Hot water heater broke. They came out and replaced it on Labor Day evening. No extra charge. Very professional.

I have had 2 completely separate negative experiences hiring Peninsular Plumbing and would like to share my experiences with you to help you understand why I do not recommend hiring Peninsular Plumbing. My observation is that they have very low standards for the plumbers they on board and send to your home. Peninsular Plumbers: broke my bathroom tile and roughly patched it up, installed a brand new utility sink that was leaking water immediately after they left (plumber promised to return and fix it but instead went AWOL), and they sold me a $600 faucet that retails online at Wayfair for $200 (looked it up by model number for an exact match). Most recently, due to the insistence of my mother and against my better judgement, I hired Peninsular to install my brand new dishwasher because I needed a plumber to replace the waterline because of the way my kitchen is set up. The plumber: 1) did not replace the waterline and instead just connected the brand new dishwasher to the old waterline, 2) used the old washer’s power cord (instead of using the brand new power cord I provided), and when the dishwasher wasn’t working correctly giving us an error code pointing to installation error he insisted he had installed it correctly, spent a ton of time on the phone with the manufacturer trying to trouble shoot the issue and concluded that the dishwasher must be defective. My heart sank when he handed me a bill for almost $400 for installing a dishwasher that wasn’t even working. After he left, I noticed the dishwasher door was severely hitting only one side of the dishwasher, revealing that the dishwasher was definitely not level – another trigger for the installation error code we kept getting. After getting the dishwasher installed properly by a different vendor (me literally double paying for installation), I contacted Peninsular with significant evidence (pictures and a written affidavit from the installer who installed it correctly) demonstrating Peninsular Plumber’s improper and incomplete installation to kindly request a refund for their improper installation. Unfortunately, Peninsular did not respond positively in an effort to make it good to me, instead, they were more interested in protecting their interests, literally stating: “By law we have to have the opportunity to make the work right when something is done improperly or not to your liking. It’s called the “Right to Repair Act”. Once you file a complaint with the contractor (Peninsular Plumbing) we have 45 days to respond by offer to remedy, compromise or settle, and/ or dispute the claim. When your mom called on 5/20/17 you already had a new installer there who told you that we did that work improperly and was proceeding to correct it. At the point of call we have the opportunity to remedy the situation. Now that you had the work done already by someone else we are not able to remedy our work.” This is ridiculous. Peninsular is now requesting that I take EVEN MORE time off of work, on top of all the time and money I’ve already spent thanks to their improper installation, to entertain them coming to visit me at my home to look at the properly installed dishwasher before they can even entertain refunding me for their improper installation. Peninsular does not take great care in the quality and experience of the plumbers they bring on staff and ultimately send to your home. It is never my intention to hurt a business by writing a negative review, but I need to advise the general public against hiring Peninsular based on my two separate experiences with them. I hope this feedback helps them improve the way they are doing business and helps them realize how what they do and how they handle things impacts others negatively. I wish them well and I hope they can become a better company in the future.

I must admit living in a South Tampa 48 year old building has led to some infrastructure problems. Peninsular Plumbing and I must mention Ira Williams with out a doubt has been a pleasant ending to a busted pipe in the wall. I would with out a doubt recommend Peninsular Plumbing. I thank Ira for his professionalism and detailed work. I contacted two plumbers before hitting on Peninsula Plumbing. They convinced me they were able to do what I wanted and they were rightI contacted two plumbers before I ran into Peninsula Plumbing who convinced me they were able to do what I wanted and they were right. Ira is persistent and no matter what he runs into he seems to solve the problem. One word describes Its and thats Perfectionist .

Had an amazing experience ! From the first call with the polite knowledgeable young lady in the office to the plumber who responded. Pricing was great they were able to accommodate my needs and were able to use some fancy equipment to identify the source of my leak. I would definitely utilize and recommend Peninsular again !!

Great workmanship, excellent staff, competative pricing

This is the company my home warranty chose for me when I was having trouble with my toilet. It was an easy job but they did a great job. Showed up early, very polite, friendly and efficient. The woman answering the phone to do scheduling is very nice too!

Peninsular Plumbing is a great company - called them for drain cleaning and their technician (Tom G.) came out. He is ex-military, extremely personable, knowledgeable and did not look like a convict from the TV show Cops. I got service scheduled for that same day and he cleaned up afterwards. I would highly recommend them.

Absolutely LOVED working with this company! We got connected by a warranty company that sent 3 previous companies out who couldn't fix my Hot Water Heater. They diagnosed it immediately and was able to get me up and running in hours!!! I'm so thankful for their kindness and efficiency of this company!! Thanks guys!!

I love Peninsular Plumbing .. As a women all there techs have treated me with nothing but the up most respect. They have always fixed my problems the first time. All there techs were uniforms ,shoe covers, and always clean up after theirself. The Solar water heater and water softner has been the BEST.. If you use them you I PROMISE YOU WONT REGRET IT.

