others offer free quotes. Great way to be automatically disqualified for our business.
Nice work installing our generator but did not appreciate one of the workers driving a Fayette H&A truck, backing into and damaging our entrance gate upon leaving our home.
We had been hearing a loud noise from our AC unit. Called Sunday morning and got an appointment Monday morning. Rick came out and was very knowledgeable and identified the problem right away and had it fixed in about 15 minutes! Gave me some advice on what to do when it's time to replace. Great work and definitely will do business with them again!

Good company overall. Used them for years. Had one of their monthly plans where you pay a small fee to get priority services, which did come in handy a couple of times. I will, however, forewarn anyone, they will not refund you the last month of your monthly service fee even if it is just 2 days over and you no longer own the home.My card was charged on the 15th, I officially closed on the sale of my home on the 16th, called to cancel my service on the 17th, and was told by them on the 18th they would NOT be refunding my monthly service charge for that month; the coverage would run through the next month even though I no longer own the home. Adamantly refused is how I would best describe it. They did confirm I would not be charged again after this. Sure, they were very chatty and polite about it, likening the monthly service fee to a month-to-month gym membership, but under no terms would they refund it. I don't own the house anymore. I waited until after the official close to cancel my membership because had something with the furnace or water heater arisen I would have been responsible until the house changed hands, and I wanted to have use of the service I paid for in case I needed it. Thankfully, I did not.This aside they are still a good provider if you need to have your furnace serviced. I did not use them for my water heater replacement because they quoted me several hundred dollars more than what I ultimately paid to get a brand new one installed by another provider.I will certainly keep this in mind the next time I get an offer for any type of monthly membership from these types of services.Updated 07/22/2018For whatever reason they decided to issue a refund for the service even though I had given up my attempts to request one after I was told on the phone they absolutely would not. So, it was a nice surprise. But I suspect it was only after someone higher up noticed my review and had a change of heart or realized how irrational it was for me to have a service carry over for another month on a home I don't even own. Either way, I'm satisfied. In fairness, I will increase my score with another star.

James White repaired our HVAC today. The A/C was not working correctly. We are members of the Comfy Club (which we highly recommend). We called in at 3PM, James was at our house by 4:30P & our A/C was fixed by 5:45PM. James found the problem, fixed it & also found a problem with the water heater in our crawl space that we weren't aware of so we could call & have that repaired also! Very professional & friendly to boot! Highly recommend.

Our AC went out around 9:00 p.m. on a 88 degree Thursday. I decided at 3:00 a.m. that I needed to get in line and make appointment. Using Fayette Heating & Air, Comfy Club online scheduling and phone texting the repair appointment was set for Friday between 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Since we are Comfy Club membersCustomer and out of AC our service rep listed us as urgent. It was shortly after that that there was a appoint cancellation and we were moved up from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. We received courtesy text 30 min before Eli our technician arrived right on time, also received text confirmation with Eli technician photo. Eli checked the system, repaired and replaced the faulty capacitor and had us up and running in less than an hour. So quality service work by Eli, working for Quality company with great customer service. From the appointment made, arriving on time to problem diagnose and repair, couldn't be happier. We've been with Fayette Heating & Air and Comfy Club members for over 10 years and wouldn't have it any other way.

Where do I start? Was charged $500 for Freon that the EPA will be banning in 2020 was not told that was the case until the whole unit broke. Was told I needed to now replace the unit and that there was a 0% interest deal. Salesman comes by and all of a sudden it’s an 8% interest deal. OK it’s fine because it’s 40 degrees outside and I want a new HVAC. I tell him I want to put part on my credit card and finance the rest, he says I need to drive to the office (?) OK so I physically drive to the office to have them run my card and finance the rest. They install the HVAC swiftly with 2 guys, but with all of the sunflower seeds sprayed in my basement you would think it was the starting 9 of the Cincinnati Reds. Fast forward 5 months I start getting PAST DUE notices from them regarding my HVAC. I call them and say I paid for this months ago, they said I wasn’t and then blame it on a fired employee that my card wasn’t charged. So I then get on a payment plan with then a month later I get a nasty call from their billing department that I was delinquent again! But wait there is more! Before all of these billing issues I have a rental property that needed work done and so I call them to go fix it, I don’t get a bill for a few weeks after and it’s double what I was told it was going to be and the kicker is they have a FORGED signature on a work order and so they claim I owe it! I can’t make this stuff up! BUT WAIT THERE IS MORE! They won’t let me dispute the forged document until I’m current on the account that they forgot to charge my card for! STAY AWAY FROM THIS CLOWN SHOW!!!!!!!!

Their communication is excellent and their technicians are highly skilled and courteous. My technician today, James White, identified the issue quickly and got our air conditioner running again, a huge relief on this 94 degree day! He also took the time to get our thermostat operating off our wifi again. As a Realtor, I always recommend Fayette Heating and Air to my clients!
He an apprentice checked attic systems,changed filters. We then checked outside. A capactior was bad changed it and recheck for all other readings. I was explained before and after each procedure. I couldn't ask for 2 better workers. Excellent at their job
I have been using them since I moved back here in 2018. They installed a new unit in 2021. Have always been very satisfied. How ever a 1 hr call to unstop a drain line today, cost $542.00. I think this is way out of line, and I'm waiting for a explanation from them and a copy of the bill. This is highway robbery, and deserves a explanation..I'm very disappointed.
Update:as of 6:40 PM same day. A different tech Eli McDowell responded quickly and was able to fix the issue the, thank you very much for the very fast resolution! I had a comfy club visit today 08-25-23 and now my unit is not working at all. It tries to start up and it does not stay going. Now they say it will be between 8:00 and 10:00 before they return. My 80 year old mother lives with me and she has a hart condition.

Some of the techs are good. Their overall business practices are terrible. They don’t follow through with what they say they are going to do. I was charged $120 for a tech to put something like gaulk in a whole that was blowing out carbon monoxide after they said a piece was being ordered that I never received. I will not be using this company anymore. It took 5 times for them to fix my issue.

Tech Clay was more concerned with replacing the unit than fixing the current one. Claimed bad TXV from supplier but it was his error in getting Solder in the valve. After third visit had a senior Tech Adam who fixed the problem in an hour or two. 18 months left on the Warranty is not almost out of warranty in my book when inflation is 8.6%.

They came out and told me my compressor was out and the repairs would be around $4,000. I got a second opinion and was told the compressor was fine and I had my AC repaired for $300. I called and explained my frustration that I paid a service call fee for nothing. They said the only way to get my air working was to replace the compressor while the other place said it was fine and had my air working in 30mins. I requested my service fee back because I paid to have a proper diagnosis of my issue and I did not receive that. They said no so I asked to speak to someone else and I was told I would receive another call but no one ever called again.

