Our electrical issues were fixed with great care. Dave P. went above and beyond my expectations. He knows his job and does it well. There were a couple bumps at the end of the road, but it was an AEP issue, not Korte. My estimate was what we paid. I will use Korte for future needs.

Aaron C came to our house to check the electrical wiring for safety reasons in our older home. He and his interns Tim and Ryan were careful with keeping the home clean by wearing protective gear and clearing away any debris. He was extremely professional and addressed our safety concerns by carefully explaining the electrical problems and suggesting options to address those problems as well as informing us about current codes. Aaron's professionalism and care and concern for the well being and safety of our family members went well above our expectations and he must be considered a truly valued member of the Korte Team. Our Korte technician called before coming to our home as promised. Ryan M came out right after a snow storm and below freezing temps to service our generator. His friendly personality makes it a pleasure to have him around! He also does a wonderful job maintaining our generator!

Josh B and Caleb installed a new furnace for us. They were very professional and quick with the install. Korte also dropped off space heaters for us with while we didnt have heat.

Originally spoke to someone for an estimate back in the end of February came out early March. They told me they could complete the work in early April. There were several delays and the work wasn’t completed until the middle of may. Also the project manager Adam I spoke with was extremely rude to me, and was poor with communication. For example I was told the work was scheduled in early April I got a date they told me it would take two days. When the workers were there they started talking about having a phase 1 and then coming back at a later date fo finish the work. No one told me about not having it finished before the workers were in my home. They also didn’t tell me the county would need access to the inside of my home without warning or an appointment until after we failed our first inspection because we were not home. Korte didn’t even tell me we failed inspection I called them because I was expecting a call back about coming back to finish the work. I told adam I wasn’t a fan of the poor communication and he sarcastically said “well I’m telling you now” Also one of their workers tripped in my attic and caused a massive hole in the ceiling of my dining room making me take an additional day off of work to be home for someone to fix it and they also didn’t tell their boss I called the following day. They also damaged our drywall in several areas including brand new drywall. For the final stage they were told to enter through the back door that was unlocked on the final day and they showed up tried to enter through the front door and left calling me an hour later to tell me they were working on another project and they could get back to me next week. I had to call and argue with the project manager and they did come complete the work as promised that day so we would have working outlets. The project manager also was rude to me for not picking up my phone immediately at 8am when I work late nights and that is the middle of the night for me. Also the workers when they were in my home asked me more than once when my husband would be home so they could speak to him. I hired them. I’m paying them not my spouse. Absolutely abhorrent behavior by all people I’ve been in contact with from this company.

I was very satisfied with the work he did. He made sure that everything was working properly. Please make sure that he is the only one that you send each time.

Jacob S & Jason arrived punctually to replace our furnace, AC, and humidifier. They went the extra mile in correcting some problems from the previously installed equipment. The new setup looks neat and tidy. Our floors were covered from the front door to the basement ... greatly appreciated. Jake thoroughly explained usage and tips for getting optimal performance from the new equipment. Already we are noticing a difference in comfort with the upgraded model. Both Jake and Jason were professional in their manner and treated our property with respect.

Our water heater died and Korte was able to get a technician out that day and replace it within 3 hours. We cannot say enough good things about the company and our technical, Carlos. he was professional, quick, friendly, and did an excellent job. We've used Korte for our furnace and AC as well and always a good experience. Thank you for a quick response and resolution.

Ryan did a great job troubleshooting my generator. He was friendly ,efficient and now is my new generator service man.

The last service that Korte completed for us was a new furnace and air conditioning system. They were on time and completed the installation in one day. Good quality installation and and the new systems works flawlessly. Good company to work with. After 65+ years in the maintenance field it was/is my observation/opinion that Korte should take the health and safety of their employees seriously by providing them with safety equipment and training in their use.

Out $99 AND NO WORK WAS DONE!

I own a rental Property In Fort Wayne and live out of town.
I called Korte who says they do it all. I ask them to come and Fix a Toilet that would not stop running. I was assuming that it was just the Boober or Flapper that was bad and needed replace. The service is call was $99 for the Tech to come out...this is where the catch is.
Other pluming companies were $150 call which cover the 1st hour; and then the would charge you for Parts. Boober and Flaps are anywhere from $6 to $30 so I should have been around $129 on the High side to replace the flap. We'll once Korte was out there they said the flap replace is a extra $108 on top of the $99 service call. They proceeded to say that everything is piece mill, I said sorry I'm not interested in getting ripped off today and that I was going to review them. Kory said that he didn't care because the get enough reviews that one would not hurt.

I would stay clear of this company.

We had a couple of outlets that unusable, or partly unusable for years. I made an appointment for between 2 and 4, but they called and were able to come early. Terry and Justin were super nice and replaced the outlets and even changed a couple of bulbs that were out of my reach. I'm sure I'll be calling Korte again for other jobs.