Had soft water valve blow sometime over night Sat/Sunday morning massive water leak in yard - Stephen T responded within 30 mins (7am) and repaired the issue - totally professional and helpful - will use this company again

We used this company for all the plumbing purposes for our newly constructed home with a move in of two months ago. We had them install two Trutankless water heater‘s. We have been contacting them since our move-in date with issues of not having hot water or it coming and going intermittently.Service tech “Elvis”came out a couple of times and was unable to fix the issue. Then called the company again and spoke to Brian who said he would call us back and we still have not heard from him in over a week. The service tech claims that he’s in touch with the creator of the true tankless water heater and that he would get help to fix it but this is still been a problem and we have been living in the home for two months and it’s still not resolved.

This company is absolutely horrible they charged me $190 for 4 minutes on one drain. I then asked the employee if he would install this faucet in for me to replace the old one and he said no because I didn't mention it beforehand I have to make another appointment and be charged for two service calls now. I waited for my appointment over 5 days the time allotment was mine according to the manager the employee was concerned about his next job. The job took him the time it took me to get through one cigarette. I called the manager to express to him my experience and he offered to send someone out at a discounted rate mind you discounted from what a $190 per 5 minutes Do yourself a big favor and go elsewhere.

5 Stars all the way. Communication was great! They let me know who was coming and what time. Then Installer Russell called to tell me he was 20 minutes out from my house. Russell installed a 30 gallon electric Water Heater for me which I supplied. His work ethic was top notch, professional, cleaned up everything before he left and has a great smile. I would highly recommend this company and ask for Russell. Pretty good deal on the price also. Thank You so much Russell!!!!! :-)

Mike Griffin and Eric Charbonier were the plumbers that repiped our house. They were polite, friendly and explained everything that they were doing. They did a 4 day job in 3 days. They really worked their butts off. Would recommend this company for all your plumbing needs!

I used Peninsular Plumbing at my house and soon as they walked in the service tech Trevor was very clean and polite, I took him to the problem and he gave me multiple options to fix it , he was not pushy and he made me feel very comfortable. Once he fixed the problem he cleaned up after himself . I WILL RECOMMENED PENINSULAR TO ALL MY FRIENDS.

Our company had a few toilet clog and drain issues as of recently. The company we normally used (based out of Tampa, also a well-known national brand) said the issue was in the lines and gave us a quote of $2,900 for a recommended Descale and HydroJet service. We reached out to a few other companies, and received quotes for the service we were told we needed. Upon speaking Brian and Jerry from PP, we went with PP as they not only worked the most efficiently with our schedule, but had a clear cut proposal that really broke down the price (on what was recommended by the original company we called), and sent the proposal to us within the hour.

Upon arrival, Matt and his apprentice Ben, did not waste any time. They worked together, locating the cleanout to perform a camera service so they could better evaluate the situation prior to execution (super smart, as most companies just dive head-in). After using the camera, Matt went over the results with the head of maintenance and the property manager, showing that there was no build up after all, and explained the issue and the steps to not only prevent the issue but why the issue happened in the first place, and showed him the camera feed as he explained.

If we would have hired the original company, we would have been paying for a service that was not even needed in the first place. Matt from Peninsular Plumbing not only saved us money, but provided honest, friendly, and thorough service. Extremely well rounded company as a whole. We will be using this company again for our many properties, and recommending their services to our partners as well. Thank you again, Matt & Ben from Peninsular!!!

We used them for a huge re-plumb on our house. They were selected by our GC and not us. Once they got into it and I saw their pricing I called other plumbers and got quotes for the same thing. Other plumbers were 30-40% cheaper. They tried to sell me on a $2K water softener that was over the top. They are very expensive and I would not have chosen them if my GC hadn't already hired them. It was too late to get out of it. We had a leak in our shower a couple years later and the GC sent them over to look at it. We thought it was a warranty issue but they came over and couldn't figure out the problem despite the water line damage on the drywall. Then they sent us a $200 invoice without ever telling us we were going to be charged. We thought this was a warranty service call. We will never call them again.

Im giving one star because after pure Hell,they finally sent someone who knew just a little and tje problem was fixed.one thing for sure i will never use this pore excuse of a company..ohand good luck talking to the owner ,,i have never been desrespected in such a crude nasty way..DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

I ordered a dishwasher from Home Depot, with installation. It arrived the delivery subcontractor looked under the sink and said I can’t install. He called his office and I talked with them and they asked to speak to the “Driver” I called Peninsular Plumbing they sent a very nice young man and installed my dishwasher with no problem. Thank You Peninsular Plumbing.

Had them fix a major leak in my home, inside the walls. They were nice, honest and took care of my plumbing problem at a very fair price. Would highly recommend.

The services weren't for me..they were for my parents. But i was not impressed at all