When I called to ask for a manager, I was told he was eating dinner would return my call the next day. He did not. The work quality for the job was AWFUL and the tech clearly was inexperienced. But at the very least, I'd expect the manager to inquire about the issue. Nope! And of course, they were late, which greatly impacted my job. They don't seem to understand that customers have to make plans to adjust their schedules. They have cost me 4 hours of work this week over a simple repair.

Everything for our duct cleaning went well. They went out of their way to help with a minor issue that wasn’t about the cleaning. Only thing I didn’t like was the little pieces of fiberglass left around the floor. And there was a stain from something on my carpet I had to clean.
Very bad customer service. I called because my fan went out on my Ac unit . The guy comes out and gets the job done I went out the next day to check his work because it was 4 in the morning. He has wires around my fan cover wrapped in black tape I called to speak to a supervisor Alex. Omg he lied straight to my face saying that is standard.no it's not it's not safe for my kids and no wires should be sticking out of an Ac unit at all. He is very unprofessional. Why not just come out and fix it. Nooo he wants to sell me another motor to fix the wires from sticking. I'm very disappointed at the job that was performed at my house.Edit Matt thank you so much it looks so much better I'm very satisfied I will change the rating you listened to my concern and fixed the problem with no hesitation or argument. Having used Fayette Heating & Air for about 8 years now, I can wholeheartedly recommend them! They are expensive, yes, but I feel you get what you pay for. Eli especially has always been great doing my periodic system maintenances and checks (which the Comfy Club membership makes free 2x per year, per system, of which I have 2, so it tends to pay for itself.). I've never had a bad experience, and only once or twice had a mediocre one.
Installed new hvac system. Let me know when they were in their way, worked efficiently and quickly. Showed me how to work unit and cleaned up after themselves. Both workers were friendly and diligent in their behavior and work skills.
A couple of hours after Adam Austin repaired our upstairs a/c unit and left, our home was significantly cooler. He explained every step he took and included the cost of each. Very professional and knowledgeable.
Our technician Scout was very friendly and diligent towards tracing and affirming the issue within our electrical system in our house!
The HATRED I feel for this company is like none I've ever experienced for a business and I feel people need to know their marketing strategy; best described as shady and low.I was attempting to install a NEST thermostat in my home that normally is a DIY project, my system turned out to be more complicated and NEST said I needed someone to install. I called and they would not give me a price quote over the phone and needed to come out to survey the situation. Long story short they want to charge me $450 for the install OR I could sign up for their yearly club membership for a lower cost, but then pay the monthly cost for the membership that would end up totaling the same absurd amount. I gave in because I didnt want to ruin my system attempting the install myself. The hilarious part is you cant cancel the yearly membership early or they will charge you the amount you saved. And even BETTER is the NEST install took them 30min.....$450 for 30 min. I will never ever use this company again and will specifically go out of my way to talk anyone I know from using them either.SUMMARY: bully shady marketing strategy, subpar surface.

Never has heating nor cooling been so amazing. Fayette Heating & Air installed the Carrier Infinity and my husband has been over the moon. The installation process was professional and courteous. The team cleaned up any mess made in my home and wore shoe slippers to avoid tracking dirt. The crew was friendly and didn't make me feel like they were rushing to get to the next home. I knew if I needed something they would stay until my questions and issues were resolved.The Comfort Advisor that sold the unit was beyond knowledgeable. He was able to answer each and every question with accuracy. I have piece of mind knowing every new installation comes with a 10 year warranty.I googled everything he said and found the same information online from multiple sources.Shortly after the install I received a call from the quality assurance department which confirmed everything was carried out according to company standards. I felt if anything hadn't been satisfactory I could have resolved my issues easily during this call.Fayette Heating & Air has won themselves a lifelong customer as long as I live in lexington. Their price is a bit more expensive than some other companies, but the piece of mind and amazing experience is worth every penny and then some. After spending thousands of dollars trying to fix a 4 year old ball homes unit, the ability to have my HVAC just work is beyond words.My husband and I are already planning on replacing our other unit, and will certainly use Fayette Heating & Air to do so.
The guys were great and very responsive to my requests for improvement of the house as well as solving the issue with the hot water heater.
The vent cleaners paid attention to every detail when cleaning and put everything back the way they found it

When my AC went out they had someone out promptly who gave us the break down on repair vs replacement of our system. Given our systems age we opted to replace and the gentleman was more than willing to answer our questions and was very knowledgeable and courteous. Alex was professional and courteous. He was quick to find the issue, which was major, and replace the entire system in a couple of hours. He left the area clean as well. I will use services from H2O for issues in the future.
I had appointment today with technician Name Justin but he was not responsive with my every questions but simply asked money for visit even though I had membership plan. Very poor guy he is and he simply came out of house without saying anything. I stop my membership today and continue with other company which has more service then this.
I was grateful that an appointment was available within 24hrs and then they called and offered to show up early. Rick diagnosed and fixed the issue very quickly and was as nice as could be. As far as these issues go, I feel like we got the best case scenario. I couldn't be happier about my experience.
Noticed that my furnace wasn't sending power to my thermostat so I scheduled an appointment with Fayette heating and air.They were prompt in showing up quickly, but that's the only useful thing they did. I was told the transformer was bad and not sending power to the thermostat, I asked if that is the root cause with an answer of maybe.He then showed me the price to fix it, over $500 for a transformer that costs ~$20. Lovely how they know the price but not the actual problem.I realize part of the cost comes from expertise, but they should really be more transparent and honest with their pricing.I was also asked twice to join their silly monthly club or whatever it's called, truly a ripoff.I would stay far away and try to find someone local. I also wouldn't believe all the positive reviews, they are probably offering incentives for a good review.

Jim came in for my semiannual Comfy Club inspection today. He brought new filters which I was out of and needed pretty badly. Big help. Dakota Tedder, informed me what was going on with the system. He was very courteous. The 4 star was having to wait almost 24 hours for service when I’m a comfy club member that’s not on him but it’s on the business.
We had our ancient furnace and AC replaced. With a crawl space and a 70 year old house, the job presented challenges, which were conquered with expertise and innovation. The only downside was that the entrance to the crawlspace had to better enlarged and the cover doesn't completely cover anymore. Not their fault, but we'll have to do some work to retrofit the cover to keep the rain and critters out.
Extremely knowledgeable and very professional!! Many thanks to Matt, Tyler! They installed a brand new HVAC system in just a couple of hours and when they were finished they went over every small detail to how they installed it and how to run it. Great business and thanks!