Noah and Logan were super efficient, professional and kind. They worked diligently and even swept the garage upon completion of installation. Most excellent!

The service I received from Zai was exceptional!! Just serviced my furnace the other day and it was nice to see a new face. I was however not happy that I could not use the $25.00 off coupon that said i could use on ANY service call. You should either not offer the coupon if a customer can't use. Very confused....

It may not be often that the first company in the Google search results is the ideal choice to respond to your 12AM Easter Sunday morning sump pump issue, but this time, I feel that was exactly the case.

Chad is, in my opinion, the absolute best person that could have shown up and performed the needed replacement. He was meticulous and skillful in his work, considerate, and just generally a very caring and engaging person to have in your company.

Our water heater went out the day we were having multiple guests and family at our home. The Korte Team jumped into action, and replaced the unit within a few hours of our call ( and after normal hours). Very hard working Technician

Well the song on the commercial says Korte Does It All. The technician said sewer is too deep and we can't fix it. So they should change the song to Korte does most of it.

WAYYY OVERPRICED!!! Our air went out a couple months ago and we had Korte come out to run a diagnostic and they said our blower motor was broken. We went ahead and told them to order the part for us and it took almost 3 weeks to come in (which was frustrating because we have a baby and puppy so really needed air quick). Once it finally arrived they called back with a price… They gave us a price for labor and it was way out of our budget so we decided to call around because we’ve heard from a few of our friends that their prices were high. We reached out to Poormans Heating and Air and they came to check it out (the day we called) and fixed it (still the same day) for LESS than half the price Korte quoted us for! Oh and also the blower motor wasn’t even the issue in the first place so we would’ve paid Korte an arm and a leg and still would’ve had a broken air conditioner.

It is a family business and has excellent service. They are very kind, polite and honest. When they close the shop they totally disconnected from the business. The best way to communicate with them is in person from 9am to 5pm, sometimes until 6 pm. I recommend them, they are the best professionals that I know.

He has been an exemplary technician on each and every trip to our home, particularly yesterday, when he managed to put together our entire air conditioning system and had us up and running within the day. The Carrier unit purrs like a kitten, its super quiet. Thank you so very much for allowing us to use his services.

Called on a Friday to have furnace looked at as we suspected problem. That afternoon they came for inspection and confirmed our concerns. Worked with Jeff on our various options. Neal did a FANTASTIC job. He was quick and efficient with taking care of the clog in our kitchen sink. He listened to me, and took time to explain not only to me what was going on but also my husband over the phone while was at work. Would highly recommend this company, and if we have plumbing issues again we will be asking for Neal to take care of the issues!

Neal showed up when he said he would. He was kind, courtesy and friendly. This was not a scheduled appointment, but an emergency call that we sadly had to make on a Sunday. This meant there was an upcharge, but we're so thankful he was able to come out and clear up our pipes. The alternative was we would have had to wait until the next day (Monday) to have someone come out and in the meantime we wouldn't have been able to use faucets, toilets, washer/dryer, etc.

I'm still waiting on results, but Korte was quickly responsive at the detriment to another company. John did a great job.

We were having trouble with our furnace and thermostat performing correctly. Paul arrived promptly at the time specified. He was very cheerful and professional. He immediately spotted the problem which he corrected. Paul is the very best, yes, the very best technician ! We would highly recommend Paul as the TECHNICIAN OF THE YEAR! A 10 OUT OF 10!! Korte is very fortunate to have such a proficient service technician as Paul.

When we smelled gas, we hesitated to contact a bigger company, but have been pleasantly surprised with the excellent service provided to us by Korte. John W. from Korte is a might fine plumber. I had a water leak, and he figured out the right thing to do for the repair, and handled the task way better than I thought was possible. He drained the pipes of water, remove old leaking shut off valve, and install new pipes that fit right without any leaks.

Also Rudy J. from Korte is a might fine electrician. I had two electrical issues that he figured out real fast what was wrong, and the best way to repair them. I had in my mind a way to fix it, but his way the correct way, for my way was much more labor intensive and wrong.

Thanks again Korte for having both fine service technicians and staff available.

Ryan was the sweetest young man. He remembered being at our home in prior years for the previous owner. He helped me to understand how our generator works. He also advised me of All the other services that his company provides! We are thinking are considering having everything that needs servicing done by them. They have yearly plans he explained, that save me trip charges +. Very polite customer service too! Hope to see Ryan again.

Work was completed in a timely manner!

Disappointed! With all the advertising on TV you would think they would stand by their word. Came to fix drain and replace tub fixtures. When they left the first time couldn't even turn the faucets off! So they came back out that night, and after they left I noticed that the drain does not hold water. So now I can't even use my tub! I would have not given any stars, but that was not an option.

