Francisco Mercado is the guy who helped me to diagnosis the problem of my furnace. He is very professional and troubleshooting the hidden problem of my furnace. Thumb up

Complete scam. Two guys came over, looked at our shower drain that was draining slowly, told me to leave the room, and then when I came back in, they said their auger was too big (even though it looked like a 1/4 inch which should fit my drain) and they said that they’d need to bring their supervisor out to do a hydro spray at an extremely jacked up price of $1500-$2000. My hunch is that they advertise cheap drain clearing services, make it worse, and then up sell desperate customers on expensive up charges. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Drain cleaning was not accomplished. Had to call another plumber.

They came within 2 hours of my call. Prompt, professional and polite. Couldn’t ask for better technicians. They spent two hours in search of all the clogs, diagnosed the problem and even gave tips on how to avoid the problem in the future. No up-selling and the price was very reasonable.

Kitchen sinks clogged. Alexis came by and wanted to try and clear the issue from inside the house instead of my exterior clean outs because he was concerned that could damage our pipes. He thought his snake machine was too big! He went and returned with another. I was questioning his experience and it was confirmed after he cleared the mess and told me it was his 3rd week on the job. Being a retired Manger of a large contractor Performance Contracting I was truly impressed with his calmness and professionalism!

Technicians arrived on time, diagnosed problem, arranged schedule for repair in a timely fashion. The crew then proceeded to affect the repair in a very professional manner.

Richard Rohde provided the necessary expertise to remove a drain cover grouted to floor tiles in an atrium and manually cleaned the drain of tree roots. He was professional and efficient.

They were great. Our heater/air conditioning went out. They fixed it. They were polite and helpful.

Came out same day and charged fairly. Nice guy, old house but he figured out the system and took care of the sewer clog.

I've been through so many plumbers. Rooter Hero is the first contractor I would use again and recommend. The phone customer service is great. They clearly know what they're doing and are super friendly.
I installed a new fill valve, but couldn't stop the leak from one of the plastic fittings. I tried for 2 days before I gave up. Turns out I stripped the threads, creating a mess! Blake was so nice and never blamed me:) He had to run to the hardware store and get a new, better fill valve. Blake took the time to show me how I could successfully install it in the future. The job took much longer than expected, but Rooter Hero stuck by the quoted price, amazing!

Eric was our main technician. He was great right from jump street. We ended up with Eric , Glenn, Sean and William to get the job done and they were awesome. I will definitely use Rooter Hero again if necessary. Thank you so much for great service and professionalism.

Jorge did an excellent job clearing/snaking the sewer line and toilet. Jorge is an excellent a model employee. However this was the second time in 5 days I had Rooter Hero out to address this problem.

The first time was Friday 3/14. The two Rooter Hero employees were worthless. They diagnosed the problem was not on the main sewer line but the drains under the house. They argued with me and my tenant that 3.5 years ago Rooter hero had not replace the main sewer line starting at the toilet under the house and installed a clean out. They didn’t even check the line at the clean out. They said Rooter Hero had only replaced the line for about 15ft from the front of the house to the curb. They said that all the drain piping under the house needed to be replace for around $15000.
Afterwards I had another plumbing company come out who showed me that Rooter Hero did not do the work they proposed 3.5 years ago.
In the future I will never us Rooter Hero for new plumbing work. I will only use the to correct the work they did 3.5 yrs ago.

Avoid for any type of plumbing issues

First they pushed my appointment twice for an urgent sewer block. The tech that arrived was, in my opinion, unprofessional and was not considerate of tracking dirt into the home.

The tech ran no faucets, no shower, no flushing, absolutely zero due diligence on where the block might be under the home. They immediately went to find a 2 way cleanout around the perimeter of the house. When we could not find one, they instantly tried to push the install of one (which is not a bad idea) but basically trying to instill fear into us that it was necessary.

Their quote was $6500 for a basic install. They had me on the phone with their sales person trying to sell me on the install, offered finance, saying they could do it same day. When I mentioned that this price seemed ridiculous they put me on hold to talk to his manager and was able to give me a $500 discount. Wow, what a deal!

Since the clog was preventing us from doing laundry/washing dishes etc. I asked how much to do a snake and was quoted $300. I paid $50 for the visit and reached out to another company.

The other company was on time, professional, wore shoe covers in the home. They did a thorough inspection to discover the block was near the kitchen and found a cleanout access point near the sink that Rooter missed.