Technicians Nate and Trampis get FIVE stars! The front office and dispatch get one star. Management of the Comfy Club program is horrible. My summer routine maintenance was never scheduled which led to a condensation back up (algae buildup) and my unit shutting off Friday night. My call for service on Friday night was returned by a tech and we agreed that the service call could wait until Saturday morning. Tech said dispatch would call me around 7:30 am 8 am on Saturday, by 10:30 am no call. I call the get answering service that said I would get a call back in 30 minutes, one hour later no call. 11:45 am I get a call to inform me they have all been in a meeting and were just getting around to calling people back (nearly noon now). Glad to know that customers rank way behind their meetings. Used to be a good company - sad to see what it has become...and outrageously expensive compared to competitors. $291 later I have learned my lesson about Fayette Heating and Air.

Had Jason as my HVAC tech. About a month ago during the heat wave my AC would stop working and the house would get up to 88+ degrees. Jason came and fixed an issue on an older AC unit. After this current heat wave my house stayed nice and cool. Jason performed a really complicating repair quickly and was very professional. Would 100% recommend using Jason for your next HVAC need.
Justin has been trying to determine the cause for a loud compressor. He's been here twice in different weather because the noise is louder in the cold, and he's worked patiently and calmly in brutal cold to try to fix the problem. Easy appointment scheduling and rapid response, with a technician arriving within 3 hours of the call. The technician was extremely friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. My HVAC system issue was identified and repaired within 45 minutes at a very reasonable price.
I needed a whole new HVAC system and had Fayette Heating and Air do it. Everyone I dealt with was great. From Kevin who came out to to estimate the job (great deal with free furnace rebate)... to Jennifer in the office who organized and processed the deal (extremely nice and easy to work with)... to Matt and the other tech (sorry, forgot his name) who worked tirelessly to install the system (my house had many issues they had to work around and cost them a LOT of time).I highly recommend this company for your HVAC needs!!!!!

The only mistake was that they accidentally installed a way better system than the one that I had asked for, but they charge the same price. I would give 0 stars if I could. In the past 3 months, we have spent over $2500 in repairs. When the technician came to do our “routine checks” with their “Comfy Club” membership (which is an insane and useless rip off), we were told we had issues which resulted in us spending over $1500. About a week later, the unit stopped working suddenly. When we had them come back out, they wanted to charge us over $500 again. They refused to take responsibility for whatever damage they caused and tried to tell us a rodent probably chewed through the wiring or a staple eroded wiring. We do not and have ever had a rodent issue and if it was eroded, why wasn’t it identified when they did the maintenance. Their customer service representative was useless as well. Now we are going to have to find someone else to come in and fix whatever it is that they caused.

These guys are more interested in sales of new units than repairing an existing system. Our unit froze up a few months ago, phoned set up appointment for next day. 15 minutes into our appointment the “technician” supposedly had diagnosed our problem as a possible cracked coil. The cheapest fix would be at least 4-5k, but it would be like “putting money into an old truck with a lot of miles on it” according to their employee. 30 minutes after arrival we’re picking out a mid range 14k system (with 18 months same as cash financing) that will be replaced tomorrow. Ahhh, Ok.. Unbeknownst to the “technician” I did know the age of the system, I noticed the year manufactured (2011) on the first panel of the air handler u remove to examine the coils. This guy wanted us to believe it was put in when the house was built 1992, but never would exactly say how old, just at least 15-20.Canceled appointment, got second opinion from a smaller family run HVAC located in Georgetown. Showed up next day, spent 45-60 minutes, diagnosed problem as a switch that malfunctions on Carrier systems (had replaced 10 this year). 90$ piece, had to drain Freon took 3hrs. Total cost for repair 990$.AC has been ice cold ever since, saved $13,010!!!
I've been a comfy club member since 2017 and was highly impressed with the tech that came out twice a year to start. Two years ago I started asking myself the question do I need everything they are recommending? The reason I asked this is the price of maintenance and cost of what they were recommending was increasing. The other thing that bothered me was they gave large discounts if you elected to fix it that day. I've been around long enough to know nothing is free and I'm happy to pay, but when they say it costs $3,000 but if you do it today it will only be $2,000 something isn't right. I choose to delay everything. A customer service rep Sarah reaches out to ask how it went. I told her the truth. She told me I didn't have to have anything done, and that the techs make money on the the services they sell, I was flabbergasted. I told her I want to know what I need to have done and paying techs on the more they sell the more they make is a terrible system. How do I know if my HVAC needs the $3,000 of services or they tech just wants to make some extra money? I won't be using them again.

Got my HVAC unit fixed within 2 hours of my initial call. My technician, Jordan, was a great guy, very polite and knowledgeable. He explained to me in depth the reason why he was fixing what he fixed so I knew where my money was truly going. I'd recommend this company to othersEdit: Well, I was initially happy. After discovering I paid $1,300 for parts that should have been $350 (exact same brand, not similar parts but the SAME parts) and being quoted 10-11k to replace my whole unit and then having it done for $6,500 with all parts receiving a 10 year warranty from somebody else, I would recommend going another direction. Kind of leaves a bad taste in your mouth. I understand everybody has to make money but the upcharge seems absolutely ridiculous.I stand by what I said about Jordan though he's a good dude, probably not his fault he's pushing overpriced merchandise.

We had a faucet to the washer fail which involved shutting the water off to the whole house. I called H2O Maestro and they were here within an hour. Mike Farrer was polite, professional, and very informative. Can’t say enough good things about this service call.
Just had Fayette Heating and Air do their comfy Club service on our system. Very nice young man told us the capacitor on the heater needed to be replaced. He said the part was covered under warranty, but we would have to pay the labor of $200. We agreed and he proceeded to replace the part in about 10 minutes. This wasn't some older technician with loads of experience. When I called to complain the Customer Service Manager said they had a flat rate for certain jobs and if the task had taken 2 hours we would not have been penalized. That would have still been $200 an hour, and if this young man could do it in 10 minutes then I seriously doubt it would take much longer under most cercumstances. The Customer Service Manager actually seemed a little arogant. Basically said it is what it is and showed no sympathy. May seriously reconsider my commitment to this company. Let the buyer beware!!

Of course our air conditioning quit working on one of the hottest weeks of the year. I phoned early in the morning thinking I would be leaving a message but a person answered my call and she was very nice. We were given a time for that day for a repair person to come and he did come during the time he was supposed to arrive and was very nice and professional and fixed our AC very quickly. A few years ago they could not assist in replacing a water heater and we needed to get Buford and Sons - a small outfit to do a job these clowns could not handle despite the fact they advertised that they can fix any situation.Last year they came to inspect an AC unit and broke it permanently and then broke the furnace and did a quick fix saying we needed to replace it pronto as it was in a potentially dangerous situation. Which three other reputable companies disagreed with. We had AC and furnace replaced (with Southern Comfort) and now FH&A want us to front $120 for their Comfy Comfort Plan. What so they can break another company's products and workmanship?Try any of the other major or even minor plumbing outfits first. We won't ever trust them again.
These guys do great work, work with budgets, and I trust them to treat me fairly. It's exactly what you want from a company.