Ryan came for our yearly generator maintenance on Friday and as always he did a thorough check on our generator. Ryan is always upbeat and very polite and friendly. We are always glad to see him.

Too expensive

I called this morning and had repair rep here in a matter of hours. Carlos Y. was very polite, knowledgeable, and wasted no time identifying my problem. He fixed the problem (which turned out to be minor), answered all my questions and left me feeling much better and no longer worried about a potential crisis. Highly recommend this company.

We had our furnace die in the middle of a very cold week. We called Korte and they immediately sent Brandon to help us out. After many hours of doing what he could, he explained that we needed a new furnace, which we were expecting as the furnace was very old. Brandon was very through in his explanation of the problems and was extremely courteous and helpful. within an hour Korte sent Jerry Yoder, our sales rep to discuss a new furnace. He showed us several options, explain the benefits of each one. Once chosen, he got this book for the very next day. Korte brought us heaters to use because of the extreme cold, an extra nice thing we didn't expect. Greg B and Nolan came first thing the next morning and got right to work. With expertise they explained everything they were doing and then when the work was completed, explained how we were to use the thermostat. All personal we encountered right down to the dispatch caller were top notch... friendly, helpful and courteous. I can't say enough good about Korte as a company and about the exceptional staff they have working for them.

I had self-diagnosed my furnace problem and wanted a technician to do the work (dealing with the gas valve). Now it won't be the first time that a homeowner was wrong in his diagnosis, but I was most impressed with how patient Robert was and how he explained everything to me. Ultimately something was partially restricting a nozzle. He cleaned it out, put the system back together and the flame looks really good. The repair was a whole lot less than I expected and , for what I received, quite fair. That's why I have called Korte each time I have needed a repair.

James Marshall was so professional. He took his time and made sure everything was perfect. He even noticed a few things wrong under our sink and corrected it all. Thank you James and korte.

Melting snow on a stove to flush toilets gets old quickly. Fortunately, Neal and Jake from Korte to the rescue and had our water problem fixed quickly. I especially appreciated Neal explaining exactly what they we're doing and why. I have a severe hearing loss from my deployment to Iraq 15 years ago, but he spoke up clearly and I had no trouble understanding. Frozen pipe between the well and pressure tank was the culprit, but they checked everything! I am glad it was not a bad pump and the pipe was accessible and they quickly had it thawed and no leaks! Water back on! Thanks Neal and Jake!

My technician was James M. He was a FANTASTIC representative of Korte. James was scheduled to arrive at 8:00am to replace my sump pump system and install a battery back up on October 18th

James showed up at 8:00am on the nose. He was friendly, very respectful of my home, and he finished replacing the equipment (and removing the old) in an efficient time with little impact on my family.

James also suggested that I sign up for the annual PMI program for preventative maintenance on our furnace and AC units. He explained also about the membership benefits regarding additional services that Korte provides as well when i have this program. This was a no-brainer decision for me, so we added this plan as well.

The next time, I need service, I’m specifically asking for James. He was great!

Called for an emergency, we had a busted pipe and needed someone to look at it. Yes it was a holiday and during cold weather. The guy that called us back to schedule an appointment to come, was rude and totally unprofessional. He acted like it was an inconvenience that we called them. Mentioned how much it would cost for him to come out here a least 3 times. I made it clear I would not need someone out here unless it was an emergency. Yes, we could pay. My husband asked him to stop being rude and he only got more defensive. I guess know who I will never call again for any kind of service.

Ryan M. always takes good care of our standby generator. I hope we never need it to fire up, but thanks to Ryan I'm confidant it will do it's job.

I had a problem with my water heater so I called Korte Does I All. Within a couple hours I received a call back saying there was a plumber on his way. When James got here, he was very nice and looked at the problem. He then explained to me exactly what was wrong and what he needed to do to fix it. James had a helper with him, who I forgot his name, but both got to work right away and from the time I originally called to th time they finished was only about 5 hours. Had a new Carrier A/C unit installed. Greg B., Eric K., and Jason all did a good job, were professional, knowledgeable and able to answer all of my questions. They cleaned everything up and took it away and left me with a very clean installation. Jerry Y. was also very professional and well informed when he came to quote my new unit.

I needed my sump pump checked, they came out promptly, John explained everything in layman's terms, and I was very pleased with final cost. I will be calling them in the future and definitely will refer them.

Today I had my furnace serviced with Korte, who we have used for years for HVAC, plumbing and electrical needs. The technician was Jon Watson. He showed up early, worked thoroughly and efficiently, and was super personable. He explained what needed to be fixed in a way that anyone could understand. He's just a great guy, someone that I look forward to having back out in the spring. Korte Does It All has some fantastic people. Call them- you won't be disappointed!