The cleanout was $175 and they quoted me $1500 for the 2 way install and said it wasnt necessary but something to consider in the future.

Avoid Rooter Hero. Unprofessional, Insanely overpriced, and (most importantly) dishonest.

Ignacio was wonderful. He got here within 30 mins of my call about a clogged drain. He was so sweet and knowledgeable, and he got the job done in less than an hour.

Very prompt, speedy, professional and nice guys. One small concern was the pricing was not very clear. I was told I would get an estimate when they arrived, and I was given a range from 75 to 300 depending on how much they had to dismantle. The final price was closer to the 300, but there was no head’s up during the service that the higher price would be required due to what had to be dismantled. There wasn’t anything technically wrong with this since it was definitely within the range stated. I would have just preferred a bit more warning so I wasn’t surprised by the invoice. Overall this was really minor because final price was still within other quotes I got. I would definitely use this service again!

After a mid communication about scheduling Aref appeared to service our heat pump. He made it a point to wear shoe covers in the house and did his job professionally and throughly. He also educated us regarding air filters and made an extra trip to the supplier to find the filters we needed. Thanks

We had a hot water slab leak & Rooter Hero - especially Chris Arteaga- were great to work with. They had the issue identified & entirely fixed in 48 hours. This includes jack-hammering through a foot deep slab and re-filling the concrete to look like nothing had ever happened. Chris was courteous, explained everything he was doing to us & obviously cared about doing a good job.

Had a big leak when my garbage disposal failed and called this company after my Home Warranty company Service Plus said they couldn’t find a company to respond. The job cost more (much more) than we figured but tech came at the appointment time, quickly went out and returned with same model disposal and completed the replacement. Everything works and doesn’t leak. Will keep checking since it’s under warranty for a year.

Installed plumbing clean out to tie into sink plumbing in order to clear out sink drainage.

Due to the extreme rain we had, my backyard drain had backed up and flooded my backyard which flowed into my home. There was urgency in getting someone out to snake the line before the next storm arrived. Ignacio was the man for the job. He was very kind, calm, and helped ease my mind. He was very thorough snaking the line, then running water in the drain to ensure the water flowed and did not backup again. My neighbor experienced the same issue as I did. Ignacio was willing to go over and snake the drain in her backyard as well, without a prior appointment.
He helped make 2 single older women feel a little less worried about this happening again.

Seriously clogged toilet system. He showed up two and a half hours after we called for services did to work within an hour and got the drain clean.

was baited with a $77 clean your drain coupon on my newspaper. when they arrived they said it would be 4x that costs to clean my drain because it was difficult to reach. I have a vanilla tub with a basic drain. False advertising to try and get your business in an unethical way.

The Company was quick in getting a serviceman to our house very quickly. I was very happy with the technician, Ignacio. Ignacio was professional, knew his job and was very friendly and truthful and honest. I certainly will use this company and the technician, if there will be a need in the future.

Clean, well knowledge, fast professional work, happy about the service

I tried to have them come to inspect & fix my water heater. They ditched me on my first appointment w/ them. Then they said they going to give me $50 off, but turns out you can't use that $50 off on the inspection service. But That is not the problem. The problem is I feel like that they are not honest in their price. They quoted me $7,000 for replacing a regular residential 40 gallon water heater! That is crazy! Home depot quoted me $1860 for doing the same thing with 10 years warrenty! I understand everybody has a different price but charging people so much for a small job is just doesn't sound right.

These guys came out within 30 minutes on a Sunday at 9pm, got my main line cleared in about 20 minutes and were out the door. What more can I say? Thanks Angel for the fast work!

This company i had used in the past. Who i thought was great. I called them again when we had some new issues with work they had already done within the 2 year warranty. Wanted to charge me to put a camera in and see what was wrong. It turned out they only charged me 25% of total becuase I was within my warranty. Which is horrible. Came back and said I had roots going into the City connection to the street. I asked why didn't they catch it before. Said they never looked. My wife asked questions and they tried to side step them. Missed a crack back up the line and quoted me a luxury car price to replace the piping to the street. Called another company and am getting it fixed this week for a 1/4 of the price.

I would say overall it was excellent, they were accommodating when I had to push my appointment back a couple hours the night before, and when Shawn arrived he was Great! He reviewed the situation and spoke with me about it, then went right to work and did the task at hand with a great attitude.