Charlie, a registered and certified electrician, came out on 8/4/22 to inspect the entire electric service system in our home. He observed outlets and the lights and switches. The work was performed in a professional manner throughout. They kept me appraised of the progress of the installation process and answered all of my questions regarding the project. The system works as intended and the team cleaned up and removed all of the debris that was produced. I would highly recommend these individuals to be a part of any home heating and air conditioning system installation team, and I would request them if I had to have another system installed in the future.

Jesse installed a gas line for and did a professional job the tie-in point was previously misaligned which he corrected so his job would look good.
Wayne was thorough and knowledgeable. He answered every single question with experience behind his explanation.
He fixed an issue that had three prior techs from various companies be unable to properly diagnose.
I've been a member of the Comfy Club for 7 years, and I recommend it to everyone I know. Today, Fayette Heating and Air technician Tony reminded me of the tremendous value of that membership. He was here for my biyearly system checkup, and was thorough, professional, and fast (but not too fast!). I had a semi-serious issue that he explained fully and remedied quickly. He also noticed a small issue in my crawl space that was not related to my HVAC system, took pictures, and even showed me pictures of the issue on his phone. Now I know to look into a problem I wouldn't have otherwise known I had! Every interaction I've ever had with Fayette Heating and Air -- from schedulers to sales to technicians -- has been low-pressure while still being effective and I'm sure saving me money in the long run. I cannot recommend Fayette Heating and Air (and their Comfy Club!) enough.
Justin Lacey performed the AC work on my home. He was on time as promised and did an excellent job explaining the issue at hand. He was able to very quickly fix the AC problem and even made suggestions on additional improvements I could make to make my AC perform more efficiently. I was very impressed and would certainly recommend him to anyone to assist with their AC needs. Overall my experience was a 10 out of 10!!

Purchased new unit less than two years ago. Told to get Comfy Club XL and it offers 10 years free parts and labor. No out of pocket expense the first 10 years. Have had three inspections each six months. No one ever looked at outside coils. They supposedly clogged up causing our unit to shut down. $600 quoted to clean and service call as no warranty covers this. Yet no one ever ispected, said to keep eye on or anything. Feel like we got taken advantage of. We bought the new A/C system for their service techs great customer service. They will lose our business for their poor customer service. Spoke to customer relations person that was not even worth the time to discuss with them. I read a lot of reviews. Don't often leave a review. But this time I did. What ever happened to customer service.

I called to have my heating system checked to determine if it was working properly. I was told it would cost $79.00 to do that. Your service man was courteous and checked everything.. I asked him to check the settings on my thermostats. He did. At the conclusion of the service call he told me that he had to charge me $96.00 for checking the thermostats. He didn't tell me that he was going to do that before he did the work. I thought it was included in the service call. I feel somewhat misled, and I am disappointed. If I had been advised that there was charge for checking the settings on the thermostats, I would not have authorized the work. Other than that, everything else was OK. Bob Reinhart

When was the last time you had a scheduled appointment that was 2-4 and they showed up around 4. Not this time!! Not only was Jason on time, but he was very polite and respectful. He never tried to push anything on us. He only recommended what was needed and we asked if he could do the add-ons today he gave us options with different costs. I would recommend not only Fayette Heating and Air, but also Jason York.

I am a new customer of Fayette Heating & Air, I must say I am very pleased with my service starting with the technician John Hutchinson who came to my home and gave me an estimate on my new HVAC System, John was very knowledgeable, polite and personable.. and to the two technician Justin Byrd and Austin Hunt who actually installed my new system, they were on time, friendly ,polite, personable and highly efficient. I am another satisfied customer and will recommend Fayette Heating & Air.... I most definitely will be using Fayette Heating & Air in the future and requesting Justin and Austin as my Service Technician.
About five years ago I bought a new AC unit from FH&A with a 10 year labor warranty for ~$600 - but when it putzed out, they didn’t fix it because the necessary manufacturer’s warrantied parts were on indefinite back order with no ETA.After 7 weeks in the middle of a heat wave, I called to see if I could have someone else make the repair without voiding the warranty. While the kind & friendly rep I talked to said that would be ok - Alex from “customer assurance” reached out afterward to renege.
I would recommend Fayette Heating & Air to everyone. Glenn was very knowledgeable & experienced.

Had an issue with my outdoor compressor on the coldest day of the year. Fayette sent an outstanding teck to diagnose and resolve my problem. He diagnosed the problem within a few minutes and despite the 13 degree temp. fixed the problem quickly. Could not be more pleased with the service and satisfied completely with my teck. I paid for a repair service visit due to my unit not working. Tech advised my “gas control valve” was stuck. He told me with the age of my system, that part would be very difficult to find and would likely cost over $900 just for the part. He suggested I replace the unit. The issue is: I quick google search for the part number revealed that part is very readily available. It cost in the area of $150 new. It’s even available on Amazon!I don’t believe they even did a diagnosis, and the tech was either incompetent (in not knowing how common that part it) or he was just trying to sell new system. After noticing this, it brought into question if that part was even the problem. Another company was called who advised that part was completely functional.In the end, I paid this company to repair my system, but instead got lied to and the company upon making a complaint I was told they would not refund my cost of the repair visit. I paid to get lied to!

I cannot speak highly enough of the service that H2O Maestro provided. Not only did we have exceptional technicians, but the service was “over the top”! Jacob, our initial technician, called Justin, another technician, and he arrived in minutes. Both technicians were equally exceptional, hardworking, and professional. We had an emergency on a hot Sunday late afternoon. Fayette Heating was RIGHT there to save the day. They promptly diagnosed the problem and arranged a follow up repair visit the next morning. Never did the service staff make us feel like we were imposing on them. Also, being a member of The Comfy Club added immensely to our experience. I would definitely recommend this membership for the benefit.

We wanted a permanent stand-by generator. The representative who came to our house seemed very knowledgeable about the products and our needs. But a crew arrived on time and worked diligently through the the day to complete the installation. When they left, they had cleaned up the work area. I was impressed.

I have been a Comfy Club member for many years. My heater recently went out and they were at my house within 45 minutes. After a bit of convincing, I got my appointment for repair moved up two days. I had out of town guests for holidays that I relocated to my daughter’s in Louisville due to heat being out. So Fayette Heating expedited the repair once the part arrived. My guests can finally stay here for the rest of the week!