Mason was a great technician who was friendly, professional, polite, and knowledgeable. I was quite confident in his diagnosis of the problem and the proper solution with in the framework of Korte’s way of operating. It seemed a bit inefficient to send a technician to a job site without any basic parts for common repairs on his truck. Nonetheless the job was done in a timely manner, on schedule, and very effective but also very expensive in my opinion. However I am used to doing things myself so my view is probably tainted. I was happy with results and would recommend them to others.

Greg B and Tim B installed a new Carrier Infinity A/C and Furnace. They called to alert me they were coming, arrived on time and treated my home with respect. The quality of the Carrier equipment is excellent and the installation was also. Can't tell they were ever here except for the quiet operation of the units. Have nothing but good things to say about the day.

John from plumbing and Zach from electrical installed a gas line and electrical outlet in our fireplace to allow installation of a gas insert; additionally, Zach converted old fluorescent lights in the basement to modern LCD fixtures. The work was performed promptly, technicians arrived on time, price was reasonable, and work was performed to my expectations. Both men were polite, courteous, conscientious, and personable and it was a pleasure to have them in my home. I am truly impressed by Korte, Inc.

We had an a Sunday emergency sewage situation. When another company's 24/7 service said they could be here Monday we called Korte (we now know who we should have called first). Tom L. called within minutes to give us an approximate arrival time. He then called again to let us know he was on the way and would be arriving within 15 minutes. Upon arrival Tom quickly diagnosed the problem and within minutes had the drain running great. Tom then took the time to show us the camera view of the sewer line and where the problem was occurring. He provided us with excellent advice regarding future service/maintenance steps. Rather than simply finishing the job and rushing off, Tom took extra minutes to check our floor drain for issues and install an expansion plug where needed. Tom shared information about the Peace of Mind Agreement and how it could have saved us money today but not in a high pressure manner--simply accurate and informative.
Hopefully we never need another emergency sewer call (and really, wouldn't any sewer backup be an emergency?) we will be calling Korte and hopefully Tom is on duty. We have some plumbing upgrades planned in the next weeks, we will be calling Korte and requesting Tom for our technician.

Year number 2 with Ryan. Ryan was here to service our generator for the year and like last year he was fast, courteous and professional.

Korte replaced garbage disposal. Checked at Menards for pricing. The one Korte installed cost about 120 bucks at Menards, Korte charged me 430 bucks. The tech said their hourly rate is $200/hour. That sounds a bit outrageous, since it only took him about 30 minutes to install. I called other plumbers and found $95 first hour and $65 after that. I am retired veteran with cancer and on chemo. Kinda thought I would get a better deal from this company. Disappointed and not recommending Korte.

I had 1 service guy and 2 installers out today to work on various projects. Every Korte professional I've ever worked with has been friendly, professional, and a good communicator. Today was no exception. I'm very happy with the quality of the work, the professional advice, and the total cost. I am confident if I have any issues, they will back up their work. I'm happy I chose Korte Does It All.

I arrived home from work on Jan 30th to find my water heater was leaking. I called Korte and they explained how busy they were. but someone would be there to help as soon as possible. Mike Y was the Plumbing Technician that arrived. Mike did a tremendous job. He explained the problem and the various options I had clearly and concisely. When he was finished he went through all he had done and made sure I understood everything. He was both professional and friendly and is a credit to himself and Korte.

Chad at Korte was a wonderful plumbing technician to help in assisting to find a water leak in a rental house we have. Neil was very good at explaining the problem and fixed it quickly. My only negative is that the cost of $235 seemed very high for only a half hour of work.

Furnace went out Saturday night called Korte Sunday morning, was told emergency service charge is $295. just to come out. Called Summers charged $89.to come out .furnace fixed for less than Korte's service charge. Will not call them again.

The AC to my house went out. I gave a call to Korte. When I called they did not give me a time window for the Service Technician but did say they would call 20-30 minutes before coming. Korte also assured they would be out today so, I was happy to wait for the phone call. I thought I would be waiting all day but, I only had to wait an hour or so. David was respectful and efficient. He had the AC up and running in no time. I was happy with the service.

Rudy was so professional and did a wonderful job of explaining what needed to be done and why. He was also one of the nicest, most friendly technicians I have ever had out to the house. When I need to have an electrician back out, I definitely plan on requesting Rudy. Korte has always been very fair and professional when they have been here, and I would highly recommend them.

Our 4 year old Carrier furnace was displaying an error light. We called Korte who we use for annual service on a Friday. They were able to send someone out the same day. The indicated error turned out to be very confusing since the expected cause was not found to be the problem. After a very long time trying a number of solutions Cameron finally determined that the gas valve in the furnace was defective.
Cameron returned the following Monday with a new gas valve which was installed. The furnace was then tested for quite some time until he was satisfied that everything was working properly.
I was most impressed with how timely everything was done and how thorough all the work was done.

