I'd give these guys a negative star if I could. I am an electrical contractor that had to come behind these guys, they destroyed a panel by cutting the bottom corner, they stubbed an 1 1/4 pvc MA whole knocking out the 1 1/2 ko out, pulled all my breakers out of the panel, drove a 3 inch screw through the back of the panel in to the busbar AND a 20 amp breaker. They bad mouthed me to our client, then ran when I asked why they didn't use a hole saw and why they pulled my breakers out of the panel.

I never write reviews but I had to for this company. They have awesome quality of work, ethics, and with the best prices in town!!!!! Indy Voltage (IV) restored our power to our garage and changed all of our 2 inlets(no grounder - fire hazard) to the modern 3 inlets (has a grounder) power switches in Broad Ripple.

The company as a whole is really easy to deal with and the crew is very professional the leader of the team had +20 years of experience so they been around the block. I would hire them again in a heartbeat if we need any other jobs around the house and will definitely recommend them to our family or friends!

Longer story if anyone is curious.
We installed a treadmill and a refrigerator in our garage and little did we know we overloaded the existing OLD circuit. IV came out and in 10 minutes the rep knew what it was without even looking at the panel box. At the time of the service, the guys ran an underground cable (yes, they had to dig a 20 ft long line. Also, they used the best path possible for us with little to no disturbance to our planters or pavers in our backyard. I was extremely surprised and HAPPY about that). They installed an additional panel to support the load but I was informed that only one circuit was going to be installed. I am no electrician but I taught didn't I already have one circuit and it overload running the equipment and refrigerator?

Anyways, I called IV and dealt with the quote originator (owner) and I told him thank you for the service everything turned out amazing but I was going to need them to come out again to quote us for the second circuit on the panel they installed because I wanted to run my treadmill and refrigerator at the same time in my garage so I needed a new quote.
IV apologized immensely for the miscommunication and that they were going to send their guys free of charge to install the additional circuit. Honestly another company or another guy would have taken advantage and charged us additional costs but the owner took ownership of the confusion and they were going to fix it the next day of me complaining.

They're okay, but probably wouldn't recommend given the quality of work this time.
Had to call several times to get an answer, which didn't match previous experience, and a no-call no-show were minor inconveniences. They did show up the next time, but drywall guy had already finished his work by then.
Previous work (sub panel and 220 outlets) were done with excellent attention to detail, so worth the price twice over.
This time work was fairly sloppy, no nail protection plates on cap studs, outlet holes cut oversized, nail pops in ceiling, and flex conduit run through drywall to heater without a box to garage heater. Not to mention being placed too closely to heater to allow it to pivot as designed. Required several hours of cleanup after the fact, but everything still technically was okay. Not sure the flexible conduit met code, but was definitely safe.
Some may say it's just a garage, but after paying for drywall work on the ceiling and cleaning up previous homeowner's shoddy work, I expect more than I'll have to cut a hole here, here, and here to fish a wire through a wall with existing wiring that I could do with glow rods or fish tape in only slightly more time. After all, that's why I called for professional help as I do anytime the faceplate needs to come off of the service panel.
They did nothing specifically wrong, but for the price it wasn't worth not getting up in the attic and doing the work myself. Just make sure you're very specific about the outcome before you agree to work and I'm sure you'll not be disappointed.

The man that came to fix my crackling lightswitch was SO quick, and pleasant, too. I couldn't hear his name over my dogs, but I hope he comes back if I have other issues.

We called Indy Voltage over a holiday weekend, and Shawn arrived at our house within a reasonable amount of time. He correctly diagnosed the problem and consulted with his team to determine the most cost effective way to resolve the issue. Shawn was experienced, very nice, and we were happy with the work he did. I'm only giving 4 stars because he didn't have a business card and didn't give us an invoice.

I had called Rick, owner of Indy Voltage, come out to repair a torn wire after a landscape installation. The price was out the roof but the service was fast and reliable. Due to their pricing I am much careful, although I will use them again if needed. Highly recommend if you need a fix ASAP. Be aware that the price is higher for last minute fixes.

If I could give this company zero stars I would. They originally came out to resolve a small electrical problem (replace outdoor plug). Thinking they did a good job (not knowing that they botched that job) we scheduled them to replace our fuse box. It was awful! The electrician that showed up didn’t have all the tools he needed. Had to borrow a drill from us because his wasn’t charged.
Fast forward. Had to call the company back out because the plug was getting too hot. Was told it was reason ‘x’ and that it was fixed. A couple days later we had a breaker that kept tripping in our newly put in fuse box. They come out again, this time a different guy. He tells us that the dude probably just didn’t have the right size breaker and just put the size smaller in. <-this issue is now solved. However I had to have a different electrician come out today to look at the outdoor plug Indy Voltage had now changed twice. New electrician informed me that the new plug was a 15 when it needed to be a 20 and that is why it was getting so hot it was melting the plug. I am livid. They made us pay for every time they came out. Steer clear of this company. Shotty work, unprofessional, and unprepared.

The electrician came to the house because we had two lights that didn't work. He worked on fixing the problem for just an hour and then charged us $300 Dollars for the work. The problem was a bad wire. We were previously quoted $200 for the repair and he said that was just a rough estimate. We asked him to write down the detailed cost on an invoice but he didn't have any paperwork with him, to write anything up for us. He said he will have someone write it up later, after we pay and have them email it to us, which never happened. Also, writing an invoice up after the work is already paid for is simply incorrect. Would not recommend this company. The electrician left without giving us anything in writing and we never heard from them again.

Indy Voltage did a great job. Both Rick and Travis kept me up to date on their findings and plan of action and were able to explain what was going on to me in a way that I could understand. They actually stuck to the time they said they would be at my house even though there was tons of snow that came out of nowhere.

Called twice talking to the owner Rick each time. The first call he said they would be out the next day. Never showed up. A week went by and I called again talking to him. Again, a promise but no delivery.

Missed the appointment for a very simple job. Called the next day to apologize and offered a discount on the job. When he showed up the following day he did not provide a discount...will not use again

WARNING!!! Buyer Beware!!! I saw what this company did or more accurately DID NOT do at my friend's house. It is so frustrating to see a company take advantage of people. This company did not pass inspection and refused to correct all their mistakes. Now, my friend is out thousands of dollars because of the company. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

I was told an electrician would be at my house between 9-10 am on a Saturday morning. I received a text from the electrician that said “I should be there around 1-2.” Not dependable. I would not recommend.