I requested a technician to come out and look at my system and give me a quote to replace the entire heat pump system. A circuit breaker on the indoor unit broke when he was inspecting, then we were told that it would be an additional $190 for the breaker on top of the $139 service fee. I feel like I shouldn't have to pay for something the technician broke. They said that if we bought the whole system from them that they would just fix it, but the original quotes given were significantly higher than the competitors. They were able to match the top of the line quote of the other company but pressured us into thinking that we had to make the decision immediately. Overall, just a horrible experience dealing with them. I paid for them to send someone out to help and in the end I was left with either a bill for something they broke or no heat at all(the heat was working when they got there). I contacted another company and they sent a technician right away who fixed my unit and gave me a much cheaper quote for a complete install. My recommendation is to find another service provider, I wish I had.Update: I was refunded the money for the consultation.

I've had 3 systems installed and its a mixed bag at best. As one of the reviewers mentioned, if you have Oleg come out, you are good, but aside from that, you are taking a crap shoot. Brent, the comfort advisor, has always been professional as well - but as mentioned, its then other folks coming and putting a hasty system in after you agree to the price.After wondering for 12 months - I had heard they had a lot of turnover - I now talked to Richard, the Service Manager, and his complete lack of professionalism helps explain a lot. They want to charge you fees to look at systems they have installed in the last 6-18 months (which I refuse to pay), and then they came back and identified better ways to install the systems they put in (again, that THEY installed) and that almost doubles the costs.I'm giving them one last chance, and I'm hoping their managers are more polite and professional than the service manager I spoke too, and then I'm out of the Comfy Club and done with this company. They have good folks (technicians) who are polite and generally have solid skills, it just seems there is no dynamic at play in the management to keep folks focused on customer service.Of note, been in the construction/service management industry for 25 years...this seems to be a company that is focused on advertising over customer retention/service from my recent experiences with them. Here is hoping they figure out a way to prove me wrong and satisfy this customer...

Eli and his apprentice were very professional and friendly during their installation of our HVAC system. They were unobtrusive and made sure to keep us in the know of which steps they were at during the installation process.
I think James is a good representative for his employer. He was very professional and explained to me everything he was doing. He was very knowledgeable about his work, and he took the time to clean up after himself.
Shelby and his assistant were very professional and answered all of the questions I had. They performed the installation without incident and were focused on the job at hand. They cleaned up afterward and made sure all was working as it should. I am very happy with the job they did!
I haven't had any major problems with FH&A. But it always seems like they are trying to sell me stuff I don't need. They managed to get me to spend $80 on bleach packets that go in your unit to deter mold growth. My HVAC guy that lives next door told me that was just a waste of money and that I shouldn't be having mold growth in my HVAC units to begin with. So, I feel like a rube and that I wasted money on something I didn't need in the first place.Other than that, they are SUPER professional! They send pics of the tech to your phone and they tech wears shoe covers when they come in your house. My tech was really nice and professional and other than spending money on the bleach packets, I feel like he was honest and open about my HVAC units.
I'm impressed with Tony White's professionalism, his attentiveness to my concerns, and his pleasant demeanor. Tony had installed a Bradford White water heater which was part of a recall for a bad anode rod. He has made two subsequent visits to resolve the problem of the anode generating air inside the unit. While I have concerns about future problems with this water heater, I have no concerns about Tony's work. He is a good representative for H2O Maestro and I have faith in his work.

My wife and I bought a condo in December 2012 and Fayette Heating and Air installed the heating and air unit. A little over a year later we were having trouble with the thermostat and called FH&A. The service rep corrected the problem with the thermostat and the checked the outside fan and compressor unit. The electrical breaker for the unit was in the off position and would not reset. It was determined the compressor was bad and would have to be replaced.Warranty on the unit covered the parts but, labor, since we were over 12 months was our responsibility. Of course we had no choice if we wanted to be comfortable so the compressor was replaced at a labor cost of $635.00 which was quoted for around four hours labor.After Jeremy installed the part, we were handed a bill for $724.00. The extra $89.00 was the service fee. We certainly thought that the $635.00 would reflect the service call and surely would not have included the second service fee.The installation was done in a timely manner but the fees were unreasonable. I would not recommend this company and if we ever have to install a new unit, Fayette Heating and Air will NOT be the company we use.

I have always had great service from this company. They may be a little more expensive but they do a great job and warranty their work. And if something goes wrong they come back out and fix it for free.
Called wanting a simple, non programmable thermostat to replace my complicated thermostat. The lady said it would cost 139.00 just for the service call. I said, okay. Did not tell me that the thermostat cost 279.00, making the total cost 418.00! If I had all of this information upfront I would have said, no, and moved on to another company. By the way, when the tech arrived he informed me that they only had one non programmable thermostat. I declined this outrageous price and refused to pay the service charge because I could have prevented this if I had all of the information to begin with. I got a leading company to come out for 64.00 for the service charge and the thermostat (same make) was 100.00 cheaper! This is my true story. Make of it what you will.

This was one of my two system checks included with my club membership.
Jordan was awesome! Very professional and knowledgeable. I was shocked to learn that the $900 HVAC air scrubbers last only 2 years and the replacements are $400. I feel like I was taken advantage of on that deal. The company needs to let the customers know that these have to be replaced every 2 years. Something makes me feel like I was ripped off.

First time after owning my house for 6 years I joined their special program where they come our and “check” my system. All the sudden I need a $1k air scrubber and $700 worth of other items even through everything worked fine. Then a week later after installing that my upstairs air conditioner stops. Call them to see they determine it’s nothing they did it just stopped and I’m being charged another $500??? No, I’ll have someone reputable maintain my a/c after it was YOU that caused it go bad in the first place. This company is a fraud and crooks. They sent their poor employee out who told me the truth the day before it was probably something from what the original tech did to come lie with another spotter employee to keep his job. Don’t blame him he doesn’t want to lose his job. Sad the companies morals are so crooked they would do that to a good man.

Anytime we need to call we always get prompt service, and the nicest and knowledgeable young men come out. I would recommend Fayette Heating to any of my family & friends. Today we had Shelby come out and he was awesome...so nice and made sure we were happy and all our questions were answered.
Quick service and had my house cooling down again in no time! I appreciate the work they do outside particularly when it's hot, like it's been lately.
Rick takes pride in his work and often finds problems before the become an expensive issue.
This company is hit or miss. We've used them several times but our recent experiences were not great. It just depends on the technician that comes out. They have some good people and some young/inexperienced ones as well. They're more interested in selling you a new unit or extra services than taking the time to diagnose your current one. This last visit I was asked how long I plan to live in this home (we just moved in and the Heat Pump is less than a year old) and when I told him a long time he looked lost and stubbled on his words while talking about getting a brand new unit. Customer services was supposed to give us a call to discuss the situation but no one even tried to follow up. So we had someone come out and fix it same day...simple fix that Fayette Heating missed due to inexperience and their sales pitch.