Neal did a great job of cleaning the sewer line. He was on time. Explained what he was doing and ran the camera down 89 feet of sewer to show e how clean it was when he was finished. On a personal note, Neal was very professional and personable.

I called first thing in the morning. We were getting ready for an auction and we couldn't keep our computers up and running. Our computer tech. told me we had a dirty power problem and that we needed to get someone in and find it. I called Korte and told them my situation and they said they would send someone out ASAP. Rudy showed up and after testing the building found the problem. He fixed the problem after a few hours and we were up and running. That is what you call GREAT service. having a business I know service is important. Thank you Korte !!

Primary complaint- they damaged my radon abatement system while replacing my sump pump, and twice when I requested they fix it, shrugged and said that’s ‘not a service they provide’.
My sump went out and Korte replaced it— they were very fast (which was great!) and very expensive. It’s what I needed at that point. But they continually upsold me, and at one point cornering me while home alone in my (waterlogged) basement.
I don’t leave a lot of negative reviews but I’m at my wits end with this whole experience with Korte.

Called on Saturday after hours. Had no hot water was told would be emergency charge but if I could wait till Monday they could come out. Called Monday was told that the number I called was answering service they used and they could schedule me for Thursday. Told him I was told they be there Monday if I waited till Monday. Was told the answering service did not have there schedule. Note they installed hot water heater this is so poor and ridiculous. Told him I would call someone else. Called Rolf came out that day assured me they would and did was able to repair in couple minutes and charge me nothing. And hot water heater had korte tag on it. Needless to say who has my business from here on.

Korte has done it all for me for the last 26 years. Never had a bad experience. I highly recommend them.

Completely enjoyable experience with Korte. We had an emergent plumbing issue, and needed a quick response. Korte quickly sent Jake, and he was able to expertly resolve our problem that day. Jake was on time, clearly explained the problem, offered solution options, worked hard, cleaned up afterwards - all with a friendly and positive attitude. AND, at a reasonable price. Highly recommend Korte and Jake for all your plumbing needs.

You never *want* to have to call on Korte a second time, but we were glad we did. Neal was again wonderful to work with, explained everything along the way, and gave us good advice on a few things to do moving forward. Todd was efficient and also did a great job explaining all our options for an electrical project. Never felt pressured to go with the most expensive options and never doubted that both Neal and Todd had our best interests in mind. No reason to call anybody but Korte!

The service guy himself was okay. I didn't like that he wouldn't tell me how much my part was or give me a breakdown of what I was paying for. I called the company where my part came from and my part was $35.00 probably plus shipping. The job was $363.00 not including the $121.00 discount because it took so long through no fault of their own. It took him less than five minutes to complete the job. Turns out I could have done that myself. The tech said, It's easy, when I said that didn't take long. Leads me to wonder. What is their hourly rate. He told me they do a flat fee. That's some flat fee.

Have had Korte work on several electrical projects lately (new breaker box and an hot tub wiring installation) and I could not be happier with their professionalism in quoting the job, scheduling the work, and then showing up on time and getting it done. David has done the work both times and is great!

Eric did a great job for my installation. He and his Associate were great in keeping me informed and how to use the new system.

Jerry came to the house and explained in a very clear and professional manner what I needed. The quote was reasonable and he was able to schedule for the next day. The installers were competent, courteous and efficient. I was very satisfied.

Greg B and Caleb W. called before they came to the house. They were true to their word and arrived as promised. They were quiet and very clean at their job and efficiently got the work done even long before we expected it all to be completed . Afterward, they took quite a bit of time explaining about our new heat/air furnace, showing how to operate it, and even explaining what to do first if we ever were to have a problem. Caleb is a whiz, connecting the Wi-Fi to my new system, which I personally appreciated. Both very friendly. ALL in all, Great job!

Korte has done several things for me over the years and I have been satisfied with their work. I recently had my HVAC replaced by them and was less than satisfied. They installed a two stage furnace and AC, but didn't wire my Nest thermostat for two stage. They instead left the staging decision up to the furnace CPU. My disappointment is that they didn't even ask me how I wanted it. Staging decisions should be made by the thermostat since the thermostat knows what the temperature of the house is. The furnace CPU just uses timers. I had Korte come back out to wire the staging to the thermostat and they didn't set the dip switch for the furnace staging and didn't remove the jumper for AC staging. So on the third visit out they got it right. So, my trust in the business is tarnished. If I wasn't smart enough to be able to check these things myself I would have been screwed. How many customers got screwed on their two stage install? Again, they didn't ask me!

You may be wondering why I didn't catch these things while they were here. I was out of town both times on business. On their third visit, I made sure I was at the house.

Did very professional job. Even helped clear snow for me to avoid falling on the ice. Had to work extra hard to remove and bring replacement hot water heater into home due to icing conditions. Pleasant to work with in spite of the late hour.