Jayro and Blake were the plumbers assigned to locate and repair a leak under my kitchen sink. They arrived timely, were professional and courteous. It took them less than 3 minutes to find the slow leak on the back wall of the cabinet. They quickly diagnosed the problem and proceeded to make repairs. They made a couple of trips to Home Depot to pick up required parts and, again, more parts to replace ones so old (30 years) they broke and crumbled in their hands. They also found the hose from the dishwasher to garbage disposal was short and may start leaking in the future. They went ahead and replaced the hose which was not part of the original job. These repairs are guaranteed for one year. If you choose to use this company, ask for Jayro and Blake. You have here a customer providing first hand testimony of their outstanding work.

The funding process is quick but they are expensive

$750 for an hour or so of work is a ripoff. That’s why I decided not to pursue replacement of a section of sewer pipe outside that was bid at $5000. Way too much for the work required. Bad business.

I have clogged drain in my kitchen sinks. Giovanni quickly identified the problem and snake the drain. He told me my problem was due to grease built up, and the correct solution was to hydro jet clean the drain pipe, but snaking the drain solved my problem for now.

I really like the inspection they did on the property, they know what they are doing, you can notice the experience they have.

They do not even deserve a star. The original request service call was dispatched right away and not at the request time. Then after an hour passed requested time, I called for status of technician. I was informed that I needed to be re schedule and promised a technician on site by 9:30 am the next day. The next day Again, I called and was informed that the technician was stuck on a job and should be on site within an hour. The technician made a call and informed me that it would require $1850 to fix the problem without even trying the original work request. This is a ripoff. Do not use this company unless you don’t care about the cost to solve a draining problem.

The team over there was fantastic, Responsive and affordable. I felt taken care of throughout the entire process!

Service Tech Daniel returned, from a couple of days ago, to install a part that was required to fix our heating system. He is friendly and professional and we have heat again! I'm impressed with the company, as well.

Called in to repair or replace (kit) Flushmate insert. they sell between 150 and 200 online. They charged me 45 to come out and look at the toilet then told me that it would be cheaper to replace the whole toilet. The Technician quoted me $1000 to do the work. I found the part online for 150 and a local qualified plumber to do the job for $200. I should have put on the breaks when they said that they have to come look at the job and give an estimate. Don't use this service. They probably do good work but the price is almost triple the other guys for the same work.

Ignacio is awesome, worked really hard on my almost 100yr old pipes and he didn’t give up until it was flowing again. Daughter had been putting so called flushable wipes in the toilet but they are definitely NOT FLUSHABLE and Ignacio made it right and I am just so happy. A real pro!

So many things went wrong, from start to finish. Dispatch did not communicate and I had to wait 2 1/2 days for EMERGENCY plumbing and heating repair. When they did confirm at the very last minute, I was reassured (in writing) the technician would be able to handle my heating and plumbing issues. Wrong. When he arrived, he said he could do nothing for the broken furnace. And the topper was the absurdly large charge of over $2700 to replace a sump pump that costs less than $200 retail. I refused service and still had to pay the $49 charge for the 5 min visit. I am beyond angry and feel like they were gouging me because of my dire circumstances. I will NEVER call them again.

One star goes to the tech, he was polite and he was only doing what his boss directed. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. They are a rip off they wanted to charge me $2200 to clean out my laundry line. They said they had to cut a hole in my wall and put a clean up. Or go on my roof and use some power clean ouThey said this was the cheapest they could do. I paid them their service fee which I think is ridiculous in the 1st place to have to pay and said no thank you. I then called a service that I had used numerous times and they were able to come out and take care of it for $300. Rescue Rooter is a total rip off, they are out for money not the customer. Once they get out there with their coupon with a great price then they rip you off. Run don't use them.

We picked one that * thankfully * took care of the problem, and Ignacio was on his way. Thank you for showing up on time on a Sunday, giving us options, doing a great job for a very fair price! Rooter Hero did an amazing job. I called them on 11/7 for a stoppage. They ran their camera and saw there was a broken mainline clay pipe. Angel would come out day and night and him and the rest of the Rooter Hero Plumbers until they fixed the mainline installed a cleanout hydrojet it and called the city to take care of clearing their portion of the line. The job was completed last Friday. The company is very professional, puntional and I highly recommend them.