I've been a member of the Comfy Club for several years now and I can't sat enough good things about it. It has helped catch problems before they can happen as well as keep me informed about our system. Glen was our tech today and he was very knowledgeable and he got our system cleaned very well with one of the companies cleaning services as well as helped me install new filters. If you are looking for quality HVAC work then look no further and if you just bought a home or if you have owned one for a while and want to know how your system is running I highly suggest joining the Comfy Club.
My 25 year old heat/air was on its last leg and needed to replace. Fayette Heating was able to give me a very competitive quote immediately and scheduled install for the next day. Crew was out early and on time. Mr. Betancourt, one of the installers is such a fantastic young man, very courteous and hard working on my somewhat difficult crawl space install. I cant say enough good things about him. Install was completed in the day and all leftover equipment and trash was removed and cleaned impeccably.It has just been a day, so I cannot reliably rate equipment just yet but I am very pleased so far.

I had a lot of issues with Fayette Heating and Air originally. I had used their services at a previous house, and when I bought a new house continued on. At first all was well, but slowly the service went down hill. It would take three or sometimes four visits for a technician to be able to repair a problem. As a member of the Comfy Club, we are supposed to have top priority, but due to overwhelming demand that seemed to push members back further in line. When a compressor went out in March, we had it replaced, but then in May the reverse valve, on the same unit, gets stuck. So two technician visits later, we are given quotes for replacing the valve and for replacing the complete unit. My husband and I decided to go ahead and replace the complete unit. There were some other issues involving their quoting system, but in the end the sales team did their best to rectify the situation and all was handled in a satisfactory manner.Technician installing the unit was very professional, and timely.

Fayette Heating & Air always shows up right when promised, I've never had to sit around and wonder when (or if) someone will show up. They provide notice shortly before arriving along with details about my technician, which is especially comforting when my wife is home alone to greet them.The techs are always friendly and respectful of my property, and I never feel like I've invited a pushy salesman into my home. When extra work is needed, they clearly communicate the reason the work is necessary, the complete cost (no hidden surprises!), and they even go above and beyond to offer their opinion on the cost/benefit analysis between doing the work now or delaying it until their next visit.I've been a Comfy Club member for years, and I don't plan to change anytime soon.

Water has been condensing on the A coils of my two year old unit. The water is being pulled down on the blower, leaking down into the wall and ceiling below. Fayette Heating and Air came out within 24 hours. The technicians charged me for condensation line partially blocked causing water to back up and leak. Drain trap installed improperly from drain pan. Replaced needed drain line and flushed existing line. For this they charged me $315 and only replaced a foot section of PVC!!! My issue is THEY NEVER FIXED THE PROBLEM. The water damage has spread. I called them back less than three days later and they had the audacity to try and charge me another $90 service fee. Another one of their technicians came out and said he didn't know what could be causing it and there was nothing he could do. He thought adding freon to the system might help and tried to charge me another $90 to do so!!! Terrible! Had another HVAC company, one with a five star rating, look at the system. They found the drain line the Fayette charged me $315 was not suctioned and cleared! So Fayette did NOTHING and abused my trust in their service pricing.The other company I am using has had to call the manufacture about the system. They are going to check the static pressure in the system and could adjust the blower speed. They are doing everything to fix my problem. DO NOT use Fayette Heating and Air they will rip you off and claim they cannot do anything further when they can't get any more money out of you. Fayette Heating and Air is happy shrugging their shoulders and leaving the job unfixed.I would give Fayette Heating and Air 0 stars.
Chris did a great job in identifying the plumbing problem - a 12 year old pump had died. He was able to replace it on the same day. A good experience to have it done cleanly and efficiently.

Making appointments is quick and easy. Josh was friendly and professional both on the phone and during the visit. He explained everything as he went along. Great up front transparency about what to expect during the visit, repair, and associated costs. H2O Maestro has never let us down. We will continue to use their services anytime we have plumbing or HVAC needs. They have been the only plumbing or HVAC company we have used recently that came out during the day and time initially scheduled.
I can’t express how amazing are the techs from Fayette Heating&Air, Cameron took time to investigate the reason why my air conditioning stopped working, even after the HVAC turned on an hour later. Matt and Aaron were perfect. They were quick, helpful, polite, and very knowledgeable. They explained to me the process of putting in a new heater and what steps I'd have to take for maintenance. They also answered all of my questions and offered future assistance should I need it. They triple-checked their work and made sure I was satisfied before leaving.
Our thermostat went dark just as we were going to bed. I did a quick check to ensure we had not tripped a breaker but that was not the case. I called at 10:30 at night to leave a message and spoke directly to someone who scheduled an appointment for the very next morning. Jason York was there as scheduled and got to work diagnosing the problem. It was not a small fix but he was knowledgeable, informative, and professional. I want everyone to know that I DO NOT recommend this company. I don’t normally leave reviews but this was terrible. This company came out to tell me that our one year old unit needed a new belt and filter. They changed $395 even though we decided that we did not want their services. After speaking with Alex (their complaints guy) he did refund me $145. So if you hire this company just to tell you that you need things you don’t need they will charge you at least $250. Don’t use this company. Use any other company.
I really can't say anything bad. They gave me options, recommendations & estimates. I never felt pressured. Everyone was nice & knowledgeable. Yes, their prices are a little high, but I felt comfortable & know that they did a great job. The only issue I had was that they had to come back to reinstall an a/c part.

Jeff Daniel's fixed the problem immediately. He arrived on site early. The reason I only gave 4 stars is because the tech Fayette Heating and Air sent out 5 days prior didn't even troubleshoot the problem. He looked inside the furnace room and said it's a plumber issue and said to call Home Shield back and request a plumber. It ended up being an AC issue.Jeff Daniels did an excellent job!

He performed a full spectrum of tests, made one necessary repair, and did not try to oversell other services, which I very much appreciated. I let him know that we were having an issue with a clogged drain on our downstairs unit that the plumber from H2O Masetro could not fix and told us we had a collapsed pipe. Nick took a look at it and in a matter of 10 minutes had the problem fixed and back up and running. Nick went above and beyond in his level of service and professionalism, I cannot state how impressed and thankful that my family and I are that Nick came and got the job done.

I want to be able to track for future as I think this part was recently replaced but they could not find documentation. The guys they sent did a good job. They were polite, and followed pandemic protocol. These are my issues. The suggestion they gave me about a filter was the complete opposite from the guy they sent last year. I knew we would have the initial fee for coming out, however the 355.00 for cleaning was not explained or expected. They didn't say the cost until after the work was done so I felt obligated to pay. At this day in time with everything so uncertain with finances I feel this was extremely unethical and unfair. I called the office before they had even left and was told someone would call me back. The next day I talked to someone when I made a second call to the office. I basically was told that he would work with the guys on my issue. I'm expecting the same from this review. I'm not sure what, if anything, would have made me feel like my complaint was taken serious. I felt like he was just reading off of a script with the conversation and that bothers me ever more.