Koko was very professional and knew what he was doing. I definitely will be calling Korte again for my future electrical problems.

I had Nick do my A/C service and also had a small repair on the furnace o after the part came in. He explained everything and what needed to be done next time. It was nice to have someone like him to take care of it. I recommend Korte to anyone who needs service.

Horrible!!! Will never us or recommend to anyone!!!! There is so much miscommunication, one know what's going on!!! I had a drain plugged up, I told the person that I made the appointment with there was 2 inches of water in the basement. the next appointment available wouldn't be till 4 o'clock next day, never saying that they wouldn't work in the water. The plumber showed up at 4 and said he wouldn't go in the basement till the water was removed! He called other company to pump out the water. Kortes left and I called A1 sewer, they were here in a half hour, got the job done in 20 minutes... That why I will never us Kortes again! Oh by the way Kortes still changed me a service call...

We called Korte mid morning due to a leaking water heater . Mike Yereb and Layne arrived mid afternoon. Removed the old water heater and installed the new one in about an hour and half. Very Professional and courteous technicians. Discussed the questions I had about going to a tankless heater and answered all my questions. Explained the new controls and the settings. Highly recommend this installation team.

Derrick Link was great! Not only did he clean and inspect my air conditioner, he took it upon himself to clean my dirty siding around it! Work above and beyond and I appreciated it! Great work ethic!

My only concern (which is why I am deducting 2 stars) is with the company policy to have the office call the home before they commit to send out the techs even though the date was set up and agreed upon in advance! This was never mentioned as a requirement that I needed to wait for a pre arrival phone call. I couldn't answer my phone because I was outside mowing my yard. Multiple call attempts were made to my phones (to their credit at least) before the techs were reassigned. However, it was ASSUMMED that I was not home and I was home!!!! Had I not come into my house for a second and noticed my calls, I would have been a victim of a no show. When I called and asked why this is done, I was told that 9 out of 10 people will not be home. Honestly, that percentage is more than likely inflated for three reasons (1) people want their heat and air fixed ASAP (2) People prepaid for this Maintenance service! and (3) peoples lives are busy and is very difficult to reschedule these things. These three reasons alone compel most reasonable people to be more than likely be home!!! I believe that the percentage of people not being home are probably reversed and the truer reflection would be closer to 1 out of 10 that are not home. Regardless, it is tough enough to have a two hour window of being at home waiting for the techs to show. Now we have the added requirement to be around the phone too? I know the techs are all assigned work in the same area for any given day for time efficencies. Therefore, they could have easily driven by my house and discovered that I was in fact home and would not impacted their time schedules significantly had I not been there.

If this policy is not changed, it would be a great business decision to at least inform your customers that even when an agreement is made by both parties relative to the scheduling of work times and days, that sitting by your phone waiting for a pre arrival call is ALSO a requirement! (No other business that I know of requires this. They simply leave an Sorry I missed you card and move on.) Great topic item for discussion at your next Korte internal group meeting. The slogan Korte does it all should apply to all phases of customer service up to and including honoring agreed upon service dates and times w/o pre arrival phone call requirements. In the past I had always thought it was a courtesy call only and I thought that it was a great customer service item! Disappointed that I was wrong when I discovered the real reason for the call!.

Who knows how much inconvenience (to both Korte employees and customers) and business revenues have been lost due to this 'less than great' policy. Perhaps a feasibility study would be helpful to determine the impacts (both positive or negative) regarding this particular policy...

Finally, TRUST that the customer will be there as agreed upon just as the customer TRUSTS that a tech will arrive!

Neil K provided great customer service today! He fixed the problem immediately & most importantly, he educated me on how I can manage the problem if it occurs again. This is why I will continue to use Korte in the future.

My lift pump in my sewage system failed and Korte replaced the pump. They called before they were to arrive and actually were calling to see if they could come early and get started. Work was done quickly. A short in the electrical line from the house to the pump was discovered and also repaired in the same afternoon.

Neal was extremely courteous and answered all my questions. He showed me what he was doing and explained all facets of the job. We will be doing our business with Korte from now on.

Had them out to look at my a/c condenser. They concluded the fan motor needed replaced to the tune of $680+labor. The entire condenser is only $800. Got the number off the motor and went to Wagner electric and $136 later my air was working again. If by Korte does it all they mean they do their best to rip people off, they nailed it. I won't call them again.

Excellent Service

Jacob S.., an installer with Korte Does It All, did an excelling job installing my new heating and air conditioning system. He clearly answered my questions and made sure the new system was carefully installed to codes and ready for inspection. He elevated the new furnace enough in the basement in case of a sump pump problem. He made sure the outside air conditioning unit was set firmly on a new pad and replaced the old electrical connection outside with a new one. He explained the operation of my new system after installation. He removed the old system and cleaned up well when the job was finished. A customer can be confident in Korte Does It All and Jacob S.'s professional heating and air conditioning installation service.