I hired Fayette to install 2 HVAC systems in our new construction house build in Campbellsville KY. They installed 5 ton and a 2.5 ton Amana Dual Fuel system. Jason York was my salesman and Josh Abrams lead installer. I 100% recommend Fayette to my friends and anyone reading this. A squirrel in the attic did extensive damage to my upstairs heating unit. Blake came in, diagnosed the problem, made sure the right parts were ordered, and then came back to finish the job. He did his work respectfully, professionally, and worked in 22 degree weather all day. It was a big job, but he handled it for me and put my unit back together. Blake was reliable and thorough. He was just what the job called for and I was very glad.

What started out as a disaster with our system just quitting, Fayette Heating and Air came through to turn things around. In a matter of 48 hours, we went from trying once again to bandaid or existing unit to completely replacing a tired unit. Lee was our 1st contact. He gave it to me straight. Put me in contact with Jeff who came over late Sunday evening to see what our options were. Once we had all the details worked out. This morning Stacey and Josh were here bright and early to replace our heating and air units. They worked quite efficiently and in no time our home was cooling down. Thank you to everyone who came through in a pinch!

Service tech explained what needed to be done and showed why it needed to be done and did it quickly. It ended up being a little expensive, but isn't everything these days?
Absolute Nightmare.I'd do my best to avoid this company at all cost - I was having issues with an 7 year old ICP (Carrier) heatpump. Long story short, i was sold a new system after being told it would be too expensive to fix my old.They proceeded to install the system, and installed it incorrectly. I was also sold a duct cleaning, but more on that shortly.They installed my system and did a poor job on the soldering from the lineset to the heat pump, my system has slowly been leaking refridgerant and they've had to come out 2 times to fill it back up. On the 2nd visit, they finally noticed the leak and are sending someone out to fix it.They provided a new thermostat with the system and proceeded to install the thermostat crooked/off-level which can cause inaccurate readings.I've now had 2 months of astronomically high electric bills, terrible heating in the middle of freezing weather, & multiple calls to the same place over & over as well as what I now think is heat-pump related PTSD lol.......I run outside to check on every little noise now since there's been all sorts of issues.Touching on the duct cleaning, they cleaned all ducts but then proceeded to put the air vents back on backwards causing the air to blow towards the walls/windows/doors. They've since corrected this issue however, they had to come back to do so.I even spoke to a relationship manager who's only effort at fixing the situation was to just say sorry.This is absolutely terrible business practice - and i'll do my best to make sure everyone I know utilizes a different heating/cooling company.You're told you pay a higher premium as they supposedly do a good job, all I feel like I paid for was for a shady company to do a shifty job. Fayette Heating & Air is NOT the best in Lexington.

Very good at setting up appointment and responding to questions. Very kind people.BUT -- Completely overpriced. Quoted $6,900 for the good $7500 better $7,900 for best on replacing entire HVAC system (heat pump) in a single family 1300sqft home. Easy access to the unit through a utility closet.I had another quote from GW Heating and Cooling, and they did the complete replacement with a much better unit, for only $4,430 ! The ratings for Fayette Heating and Air must be from people who don't know any better on how much something should cost to fix/replace !

Dakota from Fayette Heating & Air was everything you would want from a service person. He was prompt, professional, respectful of being in another person's home, and provided clear information and suggestions.
Tech arrived on time and proceeded to check all parts of the unit - recommended replacement part for the heat pump and explained what would happen if it wasn't replaced. Since we had been alerted to this replacement need before, we agreed to the repair. It was completed promptly. He was properly masked, wore shoe covers, prompt and courteous. He remembered last year's chili that I was making - next year James!

My recent experience with the problem with my HVAC system was really positive. Dakota and I agreed not to 'close the door' on this one because the problem may reassert itself, as it dealt with the cladding of ductwork. But the big positive was the fact that he found the problem at all. It was in a hidden part of my ceiling...not very obvious until he got up there. I'm hoping Fayette can help me find a drywall person to repair the ceiling...otherwise I am very pleased with the result so far.

We noticed our AC wasn't working on a Saturday around 5:30PM. We were able to schedule and have service come by 9PM that night. The service tech Lee was wonderful! Very professional, friendly and courteous.
Nate Isaacs came the same day I called. He found and replaced the bad part and was gone in less than 45 min. Great job, great company and a great technician.
Fayette Heating and Air sent me a text message informing me when I could expect the technician to arrive at my home, the name of the technician with a picture, and a short bio of the technician which I thought was pretty cool. And the tech himself sent me a text message informing me when he was on his way to my home. When he arrived he was on time, very friendly, and very professional. He made sure that my wife and I both understood what was going on with our gas boiler heating system and gave us great suggestions and recommendations on what was needed to properly maintain our heating and cooling systems. Our techs name was Brian and he did an awesome job. I would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone that needs help maintaining or repairing their heating and cooling systems to contact Fayette Heating and Air.

Chris Bailey was very helpful and explained everything well. He was punctual and early on both service calls, I genuinely appreciate his portion of this repair.However, the communication and customer support side here was abysmal. Following an hours long episode of scheduling confusion, including a confirmed appointment that was evidently some sort of fantastical make believe, I was transferred to a manager who time and again inhospitality stonewalled my simple request for an explanation as to why I had been so severely inconvenienced that day. Said manager was then very lacking of knowledge in re pricing and incorrectly quoted me the final price. He simply continued the clearly shallow, monotone and insincere placation effort.In toto, the repair tech was great, but the communication very poor at best and the managerial explanation for the resulting terrible personal inconvenience and delay was unfortunately outrage inspiring.

This was our 2nd installation with Fayette Heating & Air. The team went above and beyond to get this done as professionally as possible. Our original unit was installed in an odd way and this made it very difficult to replace. Both installers spent hours taking everything apart carefully and reconstructing the new unit to make it easier to access and change the filter. A much needed relief for us, especially when air quality is so important. The included UV light was also installed and we breath easier knowing our air is cleaner and system more efficient. No more hot summer days in our house!