Korte came out so quick to give me a new water heater when my old one CAUGHT FIRE!! They were so nice and even shared their cookie cottage cookies with me! Wonderful guys.

First and foremost they showed up over 5 hours late. No phone calls to tell me they were running late at all. I had to call them twice to check up and I was assured someone would be there eventually. Once the technician showed up, my system mysteriously turned on. He left it on and then threw a quote at me that he thinks it's gonna cost me over $2400 to fix my problem. He has to call and check with someone on that. His diagnosis changed more than 5 times and he had to make a phone call each time. Finally he said that I was half a pound short on refrigerant. He never weighed the container but I was charged for a full pound. With everything I was told, if I have them return, it'll be well over $3000 to fix any problem I might have. After he left and my system got to temperature, it never came back on again. $259 waisted.

Once again Korte saves us. Been without AC for 3 days. Finally broke down on memorial day and called for the emergency service call. Jeff called to say that he would be out at some point but had quite a few calls. At 9pm he finally was able to show up. He was quick to diagnose, and was able to explain our options. Unfortunately, to totally solve the issue will take a new system but Jeff was honest and said that he could recharge the system but it would be a patch to give us time to not have to make a large investment decision on the spot. Do yourself a favor and become a PMI member. It will pay for itself. Jeff thanks for awesome service and also Thank You for your military service. Korte has been amazing since we first called them 4 years ago. Never a doubt when you call Korte that you will get Superior service.

Korte is always outstanding, but Jacob S & Eric K went above and beyond installing our new HVAC/Water Heater this month. They cleaned up the plumbing work, explained everything to us, and in general were just trusted pros we were happy to have in our home. They actually installed the furnace system at our old house so it was fun to get to see them again. Korte and all their technicians are worth every penny!

James was courteous and prompt. Got me what I needed quickly. Estimate was precise and install is immaculate!

Today I had a ceiling fan installed by Korte. The fan looks beautiful and runs great. The service tech (Rudy J) did an amazing job. He took the time to show me how the controls and remote on the fan work. He also discussed other electrical issues with me. He was professional and very helpful. When he left he even brought up my trash cans - which was just amazing. This was probably the best customer service I have ever received. He was a remarkable electrician and provided excellent advice and service for my installation.

The guy was absolutely rude to us and treated us like we didn’t know anything.

Great service every time we have ever called Korte and today was no exception. Fan installation was quick and everything was cleaned up afterward. The installer even went an extra mile and tested all of our GFI circuits since he discovered we were getting ready to put the house on the market. Highly recommend.

We have used Korte for many years and love them! Nick W. was here yesterday to perform our annual maintenance on the gas furnace. Excellent service. He was on time, professional, and very personable. He did a thorough servicing, cleaning, and left no mess behind.

ok, I understand their high rate of $111 just to come out on a saturday afternoon. Had no idea though, they would charge by the 'job'
NOT hourly at an additional $541 for a total of $652!!! It took the guy 35 minutes to replace exactly 4 inch small size copper pipe and a $6 dollar single hose connector faucet (< $10 in parts) Korte had the audacity to send me a form letter that they normally only make $20-30 a visit. This is bull. Korte committed highway robbery.

Additionally, 8 years before, I had Korte come out to give an estimate on a new heat pump. Their sales agent insisted that my furnace was not compatible with the then current pumps and I would need a new furnace for a total of $8,000. Needless to say, I had a second bid and they replaced just the pump for $1,550 and my old furnace to this day works great.

Avoid Korte like the plague.

I called Korte today with a plumbing issue, they treated me with respect and didn't make me feel like an utter idiot, which another local company did, and they are coming out on a Saturday to deal with my issue! I feel like a valued customer!

So far the worst repair experience I've ever had. I called 5/30 as I thought a breaker was out to my central air. The electrician they send immediately begins cutting wires saying they are extra. After 2hours, he determines that it will require an HVAC guy. This is after having to reconnect some of the wires previously cut since comcast was here as well and those wires actually went to the living room. The HVAC guy begin playing with wires saying that he shouldn't but couldn't figure out why the blower wasn't running. After discovering the electrician had unhooked that wire as well, he reconnected it. Then it was a fuse issue. He said the experienced guy would be out tomorrow. The third and last guy only went to the outside ac unit, replaced the contactor and left. After having rooms lose power for the last few weeks for no reason and trying to figure out what they did wrong, I called them back out today. Instead of fixing it, I was told that all the guys who came out said they didn't do it so I need to pay $200 an hour to fix it! I dam sure didn't go into my own panel ripping things up to go without power! Right now my 3000 fridge is plugged into an extension cord, which wasn't the case before I called Korte.

Still no contact from anybody, found out that no part was ever installed. Paid somebody to repair the damage for 400 total with parts. Now to find out that the dumb ass tech shorted out my motor on the outside unit, probably to scam more money from all of their customers. Anyone who gives them five stars is an idiot with no basic knowledge, as that seems to be anyone employed by Korte.

Might have hired them to help fix some basement issues if it wasn't for the fact that one of them sped by my house in their Korte truck, yelled at my gf out their driver side window and flipped her off for a reason neither my gf nor I can fathom. She was sitting on our porch reading a book.

The Guy who came and did work to out house was very friendly. They did the work 100%. My Only gripe would be I had 2 ceiling fans and two light switches installed and one hallway light fixed. The price was $792 I just couldn't believe it. I will add we are 30 minutes outside of town. I just couldn't believe it cost so much. We have used them before solid work, just priced way to high

Evidently, Korte DOES do it all. I have standing water in my crawl space. They will not service until I clean the crawl space out. Terribly disappointed.

I had a new furnace installation that went great they walked me through the system had a little problem but Emily the technician came out later that same day and fixed the issue quickly. Definitely recommend Korte and will continue using them for all our hvac needs

The technition explained everything thoroughly, and made sure I felt comfortable with everything that he was doing.

Installation went smoothly and looks very good. The service truck was well stocked with tools and equipment so everything needed for the installation was handy. The job was completed in a timely manner and the work area was clean and tidy when completed. Very knowledgeable and answered our questions very well. Good job.

JIm was pleasant and professional. He quickly diagnosed the problem, quoted me a price for the replacement, found that it was still under warranty, and scheduled a time to perform the replacement.

Mike arrived first thing in the morning. He was pleasant and professional. He assessed the problem, explaining what he found and how he would fix it, then got right to work. His confidence, in his ability to do the job right, assured me that I would be pleased with the work. Mike worked quickly, without rushing and tested everything before he left. I appreciate that Mike explained everything and offered suggestions for maintaining for the future. Exceptional company. They treat your house like their home (I appreciate the booties over shoes, dropcloths and vacuum!). Thorough, offer you various options. When we contacted them (after regular hours, thanks to their 24 hour online chat feature)with a small issue, Rudy returned the next morning. He even adjusted our closet door so it would close properly.
They will not oversell. On previous visit, Zach explained why a product I wanted to be installed would not serve the purpose intended. Another time when we desired a larger product than Korte carried, he found it on the internet for us. Good, honest people. Great experience from when we called to someone coming out and giving us a quote to completing the work on my new ac unit and furnace. Very simple, easy to understand. Answered all of our questions. We just replaced our 14 year old geothermal unit for a gas forced air furnace and central air. The quote we received was comparable to other quotes but what made Korte Does It All stand out is the service! The sales person, Jerry Yoder, was prompt to respond to our request for a quote and within a week we had our new unit installed and running. The service technicians did a fantastic job and were very courteous. We recommend this family owned company to anyone looking for great service.

First off let me say that Korte did a quick job to fix my issue. However I’m upset about the cost.
A week and a half I joined their peace of mind (PMA) program for our HVAC system and was told the igniter on my furnace would need to be replaced at some point. We hadn’t had an issue yet so I declined and that’s on me. A week later and no heat. Call them back up and it ends up being the exact part I was told would eventually go bad. Just my luck, but now it’s about $50 more expensive $150 up to $197. With the PMA program I’m supposed to get a 10% discount not a 25% price increase!!

Tech Irie has been to my home twice now and is very professional and takes time to explain things very well to me without making me feel dumb about what is happening in my home. Great job Irie!!! This time he was joined by Adam Rudolph who showed me via camera what was happening in my main line, all good news! He talked with me about things that I can do moving forward but didn't pressure me in anyway.
I will continue to use Korte. They are very professional and no surprises at payment time.

Neal went above and beyond during his service call to our home. Very knowledgeable and honest in his assessment. Super nice guy and very helpful. I had Korte come out to look at my drain and plumbing situation. Another sewer company came out and things ended up getting slightly worse.

Neil and Jake came out to assess and fix my problem. They ended up snaking my drain and now things seem to be better. They gave me a guarantee that if it ends up not working, they will refund the cost to small on future work needed (like a credit).

The price was close to the other price I paid with the other company to snake the drain. But this was next day service and the drain appears to work as of now. Time will tell if there is a larger problem or not.

You get what you pay for, and now my drain works.

I’ve never hired a plumber before so when my garage drains were clogged, I used Home Advisor to identify local businesses that service drains. Korte was the first business to respond to my service request. The service staff were courteous, the trip fee was fair, and they provide a flexible schedule. I was able to schedule an appointment for the following day. The plumber who came out, Mike, was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient—he had the blockage cleared and the drains back to normal in no time. It saved me time and a lot of hassle. I would definitely hire them again and would recommend Korte to family and friends.