They also were very courteous and friendly. I highly commend them for the good installation they did at my home.
Ryan Lawrence and his helper were very friendly and knowledgeable about what they were doing installing the new heating and cooling system. I found this company overcharging at least ten times the cost. For instance, a capacitor costs $7.00, but they charged $241.00. Services furnace repair cost for the circuit board replacement $891.00 but the price for this board $200.00. I refuse to pay $1100.00 for two items which the new furnace is $1500 to $2000.00, which I am very disappointed in Fayette Heating and Air. Plus, I have a club membership—what a big joke on me. Thank you, but no, thank you. It should be laws against these companies that have taken advantage of people who can not protect themselves against the larger company. I paid $301.00 for a capacitor, but not again.
Our standard 6 month HVAC check was completed by Dakota a week ago and he came back today to replace cartridges for our air filtering system today. He has done several of our previous 6 month checks. So often we don't remember how professionals care for us, our home, our kids, our businesses. We start each day expecting them to be there for us. We are so thankful that Dakota takes excellent care of our two geothermal systems. His knowledge, professionalism, respect for our home with always a kind and gentle demeanor is that HVAC geothermal technician who is there for us. He gives us plenty of lead time and is always on schedule if not early.Today's service was after I did some research on a 2 year life part for our air filtering system finding out lower price does not mean correct quality. I spoke to Fayette Service Manager, Joe Bradley who worked out quickly and VERY fairly the replacement of the part we needed on both systems. Dakota came today, EARLY, calling beforehand to assure it was ok. He's a pleasure to have in our home and we know he's taking the best care of our home's systems.We have been a customer of Fayette Heating and Air for over 32 years. This company has always strived to provivide quality and innovative service. They right any wrongs quickly and every year there is always improvement. Dakota and management will take care of your geothermal HVAC systems and you will have a completely positive experience.
Both times I've had to use this service, the issue was resolved on their 1st trip out. That is exceptional service to me. I even joined the membership which is $5 a month for the 1st year and then $10 after that. It includes 2 free check ups A year to make sure all is well in the home. 😊
Mr. Bailey was professional in every category. I had questions and he answered them all. I asked his opinion regarding certain products and he was thorough with his explanation and gave me the facts. We consider Mr. Slone a credit to his employer and will request him for any need that arises and service from Fayette HVAC.

With two young children and very hot day, it was essential to get the air conditioning back up and running as quickly as possible - which he did within an hour. Super nice, friendly, and efficient. I called for a technician to make my home cool again. The last week has been brutally hot. We got Someone to come to our house and tell us our AC system is just plain old. Having been with the company over 15 years, I trusted his assessment and took an estimate on a new system install. My house reaching temps over 80 degrees, as I scramble to put together $7000 for a new install, I began to get curious. Being mechanically inclined, I took a look at my system, wondering how something becomes “too old” to cool my house as it did the week before. Upon my inspections I found my Coil was frozen into a solid block.They never took the time to look at this, I don’t know why, perhaps because he was too busy, or complaining about the heat, or perhaps because he’s so close to retirement he doesn’t feel the need to perform, or perhaps he gets some incentive to sell more installs, but nevertheless I was charged $80 for them to write me an estimate on an install I may or may not need, time will tell.Comfort heating and air seems to have a much better service history, and their estimate was much better quality than the one provided to me.I like the “technician” as a guy, but after taking $80 of my hard earned cash, I needed to share this experience.
Jordan who initially diagnosed the problem was on time, knowledgeable and personable. It was supposed to be in the upper 80's-90 over the weekend, so he made sure we were able to get a loaner window AC until the install date.The installers were also very friendly and did a good job installing a new HVAC unit. My only complaint is that they left 4-5 sharp machine screws scattered on our garage floor. I think I've picked them all up but we have 2 motorcycles and a car parked in the garage.I would still use Fayette Heating and Air again. However, I just wished they took the extra 30 seconds to make sure they didn't leave any sharp objects that could result in flat tires or injury if you stepped on them.

Inspector told me that when he inspects homes that have been serviced by Fayette Heating & Air he has an expectation that the work will be completed correctly. While I did not climb up into the attic to check, the inspector told me that they did good job for me. Having no problems with the unit. Received rebate forms as promised. Would use again.

Dakota came out to service my 4 yr old AC system, said he couldn't find anything wrong (wouldn't come on) advise to a hard start kit and stated my freon was low .. after joining their coffee club though it was good deal to save for future... I canceled their monthly service when I went a few day later and noticed that he didn't tight the strader vlv and left the cap loose.. I was loosing freon. I now see how they make their money by sloppy work.. I wouldn't recommend them to no one and be sure ive got nothing good to say about that tech,,,, no thx btw after the 300% mark on parts... it totaled over a grand.... I can just imagine what the next bill would've been if I didn't find that freon leak when they came out to service it.... yeah right......

We've been members of the Comfy Club for a few years now and recently had to replace our HVAC system. Chris Sandford provided us with several options and described the pros and cons of each thoroughly. After obtaining other estimates and information from a few other companies for due diligence, he was willing and able to go back to the drawing board with me and update some of the details in order to meet (and beat) the other offers available to me from competitors in the region.The whole process from sale to installation would have been a business day had I not wanted to weigh all my options and make a few more inquiries. The install team came out and replaced our furnace, outside unit, some defective ducts, and thermostat in a morning and afternoon. There was some issue with the outside unit, however, and it was not performing as expected. It was removed and replaced with a brand new unit the very next day. We are very happy with the warranties for the work and the equipment as well as the professionalism and efficiency of everyone from sales to installation and maintenance. While this had the potential to be a painful project (as we weren't expecting or planning this project at this time) the folks at Fayette Heating and Air made it much less so. I'd highly recommend them if you are in the market for HVAC work.

I had my plumbing inspection that came with my comfy Club, no one try to sell me something that I didn't need. However I needed to have a hot water heater changed I was thinking it would take at least 4 hours to have that done. Much to my surprise it only took a couple of hours.

Where do I begin. We are (were now) comfy club members for the sole purpose of their priority service calls. Our heat went out Sunday morning so we called them. The unit is completely under warranty. A tech arrived at 5pm and said it was a fuse, so he installed it and it still didn't light. Blew out the ignitor and motherboard trying to fix it. Came back Monday morning with a new ignitor and that didn't work so overnighted a motherboard. NO PROACTIVE response from FHA on Tuesday as to why the part wasn't in - finally heard back and scheduled for Wed 10-12. Tech came at 3:30, installed part and STILL couldn't get it. Was told gas valve being overnighted. Called today (thursday) to find out it wouldn't be in until Monday. The only heat source in our house is a gas inset fireplace running non stop and temps in house never over 60. NO COMMUNICATION unless I called them. Was told I was only being charged $527 for the motherboard they blew and conveniently couldn't find anywhere in lexington and had to order.I called the techs who installed the unit 7 years ago and they were out with the part within 30 minutes, with the parts that were not available anywhere in Lexington. Tech confirmed that the supply house had no less than 17 motherboards in stock and no reason to order. Heat on within another 15. AT A THIRD the cost of Fayette. If you want a price gouging part swapper who will lie to your face and not fix your heating, by all means call Fayette Heating. If you want your heat fixed right, call someone else.
